One of the challenging tasks is to use computer technology to automatically design a virtual indoor scene that both satisfies realness and matches the target emotion. The subjective nature of emotions brings uncertainty of results. At present, there is a lack of approach to identify and evaluate emotion of indoor scenes. In addition, under the premise of fully considering emotional appeals, the authenticity of scene is also one of important factors in indoor scene design. Aiming at above problems, a novel optimization algorithm combining Chinese elements for indoor scenes rendering is proposed. Firstly, an emotion classifier is trained to identify and evaluate the emotion with the features extracted via deep learning from a indoor scene dataset containing 25000 images. Secondly, in order to ensure the authenticity of rendering results, an algorithm is proposed to evaluate how realistic the colors of the objects’ textures. Next, an algorithm is designed to render indoor scene automatically according to the target emotion. Then, a style transfer algorithm integrating with Chinese elements is used to carry out fine-grained refinement processing on the furnishings in an indoor scene, improve the spatial connotation, cultural connotation and emotional expression of rendering results, and enhance the visual appeal. Finally, the approach is tested in four indoor scenes, and the correctness and effectiveness of the approach are verified through statistical analysis of results and user survey data.

There are a large number of Chinese Kung Fu enthusiasts worldwide. Offline learning has been the primary method for teaching and learning Chinese Kung Fu due to the inability of online 2-D videos to convey spatial information and provide feedback. To address the issues of the high cost of offline teaching, fixed perspectives in 2-D videos, lack of spatial path feedback, and the absence of practical Kung Fu teaching systems, this article proposes Kung Fu Metaverse: A new movement guidance training system. A digital character in the system is given nearly a hundred kinds of Chinese Kung Fu. Learners can observe the static postures and dynamic transitions of martial arts from various angles. Composite navigation module of our system provides learners with a feedback of spatial path teaching method so that they can receive real-time feedback when training. We recruited volunteers and conducted two experiments. The first compared the cognitive experience of volunteers in three different modes, while the second investigated the impact of voice prompts, trajectory settings, arrow indicators, and free gestures on learning outcomes. The results indicate that volunteers demonstrated significantly higher levels of satisfaction, comfort, and interactivity in the mixed reality (MR) mode. Compared to virtual reality, MR allows free movement and significantly reduces adverse effects such as sickness and dizziness. The addition of the composite navigation module improves the movement precision during practice. This work is a pioneering system that integrates nearly a hundred sets of traditional Chinese Kung Fu routines with a low-cost device.

Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1), a widespread contaminant in food and feeds, poses a threat to the health of animals and humans. Consequently, it is significant to develop a rapid, precise and highly sensitive analytical method for the detection of AFB1. Herein, we developed an immunochromatographic strip (ICS) based on a tetrahedral DNA (TDN) immunoprobe for AFB1 determination in rice bran oil. Three sizes of TDN immunoprobes (AuNP-TDN13bp-mAb, AuNP-TDN17bp-mAb, AuNP-TDN26bp-mAb) were constructed, and the performance of these three immunoprobes, including the effective antibody labeling density and immunoaffinity, was measured and compared with that of the immunoprobe (AuNP-mAb) developed using the physical adsorption method. Subsequently, the optimal TDN immunoprobe, namely AuNP-TDN13bp-mAb, was selected to prepare the immunochromatographic strip (ICS) for the qualitative and quantitative detection of AFB1 in rice bran oil. The visual limits of detection (vLODs) of the ICS based on AuNP-TDN13bp-mAb and AuNP-mAb were 0.2 ng/mL and 2 ng/mL, with scanning quantitative limits (sLOQs) of 0.13 ng/mL and 1.4 ng/mL, respectively. The ICS demonstrated a wide linear range from 0.02 ng/mL to 0.5 ng/mL, with good specificity, accuracy, precision, repeatability, and stability. Moreover, a high consistency was observed between the constructed ICS and ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) in the quantification of AFB1. The results indicated that the introduction of TDN was beneficial for promoting efficient antibody labeling, protecting the bioactivity of immunoprobes, and increasing the sensitivity of detection, which would provide new perspectives for the achievement of the highly sensitive detection of mycotoxins. Deoxynivalenol (DON), 3-acetyldeoxynivalenol (3-ADON) and 15-acetyldeoxynivalenol (15-ADON) belong to type B trichothecenes that are widely detected in agricultural products as one of the most common classes of mycotoxins. In the present study, we aimed to characterize the alteration of lipid metabolism in normal human hepatocytes by poisoning with DON and its acetylated derivatives. After verifying the hepatotoxicity of the three toxins, DON, 15-ADON, and 3-ADON, the mRNA expression was determined by transcriptomics, and the results showed that DON and 15-ADON had a significant regulatory effect on the transcriptome, in which glycerophospholipid metabolism pathway and phospholipase D signaling pathways have not been reported in studies of DON and its acetylated derivatives. For further validation, we explored lipid metabolism in depth and found that PC (15:0/16:0), PC (16:1/18:3), PC (18:1/22:6), PC (16:0/16:0), PC (16:0/16:1), PC (16:1/18:1), PC (14:0/18:2), PE (14:0/16:0) and PE (18:1/18:3) were downregulated for all nine lipids. Combined with the transcriptome results, we found that hepatic steatosis induced by the three toxins, DON, 15-ADON and 3-ADON, was associated with altered expression of genes related to lipid oxidation, lipogenesis and lipolysis, and their effects on lipid metabolism in L-02 cells were mainly realized through the PC-PE cycle. Intangible cultural heritage is a people-centered living cultural heritage. Preservation, promotion, and talent cultivation are important aspects of intangible cultural heritage protection and also crucial guarantees for sustainable development. However, traditional video recordings lack three-dimensional spatial information, and the high cost of digital scanning and reconstruction still leaves no convenient, efficient, accurate, realistic, and low-cost solution for the preservation and dissemination of intangible cultural heritage projects. Here we introduce the binocular 180-degree panoramic display method, through which a platform for recording, showcasing, disseminating, and teaching intangible cultural heritage projects in the Sanlin Old Street of Shanghai was implemented. The platform requires only VR filming without the need for 3D modeling technology. The participants can freely select intangible cultural heritage projects on the map and immerse themselves in watching the Sanlin "Three Excellence" porcelain carving, local cuisine, and embroidery. They can also enjoy the dragon dance, experience the textile craftsmanship of Sanlin's "Three Specialties", and even observe the production process and details of the works from the perspective of the inheritor in the first person. The results show that compared to traditional video recordings and digital scanning reconstruction, the binocular 180-degree panoramic display provides a one-to-one, face-to-face, and low-cost solution for the preservation and dissemination of projects.
