Abstract

Intelligent acquisition terminal is an important medium for power users to collect electric energy data and load data. It realizes centralized collection of electricity information through local and remote communication technology. With the continuous development of communication technology, the acquisition terminal is becoming more and more intelligent and its functions are becoming more and more complex. The content of field equipment fault diagnosis analysis technology is getting higher and higher. This paper combines with the current intelligent acquisition terminal fault diagnosis mode to optimize the research, from the technical and management aspects, makes an analysis of the causes of acquisition anomalies and the lack of means, and puts forward reasonable efficiency improvement suggestions.

Abstract

Abstract Mobile IP is one of the dominating protocols that enable a mobile node to remain reachable while moving around in the Internet. However, it suffers from long handoff latency and route inefficiency. In this article, we present a novel distributed mobility management architecture, ADA (Asymmetric Double-Agents), which introduces double mobility agents to serve one end-to-end communication. One mobility agent is located close to the MN and the other close to the CN. ADA can achieve both low handoff latency and low transmission latency, which is crucial for improvement of user perceived QoS. It also provides an easy-to-use mechanism for MNs to manage and control each traffic session with a different policy and provide specific QoS support. We apply ADA to MIPv6 communications and present a detailed protocol design. Subsequently, we propose an analytical framework for systematic and thorough performance evaluation of mobile IP-based mobility management protocols. Equipped with this model, we analyze the handoff latency, single interaction delay and total time cost under the bidirectional tunneling mode and the route optimization mode for MIPv6, HMIPv6, CNLP, and ADA. Through both quantitative analysis and NS2-based simulations, we show that ADA significantly outperforms the existing mobility management protocols.

42. SkyOrbs: A Fast 3-D Directional Neighbor Discovery Algorithm for UAV Networks

Abstract

Neighbor discovery (ND) is a critical network initialization stage, particularly challenging for highly-dynamic unmanned aerial vehicle (UAVs) with directional antennas. Considering that directional antennas focus signal energy in one direction, successful ND requires a pair of UAVs to point antennas towards each other simultaneously. However, due to the inherent constraints of autonomous UAVs (e.g., high mobility and decentralized coordination), spatial alignment of directional beams is difficult. Existing works resort to ideal assumptions (e.g., clock synchronization, assistance of omni-directional antennas and prior information) for simplification. Moreover, previous ND algorithms assume unlimited switching capability for directional antennas, often unrealistic for traditional mechanically steered antennas. In this paper, we propose SkyOrbs, a fast directional ND algorithm for UAV networks without these ideal assumptions. To reduce ND latency, SkyOrbs presents a skip scanning strategy, dynamically adjusting antenna rotation speed to enhance discovery probability. Furthermore, to mitigate the uncertain rotation overhead induced by time-variant angular speed, SkyOrbs designs a novel antenna scanning path that accommodates limited mechanical rotation capacity. We analyze the theoretical delay performance of SkyOrbs, and expand its applicability to broader scenarios. Evaluation results show that SkyOrbs can reduce discovery latency by 40.8% and rotation overhead by 55.0% compared to the baseline method.

Abstract

As a promising architectural design for future Internet, named data networking (NDN) relies on in-network caching to efficiently deliver name-based content. However, the in-network caching is vulnerable to cache pollution attacks (CPA), which can reduce cache hits by violating cache locality and significantly degrade the overall performance of NDN. To defend against CPA attacks, the most effective way is to first detect the attacks and then throttle them. Since the CPA attack itself has already imposed a huge burden on victims, to avoid exhausting the remaining resources on the victims for detection purpose, we expect a lightweight detection solution. We thus propose ELDA, an Efficient and Lightweight Detection scheme against cache pollution Attacks, in which we design a Lightweight Flajolet-Martin (LFM) sketch to monitor the interest traffic. Abstract

In order to find out the difference of pore characteristics of medium rank coal with different degrees of destruction, the low temperature liquid nitrogen method was used to test coal samples with different degrees of destruction in Pingdingshan No.4 mine, and the difference of pore structure, distribution, fractal characteristics and adsorption performance were obtained by comparative analysis. The results showed that the adsorption equilibrium isotherm of cataclastic coal and fragmented coal were type III, and the macropores were developed. Mylonite coal was type IV with high mesoporous content. The greater the degree of coal destruction is, the greater the total pore volume and specific surface area is, the more complex the internal pore structure is, and the greater the nitrogen adsorption capacity is. The nitrogen adsorption capacity of 2-4 nm pores was mainly controlled by the specific surface area, while the pore diameter of more than 4 nm was mainly controlled by the pore volume.
