On 15 March 2022, the European Council reached an agreement on the relevant rules of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). In order to study the impact of the implementation of carbon tariffs on China’s agricultural trade, this paper sets three control groups, namely, economic development, the impact of the “Belt and Road” initiative’s (BRI’s) trade facilitation level, and separate taxation by different countries, and uses the dynamic Global Trade Analysis Project—Environment (GTAP-E) model for policy simulation. The empirical results show that, firstly, carbon tariffs can suppress international demand for agricultural products and increase international market prices. At the same time, under the pressure of carbon tariffs, China will reduce the main agricultural product’s Free on Board (FOB) prices to ensure that their Cost, Insurance and Freight (CIF) prices can maintain a competitive advantage in the international market after increasing the cost of carbon tariffs, and the market share of China’s agricultural products exported to recipient countries will decline. Secondly, China’s “Belt and Road” initiative has a two-way impact on carbon tariff policy. On the one hand, it reduces the negative impact of carbon tariffs through trade facilitation, and on the other hand, it will decrease the effectiveness of carbon emission reduction because of the huge trade demand and encourage countries to develop green and low-carbon agriculture. Finally, there is heterogeneity in the impact of carbon tariffs imposed by the United States, Japan, and Europe on Chinese agricultural trade.

The wear resistance and corrosion resistance of chromium-free fingerprint-resistant pure zinc and Zn-Al-Mg coated cold-rolled steel sheets were studied by micro-friction wear experiments and neutral salt spray experiments. Two products are worn for a long time with a large load (5N load, 50 times abrasion), the depth of wear zone of Zn-Al-Mg coating product is 9% shallower than that of pure zinc coating product, and the width of wear zone is 15.4% smaller. Both products still meet the requirements of use after corrosion. The corrosion resistance of two products after degreasing treatment was significantly reduced. The Mg and Al in the Zn-Al-Mg coating can hinder the progress of corrosion, so it has better corrosion resistance.

A principle investigation of the fingerprint resistance, alcohol resistance, solvent resistance, humidity resistance, high temperature resistant yellow degeneration and black tarnish resistance of pure Zinc and Zn-Al-Mg coating were performed in this study. To detect above surface performance and make some constructive suggestions, a series of simulations experiments and a surface performance evaluation system based on light color differentiation measurement instrument were designed. The results show that the two products both can meet the needs of users in above-mentioned surface performance, besides pure Zinc coated product has more advantages in this performance in comparison to Zn-Al-Mg coated product. Users should pay attention to clean the fingerprint regularly which attached to the surface of the steel plate during use and the protection with the exposed surfaces of the steel during shipping.

Background: Panax notoginseng (Burkill) F. H. Chen is a Chinese medicinal plant of the Araliaceae family commonly used in the treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in Asia and elsewhere. To meet an increase in Chinese herbal medicine market demand, most P. notoginseng is planted artificially, and is vulnerable to various plant diseases. Root rot disease, in particular, causes substantial P. notoginseng yield reduction and economic losses. High-depth next-generation sequencing technology was used to analyze the rhizosphere and root endophyte microbial communities of P. notoginseng to compare the characteristics of these two communities between healthy and root rot diseased P. notoginseng plants, and to clarify the relationship between these microbial communities and root rot disease.Results: The P. notoginseng rhizosphere microbial community was more diverse than the root endophyte community, and the difference in functional pathways between healthy and diseased P. notoginseng plants was greater in the root endophyte than in the rhizosphere communities. Multi-database annotation results showed that the highest number of endophytic bacteria occurred in the roots of diseased plants. The number of carbohydrate-active enzymes database families was also higher in diseased roots. The RND antibiotic efflux function was higher in the healthy samples. A high abundance of Variovorax paradoxus and Pseudomonas fluorescens occurred in the healthy and diseased root endophyte communities, respectively. Ilyonectria mors-panacis and Pseudopyrenochaeta lycopersici were most abundant in the diseased samples. In addition, the complete genome of two unknown Flavobacteriaceae species and one unknown Bacteroides species were obtained based on binning analysis.Conclusions: The rhizosphere and root endophyte microbial communities of healthy and root rot diseased P. notoginseng showed marked differences in diversity and functional pathways. The higher mapping values obtained for the diseased samples reflected the occurrence of root rot disease at the molecular level. Variovorax paradoxus and Pseudomonas fluorescens may be antagonistic bacteria of root rot in P. notoginseng, whereas Ilyonectria mors-panacis and Pseudopyrenochaeta lycopersici appear to be P. notoginseng root rot pathogens. Our study provides a theoretical basis for understanding the occurrence of root rot in P. notoginseng and for further research on potential biological control agents.

Resampling detection plays an important role in identifying image tampering, such as image splicing. Currently, the resampling detection is still difficult in recompressed images, which are yielded by applying resampling followed by post-JPEG compression to primary JPEG images. Except for the scenario of low quality primary compression, it remains rather challenging due to the widespread use of middle/high quality compression in imaging devices. In this paper, we propose a new convolution neural network (CNN) method to learn the resampling trace features directly from the recompressed images. To this end, a noise extraction layer based on low-order high pass filters is deployed to yield the image residual domain, which is more beneficial to extract manipulation trace features. A dual-stream CNN is presented to capture the resampling trails along different directions, where the horizontal and vertical network streams are interleaved and concatenated. Lastly, the learned features are fed into Sigmoid/Softmax layer, which acts as a binary/multiple classifier for achieving the blind detection and parameter estimation of resampling, respectively. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that our proposed method could detect resampling effectively in recompressed images and outperform the state-of-the-art detectors.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES To explore the effects of a home care mobile app on the outcomes of stoma patients who discharged from hospital. BACKGROUND Patients with a newly formed stoma experience many difficulties after surgery. Mobile application (app) has the potential to help patients self-manage their diseases and adjust to the changes in their lives and is a convenient way to ensure the continuity of care. However, there is a lack of studies about the effects of a mobile app on the transitional care for improving discharged stoma-related health outcomes. DESIGN A randomised controlled trial. METHODS A total of 203 patients with a permanent stoma in tertiary hospitals in China were randomly assigned into two groups. Patients in the control group (n = 103) received routine discharge care. Patients in the intervention group (n = 100) received home care via a mobile app besides routine care. The psychosocial adjustment level, self-efficacy scale and stoma complications incidence were measured in the follow-up period and compared between the two groups. Background: The present study aimed to explore whether gastric cancer patients with peritoneal seeding after receiving palliative chemotherapy could benefit from gastrectomy and to identify patients with peritoneal seeding who should be selected to receive gastrectomy. Methods: A total of 201 gastric cancer patients were diagnosed with peritoneal seeding and received palliative chemotherapy. Propensity score matching (PSM) was performed to balance the selection bias. Objective: Endothelial cells (EC) in obese adipose tissue (AT) are exposed to a chronic proinflammatory environment that may induce a mesenchymal-like phenotype and altered function. The objective of this study was to establish whether endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EndoMT) is present in human AT in obesity and to investigate the effect of such transition on endothelial function and the endothelial particulate secretome represented by extracellular vesicles (EV). Approach and Results: We identified EndoMT in obese human AT depots by immunohistochemical co-localization of CD31 or vWF and α-SMA (alpha-smooth muscle actin). We showed that AT EC exposed in vitro to TGF-β (tumor growth factor-β), TNF-α (tumor necrosis factor-α), and IFN-γ (interferon-γ) undergo EndoMT with progressive loss of endothelial markers. The phenotypic change results in failure to maintain a tight barrier in culture, increased migration, and reduced angiogenesis. EndoMT also reduced mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation and glycolytic capacity of EC. EVs produced by EC that underwent EndoMT dramatically reduced angiogenic capacity of the recipient naïve ECs without affecting their migration or proliferation. Proteomic analysis of EV produced by EC in the proinflammatory conditions showed presence of several pro-inflammatory and immune proteins along with an enrichment in angiogenic receptors. Conclusions: We demonstrated the presence of EndoMT in human AT in obesity. EndoMT in vitro resulted in production of EV that transferred some of the functional and metabolic features to recipient naïve EC. This result suggests that functional and molecular features of EC that underwent EndoMT in vivo can be disseminated in a paracrine or endocrine fashion and may induce endothelial dysfunction in distant vascular beds.

Music emotion recognition is an important topic in music information retrieval area. A lot of acoustic features are used to train a music classification or regression emotion model. However, these existing features may not be efficient for classification or regression task. Furthermore, most works do not explain why these features do work for classification. In our work, eight features are extracted to represent the arousal dimension of music emotion, and various commonly used statistical learning methods such as Logistic Regression, and tree-based methods are applied to interpret important features. Then the shrinkage methods are applied to feature selection and classification in music emotion recognition for the first time. Our tests show that the proposed approaches are efficient for feature selection just as entropy-based filter methods, and better than wrapper methods. The shrinkage methods can produce more continuous and low variance model than wrapper methods. Then, we discover that the most useful features are low specific loudness sensation coefficients (low-SONE), root mean square and loudness-flux. Moreover, the shrinkage methods apply in logistic regression perform better for classification than most of other methods. We get an average accuracy rate of 83.8 %.

Notch signaling, a critical pathway in cell fate determination, is well known to be involved in immune and inflammatory reactions, whereas its role in acute lung injury (ALI) remains unclear. Here, we report that notch signal activity is upregulated in lung tissue harvested from an ALI mouse model (induced by zymosan). We showed that notch signal activity in lung tissue was increased 6 h after zymosan injection and peaked at 24 h. Inhibition of notch signaling by either pre- or post-zymosan treatment with N-[N-(3,5-difluorophenacetyl)-l-alanyl]-(S)-phenylglycine t-butyl ester (DAPT) significantly reduced lung injury, characterized by improvement in lung histopathology, lung permeability (protein concentration in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid and lung wet-to-dry weight ratio), lung inflammation (bronchoalveolar lavage fluid cell count, lung myeloperoxidase, and tumor necrosis factor α), and also alleviated systemic inflammation and tissue damage, thus increasing the 7-day survival rate in zymosan-challenged mice. In conclusion, the role of notch signaling is functionally significant in the development of ALI. Inhibition of notch signaling by pretreatment or posttreatment with DAPT likely exerts its effects in part by mediating the expression of proinflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines and influencing tissue neutrophil recruitment. These results also imply that notch inhibitors may help attenuate local inflammatory lung damage.

Background It has been well documented that a variant allele of mitochondrial aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 (ALDH2), ALDH2*2, commonly occurs in East Asians but rarely in other ethnic populations. In order to analyze the noise properties and promote the sound comfort of the high-speed train, the noise samples are collected in passengers cars, dining cars and car joint parts at different speeds. By means of 18 sound samples, the psychoacoustic parameters of the high-speed train are discussed. Before calculation of other psychoacoustic properties, the calculation method of loudness must be properly chosen through analysis of all loudness calculation method. In the paper, the Filter/ISO 532B method is selected to obtain the loudness of the high-speed train and based on the loudness; other psychoacoustic properties are obtained and analyzed. The discussion of psychoacoustic properties is the basis of further noise evaluation and control of high-speed trains.

These applications can realize the real-time monitoring of the intelligent park that includes the all kinds of electric parameters and the operation state, also can find the fault and alarm in order to guarantee equipment normal operation, provide security support for reliability service of the power system equipment and technical support for loading coordination optimization control.

Under the background of China rapid development of high-speed train, this paper aims at prediction of the aerodynamic noise of train, which plays a key factor for controlling the train noise. In order to develop the prediction model of the aerodynamic noise of train, first the finite and boundary element theory are utilized to calculate the fluctuation pressure of the motion train; then Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA) model of the train noise is built and the SEA parameters are calculated. Based on the above models, the prediction method of aerodynamic noise of train is developed to calculate the train noise with train velocity.

For the reason that dominant colors can characterize color information of image region and can represent the image using fewer dimensions, it is one of the widely used color features in image retrieval. We extract the dominant color feature in HSV color space, and combine it with color distribution information. In this paper, a new similarity measurement algorithm based on block distance is proposed for dominant color matching. Our proposed algorithm not only takes the distance between dominant colors into account, but also the difference of the percentage of dominant colors. The average precision of our algorithm improves about 5% and about 14% respectively compared with block distance and Euclidean distance. Although the average precision of our algorithm is almost equal to quadratic form distance, the computation cost of our algorithm is obviously less than it.

In the paper the energy consumption level model is established. The energy efficiency level of the enterprise is evaluated from three angles including the historical trend, the industry enterprise mean value and order of whole enterprise, and then grades are given for them. And the reasonable weight is given by synthesizing evaluation results of three angles, to get the comprehensive evaluation result. Then reasonable proposals are proposed for the enterprise based on the assessment results, which make the enterprise adjust energy-using behavior, to reduce the energy consumption and save electricity, and finally to provide decision-making basis for enterprise demand side response, saving energy and reducing consumption.

The aim of this study was to assess the applicability of autofluorescence (AF) spectroscopy as a method for the diagonosis of normal, benign and malignant of dysplasia in colorectal tissues experimentally. By improvement of optical design in laser pulse generator, wavelength-adjustable output was acquired and the optimal wavelength was defined as 380 nm. With 380-nm pulsed laser excitation, AF spectra of normal, benign and malignant colorectal tissues were recorded in the spectra region from 460-570 nm in vitro. The spectral analysis for discrimination among the different types of tissues was carried out using principal component analysis (PCA)-based Neural networks algorithm. The performance of analysis was pretty good with sensitivity, specificity and accuracy found to be 100%,90% and 96.7%, respectively. The AF spectroscopy may serve as an excellent tool for the evaluation of dysplasia in colorectal clinical diagnosis.

Structural noise radiation prediction is the base of structure acoustic design. In order to predict structural noise radiation level of cavitation generator, Statistical energy analysis (SEA) model of cavitation generator is simplified and established. Through a series of physical and environmental parameters setting and structure modification, the sound simulation analysis of cavitation generator is conducted by AutoSEA in order to find the optimum sound structure. The results show that, appropriate increasing in shell thickness, restructuring the cavitation generator and damp applying can effectively control the structure noise.

Though the cars make our life more convenient, they are pumping huge amounts of waste gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very harmful, they can cause disease and even death. Through investigation and research, the paper takes forth street cleaner as a solution to the air problem and in the meanwhile, city landscape is incorporated into the design of street cleaner. Considering its feasibility, the cleaner will be proposed to be fixed on pole of street lamp. Through the fixing method, the power supply of cleaner can either rely on the street lamp or wind energy and solar energy. The cleaner can both alleviate the city air pollution and be a city landscape and give a novel idea to control city air pollution.

With the research of the landscape design and park seats, this project proposes flower as the developing form of the park seats, with the lily as the final design choice for a new seat in the parks. The specific structural forms of the seats are designed in accordance with the characteristics of lily, and the materials for the seats are chosen based on the park seats and bionics design. An integration of landscape and bionics in this design brings an innovation for the design of the landscape and seats in the parks.

Good sound-feeling is more important than noise strength for industrial products, especially for household appliances. In the paper, the control method of good sound-feeling of vacuum cleaner is researched based on the theory of soundscape. For the purpose, a special method of sound forge and evaluation technology (SFET) is utilized. For the method, first the spectrum of vacuum cleaner is analyzed to obtain its spectrum characteristics. Second by means of spectrum forge technology, the frequency spectrum of vacuum cleaner is modified and compiled to make the testing samples. Third based on the sound subjective evaluation, the optimum compiled sound sample of vacuum cleaner is acquired. At last, according to the optimum sound sample, the structure of product is modified to obtain product sound of good-feeling. In the paper, the spectrum of vacuum cleaner noise is analyzed, according to the spectrum, the method of sound forge is discussed. In the end of the paper, the virtual simulation of soundscape of vacuum cleaner is designed by means of some software to give an example of optimizing soudscape.

Full consideration and prediction of noise problem of product will be helpful to improve its quality, shorten production period and reduce cost of product. The microperforated panel is a kind of special absorbing material, through proper control of diameter, perforation rate, cavity length , number of panel and so on, the peak value, frequency band of absorption coefficient can be controlled. According to the absorption coefficient characteristics, the microperforated panel can be used to control some special noise structure. Based on the idea, the engineering software matlab is utilized in the paper to simulate the microperforated panel construction to obtain some useful microperforated panel construction for practical noise control.

As a rare sugar alcohol, L-arabitol can be used in food and can prevent extra fat deposits in the intestinal tract. Commercially, L-arabitol is prepared from pure L-arabinose by hydrogenation, which needs a high temperature and high pressure, leading to a high production cost for Larabitol. Therefore, this study describes a novel L-arabitol production method based on biological purification from the xylitol mother liquor, a cheap and readily available raw material that contains a high concentration of Larabitol. First, a novel Bacillus megaterium strain was screened that can utilize xylitol, sorbitol, and mannitol, yet not L-arabitol. The isolated strain was inoculated into a medium containing the xylitol mother liquor under formulated culture conditions, where a high L-arabitol yield (95%) and high purity (80%) were obtained when the medium was supplemented with 50 g/l of xylitol mother liquor. Upon further purification of the fermentation broth by ion exchange and decolorization, L-arabitol was crystallized with a purity of 98.5%.

Welding smoke and arc are extremely occupational hazards to the operators. A mobile welding protective device is designed for scattered welding operation. In order to protect operators from welding arc injury and collect welding smoke, a novel welding covering is designed for use of purification device. On the other hand, owing to the large amount of welding smoke, the ordinary filtering material is not suitable for welding smoke purification; the metal-cotton is utilized to pre-filter the welding smoke. In the end, the protective device against welding arc and smoke is designed and tested. The device is effective for mobile welding operation.

In recent years, coal price has risen rapidly, which has also brought a sharp increase in the expenditures of thermal power plants in China. Meantime, the power production price and power retail price have not been adjusted accordingly and a large number of thermal power plants have incurred losses. The power industry is a key industry in the national economy. As such, a thorough analysis and evaluation of the economic influence of the electricity price should be conducted before electricity price adjustment is carried out. This paper analyses the influence of coal price adjustment on the electric power industry, and the influence of electricity price adjustment on the macroeconomy in China based on computable general equilibrium models. The conclusions are as follows: (1) a coal price increase causes a rise in the cost of the electric power industry, but the influence gradually descends with increase in coal price; and (2) an electricity price increase has an adverse influence on the total output, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and the Consumer Price Index (CPI). Electricity price increases have a contractionary effect on economic development and, consequently, electricity price policy making must consequently consider all factors to minimize their adverse influence.

The present paper studies neck muscles’ sEMG signals of 10 healthy young male subjects in supine position. The study focused on the signal processing and analysis of sternocleidomastoids (SCM). The results showed that there was a certain relationship between the sEMG signals and neck height. Linear analysis presented that integral EMG (IEMG), mean power frequency (MPF) and median frequency (MF) first decreases, then increases when the neck height increases. Entropy and Lempel-Ziv complexity value shows the similar trend in the nonlinear analysis. This study verifies the validity of neck muscle fatigue judging based on the sEMG signal feature analysis method, also provides a reasonable range of height of neck when people are in supine position.
