Abstract

This paper is mainly concerned with the well-posedness and exponential decay of solution for a integrable three-component Novikov system, which admits bi-Hamiltonian structure and infinitely many conserved quantities. The local well-posedness of this system in critical Besov space is established. The exponential decay of the solutions at infinity is also proved.

Abstract

As an important part of die steels, hot-work die steels are mainly used to manufacture molds made of solid metal or high-temperature liquid metal from heating to recrystallization temperature. In view of the requirements for mechanical properties and service life for hot-work die steel, it is conducive to improve the thermal fatigue resistance, wear resistance, and oxidation resistance of hot work die steel. In this review, the main failure modes of hot-work die steel were analyzed. Four traditional methods of strengthening and toughening die steel were summarized, including optimizing alloying elements, electroslag remelting, increasing the forging ratio, and heat treatment process enhancement. A new nano-strengthening method was introduced that aimed to refine the microstructure of hot-work abrasive steel and improve its service performance by adding nanoparticles into molten steel to achieve uniform dispersion. 45. Programming Piezoelectric Phase of Poly(Vinylidene Fluoride) via Hybrid Metal Halide Perovskite for Enhanced Electromechanical Performance.

Abstract

Fluoropolymers and metal halide perovskites (MHPs), as two classes of important piezoelectric materials, suffer from active phases through a facile process and brittleness led poor manufacturability, respectively. Here, TMCM‐CdCl3/PVDF nanocomposites (TMCM = trimethylchloromethyl ammonium, PVDF = polyvinylidene fluoride) are synthesized to overcome the above shortcomings. The abundant hydrogen (H) and chlorine (Cl) sites in TMCM‐CdCl3 can interlock with H and fluorine (F) atoms within PVDF via C─H···Cl and C─H···F interactions. This programming effect augments the dipole alignment and consequently promotes the formation of polar phases within PVDF. The devices made by these nanocomposites exhibit high energy harvesting properties surpassing established MHP/PVDF analogues, and prominent performance in sensing delicate human motions. Moreover, the devices show exceptional capabilities for detecting underwater ultrasound waves. The signal intensity is ≈4 times that of commercial PVDF film devices, and the frequency distortion is only a quarter of that observed in commercial ceramic transducers. Abstract

Pressure‐induced emission enhancement (PIEE) is a novel phenomenon in contrast to conventional pressure‐induced emission quenching, and has attracted considerable attention owing to the potential application of materials with this effect as optical pressure‐sensing devices. The urgent need and significant significance lie in the design and exploration of systems that possess high‐efficiency PIEE. Here, a large PIEE in a novel zero‐dimensional (0D) hybrid manganese bromide is realized, (BPPH)2MnBr4·1.5CH3CN [BPPH+ = bis(triphenylphosphine)iminium]. The experimental and theoretical results demonstrate that such emission enhancement is primarily attributed to the pressure‐induced reconfiguration of electronic band alignment and resultant redistribution of band‐edge excitons. Under compression, the electronic bandgap of (MnBr4)2− experiences a more rapid reduction compared to that of the organic cations. Consequently, this leads to the gradual closure of the charge transfer pathway from (MnBr4)2− to BPPH+. This progression results in a higher retention of excitons on (MnBr4)2−, amplifying the efficiency of Mn2+d–d transitions, and leading to a substantial enhancement in emission. This study not only offers fresh insights into the behavior of carrier dynamics induced by pressure in hybrid manganese halides but also presents a promising avenue for the advancement of PIEE systems.
