19. A Spatial–Temporal Variational Graph Attention Autoencoder Using Interactive Information for Fault Detection in Complex Industrial Processes

Abstract

Modern industry processes are typically composed of multiple operating units with reaction interaction and energy–mass coupling, which result in a mixed time-varying and spatial–temporal coupling of process variables. It is challenging to develop a comprehensive and precise fault detection model for the multiple interconnected units by simple superposition of the individual unit models. In this study, the fault detection problem is formulated as a spatial–temporal fault detection problem utilizing process data of multiple interconnected unit processes. A spatial–temporal variational graph attention autoencoder (STVGATE) using interactive information is proposed for fault detection, which aims to effectively capture the spatial and temporal features of the interconnected unit processes. First, slow feature analysis (SFA) is implemented to extract temporal information that reveals the dynamic relevance of the process data. Then, an integration method of metric learning and prior knowledge is proposed to construct coupled spatial relationships based on temporal information. In addition, a variational graph attention autoencoder (VGATE) is suggested to extract temporal and spatial information for fault detection, which incorporates the dominances of variational inference and graph attention mechanisms. The proposed method can automatically extract and deeply mine spatial–temporal interactive feature information to boost detection performance. Finally, three industrial process experiments are performed to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method. The results demonstrate that the proposed method dramatically increases the fault detection rate (FDR) and reduces the false alarm rate (FAR).

Abstract

Myelin sheaths wrapping axons are key structures that help maintain the propagation speed of action potentials in both central and peripheral nervous systems (CNS and PNS). However, noninvasive, deep imaging technologies visualizing myelin sheaths in the digital skin in vivo are lacking in animal models. 3-photon fluorescence (3PF) imaging excited at the 1700-nm window enables deep imaging of myelin sheaths, but necessitates labeling by exogenous fluorescent dyes. Since myelin sheaths are lipid-rich structures which generate strong third-harmonic signals, in this paper, we perform a detailed comparative experimental study of both third-harmonic generation (THG) and 3PF imaging in the mouse digital skin in vivo. Our results show that THG imaging also enables visualization of myelin sheaths deep in the mouse digital skin, which shows colocalization with 3PF signals from labeled myelin sheaths. Abstract

Compared with traditional stone cutting technology, the diamond wire saw cutting technology is more efficient, safer and less polluting. Therefore, wire saw technology is more and more widely used in stone mining and other fields. However, the existing wire sawing machine must ensure the tension of the string bead wire at all time during the cutting process. Therefore, after cutting for a period of time, the wire breaking work must be performed, which greatly reduces the engineering efficiency, so this paper introduces a new automatic adjustment device of a diamond wire saw. Firstly, the overall structural design of the diamond wire saw is introduced. Secondly, the mechanical structure and sensing control of the automatic adjusting device of the diamond wire saw are introduced in detail. On the basis of the original wire saw, an adjustable wheel that can be automatically moved is added, and the working pressure of the string bead wire is measured in real time by a pressure sensor, the back and forth movement of the adjusting wheel can be controlled to drive the stretching of the string bead wire, thereby realizing the automatic tensioning of the string bead wire; Finally, working parameters of the wire saw are transmitted by Bluetooth or other wireless communications to achieve remote control operation of the wire saw. Through the innovative and optimized design of the automatic adjustment system for string bead wires of the wire saw, it provides a good reference for the high-efficiency, low-cost and environmentally-friendly quarrying technology.

39. Investigation of tube hydroforming along with stamping of thin-walled tubes in square cross-section dies.

Abstract

In this article, tube hydroforming along with stamping, a compound forming technology of thin-walled tube using stamping and hydroforming processes, was presented to cut forming costs, reduce number of forming and assembly operations, and improve forming efficiency. A simple experimental tooling was designed and manufactured. Forming experiments of stamping and tube hydroforming along with stamping processes in two square cross-section dies were performed for SS304 tubes at different upper die velocities. The experimental results indicated that the better formability and the more uniform thickness distribution are obtained by the tube hydroforming along with stamping processes than by the stamping. 45. The Impact of Family Dynamics, Lifestyle, and Food Intolerance on ADHD in Children.

Abstract

Objective: This study analyzes the relationship between ADHD, family relationships, lifestyle, and food intolerance., Methods: This study consisted of 240 children who received treatment at the researchers' hospital from January 2022 to November 2022. Out of these, 120 children belonged to the ADHD group, while the remaining 120 children were part of the healthy control group. The researchers compared these two groups of children on factors such as family relationships, lifestyle, and food intolerance., Results: The general data of the two groups were not statistically significant but comparable (P > .05); family relationships, lifestyle, and food intolerance all affected children with ADHD (P < .01)., Conclusion: In the investigation of children with ADHD compared to healthy children, the influence of family relationships, lifestyle, and food intolerance can all cause ADHD.
