The perception characteristics of drivers greatly vary with the status of traffic flow. To designate the vehicle trajectory more accurately, a driver’s perception headway coefficient is introduced, and a fuzzy full velocity difference (FVD) model is proposed in this paper. Consistent with the control theory, the stability conditions of the improved model are derived. Through the fuzzy control method, the input and output items of the control rule are constructed, respectively. The genetic algorithm is operated to calibrate the model parameters of timid and aggressive drivers. Eventually, the effectiveness of the model is verified by simulations. The research results show that, with the decrease of driver’s perception headway coefficient, the stability range of the traffic flow gradually increases, which is beneficial. Additionally, the average root means square percentage errors (RMSPE) values of the full velocity difference (FVD) model, the intelligent driver model (IDM), and the proposed model are, respectively, 0.312, 0.308, and 0.213. Compared with IDM and FVD models, the proposed model can accurately describe the local velocity variations and determine the car-following behavior of the human driving vehicle better.

This paper compares the behavior of four geogrid reinforced soil walls with modular facing under cyclic strip footing loading. Four types of reinforcement schemes were used in the laboratory tests on 150 cm × 100 cm × 126.5 cm (length × width × height) walls. Strip plate was used to simulate the foundations for bridges. The settlement of the footing, deflection of the wall facing, lateral and vertical stresses below the centerline of the footings, strains in reinforcement layers, and acceleration in the soils were monitored during the cyclic loading tests. It was found that the layout of reinforcement layers greatly affects the bearing capacity, earth pressure coefficient, and dynamic responses of the walls.

And at last show an example of Wuhan Zhongnan Road subway station, analyze passenger satisfaction degree in subway station.

Only considered creep behavior of geosynthetics in the design and construction of reinforced structures, not that the creep behavior of reinforced materials considered geosynthetics-sand interaction under different loading levels. A series of creep tests on a geogrid under different loading levels were carried out through a self-developed test device. The long-term creep characteristics of the geogrids under different loading levels were analyzed. The results showed that: Compared to sand constraint condition, under the same loading level, the creep rate under non-constraint condition is about 1.1 times. After the creep time over 400 h, the strain growth rate tends to be a constant value for sand constraint condition, which needs 700 h for non-constraint condition. Creep deformation mainly occurs near the pullout endpoint of the geogrid, and the deformation of each strain measurement zone is reduced from the tensile end to the fixed end of the geogrid.

Most multilane highways in urban fringes of China separate vehicles from the other direction by the use of mid-barriers, which failed to prevent from dazzling at night .This research proposes the design methods of anti-dazzling on the mid-barriers with the basic principle of anti-dazzling. The multilane highway with 4 lanes which sets mid-barriers in urban fringes is used as a case of application, three schemes are set to compare their advantages and disadvantages by analyzing the shielding area and the bending moment of wind load, the result shows the anti-dazzling improvement of Scheme 1 increases 108%, Scheme 2 increases 102%,while the bending moment of wind load of Scheme 1 increases 59.6%, Scheme 2 increases 66.4%. So, the recommended design is Scheme 1.

In some cities, the zoning operation in taxi service leads to the difference in load ratio and empty return rate in their limited zones. Therefore, some negative phenomena appear such as the instability of drivers’ income and drivers negotiate the price without taximeter. In order to keep a balance between enhancing the drivers’ profit and protecting the passengers’ interests, establishing a differential pricing model based on the characteristics of taxi service in different zones. The operation areas, trip intensity and trip distribution have been taken into consideration about different taxi service zones in the model.

A single release method for four-leg roundabouts is proposed. To completely use the time and space resources of roundabouts from the aspects of adjacent entrances and T-type storage spaces of the circulating lane, two types of optimized single release signal control models for a four-leg roundabout are presented. The coordination of signal phase design on the two types of optimized control models is presented, the phase coordination calculation is described in detail, and the original cycle length model is improved. By comparing the delays of the two optimized signal control models, the applicable conditions for optimized signal control models are discussed. Finally, considering the Tanxi Road/Changhong Road Roundabout in Xiangcheng, Xiangyang, as an example, the effectiveness of the presented optimized control models is evaluated. Simulated results show that the traffic flow at this roundabout is improved when the optimization methods are applied.

Background Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is the most serious type of coronary heart disease. However, less than 30% of these patients have been treated effectively in China. Delayed treatment is a leading cause. This study aimed to evaluate a new regional cooperative model for improving the first medical contact-to-device time and the therapeutic effects on AMI patients. Methods A retrospective analysis of 458 ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients was performed. Patients were divided into two groups in terms of before or after the model were implemented. First medical contact-to-device time (FMC2D), Door to device time (D2D), referral time, cardiac functions, mean cost, days of hospitalization, and major adverse cardiac events (MACE) were analyzed. Results The mean FMC2D time, D2D time and referral time of the model group were significantly lower than the control group. The left ventricular ejection fraction of the model group increased but the left ventricular end-diastolic dimension decreased compared with the control group at 6 months after discharge. These results also showed that mean costs and days of hospitalization were reduced. The MACE rate was reduced in the model group. Conclusions These results suggested that the new model decreased the FMC2D time, which could improve the cardiac function and therapeutic effect of STEMI patients as well as decreased the financial burden.

Transportation evacuation study has become a research focus in recent years. This paper deals with emergency evacuation on the sidewalk using agent-based simulation. The current study develops a traffic simulator within NetLogo, an agent-based environment. Two sub-models are proposed including facility sub-model to describe global path planning of evacuee and evacuee sub-model to describe the evacuee behavior. We conducted simulations to investigate the effect of generation position of evacuees and the proportion of choosing bus on evacuation through a case study. Simulation results indicate that the proposed model can well address the interaction among evacuees with different evacuation modes, and if evacuees choosing bus evacuate near bus station and evacuees choosing walk evacuate away from bus station, then average walking time of evacuees and maximum density in statistical area are relatively small.

In this paper, from the medi-scope point of view, the intersection parameter is classified as the section parameter, and then the new intersection traffic state coefficient is defined. Based on the reachable matrix, a new method-hierarchical intersection analysis is used to divide the intersections into different crowded levels. Next, crossroad accessibility matrix is developed to distinguish the section connectivity and get the state results of the whole network. Last, we use this method to identify congestion state of the traffic on the road around Wuchang railway station, and the outcome shows the simulation result and the practical state are consistent.

With the rapid development of information technology and an increasing amount of information, the guidance information system has been provided with the self-organization condition significantly. In the case where the road environment involves drivers with self-awareness, the self-organization form of traffic flow is particularly prominent. This study, starting from the effect of self-organization characteristics on the drivers’ driving decision making, through interview surveys and questionnaire surveys, analyzes the inherent impact and regularity between traffic guidance information and driving decisions. It explores the dissemination process of guidance information and its complex nonlinear constrained relationships under the self-organization behavior form of traffic flow, through which it provides a theoretical basis for the strategy-making of guidance information with the self-organization impact of traffic flow and provides theoretical support for ensuring effectiveness on the release of traffic guidance information.

To investigate the effects of CD137-CD137L interaction on the nuclear factor of activated T cells c1 (NFATc1) in apolipoprotein E knockout (ApoE(-/-)) mice.Atherosclerotic plaque model was produced by rapid perivascular carotid collar placement in ApoE(-/-) mice. In vivo, the expression of NFATc1 in mice plaque and lymphocytes was detected by immunohistochemical and flow cytometry, respectively. In vitro, the NFATc1 mRNA and protein expressions in cultured lymphocytes of ApoE(-/-) mice were measured by RT-PCR and flow cytometry, respectively.In vivo, after stimulating CD137-CD137L signal pathway, the expression of NFATc1 was significantly upregulated in the atherosclerotic plaques and lymphocytes. In vitro, the mRNA and protein expressions of NFATc1 in cultured leukocytes of ApoE(-/-) mice were also significantly increased, the maximal effect appeared post 20 µg/ml anti-CD137 mAb-stimulation and reached maximum at 24 h at any concentrations. Anti-CD137L mAb significantly downregulated the mRNA and protein expressions of NFATc1 in lymphocytes of ApoE(-/-) mice, maximal effect appeared at 20 µg/ml anti-CD137L mAb and reached minimum at 24 h.CD137-CD137L interactions can modulate the expression of NFATc1 in this ApoE(-/-) mice atherosclerotic plaque model.

To investigate the effect of OX40/OX40L interaction on the nuclear factor of activated T cells c1 (NFATc1) in ApoE-/- mice.Lymphocytes were prepared from mouse spleens after Collar-treated Surgery, then incubated with a range of agonistic anti-OX40 mAbs and inhibitory anti-OX40L mAb to stimulate or inhibit OX40-OX40L interaction in vitro. The expression of NFATc1 mRNA and protein in lymphocytes of ApoE-/- mice was measured by Real Time PCR and flow cytometry, respectively.(1) After stimulating OX40-OX40L signal pathway, the expression of NFATc1 mRNA and protein in leukocytes of ApoE-/- mice was significantly increased, with maximal effect occurring at 20 µg/ml anti-OX40 mAb-stimulated, and peaked at 24 h at any concentration (P0.01). (2) Anti-OX40L mAb significantly suppressed the expression of NFATc1 in leukocytes of ApoE-/- mice, with maximal effect occurring at 20 µg/ml anti-OX40L mAb, and peaked at 24 h (P0.001).OX40-OX40L interaction can regulate the mRNA and protein expressions of NFATc1 in lymphocytes of ApoE-/- mice.

To analyze the accessibility of passengers transferring inside the railway hub and to establish the connection of exiting corridors and mode-transferring nodes, a new concept transferring decision-making node is introduced. The passenger transferring decision-making nodes are regarded as internal nodes and mode- transferring nodes are external nodes. The passengers’ transferring routes are formed by connecting those two kinds of nodes. So the passenger transferring accessibility matrix model can be built and calculated the shortest transferring-time based on Floyd algorithm, which is effective to analyze the hub’s layout rationality and transfer efficiency. Taking Wuchang railway station as instance, it proves that the transferring resources accessibility have been well inosculated with the actual constraints of Wuchang railway station.

The traffic flow distribution condition in the surrounding intersections of railway station plays an important part in the safety and smooth of the city. Using video collection technology, it made the License Plate Recognition of the surrounding intersection entrance and every exit of the railway station. Then it adopted fuzzy matching method to developed a new traffic flow matching analysis software. Through this way, it can obtain the vehicle path and traffic flow distribution. Finally, it set an example of Wuchang railway station to verify this software's effectiveness. It provides reference for other railway stations on determining the traffic flow distribution.

In order to reach highest level of service of existing transport hub, and to distribute several kinds of passenger flows, here based on investigation of passengers' rational choice of travel mode when leaving station, the most influencing factors of the demand function model on traffic capacity outside the hub are extracted. In order to assess the synchrony of traffic flow between hub and road nearby, this paper analyzes the match between capacity and actual traffic volume. Finally, an evaluation about the hub service can be made. Take Hankou Train Station for a case study, we testify the feasibility of this method. The result can also provide the theory foundation for transport transformation and evaluation.

The Railway Passenger Station is the joint which link the inside and outside of passenger transportation. The study on how the passenger to choose the traffic modes when they leave the station is the basis of study on transfer behavior in hub. According the survey and data analysis, this paper discussed the characteristics of tradition railway and PDL (Passenger Dedicated Lines) and then gave some suggestion about the problem of transport in urban railway passenger hub. It analyzed the passengers' transfer attributes including trip purpose ,, structure, travel time, and the transfer characteristics between the train and other traffic modes as urban rail transit, bus, long-distance bus or intra-city car. Considering the HanKou Train station without urban rail transit, the paper built the model of traffic mode choices in urban railway passenger hub based on combined RP/SP data, using the survey methods of the RP and SP data. The result can provides the theory foundation for the most reasonable arrangement of traffic capacity and the optimal combination of traffic modes.
