Cleft lip and palate is a common congenital developmental defect, which is mainly manifested as congenital oral and maxillofacial malformations. In patients with cleft lip and palate, jaw deformity often involves three-dimensional orientation, among which the correction of sagittal dysmorphism is the key point and difficulty in its diagnosis and treatment. In this article, we will elaborate on the indications and corrective methods for the treatment of maxillary retraction of cleft lip and palate, and introduce our experience in the sequential treatment of cleft lip and palate maxillary retraction in order to promote the standardization of its diagnosis and treatment.

Abstract Background Auriculocondylar syndrome (ARCND) is an extremely rare autosomal dominant or recessive condition that typically manifests as question mark ears (QMEs), mandibular condyle hypoplasia, and micrognathia. Severe dental and maxillofacial malformations present considerable challenges in patients’ lives and clinical treatment. Currently, only a few ARCND cases have been reported worldwide, but most of them are related to genetic mutations, clinical symptoms, and ear correction; there are few reports concerning the treatment of dentofacial deformities. Case presentation Here, we report a rare case of ARCND in a Chinese family. A novel insertional mutation in the guanine nucleotide-binding protein alpha-inhibiting activity polypeptide 3 (GNAI3) was identified in the patient and their brother using whole-exome sequencing. After a multidisciplinary consultation and examination, sequential orthodontic treatment and craniofacial surgery, including distraction osteogenesis and orthognathic surgery, were performed using three-dimensional (3D) digital technology to treat the patient’s dentofacial deformity. A good prognosis was achieved at the 5-year follow-up, and the patient returned to normal life. Conclusions ARCND is a monogenic and rare condition that can be diagnosed based on its clinical triad of core features. Molecular diagnosis plays a crucial role in the diagnosis of patients with inconspicuous clinical features. We present a novel insertion variation in GNAI3, which was identified in exon 2 of chromosome 110116384 in a Chinese family. Sequential therapy with preoperative orthodontic treatment combined with distraction osteogenesis and orthognathic surgery guided by 3D digital technology may be a practical and effective method for treating ARCND.

With the continuous development of China’s economy, the process of urbanisation and industrialisation has been accelerating, and coupled with the emergence of new energy, China’s urban energy consumption has undergone huge transformation. The urban energy Internet (UEI) is an important part of the country’s ‘carbon peak and carbon neutrality’, and it is also one of the key tasks in the planning, construction and operation of the power grid transformation. The traditional grid-side planning model relies on a single deterministic planning method, and there is less consideration for new influencing factors, which has been difficult to meet the energy demand in the context of the energy Internet. In this paper, research on UEI planning based on the fuzzy synthesis method is proposed. First, the basic architectural model of UEI is constructed. At the same time, the impact of distributed generation, energy storage, demand response, communication and other key technologies on the planning of active distribution networks in the distribution network planning under the UEI is analysed. Then, a fuzzy comprehensive method is proposed to calculate the weight of UEI planning. Finally, the planning and research of UEI prospects from the aspects of equipment form, system planning, operation control, business model and collaborative development are discussed.

Distribution network planning is an important task in the process of power grid construction and development. Scientific and rational planning is the key factor for the economic construction and reliable operation of the power grid. Aiming at the difficulty in quantifying the weight of distribution network planning schemes, a comprehensive evaluation method of distribution network planning schemes based on the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy analytic hierarchy process method is proposed. First, a comprehensive evaluation index system is established from the four aspects of power supply, namely reliability, economy, power supply quality and safety of the distribution network. Then, a comprehensive evaluation method of electricity reliability optimised by entropy weight method is adopted by analytic hierarchy process, which considers both subjective situation and objective weighting. At the same time, the comprehensive weight of the aggregation of the criterion layer and the scheme layer is calculated. Finally, the link between the aggregation matrix and the index weights of the criterion layer is used to calculate the weights of the scheme layer so that they can be sorted out. The experimental results show that the effectiveness and feasibility of the planning and analysis indicators and evaluation methods of the method proposed in this paper are verified by a numerical example.

Abstract Circular RNAs (circRNAs) play a role in sepsis-related autophagy. However, the role of circRNAs in autophagy after sepsis-induced cardiomyopathy (SICM) is unknown, so we explored the circRNA expression profiles associated with autophagy in an acute sepsis mouse model. At a dose of 10 mg/kg, mice were intraperitoneally administered with lipopolysaccharides. The myocardial tissue was harvested after 6 h for microarray analysis, qRT-PCR, and western blotting. Gene Ontology, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes and Gene Set Enrichment Analysis were evaluated, and a competing endogenous RNA network was constructed, to evaluate the role of circRNAs related to autophagy in SICM. In total, 1,735 differently expressed circRNAs were identified in the LPS-treated group, including 990 upregulated and 745 downregulated circRNAs. The expression level of the autophagy-specific protein p62 decreased, while the ratio of LC3 II to LC3 I increased. Additionally, 309 mRNAs and 187 circRNAs were correlated with autophagy in myocardial tissue after SICM. Of these, 179 circRNAs were predicted to function as “miRNA sponges”. Some distinctive circRNAs and mRNAs found by ceRNA analysis might be involved in autophagy in SICM. These findings provide insights into circRNAs and identified new research targets that may be used to further explore the pathogenesis of SICM.

Objective To investigate the effects of preoperative pre-rehabilitation on postoperative gastrointestinal function, nutritional indicators, quality of life and adverse reactions in patients with gastric cancer. Methods A total of 66 patients who underwent radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer in the 901st Hospital of Joint Logistics Support Force of the CPLA from November 2019 to March 2022 were selected as the research subjects. The patients were divided into control group (n=35) and study group (n=31) by random number table method. The control group received routine preoperative preparation, and the study group received preoperative pre-rehabilitation. Postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery (first postoperative exhaust time, defecation time and the time to first oral feeding), serum nutritional indicators ［total protein (TP), albumin (Alb), prealbumin (PA) and hemoglobin (Hb)］, postoperative gastrointestinal adverse reactions during enteral nutrition, and the generic quality of life inventory-74 (GQOL-74) scores were compared between two groups.
