With accelerated urbanization and climate change, urban flooding is becoming more and more serious. Flood risk assessment is an important task for flood management, so it is crucial to map the spatial and temporal distribution of flood risk. This paper proposed an urban flood risk assessment method that takes into account the influences of hazard, vulnerability, and exposure, by constructing a multi-index urban flood risk assessment framework based on Geographic Information System (GIS). To determine the weight values of urban flood risk index factors, we used the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Also, we plotted the temporal and spatial distribution maps of flood risk in Zhengzhou City in 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020. The analysis results showed that, the proportion of very high and high flood risk zone in Zhengzhou City was 1.362%, 5.270%, 4.936%, 12.151%, and 24.236% in 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020, respectively. It is observed that the area of high flood risk zones in Zhengzhou City showed a trend of increasing and expanding, of which Dengfeng City, Xinzheng City, Xinmi City, and Zhongmu County had the fastest growth rate and the most obvious increase. The flood risk of Zhengzhou City has been expanding with the development of urbanization. The method is adapted to Zhengzhou City and will have good adaptability in other research areas, and its risk assessment results can provide a scientific reference for urban flood management personnel. In the future, the accuracy of flood risk assessment can be further improved by promoting the accuracy of basic data and reasonably determining the weight values of index factors. The risk zoning map can better reflect the risk distribution and provide a scientific basis for early warning of flood prevention and drainage.

Polarization detection plays an essential role in a wide range of fields, including target identification, 3D reconstruction, and robotic vision. Self‐driven on‐chip full‐Stokes photodetectors are urgently required to meet the trend of miniaturization and integration. Nevertheless, how to fulfill efficient circular and linear polarimetry simultaneously with sufficient recognition effectiveness in a compact device is a great challenge. Herein, a patterned chiral perovskite film is fabricated by imprinting strategy, and vertically‐structured self‐driven Stokes photodetector is demonstrated, which can recognize various polarization states at 0 V. Through patterned design of the chiral perovskite film by integrating circle and nanowire structure, flexible tuning of circular and linear polarization components within the detector is achieved, enabling the detector to strike a balance between circular and linear polarization detection ability when recognizing arbitrary polarization light. The maximum circular polarization sensitivity factor and linear polarization ratio can reach 0.125 and 1.5, respectively. By optimizing well‐defined patterned shape, the resultant detector can recognize polarized light with an average recognition error <7%. This work opens an avenue toward the fabrication of self‐driven filterless Stokes detectors based on patterned chiral perovskite film for accurate detection of arbitrary polarization states. AbstractThis retrospective study analyzed the efficacy of combined antiplatelet therapy with Argatroban in treating acute ischemic stroke (AIS) and its impact on patients’ coagulation and neurological functions. Clinical data of 113 AIS patients admitted between January 2021 and January 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. Patients were divided into control (n = 56) and observation (n = 57) groups based on treatment interventions. The control group patients were treated with antiplatelet drugs, while the observation group patients received combination therapy with apatinib on the basis of the control group treatment. Compared to the control group, the observation group demonstrated higher clinical efficacy, improved coagulation parameters, reduced stroke severity (measured by NIHSS), enhanced daily living abilities (BI scores), and lowered inflammatory and neural injury markers post-treatment. Adverse reaction incidence was similar between groups. Combining Argatroban with antiplatelet drugs in AIS management showed superior efficacy without increasing adverse effects, suggesting its potential for clinical application. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Epilepsy is the results from the imbalance between inhibition and excitation in neural circuits, which is mainly treated by some chemical drugs with side effects. Gain‐of‐function of BK channels or knockout of its β4 subunit associates with spontaneous epilepsy. Currently, few reports were published about the efficacy of BK(α + β4) channel modulators in epilepsy prevention. Charybdotoxin is a non‐specific inhibitor of BK and other K+ channels. Here, by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and other biochemical techniques, we found that charybdotoxin might interact with the extracellular loop of human β4 subunit (i.e., hβ4‐loop) of BK(α + β4) channel at a molar ratio 4:1 (hβ4‐loop vs. charybdotoxin). Charybdotoxin enhanced its ability to prevent K+ current of BK(α + β4 H101Y) channel. The charybdotoxin Q18F variant selectively reduced the neuronal spiking frequency and increased interspike intervals of BK(α + β4) channel by π–π stacking interactions between its residue Phe18 and residue His101 of hβ4‐loop. Moreover, intrahippocampal infusion of charybdotoxin Q18F variant significantly increased latency time of seizure, reduced seizure duration and seizure numbers on pentylenetetrazole‐induced pre‐sensitized rats, inhibited hippocampal hyperexcitability and c‐Fos expression, and displayed neuroprotective effects on hippocampal neurons. These results implied that charybdotoxin Q18F variant could be potentially used for intractable epilepsy treatment by therapeutically targeting BK(α + β4) channel. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
