The theory of menstrual axis can be traced back to Neijing and matured in modern times. Predecessors， such as professor Luo Yuankai and professor Yang Jialin systematically proposed that “kidney-Tiangui-Chongren-uterus” is the main axis of menstruation， which has been fully recognized by the experts in this field.“Pivot movement” is the core academic thought of Huang Yuanyu， a famous doctor in Qing dynasty， emphasizing the important influence of Qi ascending and descending movement in Zhongtu on human physiology and pathology. Based on the theory of “pivot movement” proposed by Huang Yuanyu and the elaboration of traditional Chinese medicine for menstruation， the authors tentatively proposed that the “spleen-liver-Chongren-uterus menstrual axis” is the key axis of the generation and regulation of menstruation in women of childbearing age. They also shared the experience of treating menstrual diseases based upon the spleen and spleen-liver theories， aiming to provide theorectical basis for the prevention and treatment of menstrual diseases.

Ionogel polymer electrolyte (IPE), incorporating ionic liquid (IL) within a polymer matrix, presents a promising avenue for safe quasi‐solid‐state lithium metal batteries. However, sluggish Li+ kinetics, resulting from the formation of [Li(anion)n]−(n−1) clusters and the occupation of Li+ transport sites by organic cations, limit their practical applications. In this study, we have developed zwitterionic bottlebrush polymers‐based IPE with promoted Li+ conduction by employing poly(sulfobetaine methacrylate)‐grafted poly(vinylidene fluoride‐co‐chlorotrifluoroethylene) (PVC‐g‐PSBMA) bottlebrushes as matrices of IL. The grafted zwitterionic side chains greatly facilitate the dissociation of [Li(anion)n]−(n−1) clusters to produce more movable Li+. Moreover, the positively charged −NR4+ groups in zwitterionic side chains effectively restrain anions migration, while the negatively charged −SO3− groups immobilize IL cations, preventing them from occupying Li+ hopping sites and reducing the energy barrier for Li+ migration. These synergistic effects contribute to a notable ionic conductivity (7.5×10−4 S cm−1) and Li+ transference number (0.62) of PVC‐g‐PSBMA IPE at 25 °C. As a result, PVC‐g‐PSBMA IPE enables ultralong‐term (over 6500 h) reversible and stable Li plating/stripping in Li||Li symmetric cells. Remarkably, the assembled Li||LiFePO4 full batteries demonstrate unprecedented cycling stability of more than 2000 cycles with a superior capacity retention of 93.7 %. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Urban green spaces play an essential role in maintaining the carbon cycle and mitigating climate change in urban ecosystems. In order to gain more carbon sinks from urban green ecosystems, it is essential to determine the carbon sequestration statuses and soil respiration rates of dominant green spaces, especially park green spaces. However, in comparison to natural ecosystems, the dynamic characteristics of soil respiration in artificial park green spaces remain unclear. This study investigated the soil respiration rates for three forest communities (dominated by Prunus serrulata var. lannesiana, Cedrus deodara, Ginkgo biloba, respectively), a shrub community (dominated by Aucuba japonica var. variegata) and a lawn community (dominated by Poa pratensis) in the Qingdao Olympic Sculpture and Culture Park. We used the CRIAS-3 portable photosynthesis system in combination with the SRC-1 soil respiration chamber to measure the soil respiration rate from July 2022 to June 2023 and analyzed the dynamic variations in the soil respiration rate for these specific plant communities. Our results showed that the diurnal variation in soil respiration presented a unimodal curve for the five plant communities, and it peaked at midday or in the early afternoon. They also exhibited a significant seasonal difference in the soil respiration rate, which was characterized by higher rates in summer and lower rates in winter. The lawn community exhibited significantly higher soil respiration rates compared to the woody plant community. The mean annual soil respiration rate (RS) was, respectively, 2.88 ± 0.49 µmol·m−2·s−1, 1.94 ± 0.31 µmol·m−2·s−1, 1.43 ± 0.21 µmol·m−2·s−1, 1.24 ± 0.14 µmol·m−2·s−1 and 1.05 ± 0.11 µmol·m−2·s−1 for the lawn community, Ginkgo biloba community, Prunus serrulata var. lannesiana community, shrub community and Cedrus deodara community. The soil temperature at a 10 cm depth (T10) accounted for 67.39–86.76% of the variation in the soil respiration rate, while the soil volumetric water content at a 5 cm depth (W5) accounted for 9.29–44.01% of the variation for the five plant communities. The explained variance for both T10 and W5 ranged from 67.8% to 87.6% for the five plant communities. The Q10 values for the five different communities ranged from 1.97 to 2.75. Based on these findings, this paper concludes that the factors influencing the soil respiration process in urban green spaces are more complicated in comparison to natural ecosystems, and it is essential to comprehensively analyze these driving factors and key controlling factors of soil respiration across urban green spaces in future studies. Microwave thermal therapy (MWTT) is a novel clinical treatment of tumors via inducing thermal effect and anti‐tumor immune response, exhibiting advantages of deep penetration, minimal invasion, and high heat conversion efficiency. However, effective ablation is difficult to cover the entire tumor area, and heat‐shock protein 90 (HSP90) is often upregulated after ablation to generate heat tolerance of sublethal tumors and weaken the induced antitumor immune effect, resulting in a high rate of tumor recurrence and metastasis. Herein, a multifunctional nanoregulator of metal phenolic network‐coated ZnS (ZnS@Ga‐tannic acid, ZGT) is proposed to release H2S for synergically enhancing MWTT. Under the costimulation of MW radiation and acidic tumor microenvironment, ZGT can improve the MW thermal effects of tumors to promote thermal damage and release H2S to induce tumor apoptosis. The released H2S can also inhibit the production of ATP and then downregulate the expression of HSP90, strengthening the activated systemic antitumor immune response after ablation. This nanoregulator provides a new way for achieving compensation effect for MWTT. The strategy of H2S gas to downregulate HSP90 and positively regulate antitumor immune response introduces a novel direction for reducing the risk of tumor recurrence and metastasis after thermal therapy. Precise individual tree or sample-based inventories derived from 3D point cloud data of mobile laser scanning can improve our comprehensive understanding of the structure, function, resilience, biodiversity, and ecosystem services of urban forests. This study assessed the performance of a handheld laser scanning system (HLS) for the extraction of tree position, diameter at breast height (DBH), and tree height (H) in an urban area. A total of 2083 trees of 13 species from 34 plots were analyzed. The results showed that the registration of tree positions using ground control points (GCPs) demonstrated high accuracy, with errors consistently below 0.4 m, except for a few instances. The extraction accuracy of DBH for all trees and individual species remained consistently high, with a total root mean square error (RMSE) of 2.06 cm (6.89%) and a bias of 0.62 cm (2.07%). Notably, broad-leaved trees outperformed coniferous trees, with RMSE and bias values of 1.86 cm (6%) and 0.76 cm (2.46%), respectively, compared to 2.54 cm (9.46%) and 0.23 cm (0.84%), respectively. The accuracy of H extraction varied significantly among different species, with R2 values ranging from 0.65 to 0.92. Generally, both DBH and H were underestimated compared to ground measurements. Linear mixed-effects models (LMEs) were applied to evaluate factors affecting the performance of HLS with the plot as a random factor. LME analysis revealed that plant type and terrain significantly influenced the accuracy of DBH and H derived from HLS data, while other fixed factors such as plot area, tree density, and trajectory length showed no significance. With a large sample size, we concluded that the HLS demonstrated sufficient accuracy in extracting individual tree parameters in urban forests. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
