Deep learning is widely used in wireless communications but struggles with fixed neural network sizes, which limit their adaptability in environments where the number of users and antennas varies. To overcome this, this paper introduced a generalization strategy for precoding and power allocation in scalable wireless networks. Initially, we employ an innovative approach to abstract the wireless network into a homogeneous graph. This primarily focuses on bypassing the heterogeneous features between transmitter (TX) and user entities to construct a virtual homogeneous graph serving optimization objectives, thereby enabling all nodes in the virtual graph to share the same neural network. This "TX entity" is known as a base station (BS) in cellular networks and an access point (AP) in cell-free networks. Subsequently, we design a universal graph neural network, termed the information carrying graph neural network (ICGNN), to capture and integrate information from this graph, maintaining permutation invariance. Lastly, using ICGNN as the core algorithm, we tailor the neural network's input and output for specific problem requirements and validate its performance in two scenarios: 1) in cellular networks, we develop a matrix-inverse-free multi-user multi-input multi-output (MU-MIMO) precoding scheme using the conjugate gradient (CG) method, adaptable to varying user and antenna numbers; 2) in a cell-free network, facing dynamic variations in the number of users served by APs, the number of APs serving each user, and the number of antennas per AP, we propose a universal power allocation scheme. In this letter, we analyze the performance of mixed coherent and non-coherent transmissions approach, which can improve the performance of cell-free multiple-input multiple-output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (CF mMIMO-OFDM) systems under asynchronous reception. To this end, we first obtain the achievable downlink sum-rate for the mixed coherent and non-coherent transmissions, and then provide a closed-form expression for the case with the maximum ratio precoding. Subsequently, an efficient clustering algorithm is proposed to group access points into different clusters with the same quantized phase shift in each cluster. Deep learning and signal processing are closely correlated in many IoT scenarios such as anomaly detection to empower intelligence of things. Many IoT processors utilize digital signal processors (DSPs) for signal processing and build deep learning frameworks on this basis. While deep learning is usually much more computing-intensive than signal processing, the computing efficiency of deep learning on DSPs is limited due to the lack of native hardware support. In this case, we present a contrary strategy and propose to enable signal processing on top of a classical deep learning accelerator (DLA). With the observation that irregular data patterns such as butterfly operations in FFT are the major barrier that hinders the deployment of signal processing on DLAs, we propose a programmable data shuffling fabric and have it inserted between the input buffer and computing array of DLAs such that the irregular data is reorganized and the processing is converted to be regular. With the online data shuffling, the proposed architecture, SigDLA, can adapt to various signal processing tasks without affecting the deep learning processing. Moreover, we build a reconfigurable computing array to suit the various data width requirements of both signal processing and deep learning. According to our experiments, SigDLA achieves an average performance speedup of 4.4$\times$, 1.4$\times$, and 1.52$\times$, and average energy reduction of 4.82$\times$, 3.27$\times$, and 2.15$\times$ compared to an embedded ARM processor with customized DSP instructions, a DSP processor, and an independent DSP-DLA architecture respectively with 17% more chip area over the original DLAs.

Applying integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) to a cell-free massive multiple-input multiple-output (CF mMIMO) architecture has attracted increasing attention. This approach equips CF mMIMO networks with sensing capabilities and resolves the problem of unreliable service at cell edges in conventional cellular networks. However, existing studies on CF-ISAC systems have focused on the application of traditional integrated signals. To address this limitation, this study explores the employment of the orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) signal as a representative of innovative signals in the CF-ISAC system, and the system's overall performance is optimized and evaluated. A universal downlink spectral efficiency (SE) expression is derived regarding multi-antenna access points (APs) and optional sensing beams. To streamline the analysis and optimization of the CF-ISAC system with the OTFS signal, we introduce a lower bound on the achievable SE that is applicable to OTFS-signal-based systems. Based on this, a power allocation algorithm is proposed to maximize the minimum communication signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) of users while guaranteeing a specified sensing SINR value and meeting the per-AP power constraints. The results demonstrate the tightness of the proposed lower bound and the efficiency of the proposed algorithm. Finally, the superiority of using the OTFS signals is verified by a 13-fold expansion of the SE performance gap over the application of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signals. Mixed-precision neural networks (MPNNs) that enable the use of just enough data width for a deep learning task promise significant advantages of both inference accuracy and computing overhead. FPGAs with fine-grained reconfiguration capability can adapt the processing with distinct data width and models, and hence, can theoretically unleash the potential of MPNNs. Nevertheless, commodity DPUs on FPGAs mostly emphasize generality and have limited support for MPNNs especially the ones with lower data width. In addition, primitive DSPs in FPGAs usually have much larger data width than that is required by MPNNs and haven't been sufficiently co-explored with MPNNs yet. To this end, we propose an open source MPNN accelerator design framework specifically tailored for FPGAs. In this framework, we have a systematic DSP-packing algorithm to pack multiple lower data width MACs in a single primitive DSP and enable efficient implementation of MPNNs. Meanwhile, we take DSP packing efficiency into consideration with MPNN quantization within a unified neural network architecture search (NAS) framework such that it can be aware of the DSP overhead during quantization and optimize the MPNN performance and accuracy concurrently. Finally, we have the optimized MPNN fine-tuned to a fully pipelined neural network accelerator template based on HLS and make best use of available resources for higher performance. Our experiments reveal the resulting accelerators produced by the proposed framework can achieve overwhelming advantages in terms of performance, resource utilization, and inference accuracy for MPNNs when compared with both handcrafted counterparts and prior hardware-aware neural network accelerators on FPGAs., Comment: Accepted by 2023 IEEE/ACM International Conference on Computer-Aided Design (ICCAD)

The Internet of Things (IOT) sensor network is an effective solution for monitoring environment condition. IOT sensor network generates massive data, and the abilities of massive data storage, processing and query become technical challenges. To solve the problem, a Hadoop cloud platform is proposed. With the help of time and workload genetic algorithm (TWLGA), the data processing platform provides the work of one node to share with others, which not only raises efficiency of one single node, but also provides the compatibility support to reduce the possible risk of software and hardware. In the experiment, a Hadoop cluster platform with TWLGA scheduling algorithm is built, and the performance of the platform is tested.
