Two lead(ii) coordination complexes with 2-(4-fluoro-phenyl)-1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline formulated as [Pb(L)2(tlba)2)] (1) and [Pb(L)(dpea)]2 (2) (HTLBA = 2,3,4,5-tetrachlorobenzoic acid, H2dpea = diphenic acid) were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. In 1, the neighboring [Pb(L)2(tlba)2)] molecules formed into a two-dimensional (2D) layer structure with C–Cl⋯π interactions and N–H⋯O hydrogen bond interactions. For 2, Pb1 and Pb1i ions are connected by four carboxylate groups from two dpea anions to yield a binuclear unit. Two L ligands are situated in two flanks of the dimer. The L ligands from dimers in the vicinity pile up by two π–π interactions to form a 2D supramolecular structure. Moreover, PXRD of 2 was also studied.

A new two-dimensional (2D) metal–organic complex, [Pb(L)(I)(sba)0.5]2 (1, L = 2-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline, H2sba = suberic acid), was synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. The single-crystal X-ray analysis indicates that the asymmetric unit of complex 1 has a distorted [:PbIN2O2] octahedral geometry. It is further extended by two π–π stacking interactions and N–H⋯O hydrogen bonding to form and stabilize 2D supramolecular layer.

A novel coordination polymer, [Pb(L)(1,3-bdc)]·2H2O (1), (L = 2-(2,6-dichlorophenyl)-1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline, 1,3-H2bdc = 1,3-benzenedicarboxylic acid) has been successfully prepared under hydrothermal conditions. The structure of 1 is a 1D chain structure, which further stacks together to form a 3D supramolecular architecture by π–π interactions and C–H⋯π interactions. In addition, the thermogravimetric analysis of 1 has been investigated.

BackgroundAssessment of the risks of stroke and then initiation of primary prevention are crucial to reducing the incidence rate of stroke. Trimethylamine-N-oxide (TMAO) is a recently discovered intestinal microbial metabolite, whose relationships with the risks of stroke have been rarely reported.ObjectiveTo explore the correlation between serum TMAO levels and the risks of acute ischemic stroke (AIS) .MethodsWith the supporting by the project of the National Health Commission (stroke high risk population screening and intervention) , five hundred cases were randomly selected from the stroke screening population in the New Urban Community of Hohhot city of Inner Mongolia from October to December 2020. Finally, 399 cases were included according to the set of standard, and then the 399 cases were divided into normal control group (n=121) , moderate AIS risk group (n=141) , and high AIS risk group (n=137) in accordance with the screening results (score of stroke risk rated using a scoring card) . Demographic and laboratory indices (including serum TMAO detected using ELISA) of all cases were collected. Pearson correlation test and Spearman rank correlation test were conducted to measure the correlation of TMAO with AIS risks. Multinomial and ordinal Logistic regressions were used to explore the influencing factors of AIS risks. Bariatric surgeries are integral to the management of obesity and its metabolic complications. However, these surgeries cause bone loss and increase fracture risk through poorly understood mechanisms. In a mouse model, vertical sleeve gastrectomy (VSG) caused trabecular and cortical bone loss that was independent of sex, body weight, and diet, and this loss was characterized by impaired osteoid mineralization and bone formation. VSG had a profound effect on the bone marrow niche, with rapid loss of marrow adipose tissue, and expansion of myeloid cellularity, leading to increased circulating neutrophils. Following VSG, circulating granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) was increased in mice, and was transiently elevated in a longitudinal study of humans. Elevation of G-CSF was found to recapitulate many effects of VSG on bone and the marrow niche. In addition to stimulatory effects of G-CSF on myelopoiesis, endogenous G-CSF suppressed development of marrow adipocytes and hindered accrual of peak cortical and trabecular bone. Effects of VSG on induction of neutrophils and depletion of marrow adiposity were reduced in mice deficient for G-CSF; however, bone mass was not influenced. The sharing economy has fundamentally changed the way many individuals work. In this paper, we study the impact of the entry of a major ridesharing platform into U.S. Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs), on the supply and demand sides of the labor market. Leveraging the difference-in-differences (DID) research design and a data set combining multiple U.S. Census archival sources, we exploit the variation in labor market metrics before and after Uber's entry into the MSAs. Our empirical findings reveal that the introduction of the ridesharing platform has an empowering effect on workers (the supply side of the labor market) and a competition effect on traditional jobs (the demand side of the labor market). Specifically, Uber's entry into the MSAs increases labor force participation, decreases the unemployment rate of residents living below the poverty level, and improves the employment and financial status of low-income workers. In addition, Uber's entry reduces the employment number and increases wages of conventional low-skill and/or low-wage jobs. This paper provides empirical evidence of the impact of a digital sharing economy platform on the labor market and suggests that policymakers and platform operators should account for this broader impact when they devise policies and make strategic decisions.
