Cisco IOS (Internet operating system) is a special operating system of Cisco router.Due to the limitation of hardware conditions, it pays more attention to the performance and ignores the system security in the design, which makes it unable to effectively detect the attack of return address oriented programming (ROP).Aiming at the defects of traditional ROP protection technology in Cisco IOS protection, a method based on return address memory hash verification is proposed, which can effectively detect the ROP attack on Cisco IOS and capture the attack code.By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the existing protection mechanisms against ROP attacks, on the basis of the idea of compact shadow memory protection, the traditional sha-dow memory storage mode is transformed into a hash based memory search mode, and the record of the return address memory pointer is added as the index of hash search, which improves the efficiency of shadow me-mory search and can resist shadow memory tampering caused by memory leakage.Based on the Dynamips virtualization platform, the CROPDS system is designed and implemented, and the method is verified effectively.Compared with the previous methods, it improves the generality and perfor-mance, and can capture the shellcode of attack execution.

The nonunion following a fracture is associated with severe patient morbidity and economic consequences. Currently, accumulating studies are focusing on the importance of macrophages during fracture repair. However, details regarding the process by which macrophages facilitate endochondral ossification (EO) are largely unknown. In this study, we present evidence that apoptotic chondrocytes (ACs) are not inert corpses awaiting removal, but positively modulate the osteoinductive ability of macrophages. In vivo experiments revealed that fatty acid (FA) metabolic processes up-regulated following EO. In vitro studies further uncovered that FAs derived from ACs are taken up by macrophages mainly through macrophage scavenger receptor 1 (MSR1). Then, our functional experiments confirmed that these exogenous FAs subsequently activate peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor α (PPARα), which further facilitates lipid droplets generation and fatty acid oxidation (FAO). Mechanistically, elevated FAO is involved in up-regulating the osteoinductive effect by generating BMP7 and NAD+/SIRT1/EZH2 axis epigenetically controls BMP7 expression in macrophages cultured with ACs culture medium. Our findings advanced the concept that ACs could promote bone regeneration by regulating metabolic and function reprogram in macrophages and identified macrophage MSR1 represents a valuable target for fracture treatments.

Caspofungin is the first echinocandin antifungal agent that licented for pediatric use in invasive candidiasis and aspergillosis. In this study, we evaluated the population pharmacokinetics of caspofungin and investigate appropriate dosing optimization against Candida spp. in children with allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) in order to improve therapeutic efficacy. All participants received a recommended caspofungin 70 mg/m2 loading dose followed by 50 mg/m2 maintenance dose. A one-compartment model with first-order elimination was best fitted the data from 48 pediatric patients. Body surface area and aspartate aminotransferase had significant influence on caspofungin clearance from covariate analysis. Our results reviewed that dose adjustment is not necessary in patients with mild liver dysfunction. Monte Carlo simulations were performed using pharmacokinetic data from our study to evaluate the probability of target attainment (PTA) of caspofungin regimen in terms of AUC24/MIC targets against Candida spp. The results of simulations predicted that a caspofungin 70 mg/m2 at first dose, 50 mg/m2 of daily dose may have a high probability of successful outcome against C. albicans and C. glabrata whilst 60 mg/m2 maintenance dose was required for fungistatic target against C. parapsilosis but may be not sufficient to achieve optimal fungicidal activity. Caspofungin standard regimen had high probability of successful outcome against C. albicans (MIC ⩽ 0.25 mg/L) and C. glabrata (MIC ⩽ 0.5 mg/L) but insufficient for C. parapsilosis with MIC > 0.25 mg/L. That may provide an evidence based support to caspofungin individualized administration and decrease the risk of therapeutic failure in allo-HSCT pediatric patients.

To realize the high value–added utilization of acid-washed iron red, in this paper, acid-washed iron red is used as raw material. Aiming at the problem of low conductivity of iron-based lithium ion batteries (LIBs) LiFePO4/C materials, different metal ions are doped in the iron position, and the microstructure and electrochemical properties of the obtained material are systematically studied. Here, LiFePO4/C is synthesized through simple carbothermal reduction method using acid-washed iron red as the iron source. On this basis, La (1%, 2%, 3%) doping modification is carried out. Then doped modification is performed on this basis, preferably 2% La-doped LiFePO4/C materials. The XRD patterns show that the diffraction peaks of the samples prepared at all doping amounts can be perfectly matched with the standard card (PDF # 40–1499), and there is no impurity peak, all of which are pure phases. According to the refined data, it is clear that minor amount of La has successfully replaced the position of Fe and incorporated into the lattice. Electrochemical tests show that LiFe0.98La0.02PO4/C has the highest charge and discharge capacity of 146.5/138.2 mAh·g−1 in the first cycle at 0.5C, and the reversible specific capacity of 136.5 mAh·g−1 remains after 50 cycles. Furthermore, the first-principles calculations more strongly confirm that La doping can significantly improve the defects of low electronic conductivity of LiFePO4. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Few prior studies have addressed how subnational differences within a country affect a firmʻs decision on location. We propose that two market constraints, product market constraints and factor market constraints reflect subnational differences in emerging markets, such as China. In addition, the effect of the investment experience of business group affiliated firms (BGAFs) has been neglected in prior studies on location. We propose that learning from the investment experience of other BGAFs in a specific subnational location could reduce the negative relationship between decision on a location and the extent to which they invest in it. The corrosion resistance of 316L cladding layers was addressed via the electrochemical test, to illustrate the coupling effect of the disconnected pores and grain morphology on the corrosion tolerance of 316L cladding layers. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and electrochemical testing were employed to characterize the microstructure, elemental distribution, phase composition, and corrosion resistance of the cladding layers. The results indicate that the disconnected porosity in the surface of the cladding layer decreased from 0.79% to 0.48% and the grain morphology underwent a transformation from equiaxed crystals to columnar and lath crystals, with the increasing scanning speed. The primary phase in the cladding layer was γ-Fe. Under the dual effect of a low disconnected porosity and grain morphology, the corrosion potential of the cladding layer became more electropositive from −568 mVSCE to −307 mVSCE, and the corrosion current density reduced from 4.664 μA∙cm−2 to 1.645 μA∙cm−2. The pitting potential improved from 0.005 VSCE to 0.575 VSCE as the scanning speed increased. Thus, the non-connected pores in the 316L cladding layer also affected the corrosion resistance, especially the pitting resistance. In order to better recycle and reuse metal ions in metallurgical industrial waste and reduce the production cost of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). In this paper, carbon-coated LiFePO4/C cathode materials are synthesized through the carbothermal reduction method using acid-washed iron red as raw material. In order to make LiFePO4/C exhibit satisfactory electrical properties, the rare earth element Eu is doped in the Fe position, and the doping amount is optimized. The influence of the double coupling effect of coating and doping on the structure and properties of LiFePO4 cathode materials is systematically discussed. The local XRD results of the doped samples show that the diffraction peaks of the doped samples move to the small angle grain boundaries, and the lattice spacing of the materials increases, which is due to the large radius of Eu ions. The experimental results show that the dual coupling of carbon coating and ion doping can improve the conductivity of LiFePO4 cathode materials and improve its electrochemical performance. When the doping amount of Eu is 2%, the electrochemical performance of LiFe0.98Eu0.02PO4/C cathode material is the best. The initial charge–discharge capacity of 153/144.4 mAh·g−1 can be obtained at 0.5C, and a discharge capacity of 143.2 mAh·g−1 remains after 50 cycles. The exploration of this experiment provides a reasonable solution for slowing down the pollution of metallurgical waste to the environment and reducing the production cost of LIBs. For emerging market multinational enterprises (EMNEs), corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a foreign business practice. Because EMNEs are late movers in the international market, their attempts to engage in sustainable development and to improve CSR performance (CSP) are hindered by their limited relevant knowledge and resources. Few studies have investigated how EMNEs achieve high CSP. In this study, a sample of 177 Taiwanese companies in Taiwan listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2015 was examined. Data were collected from the Taiwan Economic Journal database. The effects of international orientation on the level of internationalization, market entry in advanced economies, and adherence to international CSR principles on the CSP of these EMNEs were investigated. The results revealed that higher levels of internationalization, greater market entry in advanced economies, and adherence to international CSR principles are positively related to CSP. Objective: A chiral resolution method for enantiomers of two chiral nitrogen-containing metabolites R-gentiandiol and S-gentiandiol of swertiamarin in plasma was developed, and the pharmacokinetics of the metabolites were studied. Methods: The metabolites of swertiamarin in vivo were detected by LC-MS/MS using Astec Cyclobond Ⅱ Cyclodextrin column (4.6 mm×100 mm, 5 μm), gradient elution with acetonitrile-water as mobile phase, and monitored by multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) method in positive mode. The ion pairs for quantitative analysis are R-gentiandiol (m/z 210.04→192.06), S-gentiandiol (m/z 210.04→192.06) and gentianone (m/z 192.02→162.08). Results: The linear correlation coefficients of the method developed were greater than 0.999, the precision was less than 7.00%, the recovery was 99.57%-102.65 %, and the matrix effect was 90.94%-91.34%. The peak tmax of R-gentiandiol and S-gentiandiol in rat plasma after oral administration of swertiamarin were (1.63±0.23) h and (1.58±0.21) h, t1/2 was (6.23±0.52) h and (5.46±0.38) h, Cmax was (86.79±20.81) ng/ mL and (60.72±18.95) ng/mL, and the AUC0-24 were (1 094.58±86.37)) (ng·h)/mL and (724.67±58.38) (ng·h)/mL, respectively. Conclusion: The method was highly sensitive with good accuracy and precision, and it was successfully applied for chiral resolution and pharmacokinetics study of R-gentiandiol and S-gentiandiol in plasma. The method developed and experimental results will provide scientific basis for the study of pharmacodynamics and pharmacodynamic material basis of swertiamarin, and lay a foundation for clinical application and resource development of TCM monomer. BackgroundTo evaluate by MRI intervertebral disc degeneration in patients with lumbar degenerative disease using the Pfirrmann grading system and to determine whether Modic changes correlated with the Pfirrmann grades and modified Pfirrmann grades of disc degeneration.MethodsThe clinical data of 108 surgical patients with lumbar degenerative disease were reviewed and their preoperative MR images were analyzed. Disc degeneration was evaluated using the Pfirrmann grading system. Patients were followed up and low back pain was evaluated using the visual analog scale (VAS) and the effect of back pain on the daily quality of life was assessed using Oswestry disability index (ODI).ResultsForty-four cases had normal anatomical appearance (Modic type 0) and their Pfirrmann grades were 3.77±0.480 and their modified Pfirrmann grades were of 5.81±1.006. Twenty-seven cases had Modic type I changes and their Pfirrmann grades were 4.79±0.557 and their modified Pfirrmann grades were 7.00±0.832. Thirty-six cases exhibited Modic type II changes and their Pfirrmann grades and modified Pfirrmann grades were 4.11±0.398 and 6.64±0.867, respectively. One case had Modic type III changes. Kruskal-Wallis test revealed significant difference in modified Pfirrmann grade among Modic type 0, I and II changes (P0.05). Binary regression analysis showed that Modic changes correlated most strongly with disc degeneration. Follow up studies indicated that the VAS and ODI scores were markedly improved postoperatively. However, no difference was noted in VAS and ODI scores among patients with different Modic types.ConclusionModic changes correlate with the Pfirrmann and modified Pfirrmann grades of disc degeneration in lumbar degenerative disease. There is no significant correlation between Modic types and surgical outcomes.
