Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV), encompassing PRRSV‐1 and PRRSV‐2, significantly impacts the global pig industry by causing reproductive disorders and respiratory difficulties. In this paper, we isolated a novel PRRSV‐1 strain, named SCPJ2023, from weaned piglets in Sichuan. Utilizing primary macrophages, we isolated SCPJ2023 and performed complete genome sequencing through metagenomic analysis. Phylogenetic analysis classified SCPJ2023 as pan‐European subtype 1. SCPJ2023 showed a 95.3% similarity to SC2020‐1. Amino acid analysis identified differences in Nsp2, GP3, and GP4 between SCPJ2023 and other representative strains. In vivo challenge experiments demonstrated that SCPJ2023 induced clinical symptoms in piglets, including coughing, fever, reduced appetite, and depression. Pathological examinations revealed hemorrhage and congestion, increased inflammatory cells, thickening of the alveolar wall, and collapse of the alveolar cavity in SCPJ2023‐infected piglets. Altogether, our study identified a novel pathogenic isolate of PRRSV‐1, expanding the newly named SC2020‐1‐like subgroup by identifying additional strains beyond the initial SC2020‐1 isolate. To construct a diverse anticipatory practice for the future of science parks, this work gives a systematic understanding of the effect of the regional background on the benefit of science parks, and of the synergy of the elements of the innovation system, which contains a space dimension and regional differences, and represents the unique characteristics of the regional environment at various geographic scales. This work examines the function and effect of different geographic scales on the conditions required for the evolution of science parks based on regional innovation systems. The research analyzes the implications of the development of science parks through different spatial scales from the perspective of the regional innovation system. The function of innovation in the Hsinchu and Southern Taiwan Science Parks is examined by comparing the two parks, confirming the effect of different regional backgrounds on the benefit of the science parks. The influence of continental emissions on the origin and formation mechanisms of atmospheric particulate nitrate (ρ‐NO3−) aerosols in the marine boundary layer remains unclear. Here, synchronous observations of nitrogen isotope ratios (δ15N–NO3−) and oxygen isotope anomaly (Δ17O–NO3−) in ρ‐NO3− were conducted across the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea in Eastern China. Nitrate concentrations, δ15N–NO3− and Δ17O–NO3− exhibited a pronounced north‐to‐south latitudinal gradient. Combined with backward air mass trajectory analysis, the high nitrate concentration and isotopic characteristics in the northern sea area were found to be affected by the continental outflow near China while the low values in the southern sea area were more related to the oceanic inflow. Stable isotope analysis in R (SIAR) indicated that near the northern sea area, the nitrate radicals (NO3) reacted with hydrocarbons (HC) or dimethyl sulfides (DMS) pathway (NO3 + HC/DMS) played a leading role in nitrate production, whereas the NO2 + OH pathway dominated near the southern sea area. Nitrate in the northern seas originated mainly from nitrogen oxides (NOx = NO + NO2, the gaseous precursor of nitrate) emitted from continental sources, especially coal combustion and biomass burning. While closer to the southern seas, the proportion of NOx generated in the marine environment (from ship and biogenic emissions) increased. Overall, the differential relative contributions of continental and marine atmospheric chemistry and NOx sources lead to the spatial distribution characteristics of atmospheric nitrate concentrations and isotopic values over the Yellow and Bohai Seas. Plain Language Summary: This study investigated the impact of emissions from land sources on the formation of nitrate particles in the air above the marine boundary layer. The researchers conducted observations of nitrogen and oxygen isotopes in nitrate particles across the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea in Eastern China. They found that nitrate concentrations and isotopic ratios showed a clear gradient from north to south. By analyzing the trajectory of air masses, they determined that high nitrate concentrations in the northern sea area were influenced by emissions from the nearby continent, while lower values in the southern sea area were more related to the ocean. The study further showed that nitrate in the northern seas mainly originated from nitrogen oxides emitted by continental sources such as coal combustion and biomass burning, whereas closer to the southern seas, a larger proportion of nitrogen oxides were generated within the marine environment. Objective To investigate the operative indication and surgical technique of the laparoscopic transcystic common bile duct exploration in secondary common duct lithiasis. Methods Clinical data of 32 cases with secondary common duct lithiasis treated with laparoscopic transcystic common bile duct exploration were analyzed retrospectively, and were compared with the group of common bile duct exploration and T tube drainage in the same period. Results The operation of 32 cases was successful with no complications. Compared with the control group, the hospitalization time and expense after operation have obvious advantages. Conclusion To the suitable patients for laparoscopic transcystic common bile duct exploration, the therapeutic effect was significantly better than that in the routine group. Pre-operative MRCP examination can provide valuable information for surgical indications and surgical planning. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: To investigate the levels of serum soluble CD36 (sCD36) in patients of diabetes mellitus (DM) with chronic kidney disease (CKD),and to analyze its correlation with clinical indicators., Methods: A total of 161 patients with CKD were enrolled in this study. The patients were divided into two groups according to whether they had DM or not: DM+CKD group and non-DM CKD group. The levels of carotid intima-media thickness (IMT) and the combination of atherosclerotic plaques were measured by color Doppler ultrasonography. Serum fasting serum samples were collected and serum sCD36 level was measured by ELISA. the status of serum sCD36 was analyzed with the progress of renal disease,and the correlation of sCD36 level with clinical indicators were analyzed., Results: Among the 161 patients,87 (54%) were DM+CKD and 74 (46%) were non-DM CKD. There was no significant difference in the levels of urea nitrogen (BUN),serum creatinine (sCr),estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR),cystatin C (Cys-C),triglyceride (TG),cholesterol (Chol),low density lipoprotein-chol (LDL-C),urinary albumin/creatinine and IMT in the two groups ( P >0.05). Compared with non-DM CKD group,the serum sCD36 level (U/L) in DM+CKD group was lower (4.58±1.06 vs. 4.97±1.28, P <0.05). In DM+CKD group,serum sCD36 was negatively correlated with BUN,sCr and Cys-C ( r =⁻0.355,⁻0.336,⁻0.323; P <0.01),and positively correlated with eGFR ( r = 0.399; P <0.01),but not with TG,Chol,LDL-C or IMT ( P >0.05). In non-DM CKD group,there was a positive correlation between sCD36 and TG,Chol and LDL-C ( r = 0.251, 0.298, 0.292; P <0.05),and negatively correlated with Cys-C ( r =⁻0.287; P <0.05),but not with eGFR,BUN,sCr or IMT ( P >0.05). Objective: To evaluate the effects of laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) on the patients' visual field., Methods: 92 eyes of 46 patients with mild, moderate, and high degrees of myopia were undergone LASIK. Perimetry was performed before and 1 day, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months after LASIK surgery by Humphrey II-750 visual field analysis. The central 30 - 2 fast threshold program was used to examine the change in central 30 degree. Mean defect (MD) and pattern standard deviation (PSD) were record. All operations were performed by an experienced surgeon. Statistical analyses were performed by SPSS using the randomized complete block design ANOVA (two factors analysis of variance). Differences among variables were evaluated by q-test (Student-Newman-Kueuls method)., Results: 93.5% patients obtained estimated best correct visual acuity or better at six months after LASIK. No complications were found in the subjects. No difference was found in fundus examinations before and after surgery. Intraocular pressure was normal at all preoperative and postoperative examinations. MD was significant differences among preoperative and postoperative values (P < 0.05, for all comparisons) and was correlated with visual acuity post-LASIK significantly (P < 0.05). While PSD did not show significant differences before and after LASIK (P > 0.05) and was not correlated with visual acuity post-LASIK. The indexes of visual field were not correlated with the degree of myopia and the other surgical parameters (P > 0.05)., Conclusion: In current research, no significant visual field change was demonstrated pre-LASIK and post-LASIK after 6 months follow-up. The study suggests that LASIK does not affect the retinal physiological functions.
