Objective To provide a basis for gene therapy of sporadic Parkinson's disease (PD) caused by mitochondrial complex Ⅰ dysfunction, yeast complex Ⅰ (expressed by internal NADH dehydrogenase,NDI1) was tested to replace human complex Ⅰ with functional defects. Methods The recombinant adeno-associated virus (rAAV-NDI1) infected the rotenone-induced differentiated cell model of PD. Three groups (DMSO+vector, rotenone+vector, rotenone+NDI1) were designed. The cytopathology and mitochondrial functions were examined by the methods of Western blot, immunofluorescence staining, measurement of oxygen consumption, ATP content and ROS, etc. Results Compared with rotenone+vector group, the rotenone+NDI1 group showed significantly improved cell morphology, increase in cell survival (P＜0.05), and decrease in level of pS129 α-synuclein and of whole-cell autophagy (P＜0.05, P＜0.001). Compared with rotenone+vector group, the rotenone+NDI1 group also displayed significant increase of complex Ⅰ-dependent oxygen consumption (P＜0.01), significant increase in total cellular ATP synthesis and mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation-coupled ATP synthesis (P＜0.01),significant decrease in the level of mitochondrial ROS and mitochondrial mitophagy(P＜0.01, P＜0.001). Conclusions Yeast NDI1 can replace and compensate complex Ⅰ-related functional defects in rotenone-induced differentiated PD cell model, and can alleviate the damage of cytopathology and mitochondrial functions.

Supercritical CO2 (sCO2) flow instability is an issue that must be considered in the reasonable design of sCO2 boiler. Because it can cause equipment vibration and heat transfer deterioration. In this article, a numerical model for the sCO2 flow instability in the single tube was developed. Different from the traditional model, the effects of metal heat storage and axial heat conduction in the tube wall were considered. The influence of main parameters on trans-pseudo-critical number (NTPC) and oscillation period (t0) was studied, with the tube length (L) from 3 to 11 m and the inner diameter (Din) from 10 to 22 mm. NTPC increases with increasing the inlet pressure (Pin), mass flux (G), inclination angle (α), and the inlet local resistance coefficient (Kin). NTPC decreases with Din and outlet local resistance coefficient (Kout). The effects of the sub-pseudo-critical number (NSUBPC), wall thickness (WT) and L on NTPC are nonlinear. With increasing NSUBPC, WT, L, Din, and Kout, t0 increase. As G, α, and Kin increase, t0 becomes smaller. When NSUBPC is lower than 0.9146, t0 rises with Pin increasing. Printed circuit heat exchangers are getting more and more applications in various energy systems. Detailed data monitoring is essential to understand their operation situations in real time. Nevertheless, the commonly monitored parameters are inadequate to evaluate the local flow and heat transfer characteristics when the fluid undergoes an obvious property variation in the channel. In this work, a measurement system for printed circuit heat exchangers similar to those in industrial applications was set up to study the thermal-hydraulic characteristics of supercritical CO2 with non-linear physical properties. The experimental results show that the heat transfer coefficient can be increased by 82.9–109.6% when the mass flow rate increases from 0.15 to 0.42 kg/s. By comparison, the heat transfer coefficient can be increased by 70.7% when the fluid state approaches the critical point. A novel iterative inversion method was proposed to deduce the coefficients of the heat transfer and friction factor correlations based on the collected fundamental parameters. The deviations of the heat transfer rate and friction coefficient between the measured data and the predicted results by the derived correlations were both within 10%, indicating the feasibility and reliability of the inversion method. This paper intends to systematically review the efficacy and imaging related studies of dialectical behavior therapy （DBT） in the treatment of non-suicidal self-injury （NSSI）， so as to provide references for DBT treatment of NSSI. NSSI has a very high incidence in the population and is a major threat to the physical and mental health of adolescents. DBT shows certain advantages in the treatment of NSSI. Previous studies have preliminarily revealed the neurological effects of DBT treatment on patients， which provides an important objective basis for the efficacy of DBT treatment. In this paper， the efficacy of DBT in the treatment of NSSI and the brain imaging evidence are described and discussed， so as to provide references for the effectiveness of DBT in the treatment of NSSI.

Ferroelectric field effect transistors (Fe-FETs) offer promising candidates for neuromorphic computing. However, it is still challenging to achieve a light-tunable field effect, which limits the function of photo-synapse. In this work, a ferroelectric semiconductor floating-gate transistor (FSF-FET) is proposed based on MoS2/h-BN/α-In2Se3 van der Waals heterojunctions (vdWHs), in which the two-dimensional ferroelectric semiconducting α-In2Se3 and dielectric h-BN serve as the trapped layer of charges and prevent layer, respectively. The excellent memory performances are exhibited, including a high programming/erasing ratio of over 107, a large memory window ratio of 74.69%, and good non-volatility. Moreover, the FSF-FETs also possess the light-tunable synapse behaviors, including the high paired-pulse facilitation of 236% and an obvious transition from short-term plasticity to long-term plasticity. The high recognition rate of 93.9% is achieved with dual-mode modulation of light and electrical pulses. The ferroelectric semiconductor floating-gate design opens up a strategy to realize the light-tunable field effect of Fe-FETs for photo-synapse. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
