Abstract Background Tourniquets are widely used in limb fracture surgeries. Controversies still exist about the pressure inflated, including unified tourniquet inflation pressure (UTIP) and personalized tourniquet inflation pressure (PTIP). This study evaluated the hemostatic effect between UTIP and PTIP based on systolic blood pressure (SBP) in extremity fracture patients. Materials and methods Patients with fresh extremity fractures requiring tourniquets during surgeries were prospectively enrolled and randomly assigned to the UTIP and PTIP groups. The inflation pressure was set to 250 mmHg for the upper extremities and 300 mmHg for the lower extremities in the UTIP group and SBP plus 50 mmHg for the upper extremities and SBP plus 100 mmHg for the lower extremities in the PTIP group. The primary outcome was a hemostatic effect evaluated by the surgeon (satisfied or dissatisfied). Other secondary outcomes included postoperative changes in limb swelling and tourniquet-related complications. Results A total of 144 patients were enrolled and randomly assigned to the UTIP group or the PTIP group, and each group has 72 patients (36 upper limb and 36 lower limb). Totally, the hemostasis effect of the PTIP group was worse than that of the UTIP group by non-inferiority test. The hemostatic effect of upper limb fractures with SBP plus 50 mmHg for tourniquet inflation pressure was also worse than that with 250mmHg; however, there was no statistically significant difference between 300mmHg and SBP plus 100 mmHg in the lower limb group hemostasis effect due to a lack of power. Also, no difference was observed in the incidence of complications (p = 1.000) and postoperative changes in limb swelling during 2 days after surgery (upper limb: P1 = 0.546, P2 = 0.545; lower limb: P1 = 0.408, P2 = 0.857) between the PTIP and UTIP group. Conclusion In the surgery of limb fractures, setting SBP + 50mmHg as tourniquet pressure may not be sufficient for upper limbs. Also, we found no difference between the SBP + 100mmHg and the unified 300mmHg for lower limb surgeries.

Wind farm clusters can enhance their operational profitability while supporting grid frequency regulation by participating in frequency regulation markets through the leasing of energy storage. To achieve this， a game-theoretic optimization bidding model is proposed for leasing energy storage of wind farm clusters， considering frequency regulation performance indicator assessment. The model consists of two layers： the upper layer models the bidding process in the frequency regulation market with multiple participants， while the lower layer models a leader-follower game between energy storage lessors and wind farm clusters regarding leasing price and capacity. In this game， the energy storage operator acts as the leader， setting the leasing price in response to the leasing plan of wind farm clusters， and the wind farm clusters， as the follower， adjust the leasing plan according to the price. Additionally， an evolutionary threshold public goods game model is embedded within the wind farm clusters to address the cooperation dilemma caused by selfish behavior among individual members. By united solution of the model， the bidding strategy for leasing energy storage capacity and participating in the frequency regulation market is obtained. The case study results demonstrate that the proposed strategy effectively resolves the cooperation dilemma and enhances the overall profitability of the wind farm clusters.

Abstract Dementia is characterized by a progressive decline in cognition, behavioral and psychological symptoms (BPSD), and quality of life (QoL). The lack of curative therapies has led to a psychosocial discourse prioritizing QoL of people thriving with dementia (PTD). Group reminiscence therapy (RT) is a relatively inexpensive intervention, with music prompts being a preferred choice, owing to robust musical memory in the early disease stage. However, a synthesis of current evidence is needed to inform research and clinical use of group music RT in dementia care. Therefore, we conducted a systematic review on PubMed, Scopus, CINAHL, APA PsycInfo, and APA PsycArticles to critically appraise published randomized controlled trials examining group music RT to improve cognition, BPSD, and QoL in PTD. Of 14,725 articles, two RCTs involving 102 PTD were included. All studies used prerecorded music for group music RT. All studies were deemed of good quality, adhering to intention‐to‐treat analysis and assessor blinding. Based on the American Academy of Neurology guidelines, we assigned a Level C recommendation for group music RT for cognition and Level B recommendations for BPSD and QoL (ineffective). In conclusion, group music RT may be useful for symptomatic management in PTD. However, heterogeneous study designs, disease severity, dementia subtype, and outcome measures are likely barriers to meaningful clinical translation. Therefore, the rating of recommendations only serves as a point of reference. Future avenues include live performances as prompts for group music RT.

Graphene-based metamaterial sensors are of significant research value for detecting food preservatives at low concentrations due to their extremely high sensitivity levels. In this work, we proposed and experimentally demonstrated an anapole resonance-based graphene metasurface (An-graphene-Ms) sensor with its conductivity altered by electrostatic doping effects for detecting and differentiating between two preservatives, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate, in the terahertz region. Sodium benzoate, owing to its benzene ring structure, established π–π stacking interactions between the π-electrons in the benzene ring and those in graphene, amplifying the sensing effect. The amplitude changes and phase differences of the An-graphene-Ms sensor for the sodium benzoate detection were greater than those for potassium sorbate at the same concentration. Additionally, to reveal the dependence of the resonance frequency on the time delay, the measured signals were investigated using the continuous wavelet transform (CWT), and the time-frequency combination of the metasurface sensor was performed. The 2D wavelet coefficient intensity cards are effectively constructed through CWT, which also presents a more accurate approach for distinguishing and determining the concentrations of the two preservatives.

With an emphasis on the combined degradation of railway track geometry and components, a new numerical-analytical method is proposed for predicting the track geometrical vertical levelling loss (VLL). In contrast to previous studies, this research unprecedentedly considers the influence of initial track irregularities (ITI) on VLL under cyclic loadings, elastic-plastic behaviour, and different operational dynamic conditions. The non-linear numerical models are simulated using an explicit finite element package known as LS-Dyna, and their results are validated by full-scale experimental and field measurement data. The outcomes are iteratively regressed by an analytical logarithmic function that cumulates permanent settlements, which innovatively extends the effect of ITI on VLL in a long-term behaviour. For a typical heavy-haul railway operating under 30 tons axle load and 60 km/h train velocity, the result indicates that the set of ITI with the highest standard deviation (SD) of vertical profile (VP) degrades faster (37% on average) than that with the lowest SD. Additionally, our new findings reveal that the worst scenario is related to a train running at 60 km/h and carrying a load of 20 tons/axle in an uneven track whose SD of VP evolves from 3.23 mm at N = 0 (ITI) to 7.20 mm, whereas the best one corresponds to a train at 60 km/h and 30 ton axle load in an uneven track whose SD of VP downgrades from 0.48 to 1.50 mm, both at 3 M cycles (or 60 million gross tons). These findings indicate the importance of considering the ITI for predicting track geometrical VLL under cyclic loadings. Therefore, based on this research, an acceptable condition (thresholds) of ITI can be redefined for a minimum effect on VLL, which can support the development of practical maintenance guidelines to extend the railway track service life.

Objective To investigate the effect and mechanism of recombinant human CC16 protein (rhCC16) on cigarette smoke extract (CSE)-induced senescence of human bronchial epithelial cells (HBECs). Methods CCK-8 assay was used to evaluate the cell viability in HBECs after treated with 0%, 1%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5% and 10% CSE and/or 0, 10, 100, 250 and 500 ng/mL rhCC16.β-galactosidase staining was used to observe the activity of the enzyme in control, CSE, and CSE+rhCC16 treated HBECs.The mRNA levels of P16 and P21 in above cell groups were detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (qPCR), and the protein levels of P16, P21, p-P53, P38, p-P38, ERK1/2 and p-ERK1/2 were detected with Western blot in control group, CSE and CSE+rhCC16 groups. Results Compared with the control group, 5% CSE stimulation for 72 h or the treatment of 500 ng/mL or lower dose of rhCC16 had no significant effect on cell viability of HBECs.Stimulation 5% CSE for 72 h resulted in significantly higher positive rate to β-galactosidase staining (P < 0.05), elevated mRNA and protein levels of P16 and P21(P < 0.05), and enhanced protein levels of p-P53, p-P38 and p-ERK1/2(P < 0.05) when compared with the control group.Compared with the simple CSE stimulation, 250 ng/mL rhCC16 treatment decreased positive rate to β-galactosidase staining (P < 0.05), reduced mRNA and protein levels of P16 and P21(P < 0.05) and protein levels of p-P53, p-P38 and p-ERK1/2(P < 0.05). Conclusion rhCC16 inhibits CSE-induced cellular senescence of HBECs, which may due to its suppression in P38 MAPK and ERK1/2 signaling pathway.

The aim of this research is to explore the application value of Deep residual network model (DRN) for deep learning-based multi-sequence magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the staging diagnosis of cervical cancer (CC). This research included 90 patients diagnosed with CC between August 2019 and May 2021 at the hospital. After undergoing MRI examination, the clinical staging and surgical pathological staging of patients were conducted. The research then evaluated the results of clinical staging and MRI staging to assess their diagnostic accuracy and correlation. In the staging diagnosis of CC, the feature enhancement layer was added to the DRN model, and the MRI imaging features of CC were used to enhance the image information. The precision, specificity, and sensitivity of the constructed model were analyzed, and then the accuracy of clinical diagnosis staging and MRI staging were compared. As the model constructed DRN in this research was compared with convolutional neural network (CNN) and the classic deep neural network visual geometry group (VGG), the precision was 67.7, 84.9, and 93.6%, respectively. The sensitivity was 70.4, 82.5, and 91.2%, while the specificity was 68.5, 83.8, and 92.2%, respectively. The precision, sensitivity, and specificity of the model were remarkably higher than those of CNN and VGG models (P < 0.05). As the clinical staging and MRI staging of CC were compared, the diagnostic accuracy of MRI was 100%, while that of clinical diagnosis was 83.7%, showing a significant difference between them (P < 0.05). Multi-sequence MRI under intelligent algorithm had a high diagnostic rate for CC staging, deserving a good clinical application value.

Background Competency development is the core of residency training in general practice, as well as the key to training qualified general practitioners. Summative assessment can evaluate overall training outcome and the attainment of general practitioner competencies. Summative assessment in general practice is still in developing in China, and its relevance to competencies is relatively weak. Objective To develop competency based summative assessment indicator framework of residency training in general practice, and to provide reference for improving the summative assessment system in China. Methods From 2023-04-25 to 30, 32 experts from 10 provinces, including Beijing, Shanghai, Hebei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Hainan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Sichuan Province were invited to participate in Delphi Expert Survey. The indicator framework of summative assessment was established through literature review and Delphi expert survey. The weight of indicators was determined by multiplicative model. Results In both the first and second rounds of expert survey, 32 questionnaires were issued and 32 were recovered, which were all valid. The positive coefficient was 100.0%, the authority coefficient was > 0.8, the importance coordination coefficient of indicators at all levels respectively was 0.382, 0.284, 0.265, and the feasibility coordination coefficient was 0.415, 0.359, 0.332. The final summative assessment indicator framework consisted of 6 first-tier indicators, 24 second-tier indicators and 50 third-tier indicators. The first-tier indicators include application of clinical professional knowledge and skills, the ability to take care of the family, the ability to provide basic public health services, the ability to communicate, cooperate and coordinate, humanistic ability and professionalism, clinical teaching and scientific research ability, and the weights were 0.505, 0.061, 0.109, 0.134, 0.125 and 0.066, respectively. Conclusion This study preliminarily explored and constructed competency based summative assessment indicator framework of residency training in general practice, which provides reference for further research on the contents of summative assessment and on the improvement of summative assessment system in China. The framework is important for improving the quality of residency training and competencies of general practitioners.

Abstract Prodrugs have been explored as an alternative to conventional chemotherapy; however, their target specificity remains limited. The tumor microenvironment harbors a range of microorganisms that potentially serve as tumor-targeting vectors for delivering prodrugs. In this study, we harness bacteria-cancer interactions native to the tumor microbiome to achieve high target specificity for prodrug delivery. We identify an oral commensal strain of Lactobacillus plantarum with an intrinsic cancer-binding mechanism and engineer the strain to enable the surface loading of anticancer prodrugs, with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) as a model cancer. The engineered commensals show specific binding to NPC via OppA-mediated recognition of surface heparan sulfate, and the loaded prodrugs are activated by tumor-associated biosignals to release SN-38, a chemotherapy compound, near NPC. In vitro experiments demonstrate that the prodrug-loaded microbes significantly increase the potency of SN-38 against NPC cell lines, up to 10-fold. In a mouse xenograft model, intravenous injection of the engineered L. plantarum leads to bacterial colonization in NPC tumors and a 67% inhibition in tumor growth, enhancing the efficacy of SN-38 by 54%.

The pathogenesis of ulcerative colitis (UC) involves chronic inflammation of the submucosal layer and disruption of epithelial barrier function within the gastrointestinal tract. Connexin 43 (Cx43) has been implicated in the pathogenesis of intestinal inflammation and its associated carcinogenic effects. However, a comprehensive analysis of Cx43’s role in mucosal and peripheral immunity in patients with UC is lacking. In this study, the colon tissues of patients with UC exhibited severe damage to the intestinal mucosal barrier, resulting in a significant impairment of junctional communication as observed by transmission electron microscopy. The mRNA expression of Cx43 was found to be significantly elevated in the UC group compared to the control group, as determined using the Affymetrix expression profile chip and subsequently validated using qRT-PCR. The immunofluorescence analysis revealed a significantly higher mean fluorescence intensity of Cx43 in the UC group compared to the control group. Additionally, Cx43 was observed in both the cell membrane and nucleus, providing clear evidence of nuclear translocation. The proportion of Cx43 in the UC group for CD4+ and CD8+ T lymphocytes was increased in the control group, but only the proportion of Cx43 for CD8+ T lymphocytes showed significant difference by flow cytometry. The involvement of Cx43 in the pathogenesis of UC and its potential role in mucosal immunity warrants further investigation, as it holds promise as a prospective biomarker and therapeutic target for this condition. The proportion of Cx43 in the UC group for CD4+ and CD8+ T lymphocytes was increased in the control group, but only the proportion of Cx43 for CD8+ T lymphocytes showed a significant difference.

The application of implantable venous access port (IVAP) in cancer patients is becoming increasingly common. The complications of the IVAP include infection, blockage, thrombosis, catheter dysfunction, etc. Poor nursing of the infusion port leads to the highest incidence of related infections, high costs, and serious consequences for patients. This paper summarized the risk factors related to the IVAP in perspectives of catheter, patient, disease and medical staff, and provided reference for clinical prevention of related complications. As the flexibility needs of new power systems with a high share of new energy sources increase, it is important to develop a flexibility resource market operation mechanism to balance the volatility and uncertainty of large-scale new energy output in real time. To this end, a wind-photovoltaic-thermal-hydrogen coordinated planning method based on a demand proportional allocation mechanism (DPAM) is proposed in the paper. Firstly, a three-phase coordinated operation strategy for wind and photovoltaic systems with hydrogen storage is formulated. Inter-station power trading between wind and photovoltaic based on DPAM coordinates the revenues and expenditures of wind and photovoltaic stations. Thermal power and hydrogen storage systems are used to provide operational flexibility, and a fixed-profit-proportional model is used to ensure the stability of hydrogen storage system revenues. Then, integrating the investment decision and operation simulation, power trading costs and flexibility resource regulation costs are incorporated in the optimization objective. A multi-timescale coordinated planning model with wind serving as the primary power source and thermal power and hydrogen storage as the auxiliary power sources is established. Finally, a provincial grid in northeast China is used as an example for analysis. The results show that the proposed methodology can be used for power planning in an economical and environmentally friendly way, reducing flexibility resource requirements and investment costs while incrersing the power utilization of wind and photovoltaic stations.

Objective To understand the experience and problems of nurses participating in new media health science popularization. Methods Using the qualitative research method of phenomenology, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 14 nurses who participated in the production and promotion of new media health science popularization. Results The real experience of nurses participating in new media health science popularization included 4 themes and 13 sub-themes. The 4 themes included: the improvement of nurses' sense of professional value; the improvement of nurses' new media health science popularization ability; the difficulties of nurses in new media health science popularization; perception Patients have complex science needs. Conclusion Nurses had benefited experience and encountered some difficulties in participating in new media health science popularization. Managers should integrate resources, improve the support system, encourage nurses to participate in new media health science popularization, enhance their sense of professional value and comprehensive ability, and build satisfaction High-quality new media health science popularization works with complex needs of patients. The development of probiotic products has attracted more and more attention. Products made from goat milk powder and probiotics can combine nutrition and health care functions. In this paper, the effects of different sugars, alcohols and antioxidants on the preparation goat milk tablets containing Bifidobacterium bifidum BB01 were studied by single factor experiment. The results showed that the appropriate addition of sugars, alcohols and antioxidants were as follows: sucrose 5 %, glucose 1.5 %, xylitol 3 %, ascorbic acid 0.03 %, D-sodium ascorbate 0.09 %, sodium ascorbate 0.03 %, microcrystalline cellulose 0.5 %, D-mannitol 0.1 %. According to the formulation, goat milk tablets with high Bifidobacterium activity were developed, and had appropriate hardness, friability and good sensory quality.

In order to effectively reduce the damage of short-circuit electromagnetic force to cables and cleats, and scientifically and reasonably determine the loop spacing of cables, this paper adopts electromagnetic coupling finite element method to calculate and analyze the short-circuit electromagnetic force of high-voltage large-section cables. The finite element model of three-phase short-circuit electromagnetic coupling for single-loop and double-loop cables in flat formation and trefoil formation is established, and the changes of short-circuit electromagnetic force in time and space are calculated and analyzed. The equation that the maximum value of three-phase short-circuit electromagnetic force varies with the distance between two circuits is obtained. The results show that the short-circuit electromagnetic force of double-loop cables satisfies a specific functional relationship with the loop spacing, and there is an inflection point of the change slope of electromagnetic force, which can be used to determine the loop spacing. This study can provide theoretical and technical support for the theoretical research of cable short-circuit electromagnetic force and engineering design or construction.

Fermented dairy products undergo structural and textural changes during fermentation， resulting in the production of unique nutrients. Therefore， they have special flavors and nutritional characteristics， offering health benefits for middle-aged and older adults， based on relevant evidence from global cohort studies. This article reviews evidence from global long-term follow-up cohort studies investigating the associations between fermented dairy products intake and overweight/obesity， cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases， prediabetes and diabetes， cognition， and tumorigenesis. Additionally， this review explores the potential mechanisms for these associations.

ObjectiveTo investigate a mushroom poisoning incident in Meizhou City， Guangdong Province in 2022， and provide a scientific basis for the prevention and control measures.MethodsEpidemiological investigations were carried out on the causes of poisoning， and suspected poisonous mushroom samples were collected for identification， and toxin contents of the mushroom， blood and urine samples were determined.ResultsIn this mushroom poisoning incident， 4 people developed poisoning symptoms after eating wild mushrooms. After treatment， all patients were cured. The mushroom sample was identified as Amanita exitialis. The content of α-amanitin toxin detected in the remaining suspicious samples collected mushroom soup， boiled fruiting bodies， uncooked mushroom residual tissues， and no blood and urine samples were detected α- amanitin.ConclusionThis poisoning incident is caused by Amanita exitialis. The local villagers have weak awareness of food safety. It is necessary to strengthen the popularization of wild mushroom knowledge， establish a rapid detection technology system for mushroom poisoning， and reduce the occurrence of mushroom poisoning and death incidents.

Background : The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic curtailed transplant activities worldwide, driven by concerns about increased COVID-19-related mortality among kidney transplant recipients (KTRs), infections originating from donors, and decreased availability of surgical and intensive care resources as healthcare resources are reallocated for pandemic response. We examined the outcomes of KTRs at our center before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods : We conducted a retrospective single-center cohort study examining the characteristics and outcomes of patients undergoing kidney transplantation during two periods: January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2019 (pre-COVID-19 era) and January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2022 (COVID-19 era). We reviewed perioperative and COVID-19 infection-related outcomes in both groups. Results : A total of 114 transplants were performed during the pre-COVID-19 era, while 74 transplants were conducted during the COVID-19 era. No differences in baseline demographics were observed. Additionally, there were no significant differences in perioperative outcomes, except for a longer cold ischemia time during the COVID-19 era. However, this did not result in an increased incidence of delayed graft function. Among the KTRs infected with COVID-19 during the pandemic era, no severe complications such as pneumonia, acute kidney injury, or death were reported. Conclusions: With the global transition to an endemic phase of COVID-19, it is imperative to revitalize organ transplant activities. Effective containment workflow, good vaccination uptake, and prompt COVID-19 treatment are essential to ensure that transplants can proceed safely.

TBM hob wear is an important factor that affects the TBM tunneling efficiency and construction cost.Different blade types differ in rock breaking efficiency and wear.By analyzing the rock-breaking mechanism of the arc blade wedged hob, this study established the calculation model of hob normal cutting, and analyzed the influence of hob edge angle on normal cutting force.This study then designed three kinds of hobs with different cutter spacing and three types of hobs with different blade for rock breaking tests in laboratory.Results show that the reasonable cutter spacing is 15mm, sharp blade is prone to be worn, the tooth-like blade, which has higher rock breaking efficiency and wear resistance, is better than arc blade.Combined with the actual situation of the project site, a new hob with wedge-shaped blade is developed, which are applied to inclined shaft TBM tunneling at engineering site.Results show that the wear rate of the new wedge-shaped hob is 20 % less than that of the conventional ones, and the service life of former is longer than that of latter.Under the same geological conditions, new wedge-shaped hob can reduce the number of hobs consumption and improve efficiency of tunnelling.The development and application of the new type successfully solved the problems of hob wear and frequent replacement of hobs in the TBM inclined shaft excavation.It can provide technical support for TBM long distance inclined shaft driving, which not only shortened the construction period, but also saved the construction cost.

Background:. This preclinical study evaluated benchtop/in vitro properties and fat viability and activity of grafts processed using the REVOLVE ENVI 600 system compared with decantation and evaluated properties of REVOLVE ENVI waste. Methods:. Lipoaspirate from six donors was processed using REVOLVE ENVI or decantation. The composition of each graft, hematocrit/red blood cell content, fat particle size/macrostructure, viable adipocyte count, and adipocyte activity were analyzed. Stromal vascular fraction was analyzed for viable progenitor cell count and colony-forming units. Results:. Industry-university-research cooperation has become one of the indispensable and important innovation modes in the construction of today’s innovation system. The article collects the enterprise information system from 2014 to 2021, screens 49 companies that have participated in industry-university-research cooperation as the research object and put forward hypotheses, measures the innovation quality by the number of large groups number and the number of small groups number based on IPC classification number, and measures the level of internal research and development by the two methods of the percentage of R&D investment and the percentage of scientific researchers to carry out empirical evidence to test the impact of the level of industry-university-research cooperation on the quality of innovation of the enterprise. The emergence of a new industrial form, online education, has opened up an efficient and convenient learning channel for people. In this paper, the basic process and algorithmic ideas of the migratory bird algorithm are investigated, and the optimization is carried out by using a simulated annealing method for its problem of finding the optimal global solution too slowly, adding the inner loop of SA at each generation of particle swarm update, and improving the fitness value function and update criterion of each particle in the particle swarm based on the outer loop. Then, the online education model of this paper is designed based on the SA-PSO algorithm. For the evaluation of interaction quality, this model obtains a comprehensive evaluation index of 0.856, which is 10.24% higher than New Oriental and 18.65% higher than NetEase Cloud Classroom. In terms of service quality, the overall evaluation index of this model is 8.73% higher than that of New Oriental and 20.35% higher than NetEase Cloud Classrooms. In terms of system quality, the overall evaluation index of this model is 4.31% higher than that of New Oriental and 18.69% higher than NetEase Cloud Classrooms. This study proposes rationalized improvement strategies for the limitations of the existing online education model, and the model based on the SA-PSO algorithm helps to promote the quality of online education.

Compared with traditional radio frequency communication, visible light has rich spectrum resources and high security. The multi-channel visible light communication system designed in this paper is divided into transmitter and receiver. Based on Verilog HDL language, the channel distribution module, transparent framing module, channel code block segmentation module at the transmitter, transparent framing module and channel merging module at the receiver are designed in detail, and a multi-channel visible light communication system that supports 16 channels of data at the same time is realized. In order to meet the demand of the high-speed communication of the system, the transmitter / receiver circuit of visible light communication is designed and optimized, and the pre emphasis circuit is used at the transmitter to effectively compensate the channel loss. In the receiver, a T-shaped amplification circuit composed of resistance and capacitance is used to compensate the attenuated signal. Finally, the test is carried out on the experimental platform. The results show that the transmission error rate of the multi-channel visible light communication system designed in this paper is not greater than 10-9, and the single channel transmission rate is not less than 30 Mb/s. This research is conducive to improving the reliability and high speed of the visible light communication system.

BACKGROUND The emerald is loved by people because of its gorgeous color and is respected as one of the world's four major gems. Due to the high value of emeralds, a variety of synthesis and optimization methods have emerged. The hydrothermal method is one of the common methods to produce synthetic emeralds. The emeralds synthesized by this method have typical water ripple texture, showing a serrated parallel arrangement, and the characteristic peaks of the infrared absorption spectrum in the range of 2300-3100cm-1 are the main identification feature. However, some emeralds synthesized by this method do not have the above typical characteristics. This has brought a great challenge to the quality inspection agencies, and brought many doubts to the majority of consumers, and affected the stability of the gem market. OBJECTIVES It is essential to study the new emerald synthesized by this new hydrothermal method. The refractive index, density, polychromatism, and infrared absorption spectrum characteristics of the tested samples are very similar to those of natural emeralds, so infrared absorption spectrum analysis cannot obtain the supporting evidence of its cause. Based on this, the gemological and spectral characteristics of the test samples were studied by ultraviolet visible spectrum, energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (EDXRF) and other spectroscopic means. Finally, the test samples were determined to be a new kind of emerald synthesized by the hydrothermal method. METHODS The refractive index, birefringence, relative density, polychromaticity and weight of the samples were tested by refractometer, electronic balance, and dichroic mirror. The internal and external characteristics of the test samples, the cutting and polishing quality of the samples, and the characteristics of internal inclusions were observed by gem microscope. The infrared reflection spectrum and infrared transmission spectrum characteristics of the samples were analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer and compared with the infrared spectrum characteristics of emeralds from different origins. The absorption spectrum characteristics of the samples were analyzed by ultraviolet-visible spectrometer, focusing on the absorption peak characteristics near 830nm. The element characteristics of the samples were tested by EDXRF, because the content characteristics of Cr and Ni in emerald are the key to identify whether it is natural or not. RESULTS The mass of the tested samples was 0.17-0.56g, the refractive index was 1.571-1.588, the birefringence was 0.007-0.009, the relative density was 2.56-2.78, and the polychromaticity was obviously blue-green/green. These conventional gemological characteristics were consistent with natural emeralds. The samples were observed under a gemstone microscope, and the samples had a parallel texture of suspected water ripple, but not typical. The water ripple texture of the typical hydrothermal synthetic emeralds was serrated parallel arrangement. However, the characteristics under the gem microscope should arouse the suspicion of jewelry inspectors.The infrared reflectance spectra of the samples had characteristic peaks of 1242, 1219, 1022, 968, 810, 741, 687, 594, 528, 490, and 459cm-1. The characteristic peaks of 1242, 1219, 1022, 968, 810, 741, and 687cm-1 were caused by the stretching vibration of Si—O—Si and O—Si—O, and the characteristic peaks of 594, 528, 490, and 459cm-1 were caused by the bending vibration of Si—O and the vibration of M—O. The infrared reflection spectrum characteristics of the samples were consistent with the infrared spectrum characteristics of beryl, but the infrared spectrum characteristics of the fingerprint area could not indicate whether the samples were natural or synthetic.The infrared transmission spectra of the samples had 5445, 5273, 5109, 4874, 4800, 4650, 4547, 3321, 3222, 3027, 2953, 2928, and 2431cm-1 characteristic peaks. 5273cm-1 was caused by typeⅡ water absorption, 5445cm-1 and 5109cm-1 were caused by typeⅠ water absorption. The typeⅡ water absorption peak of the test samples was relatively sharp at 5273cm-1, and the typeⅠ water absorption peaks at 5445cm-1 and 5109cm-1 were relatively strong. Compared with previous studies, the shape and intensity of water absorption peaks of natural emerald and hydrothermally synthesized emerald were different. The infrared absorption spectrum characteristics of the water of the test sample were different from those of natural emerald, but the diagnostic direct evidence could not be obtained from the infrared absorption spectrum. The infrared peak in the range of 2300-3100cm-1 is caused by Cl- ion absorption. According to the results of previous studies, the absorption intensity of hydrothermal synthetic emeralds in this wavenumber range was significantly stronger than that of natural emeralds. The infrared absorption spectra of the test samples were relatively weak in the range of 2300-3100cm-1, which was more similar to the infrared absorption spectrum characteristics of natural emeralds in Colombia, Yunnan, Madagascar and Brazil, and was obviously different from the infrared absorption spectrum results of emeralds synthesized by the hydrothermal method. There were obvious differences between the infrared transmission absorption spectra of the traditional hydrothermal synthetic emeralds and natural emeralds. The characteristics of infrared absorption spectra are important evidence for identifying the genesis of emeralds. However, it is difficult to obtain the final accurate conclusion from the infrared absorption spectrum analysis of the test samples described in this paper, so they have been named 'new' type.The UV-Visible spectrum characteristics of the test samples showed that the absorption peak below 350nm was caused by the Fe2+-O2- charge transfer band in emerald, the absorption peak at 429nm was caused by Cr3+ ions, the broad absorption band at 550-650nm was mainly caused by Cr3+ ions, the absorption peak at 683nm was caused by Cr3+ ions, the sharp absorption peak at 956nm was caused by water absorption, and the broad absorption peak near 850nm should be caused by Fe2+ absorption, which was rarely seen in the previous hydrothermal synthesis of emerald. The combination of Cr3+ and Fe3+ replacing Al3+ makes emerald, green. The absorption peak of UV-Visible spectrum caused by Fe2+ in natural emerald was in the range of 810-850nm, and only a few of the absorption bands caused by Fe2+ in natural emeralds are not obvious. The absorption band of the UV-Visible spectra of the test samples was not obvious or weak in the range of 810-850nm, and the 850nm absorption peak of individual samples was obvious. Therefore, the emeralds examined by ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy may be synthetic, but this could not be conclusively confirmed.The EDXRF results showed that the samples had Fe, Ni and Cr elements, which was different from previous studies of natural emeralds. Yang Zhuo(2010) studies showed that the main trace elements in natural emeralds, from different origins such as Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, India, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Canada by LA-ICP-MS, were Fe, V, Cr, Mg, Na and Cs, but the content of Ni was very low, far lower than that of Cr. The content of Cr in Yunnan emeralds was 58-177μg/g, and Ni was not detected (Bai et al., 2019). The chemical element characteristics of gem-grade emeralds in Afghanistan, Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Russia, Zambia and Zimbabwe showed that Ni element was not detected (Karampelas et al., 2019). The elemental composition of emeralds from South Africa, Afghanistan, Australia, Colombia, Egypt, Madagascar, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania and China was analyzed by electron probe microanalysis, and Ni was not detected (Lum et al., 2016). It could be seen that Cr and Fe elements coexisted in natural emeralds, but Ni was almost non-existent. EDXRF was used in this study without quantitative analysis but calibrated by the gold standard sample, and the relative peak intensity of the element was of great significance. The peak intensity of the Ni element in the test sample was much higher than that of the Cr element, which did not conform to the element content characteristics of the natural emerald, and was consistent with the high content of Ni in the hydrothermal synthesis of emerald reported by Lu and Shen (2021) and Yang et al.(2022). The comprehensive analysis showed that the test sample was a synthetic emerald. CONCLUSIONS The infrared absorption spectrum characteristics of the test samples are similar to those of natural emeralds, and the infrared absorption spectrum could not be used as a basis for identifying the genesis of emeralds. Previous studies show that a set of absorption peaks in the range of 2300-3100cm-1 in the infrared absorption spectrum is an important identification feature of the hydrothermal synthesis of emeralds, but this feature is not obvious in the tested samples. The UV-Visible spectrum of the sample shows that the absorption band near 810-850nm related to Fe2+ is not obvious. The X-ray fluorescence spectra of the samples show that the Kα peak intensity of Ni is much higher than that Kα of Cr, which is the main feature of the new emerald synthesized by the hydrothermal method. It could be seen from the experimental results that the identification of jewelry and jade is a systematic work. It is necessary to learn from the previous results and combine the comprehensive analysis of various detection methods to obtain the correct result.

Lead is a toxic heavy metal with widespread industrial using. The pollution of water resources caused by lead emissions has been highly concerned for a long time. Monitoring the concentration of lead in drinking water is of great significance for preventing its deleterious effects on human health. The main methods for determination of lead in water include graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS), flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS), atomic fluorescence spectrometry (AFS), inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), anodic stripping voltammetry (ASV), dithizone spectrophotometry and so on. These methods generally need cumbersome pre-treatments of samples and have the disadvantages of time consuming, large amount of reagents, high energy consumption, and high risk of environmental pollution, which are hard to satisfy the increasing requirements of rapid detection. Although the emerging biosensor technology has the advantages of fast reaction speed and low detection limit, it cannot cope with the presence of multiple ions, and its application of practical samples still needs a further exploration. At present, the rapid analysis of metal ions can also be achieved by using organic mass spectrometry. Based on some previous researches, a method of internal extractive electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (iEESI-MS) was developed for rapid determination of lead in drinking water in this study. Firstly, a drop of 50 μL water sample was dropped onto the polytetrafluoroethylene filter membrane and then sent into an oven at 100 ℃ for 15 min until the water completely evaporated. o-Phenanthroline (Phen) solution was selected as a complexing agent to extract lead on the dry filter membrane, and the Phen-Pb complexes were analyzed in real time by mass spectrometer. The results indicated that the concentration of Pb2+ can be detected as low as 1 μg/L. Meanwhile, the calibration curve had a good linear relationship between the intensity of mass spectrum peaks and the concentration of Pb2+ in the range of 1500 μg/L with the correlation coefficient (R2) of 99.4%, and the recovery was 117%. This fully demonstrates that the method has the advantages of fast detection, high sensitivity and good accuracy. Following this example, other metal ions in water can be further analyzed. In addition, when signals of Phen-Pb complexes were obtained, the signals of anions (such as NO2-, Cl-, SO42-) and organic components in the mass spectrum could also be observed synchronously, showing the outstanding advantage of high throughput. In a word, this method has great potential to be used for implementing the simultaneous detection of multiple indicators in water.

Abstract Purpose Previous studies have shown that interleukin-27 (IL-27) can reduce bleomycin (BLM)-induced pulmonary fibrosis (PF). However, the underlying mechanism by which IL-27 attenuates PF is not fully clear. Methods In this research, we used BLM to construct a PF mouse model, and MRC-5 cells stimulated by transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) were used to construct a PF model in vitro. The lung tissue status was observed by Masson and hematoxylin and eosin (HE) staining. To detect gene expression, RT‒qPCR was used. The protein levels were detected by western blotting and immunofluorescence staining. EdU and ELISA were used to detect cell proliferation viability and hydroxyproline (HYP) content, respectively. Results Aberrant IL-27 expression was observed in BLM-induced mouse lung tissues, and the use of IL-27 attenuated mouse lung tissue fibrosis. TGF-β1 induced autophagy inhibition in MRC-5 cells, and IL-27 alleviated MRC-5 cell fibrosis by activating autophagy. The mechanism is inhibition of DNA methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1)-mediated lncRNA MEG3 methylation and ERK/p38 signaling pathway activation. Overexpression of DNMT1, knockdown of lncRNA MEG3, autophagy inhibitor or ERK/p38 signaling pathway inhibitors reversed the positive effect of IL-27 in a lung fibrosis model in vitro. Conclusion In conclusion, our study shows that IL-27 upregulates MEG3 expression through inhibition of DNMT1-mediated lncRNA MEG3 promoter methylation, which in turn inhibits ERK/p38 signaling pathway-induced autophagy and attenuates BLM-induced PF, providing a contribution to the elucidation of the potential mechanisms by which IL-27 attenuates PF.

The internal leakage fault-tolerant control problem of the electro-hydraulic servo actuator under the influence of multiple unmodeled dynamics is investigated in this paper, and an adaptive fault-tolerant control scheme based on unmodeled dynamics estimation and compensation is proposed. The model of the actuator is divided into two subsystems, which extended-state observers are respectively constructed to estimate the matched and mismatched unmodeled dynamics. Combined with the estimation results of the unmodeled dynamics, an adaptive fault-tolerant controller is designed by using the backstepping method. In which a controller reconfiguration mechanism based on internal leakage fault parameter online adaptation is used to accommodate the fault, and a feedforward compensation strategy is used to suppress the influence of unmodeled dynamics. Semi-physical simulation test of the proposed scheme is conducted under serious cylinder internal leakage. The test result shows that when the maximum internal leakage flow reaches 10.53 L/min, accounting for about 56.77% of the load flow, at the moment the opening of the servovalve is close to the maximum and the proposed scheme can still achieve high-precision position tracking control, where the maximum position tracking errors of fault transient and post-fault steady state are both limited within ±1.5% of the given position.

Silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) surimi was heated after freeze-thaw cycles at different freezing temperatures, and the changes of nonanal, 1-octene-3-alcohol, endogenous fluorescent substances, protein subunits, lysine, α-dicarbonyl compounds (glyoxal, GO and methylglyoxal, MGO), Nε-carboxylmethyl-lysine (CML) as an advanced glycation end product (AGE) and fluorescent AGEs in surimi during freeze-thaw and heating treatment were determined. The results showed that freezing temperature had no significant effect on any of the parameters measured (P > 0.05). As the number of freeze-thaw cycles increased, the levels of nonanal, 1-octene-3-ol, endogenous fluorescent substances, CML and fluorescent AGEs in surimi increased significantly, the content of lysine increased, and the levels of GO and MGO decreased significantly (P < 0.05). The levels of 1-octene-3-ol, GO, MGO, CML and fluorescent AGEs increased significantly during heat processing, the content of lysine increased at first and then decreased, the level of endogenous fluorescent substances decreased significantly (P < 0.05), and the myosin heavy chain was gradually degraded into smaller proteins. The above results showed that freeze-thaw treatment provided a large number of precursors for the formation of AGEs in surimi. Thermal processing promoted fat oxidation and protein degradation, stimulating the formation of AGEs in surimi through various pathways, which could in turn affect the safety of surimi.

Background and purpose: Anti-programmed death-1 (anti-PD-1) adjuvant therapy and targeted therapy have resulted in longer recurrence-free survival (RFS) for malignant melanoma patients in clinical trials. However, the efficacy of adjuvant anti-PD-1 therapy in Chinese melanoma patients has not been previously reported. The purpose of this study was to retrospectively analyze the RFS in Chinese resected stage Ⅲ malignant melanoma patients treated with adjuvant anti-PD-1 therapy and to preliminarily compare it with BRAFV600 inhibitor vemurafenib. Methods: This study retrospectively collected the information of 120 patients with resected stage Ⅲ malignant melanoma from three major cancer centers in China from August 30, 2018 to August 30, 2020. These patients received adjuvant pembrolizumab/toripalimab or vemurafenib. RFS rates were assessed by Kaplan-Meier curves and log-rank tests were used to examined differences. Results: Among the 90 patients with stage Ⅲ malignant melanoma receiving adjuvant anti-PD-1 therapy, the median-RFS (mRFS) was 16 months (95% CI: 14-18 months); the 12-month RFS rate was 69.5% (95% CI: 64.6%-74.4%) and the 24-month RFS rate was 45.8% (95% CI: 40.5%-51.1%). The mRFS for 30 patients who received vemurafenib was 18 months (95% CI: 10-21 months), the 12-month RFS rate was 62.8% (95% CI: 54.0%-71.6%), and the 24-month RFS rate was 32.9% (95% CI: 27.1%-44.7%). In the stratified analysis, firstly, there was no difference in RFS between anti-PD-1 therapy group and vemurafenib group. Secondly, the BRAFV600E mutation status may did not affect the RFS of anti-PD-1 therapy. In addition, in this study, for the patients with BRAFV600E mutation, the RFS showed no difference between these patients received anti-PD-1 therapy or vemurafenib. Finally, although the RFS was better in patients with cutaneous melanoma than in patients with acral and worst in patients of unknown origin, the data for adjuvant therapy in China were still poor. Conclusion: These are the real-world data from adjuvant anti-PD-1 therapy in patients with resected stage Ⅲ cutaneous and acral melanoma patients in China. In our study, adjuvant anti-PD-1 therapy is indistinguishable from vemurafenib indicates more combination therapies are needed to improve outcome in China.

Semi-dwarfing improves the lodging resistance and yield of rice, and the vast majority of modern rice varieties harbor the sd1 allele to decrease plant height, resulting in reduced genetic diversity and negative agronomic traits. Thus, exploring alternative sources of dwarfism is imperative for rice breeding. Here, we identified a novel RGA1 allele, d1-w, from a local indica variety Xiaolixiang (XLX) using a map-based cloning approach. Compared with other rice varieties, RGA1 in XLX contained a unique single nucleotide polymorphism that resulted in an additional transcript and reduced functional RGA1 transcript level. The RGA1 from Nipponbare was introduced into XLX to estimate the value of d1-w in rice breeding. Compared with transgenic XLX plants (XLXD1), XLX exhibited reduced plant height, increased stem strength, lower reactive oxygen species accumulation, delayed senescence, stronger photosynthesis, higher grain yield and quality (including external, milling and nutritional qualities), and enhanced resistance to drought and Rhizoctonia solani. Therefore, we proposed that the d1-w allele has potential as an excellent dwarfism resource for rice breeding.

Multifunctional scaffolds with host defense peptides designed for regenerative endodontics are desirable nanobiotechnological tools for dentistry. Here, different scaffolds were tested for use during the pulp revascularization process, including poly(vinyl alcohol)-PVA hydrogels or resins, collagen hydrogels and poly(vinyl alcohol) PVA/Chitosan (PVA/CS) nanofibers. Based on time to degradation (21 days), nanofibers were chosen to be incorporated with ciprofloxacin and IDR-1002 (each at 50 mg/g). Nanofibers containing ciprofloxacin and IDR-1002 had anti-biofilm activity against Enterococcus faecalis, Staphylococcus aureus and a multispecies oral biofilm, besides anti-inflammatory activities. The in vivo subcutaneous tissue response to tooth fragments filled with nanofibers demonstrated a pulp-like tissue formation, when compared to empty teeth fragments. Thus, we designed a strong antimicrobial, immunomodulatory and regenerative candidate for pulp revascularization and regeneration procedures.

Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) is a staple crop worldwide, and its yield has improved since the green revolution, which was attributed to chemical nitrogen (N) fertilizer application. An experiment was conducted to set seven nitrogen application levels of N0, N90, N120, N150, N180, N210 and N240 kg ha−1 before sowing. The results showed that grain yield under the nitrogen rate of N210 kg ha−1 was significantly increase the water intake during jointing to anthesis, Soil water storage of dryland wheat in fallow period was higher than water consumption in jointing stage and the leaf area index at anthesis, the tiller percentage rate, the jointing-anthesis, and nitrogen accumulation were closely related to yield and its components. Nitrogen fertiliser rate N150 kg ha−1 significantly increased dry matter buildup from jointing to flowering in dryland wheat compared to N fertiliser rate N210 kg ha−1. The rise of nitrogen application rate, there were no significant variance in nitrogen accumulation of Stem + leaf sheath and cob + glume at maturity, respectively. N fertiliser rate N210 kg ha−1 compared to N180 kg ha−1 significantly reduced grain gliadin content in dryland wheat, respectively. Wheat crops under N210 kg ha−1 could achieve both high NUE and grain yield simultaneously with only moderate N fertilizer in South Shanxi, China.

The proper microenvironment is critical for the storage and transportation of embryonic stem cells (ESCs). To mimic a dynamic 3D microenvironment as it exists in vivo and consider “off-the-shelf” availability reaching the destination, we proposed an alternative approach that allows for facile storage and transportation of stem cells in the form of ESCs-dynamic hydrogel construct (CDHC) under ambient conditions. To form CDHC, mouse embryonic stem cells (mESCs) were in-situ encapsulated within a polysaccharide-based dynamic and self-biodegradable hydrogel. After storing CDHC in a sterile and hermetic environment for 3 days and then transferring to a sealed vessel with fresh medium for another 3 days, the large and compact colonies retained a 90% survival rate and pluripotency. Furthermore, after transporting and arriving at the destination, the encapsulated stem cell could be automatically released from the self-biodegradable hydrogel. After continuous cultivation of 15 generations of retrieved cells, automatically released from the CDHC, the mESCs underwent 3D encapsulation, storage, transportation, release, and continuous long-term subculture; resumed colony forming capacity and pluripotency were revealed by stem cell markers both in protein and mRNA levels. We believe that the dynamic and self-biodegradable hydrogel provides a simple, cost-effective, and valuable tool for storing and transporting “ready-to-use” CDHC under ambient conditions, facilitating “off-the-shelf” availability and widespread applications.

ObjectiveAggressive angiomyxoma (AAM) is a rare, locally aggressive soft tissue neoplasm with a marked tendency for local recurrence after surgery. Although hormone therapy, radiation therapy, and vascular embolization can be performed, we investigated the safety and efficacy of a new chemical ablation protocol for AAM.MethodsThis study included two female AAM patients from 2012 to 2016. The patients’ clinical and imaging data were collected. The amount of anhydrous ethanol and glacial acetic acid used for chemical ablation was documented, and the management of any complications was detailed.ResultsThe maximum dimensions of the residual tumor were 12.6 cm and 14.0 cm. In one case, the lesion was in the pelvis and protruded into the vulva. Eighty milliliters of liquid with a mixture of glacial acetic acid, anhydrous ethanol, and iohexol (10:9:1) was used for chemical ablation therapy via multipoint injections with a single needle. However, a pelvic fistula developed 1 month later. In another case, the lesion was located in the abdominal wall. The ablation procedure was improved by performing chemical ablation therapy with multiple needles for multi-point injections of smaller than 30 ml injections for each procedure. To date, no recurrence or metastasis has been observed in the two cases.ConclusionThe preferred treatment for AAM is complete resection. Chemical ablation therapy is a novel adjuvant therapy for AMM. Nonetheless, more research is needed to confirm these findings.

Objective To explore the clinical application value of mixed reality technology in locating perforator vessels and assisting perforator vessel dissection to harvest anterolateral thigh flaps. Methods Six patients who needed anterolateral thigh flap repair after resection of oral and maxillofacial tumors were recruited from the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of Nanchong Central Hospital from January 2020 to January 2021. Before surgery, the CT angiography data of the lower limbs of the patients carrying the calibration points were imported into the data workstation to perform 3D reconstruction of the perforator vessels and surrounding tissues of the thigh, and the reconstruction results were imported into Microsoft HoloLens 2 glasses. During the operation, calibration was performed at the calibration point of the operative area so that the preoperative reconstruction results were superimposed on the operative area through Microsoft HoloLens 2 glasses. The clinical application value of mixed reality technology assisted perforator vessel location and anatomy of anterolateral femoral perforator flap was discussed from six aspects: whether the perforator vessel was reconstructed preoperatively, intraoperative calibration time, whether the actual position of the perforating vessels passing through the fascia lata fulcrum deviated from the preoperative reconstruction result within 1 cm, time required to harvest the flap, and whether the actual route of the perforator vessel was consistent with the reconstruction result, and whether the postoperative flap survived. Results The position and course of perforating vessels were successfully reconstructed in 6 cases before the operation. The actual course of perforating vessels during the operation was consistent with the reconstruction results. The deviation between the actual position of the perforating points and the preoperative reconstruction results was within 1 cm, which met the requirements of the actual asisting of the anterolateral thigh flap. The average time of flap harvest was (70.50 ± 7.20) min. The average calibration time was (13.33 ± 5.50) min. All flaps survived. Conclusions Mixed reality technology projects the reconstruction results of anterolateral femoral perforator vessels directly into the operative area, which provides a new method for asisting localization and anatomy of anterolateral femoral flap perforator vessels and reduces the possibility of injury to perforator vessels.

An assay combined ultra performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time of flight-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF MS/MS) with the multivariate statistical analysis methods including principal component analysis and orthogonal partial least squares-discriminate analysis was established for screening and identifying the characteristic markers of cocoa shell relative to cocoa powder, which could be used to quantitatively detect the content of cocoa shell in cocoa powder. The cocoa beans from Ecuador were selected as the research object, and the results showed that there was a great difference between cocoa powder and cocoa shell. One characteristic marker was identified as nigakilactone Ⅰ. There was a good linear relationship between the peak area of nigakilactone Ⅰ and the content of cocoa shell when the content of cocoa shell in cocoa powder was in the range of 1%-50%, the correlation coefficient was greater than 0.999 9. The detection limit and quantitative limit were 0.3% and 1%, respectively. In addition, this method was used for blind sample verification and commercial sample testing. The blind sample verification results showed that the detection content was basically consistent with the actual adulterated content, and the detection content of cocoa shell ranged from 2.51% to 9.03%. This method has high accuracy and high sensitivity, which can be used for identification of commercial cocoa powder adulteration.

ABSTRACT: The development of rural tourism destinations in China is confronting multiple issues, including blind expansion and a repetitive developmental model, causing the sector to enter a vicious competition cycle. The perception among tourists of rural tourism destinations, and their willingness to revisit places will provide insights for service providers that will enable them to form better strategies to stand out in the fiercely competitive market. Understanding tourist perception will enable providers to contribute to the construction of rural tourist destinations. Taking Ma Wei Yi Folk Culture Village as a case study, this paper combines the development status of rural tourism in Ma Wei Yi, obtains first-hand data through questionnaire interviews, verifies the research hypothesis, and uses Pearson coefficient to carry out correlation analysis. The paper concluded that tourists’ rural perception has a positive and strong impact on their willingness to revisit, and its factors have different impacts. According to the empirical results, tourist destination providers should pay attention to rural perceptual development in their follow-up development and operation processes. They can effectively attract tourists to visit multiple times, enhance tourist’s sense of enjoyable experience, and achieve sustainable development.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) on cardiac function and morphology in rats with acute liver injury.MethodsRat models of acute liver injury were established by intraperitoneal injection with different concentrations of CCl4, while an equal volume of vegetable oil was injected intraperitoneally as a control group. Electrocardiogram (ECG) was performed at 24 and 48 hours after inducted by CCl4, and the animals were sacrificed after blood collection from the abdominal aorta. The levels of serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and cardiac troponinⅠ(CTNⅠ) were measured by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Liver and heart tissues were sectioned and stained with hematoxylin-eosin (HE) and the pathological changes were observed by optical microscopy. The levels of malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD), and creatine kinase (CK) in myocardial tissues were measured by visible light spectrophotometer.ResultsThe changes in serum ALT level and liver morphological in the model groups proved that the acute liver injury model induced by CCl4 was successfully established, and the degree of liver injury was dose-dependent. The ECG of the model groups revealed electrophysiological changes, such as ST-segment elevation, T-wave sharp, and Q-T interval prolongation in different degrees. This study uses Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) and acid polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (A-PAGE) to identify the composition of high molecular weight glutenin subunits (HMW-GS)and the translocation of gliadin 1BL/1RS in two high quality wheat flour. The gliadin and glutenin are separated and extracted from wheat flour by separating and recombining, then re-proportionated with proportions. The cooking quality and texture of reconstituted noodles are analyzed to identify the relationship between gliadin, glutenin and noodle’s quality. The results show that when the protein content is constant, the water absorption of recombinant noodles is negatively correlated with (gluten: alcohol) (P＜0.05), while the dry matter loss rate is not highly relevant to gluten: alcohol. The hardness, firmness and tensile strength of recombinant noodles are positively correlated with gluten: alcohol (P＜0.05). The viscosity is negatively correlated with gluten: alcohol (P＜0.05). Meanwhile, it is found that when the properties of high molecular weight glutenin and gliadin are the same, only the composition of low molecular weight glutenin is different from the precipitation value, but the properties of reconstituted noodles are similar. Therefore, we conclude that high molecular weight glutenin has a greater impact on the quality of noodles.
