Single‐atom nanozymes (SAzymes) have made significant strides in antibacterial treatment but fall short as natural enzyme and drug replacements due to limited catalytic performance. Here, a rational strategy is presented for incorporating spatially axial boron (B) ligands to effectively modulate the local coordination environment of planar Fe─N4 motifs (Fe─B/N─C SAzymes). With electronic modulation, the Fe─B/N─C SAzymes exhibit significantly enhanced oxidase‐, peroxidase‐, and catalase‐like activities. Theoretical calculations highlight that the spatially axial B ligands effectively adjust the charge distribution around the planar Fe─N4 active center, which facilitates the heterolysis of H2O2 and the desorption of O2, resulting in accelerated H2O2 decomposition. Furthermore, the intrinsic photothermal effect of Fe─B/N─C SAzymes enhances multienzyme‐like activities, rapidly generating abundant reactive oxygen species (ROS), and achieving chemodynamic/photothermal synergistic therapy for impressive disinfection against periodontal‐related pathogenic bacteria. These findings offer a distinctive viewpoint for optimizing the local coordination environment of SAzymes with axial ligand to enhance their catalytic performance and effectiveness in periodontitis therapy. Lead‐free perovskites exhibit unique crystal structures and optical properties due to their low‐dimensional structure. However, the 0D structure of Cs2InCl5·H2O usually demonstrates poor optical properties at room temperature due to their extremely strong electron–phonon coupling interaction. In this study, a doping strategy is employed by introducing Pb2+ into Cs2InCl5·H2O, resulting in the achievement of an efficient broadband blue emission, with a photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) of 58%. The temperature‐dependent PL spectra reveal that the efficient emission is attributed to the weakening of the electron–phonon coupling strength in the lattice and the inhibition of the phonon‐assisted non‐radiative recombination process through Pb2+ doping. The validity of this deduction is further corroborated by the results of the Raman spectra. The results of the first‐principle calculation demonstrate that the broadband emission originates from multiple emission paths in In3+ and Pb2+ polyhedrons. In addition, Pb2+‐doped Cs2InCl5·H2O can realize the transformation from sky‐blue emission to deep‐blue emission by absorbing water in the air. Remarkably, this change is reversible during the heating–cooling cycles, demonstrating excellent optical stability with repeatable recyclability. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Using mixed-halide perovskite quantum dots (QDs), with facile spectrum adjustment and extremely high color purity, is one of the most promising ways to achieve blue emission. Nevertheless, the substantial trap states and halide migration-induced phase separation enhance the instability of QDs, which seriously restricts their practical application. To overcome these issues, we creatively develop a strategy for in situ passivation based on a small organic molecule, diphenylphosphorylhydroxylamine (DPH). The strong coordination and hydrogen bonds work in concert to regulate the crystallization process of QDs and saturate vacancy defects to form a ligand-rich surface, thereby achieving more efficient exciton recombination. The resulting QDs are resistant to stronger external stimulation. Thanks to the effective passivation of DPH, the obtained blue PeLEDs with 478 nm emission exhibit extremely high color purity (full width at half maximum of 18 nm) and a maximum external quantum efficiency (EQE) of up to 4.88%. In parallel, the spectrum remains unchanged at an operating voltage of 8 V. This work provides a feasible method for realizing efficient and spectrally stable blue PeLEDs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The rapid and efficient identification and quantification of neurotoxic organophosphorus pesticides (OPs) are crucial for ensuring environmental safety and human health. However, the current acetylcholinesterase OP sensors are largely limited by the stability and cost of bio-enzymes, as well as the occurrence of false negatives in "signal-off" strategies. In this study, we present a pioneering approach that utilizes high-performance electrochemiluminescence (ECL) of tungsten disulfide quantum dots (WS2 QDs) to develop an alternative sustainable non-enzymatic ECL sensor for "signal-on" OP detection. The presence of phosphate esters in OPs efficiently mediates ECL enhancement of WS2 QDs using K2S2O8 as a coreactant. With this new strategy, we achieved highly sensitive and selective detection of common OPs, including methyl parathion, naled, dimethoate, and malathion, with detection limits of 1.48 pg mL−1, 4.30 pg mL−1, 0.35 pg mL−1, and 5.58 pg mL−1, respectively. When applied to river water and spinach samples, the sensor also demonstrated high reproducibility and good recovery. The electrochemical hydrolysis decomposition of OPs during the detection process in this study provides a "two birds with one stone" strategy, serving the dual objective of identifying and degrading OPs. This work paves a new avenue for direct ECL sensing in environmental and food screening, eliminating the reliance on common indirect biological identification elements. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
