Objective·To assess the levels of pregnancy-related stress, pre-pregnancy health care behaviors, and coping styles among pregnant women,analyze the influencing factors of pregnancy stress and provide insights for the management of pregnancy health in expectant mothers.Methods·A total of 265 pregnant women receiving treatment at the Obstetrics Clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University from April to August 2022 were included as participants. General information questionnaires, pre-pregnancy health care behavior questionnaires, pregnancy stress scales and simple coping style questionnaires were utilized for data collection. After obtaining the consent of the patients, assessments on pregnancy stress levels, pre-pregnancy health care behaviors, and coping styles were conducted.Results·The overall average score for pregnancy stress among pregnant women was 1.05±0.41. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that age, number of pregnancies, history of threatened abortion, fetal gender expectations, attending prenatal education classes or reviewing relevant manuals significantly influenced pregnancy-related stresses (P

AIM:To evaluate the effect of optical amplification on macular retinal thickness measurements in myopic eyes of children and adolescents using optical coherence tomography(OCT).METHODS:A total of 68 cases(126 eyes)of children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 years old attending our optometric center from April 2023 to January 2024 were selected. They were divided into 44 cases(83 eyes)in the mild myopia group(-0.50 D0.05). In the moderate myopia group, the differences between the retinal thickness in each quadrant of the macula and the mean retinal thickness before and after correction were statistically significant(all P0.05). There were significant differences between the two groups in the macular fovea, the nasal side of the inner ring, the temporal side of the inner ring, the upper inner ring, the lower inner ring, the nasal side of the outer ring, and the mean retinal thickness after correction(all P

The SMILE (Solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer) mission is a joint space science mission between the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the European Space Agency (ESA), aiming to understand the interaction of the solar wind with the Earth’s magnetosphere in a global manner. As of May 2024, the SMILE mission is in phase-D with an expected launch date of September 2025. This report summarizes developments in the mission during the past two years.

With the popularization of higher education, the number of students in colleges and universities is increasing, and how to timely cope with the various problems faced by students in employment has become a major problem faced by teachers in colleges and universities. Due to the low utilization rate of student information by the traditional employment management of college graduates, the quality of employment guidance services is not high. Therefore, to solve this problem, this study proposes a simplified, improved Iterative Dichotomizer 3 (ID3) based on the correlation coefficient, and the algorithm improves the information gain function and simplifies the information entropy formula. The experimental results show that the simplified modified ID3 based on correlation coefficients converges faster than the other two algorithms, starting to converge after only 17 iterations; the loss value is also smaller than the other algorithms, at around 0.12. Its minimum accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-measure for employment status prediction were 86.4, 76.8, 72.8, and 0.82%, respectively, all higher than the rest of the algorithms. The time complexity at a sample size of 80 is only 32 ms, which is lower than the rest of the algorithms. It can be seen that the simplified and improved ID3 based on correlation coefficients can accurately and efficiently perform predictive analysis of graduates’ employment status. The university employment management system proposed in the study has achieved efficient deep utilization of graduate information through ID3, providing assistance to university employment decision-makers and reference for employment guidance for university graduates.

Objective To investigate the effect of bone window closure on moderate to severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) in mice by controlled cortical impact (CCI). Methods A total of 200 healthy male mice were divided into 2 groups for moderate and severe TBI. Fifty were randomly selected from each group for bone window closed, and the remaining 50 were not closed. The intracranial pressure (ICP) was monitored, the water content of brain tissue and the volume of cerebral edema were measured, the degree of neurological impairment was assessed by modified Neurological Severity Score (mNSS), and the spatial learning ability and memory were evaluated by Morris water maze test. Nissl staining assessed the degree of neuronal damage in the cerebral cortex and CA1 region of the hippocampus. Results For ICP, there were differences in ICP between the bone window closed group and the unclosed group in both the moderate and severe TBI (P = 0.007, 0.000). There were also significant differences in ICP at different observation time points after modeling (P = 0.000, 0.000). The ICP on 1 d of the moderate bone window closed group was higher than that in the moderate bone window unclosed group (P = 0.009), 1 d (P = 0.000) and 3 d (P = 0.038) of the severe bone window closed group was higher than that of the severe bone window unclosed group. On 7 d, the ICP in the moderate bone window closed group (P = 0.000, 0.000) and the severe bone window closed group (P = 0.000, 0.008) was lower than that on 1 and 3 d, and the ICP on 3 d was also lower than that on 1 d (P = 0.000, 0.000). The ICP in the moderate bone window unclosed group on 7 d was lower than that on 1 d (P = 0.031). The water content of brain tissue was lower on 1 d (P = 0.028), 3 d (P = 0.023) and 7 d (P = 0.023) in severe bone window closed group than that of severe bone window unclosed group. The volume of brain edema in the bone window closed group was smaller than that in the bone window unclosed group (P = 0.021, 0.037). In the evaluation of the degree of neurological impairment, there were differences in mNSS scores at different observation time points between the bone window closed group and the bone window unclosed group (P = 0.000, 0.001). On 7 d, the mNSS scores of the moderate bone window closed group (P = 0.002), the moderate bone window unclosed group (P = 0.013) and the severe bone window closed group (P = 0.009) were all lower than those on 1 d. The mNSS scores of the severe bone window closed group (P = 0.006) and the severe bone window unclosed group (P = 0.002) were all lower than those of 3 d. Morris water maze test showed that the platform latency of mice in the severe bone window closed group was longer than that in the severe bone window unclosed group (P = 0.045), and the target quadrant residence time was shorter than that in the severe bone window unclosed group (P = 0.025). Nissl staining showed compared with the moderate bone window unclosed group, the density of Nissl bodies in cerebral cortex neurons was decreased, the staining was lighter, and the density of Nissl bodies in cerebral cortex neurons of CA1 region of hippocampus was decreased, the Nissl staining was lighter and the shape was blurred in the moderate bone window closed group. In severe TBI model mice, compared with the bone window unclosed group, the density of Nissl bodies in cerebral cortex and hippocampal CA1 region of the bone window closed group was decreased, the staining was blurred, and more metachromic particles appeared, hippocampal CA1 region body edema, the Nissl staining blurred. Conclusions In moderate TBI model mice, bone window closure increases ICP in the acute stage, but has no significant effect on the degree of cerebral edema, neurological function and cognitive function. In severe TBI model mice, bone window closure can lead to increased ICP and decreased spatial learning ability and memory, but it can reduce the degree of brain edema and improve neurological function. It is suggested that bone window closure should be selected according to the purpose of the study.

Objective Affected by the occupation of existing buildings (structures) on the ground, the main retaining piles in shield receiving areas at both ends of some metro stations cannot be built. Therefore, it is necessary to study the pile-beam-arch (PBA)construction technology for expanding excavation of metro station undercrossing the parallel existing buildings or structures. Method With the project of Nijiaqiao Station on New Line 18 in Chengdu Metro undercrossing the existing structures as the research object, a finite element model is established to analyze the subsidence characteristics of the land and the existing structures according to the actual construction plan, and the results are verified by on-site monitoring data. Result & Conclusion PBA construction technologies including advanced large pipe shed, temporary column support system, staggering excavation of 7guiding holes and manual excavation cast-in-place pile are used, successfully implementing the station main retaining pile construction under the premise of effectively controlling the subsidence of land and the existing buildings. The construction steps that have the greatest impact on the above-mentioned subsidence are the excavation of guiding holes 1, 3, 5, 7. The subsidence of existing structures is obvious at guiding holes 1 and 2 with the maximum value of 9.62 mm, 1.5 times the simulated value. Both the on-site monitoring results and the simulated results meet the safety control requirements.

Background Gastrointestinal dysfunction is a very common complication in peritoneal dialysis patients, which not only seriously affects the appetite and mood of patients, but also induces malnutrition, dehydration, electrolyte disorders, or systemic inflammatory reactions, and even leads to a decrease in the effectiveness of peritoneal dialysis, thus increasing the difficulty of medical treatment and lowering the patients' standard of living. Objective To analyse the clinical characteristics and influencing factors of patients with peritoneal dialysis-associated gastrointestinal dysfunction, and provide reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of peritoneal dialysis-associated gastrointestinal dysfunction. Methods A retrospective study was conducted to select 304 uremic patients who underwent continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis in the Department of Nephrology, First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2019-09-01 to 2021-09-01. The patients were divided into the gastrointestinal dysfunction group and non-gastrointestinal dysfunction according to the combination of gastrointestinal dysfunction. General data, comorbidities, laboratory test indexes, and dialysis adequacy-related indexes of the two groups of patients were collected and compared. SPSS 23.0 software was used to statistically analyze the clinical data, the clinical characteristics of peritoneal dialysis-associated gastrointestinal dysfunction, and multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the factors influencing the occurrence of peritoneal dialysis-associated gastrointestinal dysfunction in patients with uremia. Results A total of 304 peritoneal dialysis patients were included, of which 189 (62.2%) were in the gastrointestinal dysfunction group, with the median age of 62 (52, 67) years. AIM: To compare the efficacy of intravitreal injection of ranibizumab(IVR)and intravitreal injection of conbercept(IVC)in children with retinopathy of prematurity(ROP).METHODS: Retrospective study. A total of 1 100 eyes with ROP treated with intravitreal anti-VEGF at our hospital from January 2015 to June 2023 were included. According to the different therapeutic drugs, the children were divided into two groups: IVR group and IVC group. According to the degree of ROP, the patients were divided into three groups: aggressive ROP(A-ROP), Zone Ⅰ type 1 ROP and Zone Ⅱ type 1 ROP. The reactivation and retreatment between the two groups were compared after propensity score matching(PSM)analysis, and they were followed-up for at least 3 mo after surgery.RESULTS: In Zone Ⅱ type 1 ROP, there was a statistically significant difference in the rates of reactivation and retreatment between the IVR and IVC groups(P0.05). The risk of reactivation and retreatment of Zone I type 1 ROP was higher than the Zone II type 1 ROP. Furthermore, the use of drugs and corrected gestational age of first treatment were influencing factors of lesion recurrence and retreatment.CONCLUSION: There is a significant difference in the initial cure effect between the two drugs in Zone II type 1 ROP, with the reactivation and retreatment rates of the IVC group being much lower than those of the IVR group.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the determination uncertainty of four quinolones residues in honey by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry （LC-MS/MS）. Methods: Based on GB 31657.2—2021, a mathematical model for sources of uncertainty evaluation was established. The uncertainty of each variable which affect the result were calculated and the weight of each uncertainty component was assessed. Results: The uncertainties in the determination of enrofloxacin, sarafloxacin, ofloxacin and ciprofloxacin in honey were （4.97±0.81）, （10.13±1.58）, （7.67±1.23）, （14.97±2.25） μg/kg （P=95%，k=2） respectively. Conclusion: The main influencing factors of the determination uncertainty were preparation and dilution process of standard solution and fitting of standard curve, which should be controlled in practical work.

20(S)-Ginsenoside Rh2 has significant anti-tumor effects in various types of cancers, including human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, its molecular targets and mechanisms of action remain largely unknown. Here, we aim to elucidate the potential mechanisms by which Rh2 suppresses HCC growth. We first demonstrate the role of Rh2 in inhibiting angiogenesis. We observe that Rh2 effectively suppresses cell proliferation and induces apoptosis in HUVECs. Furthermore, Rh2 significantly inhibits HepG2-stimulated HUVEC proliferation, migration and tube formation, accompanied by the downregulation of VEGF and MMP-2 expressions. We also reveal that Rh2 inhibits HCC growth through the downregulation of glypican-3-mediated activation of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway. We observe a dose-dependent inhibition of proliferation and induction of apoptosis in HepG2 cells upon Rh2 treatment, which is mediated by the inhibition of glypican-3/Wnt/β-catenin signaling. Moreover, downregulation of glypican-3 expression enhances the effects of Rh2 on the glypican-3/Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, resulting in greater suppression of tumor growth in HepG2 cells. Collectively, our findings shed light on the molecular mechanisms through which Rh2 modulates HCC growth, which involve the regulation of angiogenesis and the glypican-3/Wnt/β-catenin pathway. These insights may pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting these pathways for the treatment of HCC.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy of three screening questionnaires for COPD in the community residents of Songjiang District， Shanghai， and to provide a basis for selecting COPD screening questionnaire and process that are more suitable.MethodsCommunity residents aged 40 years or over were randomly selected from the Shanghai Suburban Adult Cohort and Biobank for the study with screening questionnaires and spirometry. Questionnaires included the COPD screening questionnaire （COPD-SQ）， the COPD population screener （COPD-PS） and the revised COPD diagnostic questionnaire （revised-CDQ）. Evaluation of the efficacy of these questionnaires was based on the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve （AUC） of the subjects. DeLong test was used to compare the accuracy of different questionnaires； Z test was used to compare the accuracy of different cut-off values for the same questionnaire.ResultsAmong 3 184 community residents， a total of 259 （8.1%） COPD patients were screened by spirometry. AUC values of these 3 screening questionnaires were >0.7 indicating that they were reliable COPD screening tools. The sensitivity and specificity of the questionnaires at the recommended cut-off values were COPD-SQ （63.7% and 72.2%）， COPD-PS （12.0% and 96.1%）， and revised CDQ （78.8% and 52.7%）， with the COPD-SQ having the highest screening accuracy （AUC=0.754）. The optimal and recommended cut-off values for the three questionnaires differed in this population， but the difference in accuracy was statistically significant only for COPD-PS. The optimal cut-off values for the three questionnaires differed between male and female， and the sensitivity and accuracy of COPD-SQ and COPD-PS improved when lower cut-off values were used for women. The AUC was greater when two questionnaires were utilized simultaneously for screening， but the differences were not statistically significant.ConclusionThe COPD-SQ is recommended for primary COPD screening； a lower cut-off value for women should be considered. The COPD screening questionnaire needs to be further improved for the early diagnosis and treatment of COPD patients.

【Objective】In order to improve the confidentiality and performance of the mixed Radio Frequency (RF)/Free Space Optical (FSO) communication systems, it is necessary to study the security performance of the Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS)-assisted mixed RF/FSO system to obtain the relationship between system security performance and parameters such as RIS deployment location and the degree of correlation between different antennas branches.【Methods】In the article, a single eavesdropper is considered to eavesdrop against RF links and FSO links respectively, with RF links obeying an arbitrarily correlated Nakagami-m distribution and FSO links obeying a Gamma-Gamma distribution. Closed expressions for the Security Outage Probability (SOP) and Strictly Positive Security Capacity (SPSC) probability of the communication system for the two eavesdropping scenarios are derived using the decode-and-forward protocol, and the SOP is analyzed asymptotically. Simulation experiments are also conducted using the Matlab software to verify the accuracy of the derived formulas through Monte Carlo simulation.【Results】Simulation results show that deploying the RIS close to the receiver reduces the security outage probability of the system. It is also shown that an increase in the degree of antenna correlation increases the SOP of the system when the channel quality of the RF main channel is better compared to the eavesdropping channel.【Conclusion】The RIS-assisted FSO link has better security compared to the RF link. Although the multi-antenna diversity technique can effectively improve the security performance of the system, antenna correlation, similar to the fading caused by pointing error and atmospheric turbulence, can also damage the security performance of the system. It is also shown that the security of the system can be effectively improved by reducing the degree of antenna correlation.

【Objective】This paper studies numerical characteristics and characteristic matrix of attenuation spectrum of G.652.D single-mode optical fibres, and considers the attenuation factor to optimize the mathematical expression of optical fibre attenuation spectrum model. The study aims to improve the digital modeling ability of optical fibre attenuation spectrum for research and manufacturing of optical fibre and development of optical system.【Methods】ITU-T G.650.1(2020) provides an example matrix for use in the "spectral attenuation modelling" method to calculate attenuation spectrum of G.652.D single-mode optical fibres. This paper analyzes and demonstrates that the spectral attenuation model method could approximately obtain optical fibre attenuation spectrum with low error by characteristic matrix corresponds to four wavelengths. An optimized attenuation spectrum characteristic matrix is given by considering sources of attenuation, and the effect of the new matrix is verified with attenuation spectrum test data of 1000 fibre samples.【Results】Main research results of this paper include: (1) When there is a good correspondence between the wavelengths corresponding to the fibre attenuation spectrum characteristic matrix and main attenuation sources of G.652.D fibre, the spectral attenuation model method is able to approximate the fibre attenuation spectrum with small errors; (2) An attenuation spectrum characteristic matrix of G.652.D single mode fibre is calculated based on attenuation sources of the fibre, and this matrix is able to reflect mechanism of fibre attenuation better, compared to the characteristic matrix calculated solely from data; (3) Verification with test data of optical fibre samples shows that the new matrix could calculate the attenuation spectrum of optical fibre samples with comparable small errors.【Conclusion】This paper studies and concludes that the reason why the spectral attenuation model method is able to approximate the optical fibre attenuation spectrum is that the corresponding wavelengths of the characteristic matrix has a good correspondence with main attenuation sources of the optical fibre. Combining with the attenuation sources, optimized characteristic matrix can be calculated. The new matrix could reflect the mechanism of the optical fibre attenuation and also effectively calculate the attenuation spectrum of the optical fibre samples with small errors.

Abstract Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), an acquired autoimmune disease, is characterized by immune-mediated platelet destruction. A biomarker is a biological entity that contributes to disease pathogenesis and reflects disease activity. Metabolic alterations are reported to be associated with the occurrence of various diseases. As metabolic biomarkers for ITP have not been identified. This study aimed to identify metabolism-related differentially expressed genes as potential biomarkers for pathogenesis of ITP using bioinformatic analyses.The microarray expression data of the peripheral blood mononuclear cells were downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus database (GSE112278 download link: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo/query/acc.cgi?acc=GSE112278 ). Key module genes were intersected with metabolism-related genes to obtain the metabolism-related key candidate genes. The hub genes were screened based on the degree function in the coytoscape sofware. The key ITP-related genes were subjected to functional enrichment analysis. Immune infiltration analysis was performed using a single-sample gene set enrichment analysis algorithm to evaluate the differential infiltration levels of immune cell types between ITP patient and control. Molecular subtypes were identified based on the expression of hub genes. The expression of hub genes in the ITP patients was validated using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction analysis. This study identified five hub genes (ADH4, CYP7A1, CYP1A2, CYP8B1, and NR1H4), which were be associated with the pathogenesis of ITP, and two molecular subtypes of ITP. Among these hub genes, CYP7A1 and CYP8B1 involved in cholesterol metabolism,were further verified in clinical samples.

Age-related macular degeneration(ARMD)is a neurodegenerative disease associated with oxidative stress. It is characterized by progressive death of photoreceptors and retinal pigment epithelium(RPE), and is one of the leading causes of irreversible loss of central vision in patients over the age of 65 years old. MicroRNA(miRNA)is a class of regulatory short-chain non-coding RNA that can bind and inhibit multiple gene targets in the same biological pathway. This unique property makes microRNA an ideal target for exploring the pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of non-exudative ARMD. Previous studies have found that the pathogenesis of non-exudative ARMD involves age, genetics, environment, oxidative stress, lipid metabolism, autophagy and immunity. However, the exact mechanisms have not been fully clarified. As biomarkers of non-exudative ARMD, miRNA play a role in oxidative stress and lipid metabolism. This article summarizes the role of various miRNA in targeting Nrf2 and HIF-1α to inhibit hypoxia-related angiogenesis signaling, thereby affecting oxidative stress. Additionally, miRNA regulate lipid uptake and the expression of ABCA1 in RPE and macrophages, thereby influencing lipid metabolism. This deepens the understanding of the role of miRNA in oxidative stress and lipid metabolism in non-exudative ARMD, and provides directions for further improving the understanding of the pathogenesis and prevention of non-exudative ARMD.

Background: Adenylyl cyclase (AC) isoforms played a key role in the multiple cancer pathology, However, the expression, prognostic value and function of ADCY5 in Glioblastoma (GBM) have not been reported yet. This research intends to discover the expression, epigenetic alteration and biological function of ADCY5 in GBM and its value on patients' prognosis. Methods: ① Transcriptional level, epigenetic alteration, prognostic value and molecular network of ADCY5 were analyzed by using of public online datasets. ② The mRNA expression profile of ADCY5 was explored by using GEPIA database and protein expression levels were detected by HPA Database. ③ The prognostic value of ADCY5 was determined by Kaplan-Meier Plotter, GEPIA and CGGA database. ④ The epigenetic characteristics of ADCY5 were determined by DiseaseMeth database. ⑤ Identification of genes co-expressed with ADCY5 and potential mechanism analyses were performed by using DAVID cBioPorta and STRING. ⑥ Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8), colony formation, wound-healing scratch and transwell assay were applied to detect relative mRNA expression and biological function of ADCY5 in GMB cells. Results: ADCY5 mRNA and protein were downregulated in GBM compared with normal tissues. Analysis of the genetics and epigenetics of ADCY5 suggested that its expression was negatively correlated with DNA methylation. High expression of ADCY5 was significantly associated with age, grade, IDH mutation, 1p19q_codeletion, radiotherapy and chemotherapy and acted as an independent prognostic factor in GBM. ADCY5 mRNA also down-expressed in GBM cell lines and re-expressed of ADCY5 could inhibit cell proliferation, viability, migration/invasion and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in vitro. In the analysis of genes co-expressed with ADCY5, we found that cAMP/AKT pathway, cGMP-PKG pathway, Wnts pathway were dissimilarly enriched. Conclusion: Our study indicated that ADCY5 could act as an epigenetic biomarker in GBM, as well as a prognosis target in patients with GBM.

PurposeAthlete burnout is an adverse factor that usually decreases athletes' sports performance and reduces their passion for athletic career development. The present study examined the association of coach-athlete relationship, training satisfaction, and athlete burnout, and then explored the training satisfaction as a mediating role of the effect of coach-athlete relationship on athlete burnout among college soccer players.MethodsSoccer players from seven Chinese higher education institutions were recruited for the study. The participants were selected using stratified random sampling and included 218 participants. The Coach-Athlete Relationship Scale, Training Satisfaction Scale, and Athlete Burnout Questionnaire were used to collect data from the participants. Pearson's product-moment correlation analysis, linear regression analysis, and bootstrap method were conducted to analyze the collected data set.ResultsThe results showed that (1) there was a significant correlation between coach-athlete relationship, training satisfaction, and athlete burnout. (2) coach-athlete relationship and training satisfaction significantly negatively predicted athlete burnout (β = −0.39, p < 0.001; β = - 0.29, p < 0.001). (3) training satisfaction had a significantly mediating effect on the relationship between coach-athlete relationship and athlete burnout (β = −0.15, p < 0.001, ES = 0.28).ConclusionCoach-athlete relationship can not only directly negative impact athlete burnout but can also negatively influence athlete burnout through the mediating effect of training satisfaction. Therefore, we suggest the following to alleviate athlete burnout: on one hand, coaches can provide more communication opportunities for athletes to improve the coach-athlete relationship. On the other hand, teams can enhance training satisfaction by building team culture.

ABSTRACT This study aims to explore the link between retinal vein occlusion (RVO), a blinding ocular condition, and alterations in gut microbiota composition, to offer insights into the pathogenesis of RVO. Fecal samples from 25 RVO patients and 11 non-RVO individuals were analyzed using 16S rRNA sequencing and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). Significant differences in the abundance of gut microbial species were noted between RVO and non-RVO groups. At the phylum level, the RVO group showed an elevation in the ratio of Firmicutes to Bacteroidetes. At the genus level, the RVO group showed higher abundance in Escherichia_Shigella (P < 0.05) and less abundance in Parabacteroides (P < 0.01) than the non-RVO group. Functional predictions indicated reduced folate synthesis, biotin metabolism, and oxidative phosphorylation, with an increase in butyric acid metabolism in the RVO group. LC-MS analysis showed significant differences in purine metabolism, ABC transporters, and naphthalene degradation pathways, especially purine metabolism. Pearson correlation analysis revealed significant associations between bacterial genera and fecal metabolites. Enrichment analysis highlighted connections between specific metabolites and bacterial genera. The findings showed that the dysregulation of gut microbiota was observed in RVO patients, suggesting the gut microbiota as a potential therapeutic target. Modulating the gut microbiota could be a novel strategy for managing RVO and improving patient outcomes. Furthermore, the study findings suggest the involvement of gut microbial dysbiosis in RVO development, underscoring the significance of understanding its pathogenesis for effective treatment development.IMPORTANCERetinal vein occlusion (RVO) is a blinding ocular condition, and understanding its pathogenesis is crucial for developing effective treatments. Porous carbonate reservoirs are characterized by strong heterogeneity and diverse pore types， with significant differences in waterflooding recovery and unclear main controlling factors. Based on the pore throat size distribution curves， the microscopic pore structure of the reservoir was qualitatively classified. Through digital core technology， a method for quantitative characterization of microscopic pore structure was established to clarify the pore throat characteristics of porous carbonate rocks in a region of the Middle Eastern， and indoor physical experiments on waterflooding were conducted to clarify the differences in the oil recovery of different types of cores and their main controlling factors. The results show that ① The microscopic pore structure of the reservoir in the study area can be classified into coarse unimodal type， fine unimodal type I， fine unimodal type II， coarse bimodal type， and multimodal type. There is no significant relationship between storage performance and core homogeneity； the single-phase flow capacity of non-unimodal type is better than that of unimodal type； unimodal type becomes worse with increasing core homogeneity. ②The average coordination number and pore-throat ratio of the non-unimodal type are higher than those of the unimodal type. The average coordination number and pore-throat ratio decreased with the increase of core homogeneity for the unimodal type. The upper limit of the pore-throat ratio tends to decrease with increasing throat radius for all types， and the upper limit of coordination number increases exponentially with increasing pore radius. ③Macroscopically， core homogeneity is the main controlling factor of oil displacement efficiency； microscopically， high connectivity at large pore-throat and large pore-throat ratio at small pore-throat are the fundamental reasons for non-unimodal type to have significantly lower oil displacement efficiency than unimodal type. Pore-throat size is the crucial factor of oil displacement efficiency of unimodal type.

Background and purpose: Trastuzumab has a relatively low incidence of drug resistance, which can be used as an adjuvant treatment to improve clinical efficacy. It has been used to treat breast cancer in the past, but its application in other cancers has been less studied. This study aimed to explore the effects of trastuzumab assisted modified DOF fortnightly regimen on serum tumor markers and survival rate in cisplatin-resistant gastric cancer patients, in order to provide more references for the selection of clinical treatment methods for cisplatin-resistant gastric cancer. Methods: Eighty patients with cisplatin-resistant gastric cancer treated in Harison International Peace Hospital from January 2017 to January 2019 were selected as the study objects, and they were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method. All of them received improved DOF fortnightly treatment, and trastuzumab adjuvant treatment was added to the observation group on this basis. The serum tumor markers [serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9), CA72-4], serum neovascular markers [vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), pigment epithelial derived factor (PEDF), angiopoietin-2 (Ang-2)], biochemical indicators [N-terminal pro B type natriuretic peptide (NT proBNP), aspartate transaminase (AST), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), alanine aminotransferase (ALT)], adverse reactions and survival rate were compared between two groups. This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Harison International Peace Hospital (number: 20160511). Results: After treatment, CEA, CA19-9 and CA72-4 in both groups decreased, and CEA, CA19-9 and CA72-4 levels were lower in the observation group than in the control group with statistical significance (P0.05). The levels of NT-proBNP, AST, BUN and ALT were compared between the two groups before and after treatment, and there was no statistically significant difference (P>0.05). The number of patients with fatigue, gastrointestinal reaction and myelosuppression and the total incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups, and there was no statistically significant difference (P>0.05). At 5 years after treatment, 11 cases (27.5%) survived and 29 cases (72.5%) died in the observation group. There were 3 cases (7.5%) of survival and 37 cases (92.5%) of death in the control group. The median survival was 2 years (95% CI: 1.8-2.2) in the observation group and 1 year (95% CI: 0.6-1.4) in the control group. The survival rate of 1-5 years was higher in the observation group than in the control group. The difference was statistically significant (log-rank χ2 = 13.853, P = 0.001). Conclusion: In the clinical treatment of cisplatin-resistant gastric cancer, trastuzumab assisted modified DOF fortnightly regimen suggests that it can reduce the expression levels of serum tumor markers, improve the 5-year survival rate of patients, and has certain drug safety.

Pentatricopeptide repeat (PPR) proteins represent one of the largest protein families in plants and typically localize to organelles like mitochondria and chloroplasts. By contrast, CYTOPLASM- LOCALIZED PPR1 (OsCPPR1) is a cytoplasm-localized PPR protein that can degrade OsGOLDEN- LIKE1 (OsGLK1) mRNA in the tapetum of rice anther. However, the mechanism, by which OsCPPR1 recognizes and binds to OsGLK1 transcripts, remains unknown. Through protein structure prediction and macromolecular docking experiments, we observed that distinct PPR motif structures of OsCPPR1 exhibited varying binding efficiencies to OsGLK1 RNA. Moreover, RNA-electrophoretic mobility shift assay experiment demonstrated that the recombinant OsCPPR1 can directly recognize and bind to OsGLK1 mRNA in vitro. This further confirmed that the mutations in the conserved amino acids in each PPR motif resulted in loss of activity, while truncation of OsCPPR1 decreased its binding efficiency. These findings collectively suggest that it may require some co-factors to assist in cleavage, a facet that warrants further exploration in subsequent studies.

Objective To analyze the current situation and influencing factors of work engagement of neurology nurses. Methods Using the convenient sampling method, a cross-sectional survey was conducted among nurses in the department of neurology in a Class III and Class A general hospital in Beijing from April to May 2022. The self-designed general data questionnaire, the work engagement scale and the Chinese version of the perceived stress scale were used to survey the nurses in the department of neurology. Results In this study, a total of 660 questionnaires were distributed and 630 were recovered, with a recovery rate of 95. 45%. Totally 630 questionnaires were valid, with an effective rate of 100. 00%. Of the 630 neurology nurses, 34 were male (5. 40%) and 596 were female (94. 60%). The score of work engagement of 630 neurology nurses was (35. 15 ± 5. 34), and the data difference was statistically significant (P＜0. 05). The results of univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in the scores of work engagement of neurology nurses in terms of age, employment relationship, technical title, working years and children's situation (P＜0. 05). The total score of perceived stress of neurology nurses was (36. 76 ± 8. 10), and the total score of work engagement was positively correlated with the score of sense of loss and perceived stress (P＜0. 05), and negatively correlated with the score of tension (P＜0. 05). The results of multifactor analysis showed that the sense of loss of control, employment relationship, and working for 1～10 years were the independent influencing factors of work engagement (P＜0. 05). Conclusion There are several factors affecting the work engagement of neurology nurses. As clinical nursing managers, they can adopt effective scientific management methods and take effective measures to relieve the psychological pressure of nurses, reduce the level of rumination thinking, and positively guide the establishment of positive emergency psychology, so as to improve the degree of nurses' work engagement, and ultimately achieve the goal of improving nursing quality and patient satisfaction. Objective To investigate the effect of high-quality nursing services under the humanistic care nursing model for hospitalized elderly patients with chronic diseases. Methods Totally 70 elderly patients with chronic diseases admitted to the hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects. Objective To evaluate the psychological intervention combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine Ta stain therapy in nursing of patients with diabetic foot ulcer. Methods Totally 64 patients with diabetic foot ulcer were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 32 cases in each group. All patients received local dressing change in addition to the comprehensive treatment such as blood glucose control and infection prevention. Patients in the observation group were given psychological intervention combined with wet compress of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The condition of swelling relief and wound repair were evaluated after intervention, and the degree of pain was measured by using Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). Results The total effective rates of swelling relief and wound repair in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0. 05). The VAS score was decreased in both two groups after intervention, and VAS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0. 01). Conclusion The psychological intervention combined with wet compress of Traditional Chinese Medicine is effective to improve the swelling relief and wound repair, and reduce the pain of patients with diabetic foot ulcer. This article summarized the postoperative nursing of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine for an elderly patient undergoing surgery for thyroid cancer. Comprehensive nursing interventions such as basic nursing, acupuncture massage, dietary nursing, exercise guidance and psychological care were carried out. A comprehensive nursing plan of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine had been made to relieve the negative emotion and pain of the patient, and improve the sleep quality and quality of life during rehabilitation. Abstract Background To evaluate the current prevalence of prediabetes in northeast China, and further determine the association between prediabetes alone or coexistent with hypertension and cardiovascular disease (CVD) mortality. Methods In the prospective study, 15,557 participants without diabetes among aged ≥40 years in northeast China, were followed for a median of 5.5 years. Following the American Diabetes Association, prediabetes was defined as fasting plasma glucose (FPG) range of 5.6-6.9 mmol/L or glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) range of 5.7-6.4% in people without diabetes. Results The prevalence of prediabetes was 44.3% among population aged ≥40 years in northeast China. Prediabetes alone did not promote risk of CVD mortality. However, when the subgroups were stratified by hypertension, the CVD mortality risk in prediabetes plus hypertension subjects increased significantly compared with population without prediabetes and hypertension. Multivariate-adjusted hazard ratios for CVD mortality in prediabetes subgroups plus hypertension were 2.28 (95% CI: 1.50, 3.47) for those diagnosed by FPG

Abstract Background Cardio-cerebrovascular diseases constitute a major global public health burden. Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) exposure has become progressively severe, endangering human health and becoming one of the main concerns in environmental pollution. The associations of VOCs exposure with nonfatal cardio-cerebrovascular events have not been identified in observational study with a large sample size, so we aim to examine the association in US adult population. Methods Adults aged > 18 years with complete data regarding selected blood levels of VOCs (including benzene, ethylbenzene, o-xylene, and m-/p-xylene) and nonfatal cardio-cerebrovascular events were included in the analysis (n = 3,968, National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, NHANES, 2013–2018 survey cycle). Participants were classified into low- and high-exposure based on whether above selected VOCs low limit detect concentration or median value. Weighted multivariate logistic analyses and subgroup analyses were used to detect the association between selected VOCs exposure and nonfatal cardio-cerebrovascular events in US adults. Results Weighted multivariate logistic analyses showed that the high-VOCs exposure group had an increased risk of nonfatal cardio-cerebrovascular events compared with the low-VOCs exposure group; the adjusted odds ratios (OR) and 95% confidence intervals (CI) of nonfatal cardio-cerebrovascular events for the high-VOCs exposure group were 1.41 (0.91, 2.19), 1.37 (0.96, 1.95), 1.32 (0.96, 1.82), and 1.17 (0.82, 1.67) for benzene, ethylbenzene, o-xylene, and m-/p-xylene, respectively, which was not significant assuming statistical significance at a 0.05 significance level (95% CI) for a two-tailed test. Lastly, we found high-VOCs exposure was associated with increased incidence of nonfatal cardio-cerebrovascular events in both daily smokers an non-daily smokers (p-interaction > 0.01), but the association was not statistically significant in non-daily smokers. Conclusions This study found that VOCs (benzene, ethylbenzene, o-xylene, and m-/p-xylene) exposure was associated with increased incidence of nonfatal cardio-cerebrovascular events in US adults, and the results need to be confirmed by larger cohort studies.

Here we reported two new triazole-based coordination polymers (CPs), i.e., [Zn(Hdatrz)(μ 2-O)]n (1) together with [Mn(Hdatrz)(C2O4)]n·n(H2O) (2) (Hdatrz = 3,5-diamino-1,2,4-triazole), which were generated under solvothermal conditions. The influence of different metal ions on the structure and properties of CPs was investigated. The CPs’ whole structures have been completely characterized by the powder X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. It is noteworthy that, upon excitation at 390 nm, ligands of compounds 1 and 2, as well as the metal complexes, all exhibit luminescence at 432 nm.

Abstract Background The association between the common carotid artery (CCA) diameter and cardiovascular disease (CVD) is recognized, but the precise nature of this link remains elusive. This study aimed to investigate the potential relationship between CCA diameter and the risk of CVD mortality in a large population in northeast China. Methods The current study included 5668 participants (mean age 58.9 ± 10.1 years) from a population-based study conducted in rural areas of northeast China between September 2017 and May 2018. Information on death was collected from baseline until July 31, 2022. The CCA inter-adventitial diameter was measured using ultrasound. Cox proportional-hazard models were employed to explore the relationship between the common carotid artery diameter and cardiovascular mortality. Results At baseline, the mean CCA diameter (mm) of subjects was 7.30 ± 0.99 and increased significantly with age, ranging from 6.65 ± 0.71 among people 40–49 years to 7.99 ± 1.04 among people ≥ 80 years. Microdroplets have many unique features such as small size and high electric field, therefore they can be accelerated to initiate chemical reactions and even promote some reactions that cannot be carried out in liquid phase. N, N-Dimethylaniline (DMA) is commonly used in medicine as a raw material for the synthesis of pharmaceutical intermediates. At present, the study involving in the detection of DMA is mainly focused on quantitative detection, and there is few reports on oxidation reaction and gas phase dissociation reaction of DMA. In this paper, the oxidation behavior and dissociation reaction of DMA and related compounds were studied by microdroplet spray mass spectrometry and tandem mass spectrometry. It was found that the ultra-high electric field spontaneously generated by microdroplets at the air-water interface can enable the oxidation reaction of DMA and related compounds to form abundant radical cation DMA+·. By changing the reaction distance, carrier gas pressure, injection velocity, sample concentration and substituent groups, the influence of experimental conditions and substituent modes on the generation of DMA+· was explored. The result showed that the presence of electron donor groups is benefit for the stability of radical cations. After the dissociation of DMA+·, the main product ions were generated by elimination of hydrogen radical and a successive elimination of HC≡N via methyl migration reaction. In addition, when the electron-donating CH3 group was connected with DMA, the intensity of related radical cation increased obviously, indicating that the electron-donating groups promoted the migration reaction. In conclusion, the stable transient intermediate DMA+· that is difficult to prepare by other means, was obtained by microdroplet reaction in this study. This method is helpful to deepen the understanding of the chemical promoted oxidation reaction characteristics of water droplets and enriches the rearrangement reaction types of aniline compounds in gas phase dissociation. It is expected that the prepared active species such as high reactivity radical cations will be applied to chemical industry or pharmaceutical fields in the future.

The neural crest represents a dynamic population of embryonic stem cells, playing a pivotal role in the development of the eye. Through interactions with the surrounding neuroectoderm, superficial ectoderm and mesoderm, the neural crest contributes to the formation of numerous ocular structures, encompassing the corneal stroma and endothelium, trabecular meshwork, iris stroma, ciliary muscle, vitreous and choroidal vessels, and Müller cells. Aberrant migration and development of neural crest cells within the eye can instigate a complex series of ocular diseases. Such diseases include anterior segment like Axenfeld-Rieger syndrome, Peters anomaly, aniridia, primary congenital glaucoma, and Nail-Patella syndrome. Defects that impact the posterior segment may lead to CHARGE syndrome and Branchio-oculo-facial syndrome. Further, rare neurocristopathies such as Waardenburg syndrome, Treacher-Collins syndrome, and Char syndrome can also present with ocular abnormalities. In this review, we explore the ocular diseases that arise from abnormal neural crest cell development, and delve into the related genes involved in neural crest migration and development. We further discuss how mutations and defects in these genes can precipitate ocular diseases.

BackgroundChronic kidney disease (CKD) is a common complication among individuals with hypertension. We aimed to identify the prevalence of CKD and the sex and race disparities within the hypertensive population in the United States from 2001–2016.MethodsA total of 16,148 participants with hypertension were included, representing 561,909,480 individuals from the U.S. population between 2001 and 2016, as documented in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. The prevalence of albuminuria and CKD stage were assessed using survey-weighted general linear regression analysis. Heterogeneity in the CKD stage among the hypertensive population, stratified by sex and race, was identified through survey-weighted logistic regression analysis.ResultsOverall, the prevalence of albuminuria remained stable (p for trend = 0.3196), and changes in the CKD stage were minimal (p for trend > 0.05) from 2001–2016. In the analysis of CKD stage heterogeneity by sex and race, the prevalence of CKD was higher among women than men and higher among individuals of other races combined than non-Hispanic Whites, but the differences were not statistically significant.ConclusionThe overall CKD stage within the hypertensive population plateaued between 2001 and 2016. Our findings highlight the importance of continuous monitoring and potential refinement of renoprotection strategies in individuals with hypertension to mitigate the persistent burden of CKD and address health disparities among different demographic groups.

ObjectiveTo understand the characteristics of the intestinal microbiota after oral tolerance in infants with food protein–induced proctocolitis (FPIAP) treated with amino acid formula and their differences from healthy children, aiming to provide a scientific basis for guiding the application of probiotics during treatment.MethodsFPIAP infants were prospectively enrolled, fecal specimens were obtained, and DNA was extracted for PCR amplification of the bacterial 16S rRNA gene V4 region. Library construction and sequencing were performed, and bioinformatic analysis was performed after obtaining valid data.ResultsThere were 36 patients in the FPIAP group: 20 males and 16 females, age 21.944 ± 13.277 months. Diarrhea with blood in the stool were the main symptom, with an average course of 14.83 ± 9.33 days. Thirty infants (83.33%) had mucus stool, 11.11% (4/36) of them experiencing vomiting, and 55.56% (20/36) of the infants displaying poor intake and weight gain, 28 (77.78%) patients with moderate eczema, 2 (5.6%) patients with chronic respiratory symptoms. The treatment time with amino acid formula was 5.51 ± 2.88 months. A control group comprising of 25 healthy infants who were full-term, natural delivery, bottle fed, and matched in terms of age (24.840 ± 12.680 months) and gender (15 males and 10 females) was selected. Anaerobic bacteria were less abundant in FPIAP infants than healthy infants (P = 4.811 × 10−5), but potentially pathogenic bacteria were more abundant (P = 0.000). The abundance of Actinobacteria was low in FPIAP infants, the abundance of Proteobacteria was high, and the abundance of Firmicutes was reduced. Bifidobacterium could be used as a bacterial genus to differentiate healthy and FPIAP infants. Both α-and β-diversity indicators of intestinal microbiota were lower in FPIAP infants. In FPIAP infants, glucose and energy metabolism and amino acid anabolism were decreased, and inflammation-related lipopolysaccharide synthesis pathways were increased.ConclusionCompared with healthy infants, FPIAP infants with oral tolerance after amino acid formula treatment had differences in the structure and diversity of intestinal microbiota, among which Bifidobacterium was significantly reduced. Summary: Rho GTPases are molecular switches regulating multiple cellular processes. To investigate the role of RhoA in normal intestinal physiology, we used a conditional mouse model overexpressing a dominant negative RhoA mutant (RhoAT19N) in the intestinal epithelium. Although RhoA inhibition did not cause an overt phenotype, increased levels of nuclear β-catenin were observed in the small intestinal epithelium of RhoAT19N mice, and the overexpression of multiple Wnt target genes revealed a chronic activation of Wnt signaling. Elevated Wnt signaling in RhoAT19N mice and intestinal organoids did not affect the proliferation of intestinal epithelial cells but significantly interfered with their differentiation. Importantly, 17-month-old RhoAT19N mice showed a significant increase in the number of spontaneous intestinal tumors. Altogether, our results indicate that RhoA regulates the differentiation of intestinal epithelial cells and inhibits tumor initiation, likely through the control of Wnt signaling, a key regulator of proliferation and differentiation in the intestine.

The study of quantum networks holds great significance in advancing the practicality of quantum information. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the development trajectory of quantum networks, this study categorizes quantum networks into three types: quantum cryptography, quantum cloud computing, and quantum teleportation networks, based on different application scenarios and technical approaches. It provides comprehensive reviews of both domestic and international research progress and the challenges faced in each aspect. Furthermore, in conjunction with the practical implementation of quantum networks, the key technologies that need to be overcome in the development of quantum network systems, involving link establishment, information transmission, networking protocols, and physical hardware, are summarized. Overall, the development of quantum networks is still in the primary stage. At this stage, actively addressing challenges and seizing opportunities are of great significance to enhance the technological prowess of China. Therefore, to promote the development of quantum network systems in China, suggestions are proposed from three aspects: strengthening investment in the research and development of fundamental hardware infrastructure, attaching importance to the theoretical research of quantum networks, and enhancing interdisciplinary research and talent cultivation.

Objective To study the effects of berberine on inflammatory factor levels and glucose and lipid metabolism in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) rats based on phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase (PI3K)/protein kinase B (Akt) pathway. Methods Forty SPF grade SD male rats were selected, of which 10 rats were randomly selected as normal group, and the other 30 rats were constructed as T2DM model rats ［divided into model group (10 rats), metformin positive control group (10 rats) and berberine group (10 rats) randomly］. The levels of inflammatory factors ［tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)、 C-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin-1β (IL-1β)］, lipid metabolism indexes ［low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), free fatty acid (FFA)］, and glucose metabolism indexes [fasting insulin (FINS), fasting blood glucose (FBG), insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR)]. The expressions of PI3K, Akt and p-PI3Kp85 proteins in pancreatic tissue were detected. Objective: To explore the differential expression profiles of DNA methylation sites/regions and potential molecular mechanisms in the peripheral blood of coronary heart disease (CHD)-induced unstable angina pectoris patients with or without Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome, and to provide scientific evidence for the conbination of disease and syndrome. Methods: According to the pre-determined inclusion and exclusion criteria, the study subjects were enrolled and divided into two groups namely CHD-induced unstable angina group (G group) and healthy control group (J group) to conduct “disease” analysis, while G group was further divided into Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome group (case group) and non-Qi deficiency blood stasis syndrome group (control group) to perform “syndrome” analysis. The general data and clinical information of the study subjects were collected. The peripheral venous blood was extracted on an empty stomach, and the Illumina Infinium MethylationEPIC BeadChip (850K methylation chip) was used to detect the differential expression profiles of DNA methylation in each group, ChAMP software (V 2.14.0) was used for the differential methylation data analysis, with a threshold of the adjusted P value (adj.P.val) < 0.01. Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genomes (KEGG) were employed for the functional and pathway enrichment analyses of related mapped genes. Results: A total of 263 differentially methylated CpG positions (DMPs) were screened out between G and J groups, including 191 hypermethylated positions such as cg05845204 and cg08906898, and 72 hypomethylated positions such as cg26919182 and cg13149459. These positions were mainly mapped to 148 genes encompassing RNA binding motif protein 39 (RBM39), acetyl-CoA acyltransferase 2 (ACAA2), protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 12B (PPP1R12B), and the dual-specificity tyrosine phosphorylation-regulated kinase 2 (DYRK2). GO functional enrichment analysis revealed that the genes of the DMPs were primarily enriched in protein localization to chromosomes, regulation of cell morphogenesis, negative regulation of calcium-mediated signals, etc. KEGG pathway analysis suggested that the genes were mainly enriched in fatty acid metabolism and endocytosis pathways. In addition, a total of 23 differential methylation regions (DMRs) were identified, with overlapping genes such as transmembrane protein 232 (TMEM232), ribosomal protein large P1 (RPLP1), peroxisomal biogenesis factor 10 (PEX10), and forkhead box N3 (FOXN3) recognized. It was found that GO functions were mainly enriched in the negative regulation of Ras protein signal transduction, small GTPase-mediated signal transduction, negative regulation, etc. A total of 1 703 differential methylation sites were screened out between case and control groups, including 444 increased methylation positions such as cg05573767 and 1 259 decreased methylationpositions such as cg19938535, and cg03893872. These positions were mapped to 1108 genes such as ribosomal protein S6 kinase A2 (RPS6KA2), leucine rich repeat containing 16A (LRRC16A), and hedgehog acyltransferase (HHAT). According to the GO functional enrichment analysis, the genes relating to the DMPs were mainly enriched in biological functions such as transmembrane receptor protein serine/threonine kinase signaling pathway and axonogenesis. The KEGG pathway enrichment analysis suggested the involvement of Rap1 signaling pathway, adenosine 5’-monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK) signaling pathway, etc. A total of 21 DMRs were identified, including 22 overlapping genes such as mucin 4 (MUC4), three prime repair exonuclease 1 (TREX1), and LIM homeobox 6 (LHX6). GO analysis demonstrated that the genes primarily participated in molecular functions such as positive regulation of transmembrane transport, regulation of fatty acid metabolism, and copper ion binding. Conclusion: This study reveals the methylation patterns of DMPs and DMRs in patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome caused by CHD-induced unstable angina pectoris. Potential epigenetic regulation of fatty acid metabolism, Rap1 signaling, and other molecular functions are involved in the development of CHD between the ''disease'' and ''syndrome''.

The Pestalotiopsis sp. strain cr013 is a mycoparasite of Cronartium ribicola, a potential biocontrol fungus for Armand pine (Pinus armandii) blister rust. A previous study showed that the strain cr013 has great potential to produce new compounds. However, there has been no report of the whole-genome sequence of the mycoparasite Pestalotiopsis sp. In this study, the BGISEQ-500 and Oxford Nanopore GridION X5 sequencing platforms were used to sequence the strain cr013 isolates and assemble the reads to obtain the complete genome. We first report the whole-genome information of the mycoparasite Pestalotiopsis sp. strain cr013 (GenBank accession number: JACFXT010000000, BioProject ID: PRJNA647543, BioSample ID: SAMN15589943), and the genomic components and gene functions related to the mycoparasitism process were analyzed. This study provides a theoretical basis for understanding the lifestyle strategy of the mycoparasite Pestalotiopsis sp. and reveals the mechanisms underlying secondary metabolite diversity in the strain cr013.

Aiming at the main problems existing in the jumping robot, combined with the galago senegalensis monkey's characteristics of small sizes, stable and explosive jumping, a kind of galago senegalensis monkey single leg jumping robot is proposed in this study, and its main structure and control system are designed. Based on the principle of the Stephenson's six-bar linkage, a planar eight-bar linkage for the leg of simulating galago senegalensis monkey robot is designed, and its trajectory is optimized to obtain the bar length parameters with the best jumping ability. The three directions of the robot's jumping are controlled and adjusted, and the double closed-loop feedback control system is used to ensure the stability of the robot's attitude when taking off, soaring in the air, and landing on the ground. Finally, the physical verification model of the robot is established. The total weight is only 395.5 g, and the overall height is 250 mm. The experimental results show that the simulating single leg robot can achieve continuous and stable jumping, the highest jumping speed can reach 20 m/s, and the response time at a jumping height of 100 mm is 0.1 s.

In situ disulfide bond formation affords a new flexible dicarboxylic acid ligand of 3,3′-dithiobisbenzoic acid (3,3′-H2DTBA), which assembled with Co(ii) ions under hydrothermal conditions, generating a novel metal–organic framework (MOF), namely, [Co(3,3′-DTBA)2(H2O)2]n (1). This compound is assembled from layered structures, featuring weak interlayer interactions that can reduce pore blockage through relative sliding. The results of photocatalytic experiment indicate that MOF 1 is a good semiconducting material and it can function as photocatalyst for degrading methylene blue under the ultraviolet light irradiation. Cyclic experiments demonstrated its good stability and long-lasting photocatalytic performance, indicating its potential application value.

In the context of increasing application of autonomous-rail rapid transit (ART) at home and abroad, in order to meet the diverse power system requirements in various scenarios and the operating range demands in different operation modes, this paper presents the design of a hybrid power system based on fuel cells and lithium iron phosphate power batteries, taking into account the characteristics of different energy sources and the operating conditions of autonomous-rail rapid tram. Taking hydrogen fuel cells as the main on-board energy source, this system guarantees a long range for the trams, thanks to the characteristics of rapid power response of the lithium iron phosphate power batteries. A redundant energy system architecture of fuel cells is configured to meet the power demands of the entire trams without increasing space occupation on the tram roof, in addition to greatly extending their operating ranges. This paper also proposes a set of energy control strategies tailored to the operating conditions of autonomous-rail rapid tram, to ensure their smooth operation under various operating conditions and to control the state of charge (SOC) of the power batteries within the target range by combining the energy output form of the hybrid system with the characteristics of autonomous-rail rapid tram in the actual operating conditions. The results from the operation test conducted with real trams show that the hydrogen hybrid system and energy control strategies can meet the design requirements of hydrogen autonomous-rail rapid tram and the tram can reach a range of more than 300 km, a substantial increase from the previous 70 km, which demonstrates the proposed energy control strategies contribute to the improved operational ability and extended operating range in different operational scenarios, in addition to meeting requirements of various operating conditions.

Objective: To establish a HPLC method for simultaneous determination of rutin, hyperoside, quercetin in Xiang lotus. Methods: The HPLC method was performed on an Agilent ZORBAX SB-C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 m) with gradient elution of methanol and 0.6% phosphoric acid solution. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min. The column temperature was 30 ℃ and the detection wavelength was set at 255 nm. Results: The contents of rutin, hypericin and quercetin in 20 batches of lotus samples were 1.32~2.06, 1.36~2.43, 1.41~3.26 mg/kg, respectively. The linear range of the concentration of rutin, hypericin and quercetin was 5~200 g/mL (R2=0.999 9), the three flavonoids showed a good linearity, a high sensitivity, and good serviceability. The relative standard deviation (RSD) for precision, stability, repeatability, and recoveries test were all less than 4.0%, and the average recovery rate of added standard were 96.6%, 96.9%, 97.4%, respecitvely. Conclusion: The method is convenient and accurate, and can be used for the content determination and quality evaluation of flavonoids in Xiang lotus.

Objective To investigate the effect of vitamin A (VA) deficiency on lung injury in meconium aspiration syndrome (MAS) in newborn rats. Methods After pregnant rats were fed with normal and deficient VA diet, 25 VA-deficient (VAD) and 25 VA-normal (VAN) neonatal SD rats (7 days old) were obtained, respectively. These rats were used to establish MAS mode. The results of blood gas analysis and wet/dry mass ratio of lung tissue were recorded, compared and analyzed in each group. HE staining was employed to evaluate lung tissue injury. The contents of SP-A protein, SP-C protein, IL-6, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in lung tissue were detected by ELISA. β-alanine and other metabolites in the lung tissue was measured with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Results The pH value (P=0.003) and base excess (BE) (P=0.019) were significantly lower in the newborn rats from the VAD group than the VAN group. The VAD group had obviously higher partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PCO2) (P=0.049), wet/dry mass ratio of lung tissue (P=0.001), and contents of IL-6 (P=0.002), VEGF (P=0.003) and TNF-α (P=0.019) than the VAD group, suggesting more serious lung inflammation in the VAD group. Further metabolomic analysis showed that the major signaling pathways between VAD and VAN groups included β-alanine metabolism, cGMP-PKG signaling pathway, olfactory transduction pathway, and neural active ligand-receptor interaction pathway. The result of HPLC indicated that β-alanine was notably up-regulated in rats from the VAD group than the VAN group (P=0.000). Conclusion VAD can aggravate lung injury by up-regulating MAS inflammatory factors, which may be related to the changes in β-alanine metabolic pathways caused by VAD.

A novel Cd(II) compound, namely [Cd6(TCA)4(4-bpmh)(DMA)2(H2O)2]n·4n(H2O) (denoted as 1, H3TCA = 4,4′,4″-tricarboxytriphenylamine, 4-bpmh = N,N-bis(pyridin-4-ylmethylene)hydrazine, and DMA = N,N′-dimethylacetamine), has been solvothermally prepared via a dual-ligand strategy that employs two organic ligands to fulfill different functions. The solid of compound 1 shows blue luminescence at room temperature.

The cross-cultural perspective emphasizes the principle of cultural equality, stresses the change of concepts, and seeks to cultivate high-quality talents in the needs of the new era. This paper analyzes the necessity of cross-cultural identity in English talent cultivation, analyzes the curriculum system of English professional talent cultivation based on the cross-cultural perspective, and constructs the professional cultivation practice links complementary to the primary and secondary lines. Utilizing the CIPP evaluation model, we build the four assessment links of background assessment, input assessment, process assessment, and outcome assessment for English talent cultivation quality assessment, and we select the improved hierarchical analysis method to calculate the weights of the indicators. The actual teaching quality of English talent cultivation in colleges and universities is determined by the scores of students and teachers on the assessment indicators. Suggestions and demands are being put forward for the English talent cultivation system. The analysis obtains that among the four first-level indicators, the scores of English talent cultivation evaluation are, in descending order, the assessment of talent cultivation results, the assessment of talent cultivation process, the assessment of talent cultivation inputs, and the assessment of talent cultivation background, in which the total score of English talent cultivation quality evaluation is 4.325, which is at a reasonable level.

In today’s era of rapid scientific and technological advancements, the deep integration of artificial intelligence technology and education is paving the way for intelligent development in English education. This paper designs the architecture of the interactive platform for English education in colleges and universities based on artificial intelligence technology, provides relevant tools for interaction assistance, and establishes an analysis model of students’ online learning interactions. To promote the diversity of English test papers, an improved genetic algorithm is utilised for the intelligent grouping of English test papers. A collaborative filtering algorithm is used to intelligently predict students’ English grades by considering the time sequence of English courses. Performance tests were designed to verify the effectiveness of the application of the interactive platform for English education. The intelligent paper grouping took an average of 1.247 seconds, and the discrepancy between the predicted and actual English course grades did not surpass one grade. The interactive platform for English education had a minimum response time of 1.69 ms, and the application server didn’t use more than 10% of its total CPU. The interactive platform, which combines artificial intelligence technology with English education, provides a new path for innovating teaching methods in English education.

Given the scarcity of algorithms for classifying power grid work order texts, coupled with challenges such as sparse features, lack of structure, and large data scale, this paper proposes a text classification model based on the Roberta-RCNN framework that incorporates a channel attention mechanism. The model employs the Roberta model for word vectors, masks entities and word semantic units, and links them to the Transformer encoding layer to encode the word embedding vectors output by the Roberta layer. This approach addresses model overfitting and enhances generalization ability. The RCNN model employs a channel attention mechanism to optimize feature extraction, allowing the model to focus more on learning feature representations from various channels, followed by softmax classification. Experimental results on the THUCNews short text dataset demonstrate improved evaluation metrics compared to existing methods. Comparative experiments on a self-compiled power grid work order dataset show that the proposed algorithm model achieves higher accuracy compared to other models. This indicates its effectiveness in extracting feature information from text and addressing the challenges of power grid work order text classification with promising classification performance.

With the development of Chinese international education, the construction of Chinese culture teaching resources has become a priority. This study uses knowledge mapping technology to optimize Chinese culture teaching resources in Chinese international education and improve the usability and efficiency of teaching resources. The study adopts a top-down approach to construct a knowledge graph of Chinese culture teaching resources, covering named entity identification, relationship extraction and knowledge meta-extraction. BERT and BiLSTM techniques are used for feature extraction, text encoding, and conditional random field algorithm for knowledge meta-extraction and relationship mining. The experimental results show that the information utilization rate of intelligent retrieval of teaching resources using this knowledge graph is 82.67% and shows good adaptability in applications between different geographical regions. In addition, through comparative experiments, the proposed method in this study performs better than the traditional method in improving the utilization efficiency of teaching resources. This study proves the effectiveness and practicality of knowledge mapping in constructing Chinese culture teaching resources in Chinese international education.
