BackgroundThe COVID-19 epidemic may elevate mental distress and depressive symptoms in various populations in China. ObjectiveThis study investigates the levels of depression and mental distress due to COVID-19, and the associations between cognitive, behavioral, and psychosocial factors, and depression and mental distress due to COVID-19 among university students in China. MethodsA large-scale online cross-sectional study (16 cities in 13 provinces) was conducted among university students from February 1 to 10, 2020, in China; 23,863 valid questionnaires were returned. The Patient Health Questionnaire-9 was used to assess depression. Structural equation modeling was performed to test mediation and suppression effects. ResultsOf the 23,863 participants, 47.1% (n=11,235) reported high or very high levels of one or more types of mental distress due to COVID-19; 39.1% (n=9326) showed mild to severe depression. Mental distress due to COVID-19 was positively associated with depression. All but one factor (perceived infection risks, perceived chance of controlling the epidemic, staying at home, contacted people from Wuhan, and perceived discrimination) were significantly associated with mental distress due to COVID-19 and depression. Mental distress due to COVID-19 partially mediated and suppressed the associations between some of the studied factors and depression (effect size of 6.0%-79.5%). ConclusionsBoth mental distress due to COVID-19 and depression were prevalent among university students in China; the former may have increased the prevalence of the latter. The studied cognitive, behavioral, and psychosocial factors related to COVID-19 may directly or indirectly (via mental distress due to COVID-19) affect depression. Interventions to modify such factors may reduce mental distress and depressive symptoms during the COVID-19 epidemic.

Abstract The aim of this study was to observe the effects of different conditioning regimens on fine immune indices after microtransplantation (MST) in patients with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). This article discusses the possible immune mechanism of microtransplantation and describes a more optimized conditioning regimen. A total of 55 AML patients who received MST treatment at the Second Hospital of Lanzhou University from August 2015 to October 2023 were included in this study, and 13 AML patients who did not receive MST but directly received the maintenance therapy were included as the control group (C). The MST patients were divided into a conditioning regimen with venetoclax group (A) and a conditioning regimen without venetoclax group (B). The fine immune indices were detected by flow cytometry and cytometric bead array analysis. Changes in the immune indices before and after treatment were observed, and the progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) of patients in the MST group were analysed. Non-intrusive load disaggregation (NILD) can deeply explore the value of customer power consumption data, providing an important reference for decision analysis such as power equipment fault monitoring and demand response. Aimed at the conflict between the training time and the accuracy of non-intrusive load disaggregation, a non-intrusive load disaggregation algorithm using sequence-to-point integrating external attention (EA) mechanism is proposed. First, the original data is pre-processed by data purification, normalization, and some other operations, and the train data is built with a same length window. The equipment feature is extracted through the encoder layer. Then, the feature weights of important parts are enhanced by introducing an external attention mechanism. Finally, the results are yielded through the decoder layer. Simulation calculation of the proposed model and the current mainstream model is performed using the publicly available datasets, REDD and UK-DALE, while the indicators of signal aggregate error, mean absolute error, normalized disaggregation error, model disaggregation curves, feature map, and user energe consumption are compared and analyzed. The proposed model overcomes the shortcomings of attention scattering in the convolutional layer, enhances the ability to extract and utilize effective information, and has a more accurate decomposition accuracy without increasing the training time cost.

The emergence of stealth aircraft poses a challenge to the target detection capabilities of existing radar and infrared guided air-to-air missiles. Compared to the better radar stealth performance of stealth aircrafts, infrared guided air-to-air missiles have the advantage of anti stealth. However, some measures should be taken by the infrared seeker to improve its detection and recognition ability for stealth targets. In this paper, aiming to improve the ability of infrared imaging seeker to detect stealth targets, the infrared radiation characteristics of stealth aircraft are analyzed firstly. Then, based on the factors affecting the detection performance of infrared imaging seekers, various solution are proposed to improve the detection and recognition capabilities of infrared detection system for stealth aircraft, such as using dual color/multi band imaging detection, optimizing the working parameter design of infrared detection system, increasing imaging quality and scene adaptability in different environments, and adopting low signal-to-clutter ratio target detection and interception technology.

Objective To investigate the effect of auricular holographic copper-plate scrapping combined with auricular acupoint pressing therapy in the treatment of nonspecific low back pain of cold-dampness obstruction type. Methods Totally 90 patients with nonspecific low back pain of cold-dampness obstruction type were randomly divided into the control group and observation group, with 45 cases in each group. All patients received routine treatment and nursing, and those in the observation received auricular holographic copper-plate scrapping combined with auricular acupoint pressing therapy for three weeks. The Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) of pain and Tradition Chinese Medicine syndrome score were compared between two groups. Results The total effective rate was 90. 48%(38/42) in the observation group, which was higher than 70. 45%(31/44) in the control group (P＜0. 01). The NRS score and Tradition Chinese Medicine syndrome score were decreased in both two groups after intervention, and NRS score and Tradition Chinese Medicine syndrome score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0. 05). Conclusion The auricular holographic copper-plate scrapping combined with auricular acupoint pressing therapy is effective to relieve the clinical symptoms of nonspecific low back pain of cold-dampness obstruction type (目的 观察耳部全息铜砭刮痧联合耳穴贴压改善寒湿痹阻型非特异性腰痛的临床疗效。方法 选取2022年4月—2023年11月医院外科护理门诊收治的寒湿痹阻型非特异性腰痛患者90例, 按照随机数字表法分为对照组和观察组。对照组给予常规治疗和护理, 观察组在对照组基础上给予耳部全息铜砭刮痧联合耳穴贴压治疗。两组均治疗3周, 治疗结束后评估患者疼痛改善情况, 对比两组患者疼痛程度评分量表(NRS)及中医腰痛症候评分。结果 共脱落4例患者, 最终观察组纳入42例, 对照组纳入44例。观察组总有效率90. 48%(38/42), 高于对照组的70. 45%(31/44), 差异有统计学意义(P＜0. 01)。治疗后两组NRS评分及腰痛中医症候评分相比治疗前降低, 且治疗后观察组NRS评分及腰痛中医证候评分均低于对照组, 差异有统计学意义(P＜0. 05)。结论 耳部全息铜砭刮痧联合耳穴压豆能有效改善寒湿痹阻型非特异性腰痛患者的症状。)

[Objective] The GDP of Shandong Province ranks among the top in China, and the province has an important strategic position in the regional development of China. However, water shortage has been restricting the rapid socioeconomic development in Shandong Province. The research on water resources carrying capacity (WRCC), as an important indicator of rigid constraint of water resources, is crucial for regional sustainable development. [Methods] This study quantitatively evaluated the WRCC of 16 cities in Shandong Province during 2011-2020 and explored its distribution in different hydrological years, using the comprehensive weighting method and TOPSIS model. Then, the obstacle degree model was applied to diagnose the main obstacle factors of WRCC. [Results] This research found that: (1) Water resources carrying capacity was the highest (0.68) for the wet year (2020) but lowest (0.19) for the dry year (2014), which was overall weak (0.39) in Shandong Province. From 2011 to 2020, WRCC decreased first and then increased, which changed with the water resources endowment. (2) Spatially, WRCC showed an obvious regional difference. Annual average WRCC over the whole province was overall low, with the the highest in Jinan City (0.51) and the lowest in Weihai City (0.24). In the wet year, WRCC of most cities were relatively high, but the lowest was found in Yantai City (0.30) and WRCC was also low in northwest Shandong Province. In the normal year, WRCC overall decreased from the southwest to the northeast of the province. In the dry year, WRCC for all cities was low and thus showed insignificant difference. (3) Total amount of water resources, water production modulus, ecological water use ratio, surface water resources proportion, and wastewater discharge were the main obstacle factors of WRCC. Accordingly, water resources and ecological environment were the main obstacles to WRCC improvement. [Conclusion] Due to the water scarcity and low WRCC, at present and in the future, expanding water sources and reducing expenditure as well as improving quality and increasing efficiency will be crucial for the ecological priority protection and high-quality socioeconomic development in Shandong Province.

Polyelectrolyte (PE)-modified synthetic nanopores have gained substantial research attention because molecular modification promotes ion gating and rectification. However, theoretical research on PE-modified nanopores is relatively scarce because it is difficult to establish an elaborate model for PEs, and it accordingly causes a trade-off between the computational resources needed and the accuracy. Therefore, an appropriate simulation method for the PE-modified nanopore is in high demand and still an enormous challenge. Herein, we report the simulation result of ion transport through PE-modified nanopores through a coarse-grained Poisson–Nernst–Planck method. By modeling the stuffed PE molecules as PE particles in a well-established continuum model, adequate computational accuracy can be achieved with acceptable computational cost. Based on this model, we study the ion transport in PE-modified nanofluidic diodes and reveal the PE around ion selectivity, which can explain the previous experimental works. Intriguingly, we found that the ion enrichment state in the nanofluidic diode is sensitive to steric hindrance and charge distribution near the heterojunction region. This property is critical for the ion transport behavior in the PE-modified nanofluidic diodes. Based on this property, we predict a heterogeneous structure that can realize the single molecule response to charged analytes. These findings provide insights for understanding the ion transport in PE-modified nanofluidic systems and bring inspiration to the design and optimization of high-performance chemical sensors.
