A wireless monitoring system was designed for long-term structural health monitoring (SHM) in civil engineering in this paper. In this monitoring system, one microprocessor with low power dissipation is used to process data received from the 12 -bit analog-to-digital converter. The system supports two different kinds of wireless communication modules. And the wireless transmitter and receiver of the system can receive and dispose many intelligent commands. Then all the receiving data can be processed at the same time by the center computer. And the program has a view interface to display all results and messages. So this system can be used to complete the health monitoring of structures with different sizes in civil engineering. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: The occurrence of postoperative depression and anxiety in patients with endometriosis (EMS) not only causes psychological distress, but may also harm their physical health., Aim: To explore the postoperative depression status, and its influencing factors, of EMS patients with reproductive intention., Methods: A total of 321 EMS patients with reproductive intent were included. Using the self-rating anxiety scale and self-rating depression scale, EMS patients with anxiety or depression were distinguished. A clinical model for predicting anxiety or depression in EMS patients was constructed and evaluated using a nomogram, receiver operating characteristic curve, and calibration curve., Results: The results of the single factor analysis showed that smoking, coffee, EMS stage, chronic pelvic pain, and sexual discomfort may be related to anxiety. Further, smoking, drinking, spouse, annual household income and EMS stage may be related to depression in EMS patients. Multivariate logistic regression illustrated that smoking, coffee, chronic pelvic pain and sexual discomfort may be independent risk factors for anxiety in EMS patients, while smoking, EMS stage (Phase III and Phase IV), spouse and high annual household income may be independent risk factors for depression in EMS patients. Additionally, the models used to predict the risk of anxiety or depression in EMS patients have good predictive value., Conclusion: The anxiety and depression of EMS patients may be related to many factors. 133 candidate Y-STR loci were selected from NCBI STS database or by bioinformatics analysis in human Y-chromosome sequence, and were screened among 48 DNA samples around the world. Forty-one Y-STRs with high allelic frequency were validated, 36 of which were first reported. Two hundred haplotypes of the 41 STRs were identified among 200 randomly sampled male individuals in Shanghai, indicating 100% inter-individual discrimination. By network analysis of haplotypes of the 41 STRs among nine Jiang-surname male individuals with no consanguinity within 5 generations from a Jiang-surname individual gathering at Jiangshan, Zhejiang Province, and 7 Jiang-surname male individuals from the random shanghai population, 6 Jiang-surname individuals from Jiangshan were close with only 2-4 STR locus difference. These 41 Y-STR loci provide enough information by which individuals from each other with different early modern family origin can be effectively distinguished. This will promote studies on identification of non-lineal relationship in forensics, ancestry location of oversea Chinese, the surname origin and evolution, origin and migration of modern humans and many other studies of Contemporary Anthropology.
