Background/Aims: Adolescent pregnancies are prevalent in Indonesia. This study aimed to explore perceptions from healthcare workers and pregnant adolescents of maternity services for pregnant adolescents. Methods: This qualitative exploratory study involved two policymakers, 10 midwives, five doctors, and 10 pregnant adolescents. Data were collected through structured interviews in public health centre consultation rooms. The data were analysed thematically to explore factors that promoted or hindered use of maternity services for pregnant adolescents. Results: The identified barriers included a lack of tailored directives, challenges in engaging adolescents, insufficient numbers of skilled healthcare professionals, adolescents' fears and compromised confidentiality. Opportunities for improvement included enhancing service quality through strategic planning and specialised training for midwives and psychologists. Conclusions: The study underscores the need to improve maternity services offered for pregnant adolescents by creating a conducive working environment and sensitising healthcare workers and the community to adolescent mothers' needs. Implications for practice: There is a need for guidelines in Indonesia specifically on providing care for pregnant adolescents. Various ammonia-ethanol mole ratios were successfully used for the synthesis of silica nanoparticles for rhodamine B adsorption. This study aims to determine the characteristics of the adsorbent at different ammonia-ethanol mole ratios, maximum adsorption at pH, and contact time. Several steps, including extraction of Na2SiO3 from rice husk ash, synthesis of adsorbents with ammonia-ethanol mole ratios (14:1, 21:1, 28:1, and 42:1), and their characterization. The parameters studied in the adsorbent include the functional groups, particle size, maximum pH, and rate constant adsorption. The FTIR results showed that all adsorbents had functional groups, indicating the presence of silica. The results suggest that the optimum mole ratio of NS 14:1 particles has a size of 39.82 nm. The optimum adsorption of rhodamine B by NS 14:1 occurred at a pH 3 of 0.00419 mmol.g-1 and a contact time of 40 min. The rate constant of adsorption by NS 14:1 was 102.42 g.mmol-1 .min-1 followed a pseudo-second order kinetic model. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This research aims to determine the role of peasant women in maintaining the environment for vegetable farming (kale and spinach unplug) at the Kalampangan sub-district Palangka Raya City. The study was conducted from August 2019 to October 2019. The determination location of this method used purposive and the respondents were 30 female peasant who joined the peasant women group. Descriptive statistical analysis is used to analyze data by describing or describing the collected data as it is without intending to make generalized conclusions or generalizations. Based on the field results of this research, the peasant women have been trying to carry out farming activities by observing environmental aspects, the role could be seen by directly activities through farming activities that are on soil processing activities, planting, harvesting, sorting and packing of production results. And also their role in providing information and understanding also encouragement to the peasant (husband) on the dangers of using anorganic materials on land clearing activities, weed handling, fertilization, and pest control for health and the environment. It supports the ecofeminism theories states that women are closely related to ecology. Women have a special instinct of the environment through the daily activities that have not been realised that it demonstrates the faithful nature of future generations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
