In order to evaluate the effect of lactic acid (LA)-assisted low-temperature plasma on the preservation of yellow-feathered broiler carcass, single factor experiments and response surface methodology were used to investigate total viable count (TVC), coliform count (CC) and fat oxidation value as a function of three variables, namely LA concentration (V/V), discharge voltage, and discharge time. Microbiological, physicochemical, and quality indicators of chicken were determined during storage after sterilization under optimized conditions. The results showed that the optimal sterilization parameters were LA concentration of 2.0%, discharge voltage of 150 kV, and discharge time of 115 s. Under these conditions, the TVC and CC on the surface of chicken and its fat oxidation value were 3.02, 1.00 (lg(CFU/g)) and 0.58 mg/kg, respectively. On the 7th day of storage, the inhibitory effects of LA-assisted low-temperature plasma on TVC and CC increased by 26.75% and 19.72% compared with those of LA, by 34.51% and 24.87% compared with those of low-temperature plasma, respectively, and the combination decreased the total volatile basic nitrogen (TVB-N) content by 27.35% and 12.25% compared with single treatments with LA and low-temperature plasma, respectively. In addition, the combination treatment delayed the increase in pH of chicken during storage, improved the texture, and significantly slowed down the deterioration of sensory quality (P < 0.05). Low-temperature plasma treatment increased the fat oxidation value at the early stage (from day 1 to 3) of storage, but did not have a significant impact on the sensory evaluation of meat in terms of odor or color. Overall, LA combined with low-temperature plasma was more effective in preserving yellow-feathered broiler carcass than either alone.

In order to explore the influence of thermodynamic theory on the cooling characteristics of vortex tube control used to create artificial environment in mine, based on the first and second laws of thermodynamics are adopted to analyze the thermodynamic characteristics of fluid in vortex tube, the energy separation mechanism are explored, and the refrigeration characteristics are obtained. Using the three-dimensional fluid domain coupling method, the continuous-discontinuous model is established. Through the calculation of different mathematical models and different calculation methods, it is compared with the experimental results of Aljuwayhel. With the difference of refrigeration effect as the judgment index, the separation of pressure and velocity coupling variables is determined using the SIMPLEC algorithm. The anisotropic Reynolds stress RSM turbulence model is the most accurate, and the deviation of refrigeration effect is calculated within 12%. The analysis of the flow field in the vortex tube shows that the distribution of fluid velocity, fluid pressure and temperature flow field in the tube is basically consistent with the theory based on thermodynamic design. The simulation conclusion that the static temperature change caused by fluid temperature separation in the tube is caused by fluid heat and work conversion verifies the energy transfer process in the vortex tube.

Water resources, energy, and food are essential for the development of society, and they are strongly interdependent. The coupling and coordination relationships of the water–energy–food (WEF) system are important for regional resource security and high-quality development. The Yellow River Irrigation Area in Shandong Province, China, is a grain production base and has a substantial impact on national food security. To examine the water, energy, and food subsystem dynamics in this area, an evaluation system for the WEF system was established. A comprehensive weighting method based on game theory was employed to determine index weights. TOPSIS was used to assess the development level of the WEF system. A coupling coordination degree model was used to analyze the evolution of the coupling coordination degree of the WEF system from 2000 to 2020, and a GWR model was constructed to explore the spatial heterogeneity of its driving factors. The findings indicated that the development level of the WEF system in the study area was moderate, with a gradual upward trend. The coupling coordination degree fluctuated between 0.62 and 0.739. The GWR model revealed that temperature had an overall negative effect on the coupling coordination degree, with the greatest impact on the central irrigation area; the slope and NDVI had a negative effect, with increasing intensity from the southwest to the northeast; and rainfall had an overall positive effect, with the greatest impact on the irrigation area near the estuary in the northeast. Overall, the building area ratio had a negative effect on the coupling coordination degree, with exceptions in some areas. These research outcomes provide theoretical support for sustainable agricultural development in the Yellow River irrigation areas of Shandong Province and methodological reference data for studying collaborative resource utilization in irrigation regions. Aiming at the challenge of demand response uncertainty to the safe and economical operation of integrated energy system, a cooperative optimal scheduling model of multi-region integrated energy system considering thermal pipe network transmission and demand response was proposed. Firstly, the energy transmission model of heat network was modeled in fine detail. Secondly, the demand response strategy was adopted for the comprehensive load, and the information gap decision theory was adopted to deal with the output uncertainty of renewable energy. Finally, the day-ahead operation scheduling scheme of the integrated energy system was proposed with the minimum dispatching cost and carbon emission penalty as the optimization objective, and various constraints were considered comprehensively. SAW devices with a multi-layered piezoelectric substrate have excellent performance due to advantages such as a high quality factor, Q, low loss insertion, large bandwidth, etc. Prior to manufacturing, a comprehensive analysis and proper design are essential to evaluating the device's key performance indicators, including the Bode Q value, bandwidth, and transverse mode suppression. This study explored the performance of SAW resonators employing a 42°Y-X LiTaO3 (LT) thin-plate-based multi-layered piezoelectric substrate. The thicknesses for each layer of the 42°Y-X LT/SiO2/poly-Si/Si substrate were optimized according to the index of phase velocity, Bode Q value, and bandwidth. The effect of the device structure parameters on the dispersion curve and slowness curve was studied, and a flat slowness curve was found to be favorable for transverse mode suppression. In addition, the design of the dummy configuration was also optimized for the suppression of spurious waves. Based on the optimized design, a one-port resonator on the 42°Y-X LT/SiO2/poly-Si/Si substrate was fabricated. The simulation results and measurements are presented and compared, which provides guidelines for the design of new types of SAW devices configured with complex structures. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In‐memory computing, particularly neuromorphic computing, has emerged as a promising solution to overcome the energy and time‐consuming challenges associated with the von Neumann architecture. The ferroelectric field‐effect transistor (FeFET) technology, with its fast and energy‐efficient switching and nonvolatile memory, is a potential candidate for enabling both computing and memory within a single transistor. In this study, the capabilities of an integrated ferroelectric HfO2 and 2D MoS2 channel FeFET in achieving high‐performance 4‐bit per cell memory with low variation and power consumption synapses, while retaining the ability to implement diverse learning rules, are demonstrated. Notably, this device accurately recognizes MNIST handwritten digits with over 94% accuracy using online training mode. These results highlight the potential of FeFET‐based in‐memory computing for future neuromorphic computing applications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Desert terminal lakes are important signals to discern ecological degradation crises, particularly in arid areas where an artificial project of ecological water diversion has designated a quota of river water to prevent lake body shrinkage and protect the ecosystem. Knowledge of the minimum ecological water demand (EWD) is thus necessary to ensure the basic health of lake ecosystems. This study analyzed the spatiotemporal evolution of water boundaries using Landsat satellites data via remote sensing technology from 2002 to 2017 in East Juyan Lake, an inland desert terminal lake of the Heihe River in northwest China. The minimum lake water demand was determined using two estimation methods: the lake-evaporation-oriented EWD method and the minimum water level method. In the latter method, both lake topography (using water-level area curves) and biological survival demands (using bighead carps as indicators) were considered to derive the minimum lake EWD. Water diversion to the lake over the past 15 years has increased the lake's area, but there are still marked intra-annual seasonal variations. The annual minimum lake water demand was suggested to be 54 × 106 m3/year by comparing the different methods; however, it was not satisfied, and the lake survival was endangered when the occurrence frequency of the annual runoff in the Zhengyixia hydrological station exceeded 65%.
