With the help of lightweight virtualization technology such as containers, the spaceborne virtualization platform encapsulates computing tasks into containers to form task containers, so as to achieve efficient utilization of resources. However, the platform's task container scheduling problem is a difficult problem that needs to be solved urgently. In this paper, we aim at this problem by establishing a multi-pass scheduling model for separable container tasks based on non-blocking communication mode. On the basis of this model, we propose a new scheduling algorithm, aiming at determining the optimal processor scheduling sequence and scheduling times. The algorithm combines the concept of divisible task container and multi-pass scheduling. By decomposing the task into executable subtasks, and performing task allocation and processor scheduling in multiple scheduling stages, it can optimize the scheduling order to improve the overall processing efficiency. This algorithm is an improved genetic algorithm that adds the optimization strategy of subpopulation isolation to the traditional genetic algorithm. Its core idea is to improve the performance and effect of the genetic algorithm by introducing the population division strategy into the algorithm process. We verify the effectiveness and convergence of the algorithm through experiments, and the experimental results show that the algorithm makes the task have less completion time.

Background: This study investigated the therapeutic effects of Rosa canina L. seed oil (RCSO) on PCOS using an animal model, focusing on evaluating biochemical factors and the Bax/Bcl-2/p53 and Caspase-3 (Cas-3) pathways. Materials and Methods: The PCOS model was created by injecting estradiol valerate into 60 adult Wistar rats, which were assigned to six groups of 10 animals: normal, PCOS, metformin, RCSO, and co-treatment with MET and RCSO groups. After 50 days, the serum levels of testosterone, progesterone, LH, and FSH hormones were measured, along with the activity of catalase, superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase, and nitric oxide. Additionally, ovarian tissues were taken for gene expression analysis of Bax/Bcl-2/p53 and Cas-3 using real-time PCR, as well as protein expression analysis with western blot. Immunohistochemistry was performed to assess the levels of p53 and Ki-67 proteins, indicating the apoptosis of ovarian granulosa cells. Results: RCSO, in synergy with MET, demonstrated reductions in the LH/FSH ratio along with a decrease in progesterone and increased activity of antioxidant enzymes. Additionally, RCSO, along with MET, upregulated the Bax/Bcl-2/p53 and Cas-3 pathways, resulting in increased p53 expression and decreased Ki-67-positive cells, indicative of enhanced apoptosis. Oncolytic viruses combined with immunotherapy offer significant potential in tumor therapy. In this study, we engineered a further attenuated pseudorabies virus (PRV) vaccine strain that incorporates a PD-L1 inhibitor and demonstrated its promise as an oncolytic virus in tumor therapy. We first showed that the naturally attenuated PRV vaccine strain Bartha can efficiently infect tumor cells from multiple species, including humans, mice, and dogs in vitro. We then evaluated the safety and anti-tumor efficacy of this vaccine strain and its different single-gene deletion mutants using the B16-F10 melanoma mouse model. The TK deletion strain emerged as the optimal vector, and we inserted a PD-L1 inhibitor (iPD-L1) into it using CRISPR/Cas9 technology. Compared with the control, the recombinant PRV (rPRV-iPD-L1) exhibited more dramatic anti-tumor effects in the B16-F10 melanoma mouse model. Our study suggests that PRV can be developed not only as an oncolytic virus but also a powerful vector for expressing foreign genes to modulate the tumor microenvironment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Thyroid cancer incidence increases worldwide annually, primarily due to factors such as ionizing radiation (IR), iodine intake, and genetics. Papillary carcinoma of the thyroid (PTC) accounts for about 80% of thyroid cancer cases. RET/PTC1 (coiled‐coil domain containing 6 [CCDC6]‐rearranged during transfection) rearrangement is a distinctive feature in over 70% of thyroid cancers who exposed to low doses of IR in Chernobyl and Hiroshima‒Nagasaki atomic bombings. This study aims to elucidate mechanism between RET/PTC1 rearrangement and IR in PTC. N‐thy‐ori‐3‐1 cells were subjected to varying doses of IR (2/1/0.5/0.2/0.1/0.05 Gy) of IR at different days, and result showed low‐dose IR‐induced RET/PTC1 rearrangement in a dose‐dependent manner. RET/PTC1 has been observed to promote PTC both in vivo and in vitro. To delineate the role of different DNA repair pathways, SCR7, RI‐1, and Olaparib were employed to inhibit non‐homologous end joining (NHEJ), homologous recombination (HR), and microhomology‐mediated end joining (MMEJ), respectively. Notably, inhibiting NHEJ enhanced HR repair efficiency and reduced IR‐induced RET/PTC1 rearrangement. Conversely, inhibiting HR increased NHEJ repair efficiency and subsequent RET/PTC1 rearrangement. The MMEJ did not show a markable role in this progress. Additionally, inhibiting DNA‐dependent protein kinase catalytic subunit (DNA‐PKcs) decreased the efficiency of NHEJ and thus reduced IR‐induced RET/PTC1 rearrangement. To conclude, the data suggest that NHEJ, rather than HR or MMEJ, is the critical cause of IR‐induced RET/PTC1 rearrangement. Targeting DNA‐PKcs to inhibit the NHEJ has emerged as a promising therapeutic strategy for addressing IR‐induced RET/PTC1 rearrangement in PTC. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Developing vanadium-based cathode materials with high-capacity and long-term stability for aqueous zinc ion batteries still remains challenging. Herein, novel hierarchical durian-shaped vanadium trioxide@carbon (V2O3@C) hollow microspheres were prepared using a hydrothermal-carbonization strategy. In situ electrochemically induced phase conversion from V2O3@C to Zn3(OH)2(V2O7)·(H2O)2@C was confirmed during the first charging process via in situ and ex situ characterization techniques. The obtained Zn3(OH)2(V2O7)·(H2O)2@C cathode delivers reversible zinc de-intercalation/intercalation and exhibits a high reversible capacity of 562 mA h g−1 at 0.1 A g−1, superior rate performance and long cycle stability (191.4 mA h g−1 is maintained even after 2000 cycles at 10 A g−1).
