In order to investigate the effect of microalloying element composite adjustment on the corrosion resistance of Q345qE bridge steel, the influences of alloy element Cr, Ni, and Cu composite adjustment on the corrosion resistance of Q345qE bridge steel were studied by confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM), electrochemical workstation, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Results showed that the compactness and protectiveness of the rust layer were improved after the composite adjustment of Cr, Ni and Cu microalloying elements. The Cr element in the rust layer on the Q345qE bridge steel surface could be enriched in the inner rust layer, which effectively blocked the penetration and transmission of corrosive ions such as Cl- and enhanced the protective ability of the rust layer on the substrate. After alloying element adjustment, the proportion of α-FeOOH that was more stable than γ-FeOOH in the rust layer of Q345qENH steel increased. Generally, Q345qE bridge steel with composite adjustment by microalloying elements possessed better corrosion resistance compared to ordinary Q345qE in 3.5% NaCl solution.

Ammonia is a key risk factor in intensive aquaculture systems. This experiment is aimed at investigating the influence of dietary protein levels on genetically improved farmed tilapia (GIFT, Oreochromis niloticus) under chronic ammonia stress. GIFT juveniles of 4.00±0.55 g were exposed to high ammonia level at 0.88 mg/L and fed with six diets comprising graded protein levels at 22.64%, 27.26%, 31.04%, 35.63%, 38.47%, and 42.66% for 8 weeks. The fish in negative control was fed the diet with 31.04% protein in normal water (0.02 mg ammonia/L water). Our results showed that high ammonia exposure (0.88 mg/L) caused significant decrease in fish growth performance, hematological parameters, liver antioxidant enzymes (catalase and glutathione peroxidase), and gill Na+- and K+-dependent adenosine triphosphatase (Na+/K+-ATP) activity. When fish were under high ammonia exposure, the weight gain rate, special growth rate, feed efficiency, and survival rate elevated significantly with dietary protein supplementation increase to 35.63%, whereas protein efficiency ratio, hepatosomatic index, and viscerosomatic index showed a decreased tendency. Dietary protein administration significantly enhanced crude protein but reduced crude lipid contents in the whole fish. Fish fed diets with 35.63%-42.66% protein had higher red blood cell counts and hematocrit percentage than fish fed 22.64% protein diet. The values of serum biochemical indices (lactate dehydrogenase, aspartate aminotransferase, and alanine aminotransferase), hepatic antioxidant enzymes (superoxide dismutase, catalase, and glutathione peroxidase), and gill Na+/K+-ATP activity were all elevated with the increment of dietary protein. Moreover, histological analysis indicated that dietary protein administration could prevent the ammonia-induced damages in fish gill, kidney, and liver tissues. Based on weight gain rate as a response criterion, the optimal dietary protein requirement for GIFT juveniles under chronic ammonia stress was 37.9%.

Aiming at solving the problem of auxiliary disease diagnosis for electronic medical record,the word vector and text discrimination method are applied to the semantic text analysis task.Concretely,the pre-training language model is used as the semantic representation of characters,so as to accurately express the text features.After extracting N-ary features from convolutional neural network,the capsule unit is used to cluster the features,so as to better capture the high-level semantic text features and reduce the demand for data.It is found that the combination model based on ERNIE+CNN+Capsule achieves high accuracy on the real EMR.In addition,inspired by the image style transfer,a style conversion model from EMR text to disease self-report text is trained.Based on the style conversion model,non-parallel data are used to add confrontation ideas and confusion evaluation indexes,which can effectively alleviate the problem of inconsistent distribution of training data and test data.Finally,compared with ALBERTtiny,BERT and other models,the proposed model gets 86.89% F1 value in the EMR,which is improved by1.36%~3.68%,and 94.95% F1 value in the generalization.Experiments show that the proposed model can effectively adapt to the auxiliary disease diagnosis on the premise of ensuring high accuracy.

Owing to a combination of reportedly unique morphological characters and an unlocatable type specimen, Marchantiopsis stoloniscyphula has been regarded as an enigmatic species in Marchantiaceae since its description, and all subsequent taxonomic treatments of this species were made without examination of the type. We located the original material of M. stoloniscyphula which was included as an admixture within the holotype of Wiesnerella fasciaria deposited in IFP. Our morphological examination found that M. stoloniscyphula and W. fasciaria are conspecific with Marchantia papillata subsp. grossibarba and Sandea japonica, respectively. The nomenclature of Marchantiopsis and M. stoloniscyphula are discussed. Lectotypes for M. stoloniscyphula and W. fasciaria are also designated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This experiment aimed to assess the impact of different dietary curcumin (CM) levels on growth, muscle quality, serum-biochemical parameters, antioxidant-enzyme activities, gut microbiome, and liver transcriptome in Chinese soft-shelled turtles (Pelodiscus sinensis). Five experimental diets were formulated to include graded levels of curcumin at 0 (control, CM0), 0.5 (CM0.5), 1 (CM1), 2 (CM2) and 4 g/kg (CM4). Each diet was randomly distributed to quadruplicate groups of turtles (164.33 ± 5.5 g) for 6 weeks. Our findings indicated that dietary curcumin supplementation did not have a significant influence on growth performance (p > 0.05); however, it significantly improved the muscular texture profiles (p < 0.05). Serum total superoxide dismutase (SOD), liver catalase (CAT), and total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC) activities increased significantly as dietary curcumin levels rose from 0.5 to 4 g/kg (p < 0.05). Dietary curcumin supplementation improved gut microbiota composition, as evidenced by an increase in the proportion of dominant bacteria such as Lactobacillus and Flavobacterium. Liver transcriptome analysis revealed that curcumin altered metabolic pathways in the liver. In conclusion, based on the evaluation of the activities of SOD in serum and CAT in liver under current experimental design, it was determined that the appropriate dietary curcumin supplementation for Chinese soft-shelled turtles is approximately 3.9 g/kg.

Osteosarcoma is the most common primary malignant bone tumor in children and adolescents. Many patients with osteosarcoma readily develop resistance to chemotherapy and have an extremely dismal prognosis. Dioscin, a saponin, is known to exhibit potent anticancer activities and induce cellular death of a variety of cancer types. However, the inhibitory effect of dioscin on osteosarcoma cells and its underlying mechanisms have not been fully elucidated. We investigated the responses of human U2‐OS and MG63 osteosarcoma cells to dioscin with regard to proliferation, apoptosis, migration, and invasion, and studied the effect of dioscin on MAPK‐related proteins by western blot analysis assays. Dioscin inhibited osteosarcoma cell proliferation, migration, and invasion. Moreover, it induced osteosarcoma cell apoptosis via reactive oxygen species (ROS)‐dependent apoptotic signaling. N‐acetylcysteine, a reactive oxygen species inhibitor, suppressed dioscin‐induced apoptosis, indicating that ROS play an essential role in dioscin‐induced apoptosis. Western blot analysis assays showed that p38 MAPK was upregulated after dioscin treatment, and that dioscin induced apoptosis by upregulating ROS‐mediated p38 MAPK signaling. Our study suggests that dioscin possesses antitumor activities against human osteosarcoma cells, inhibits osteosarcoma cell proliferation, migration and invasion, and induces osteosarcoma cell apoptosis through upregulating ROS‐mediated p38 MAPK signaling.
