The study purpose was to develop a selection technique in martial arts based on indices of physical development using Wald's sequential analysis. Materials and methods. 12 anthropometric indicators were determined. 9 indexes of physical development were calculated on their basis. 16 elite athletes (candidates for masters and masters of sports) were divided into two groups. Group 1 included 7 athletes (judo, sambo, Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling) aged 18.43±0.43. Group 2 included 9 kickboxing athletes aged 18.22±0.52. Results. A prognostic table containing indices of physical development has been developed. The informativeness of the indicators varied within 296.15–1.73. The content of the prognosis consists of evaluating the results, determining the corresponding coefficients and summing these coefficients until one of the prognostic thresholds is reached. Background and Study Aim. The increase in the popularity of sports dances recently has been confirmed. Dancing combines sports and aesthetic components. Dances are used for sports, recreational and rehabilitation purposes. The study aim is an analytical analysis of publications devoted to sports dances and the determination of priority scientific areas in this field. Material and Methods. The bibliometric database Web of Science Core Collection (WoS) is analyzed. For the primary analysis, 618 sources were selected which met the search criteria for 2018–2022. We used bibliometric methods for processing the information received in the context of sports dances for 173 sources. The VOSviewer 1.6.18 program was used: keyword analysis method and direct citation analysis with the construction of bibliometric maps, visualization of cluster density, weights – citations. Results. The constructed bibliometric maps made it possible to identify the leading thematic areas of research, current areas of research in this field. They can be divided into sports, recreational, medical and rehabilitation areas. The sports context is aimed at studying the performance of technical elements, the development of the physical qualities of athletes, the assessment of physical fitness, the dynamics of the morphofunctional state. Psychophysiological studies are aimed at analyzing balance and equilibrium. Publications of a recreational orientation study the health-improving use of dances, their impact on health. The medical and rehabilitation direction explores the features of sports injuries in dancing, injury prevention and the possibility of using dances in the complex rehabilitation. The use of the VOSviewer program, version 1.6.18, made it possible to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the problem, to determine the priority scientific directions in this area. Conclusions. The conducted bibliometric analysis of publications confirms the relevance of the problem of sports dances. A constant research interest in this problem has been determined. Research in this area has a pronounced sports and medical focus. Bibliometric analysis of publications allows identification the three following areas: sports, recreation and rehabilitation. Dancing is being explored as a sport, a form of physical activity, and a form of rehabilitation. A fairly high level of sports injuries has led to interest in the analysis of the prevalence and prevention of injuries. Its characteristic feature is the intersection of these directions. The study of athletes’ state confirmed the lack of works devoted to a comprehensive study of athletes, predicting success and skill growth. There are not enough works studying the physical state of sports dancers. There are practically no studies aimed at studying the psychophysiological state. These types of studies should be assessed as relevant., Передумови та мета. Підтверджено зростання популярності спортивних танців останніми роками. Танці поєднують спортивну та естетичну складові. Танці застосовуються зі спортивними, рекреаційними та реабілітаційними цілями. Мета статті - аналітичний аналіз публікацій, присвячених спортивним танцям, та встановлення пріоритетних наукових напрямів у цій галузі.Матеріал та методи. Проаналізовано бібліометричну базу Web of Science Core Collection (WoS). Для первинного аналізу відібрано 618 джерел, які відповідали критеріям пошуку за 2018-2022 роки. Використовували бібліометричні методи обробки отриманої інформації у контексті спортивних танців для 173 джерел. Використовувалася програма VOSviewer 1.6.18: метод аналізу ключових слів та аналіз прямого цитування з побудовою бібліометричних карт, візуалізація кластерної густини, ваги – цитати.Результати. Побудовані бібліометричні карти дозволили визначити провідні тематичні галузі досліджень, актуальні напрями досліджень у цій галузі. Вони можуть бути поділені на спортивний, рекреаційний та лікувально-реабілітаційний напрямки. Спортивний контекст спрямовано вивчення виконання технічних елементів, розвитку фізичних якостей атлетів, оцінці фізичної підготовленості, динаміці морфофункціонального стану. Психофізіологічні дослідження спрямовані на аналіз балансу та рівноваги. Публікації рекреаційного спрямування вивчають оздоровче використання танців, їх вплив на здоров'я. Лікувально-реабілітаційний напрямок досліджує особливості спортивного травматизму в танцях, профілактику травм та можливості застосування танців у комплексній реабілітації. Використання програми VOSviewer, версія 1.6.18 дозволило дати комплексний аналіз проблеми, визначити пріоритетні наукові напрями у цій галузі. Висновки. Проведений бібліометричний аналіз публікацій підтверджує актуальність проблеми спортивних танців цього. Встановлено постійний дослідницький інтерес до цієї проблеми. Дослідження у цій галузі мають виражену спортивно-медичну спрямованість. Бібліометричний аналіз публікацій дозволяє виділити три напрями: спортивний, рекреаційний та реабілітаційний. Танці досліджуються як вид спорту, вид фізичної активності та вид реабілітації. Досить високий рівень спортивного травматизму зумовив інтерес до аналізу поширеності та профілактики травм. Характерною особливістю є перетин цих напрямків. При вивченні стану атлетів практично відсутні роботи, присвячені комплексному дослідженню атлетів, прогнозування успішності та зростання майстерності. Недостатньо робіт, які вивчають фізичний стан спортивних танцюристів. Фактично немає робіт, вкладених у вивчення психофізіологічного стану. Дані види досліджень мають бути оцінені як актуальні.

Background and Study Aim. Purpose of the research: analysis of the influence of health-improving fitness classes of various orientations on the degree of fat deposition in women of the second mature age. Material and Methods. Participants: group 1 – 40 women, (43.33 ± 0.93) years, group 2 – 25 women, (44.40 ± 0.93) years. The participants trained for 8 months, three times a week for 1 hour. Group 1 – classes in dance aerobics (Monday), strength fitness (Wednesday) and stretching (Friday). Group 2 – stretching only. Before the start and after the end of the program, the body weight and length were determined, the degree of fat deposition using a calipermeter at 17 points, the body mass index was calculated. Results. In group 1, there was a significant decrease in body weight, BMI, a decrease in the thickness of skin and fat folds at all points. In group 2, a significant decrease in body weight, BMI, a decrease in the thickness of folds at 13 points in 60-96% of participants was established. At the end of the study, group 1 had a smaller size of the folds of the thighs and left forearm compared to group 2. Regular exercise leads to a decrease in body weight BMI, a decrease in body fat. Complex classes have a more pronounced effect compared to stretching. This type of training is more effective in terms of the dynamics of the criteria used and the number of participants with the established changes. The sessions provided an increase in the number of persons with a normal BMI and a decrease in the number of obese participants. Conclusions. The applied indicators and methods can be recommended for use in health monitoring in health fitness., Передумови та мета дослідження. Мета дослідження: аналіз впливу оздоровчих фітнес-занять різної спрямованості на ступінь жирового відкладення у жінок ІІ зрілого віку.Матеріал і методи. Учасники: 1 група – 40 жінок, (43,33 ± 0,93) років, 2 група – 25 жінок, (44,40 ± 0,93) років. Учасники тренувалися 8 місяців тричі на тиждень по 1 годині. 1 група – заняття з танцювальної аеробіки (понеділок), силового фітнесу (середа) та стретчингу (п’ятниця). 2 група – тільки розтяжка. Перед початком і після закінчення програми визначали масу і довжину тіла, вимірювали ступінь жировідкладення за допомогою каліперметра на 17 балів, розраховували індекс маси тіла.Результати. У 1 групі спостерігалося достовірне зниження маси тіла, ІМТ, зменшення товщини шкірно-жирових складок у всіх точках. У 2 групі встановлено достовірне зниження маси тіла, ІМТ, зменшення товщини складок на 13 балів у 60-96% учасників. Наприкінці дослідження група 1 мала менший розмір складок стегон і лівого передпліччя порівняно з групою 2. Регулярні фізичні навантаження призводять до зниження маси тіла ІМТ, зменшення жирової тканини. Комплексні заняття мають більш виражений ефект у порівнянні з розтяжкою. Цей вид навчання є ефективнішим за динамікою використовуваних критеріїв та кількістю учасників із встановленими змінами. Сеанси забезпечили збільшення кількості осіб із нормальним ІМТ та зменшення кількості учасників з ожирінням.Висновки. Застосовані показники та методи можуть бути рекомендовані для використання в моніторингу здоров’я в оздоровчому фітнесі.

Background and Study Aim. The importance of psychophysiological features in optimizing the functional state of athletes is beyond doubt. The aim of this study was a comparative analysis of the psychophysiological features of taekwondo athletes of different age groups. Material and Methods. The study involved 42 taekwondo athletes, skill level 2 Gup – 1 Dan. The participants were divided into groups of 14 people. Group 1 – (7.50±0.14) years, Group 2 – (10.07±0.22) years, Group 3 – (13.36±0.27) years. A special computer program for devices with the iOS operating system was used. The Apple iPad, 4th generation with a screen diagonal of 9.7 inches was used. The following tests were used: reaction choice (RC), reaction to a moving object (RMO) and size test (ST). The results of the groups were compared using the nonparametric Rosenbaum test (Q), and the Pearson correlation coefficient (r) was determined. Results. Purpose. The purpose of the article is a comparative analysis of the morphological indicators of street workout (StW) athletes with different training experience (TE). Materials and methods. The study involved StW athletes (n = 27). Athletes were divided into two groups: StW-1 (n = 13, age 15.15 ± 0.44 years, TE 1.56 ± 0.22 years); StW-2 (n = 14, age 16.57 ± 0.48 years, TE 2.64 ± 0.53 years). The body length and body mass were measured; the level and harmony of physical development were evaluated. The regression method was used. The handgrip was evaluated by hand dynamometry indicators Camry EH101 electronic dynamometer (China). The handgrip was measured by the maximum grip frequency in 10 s the electronic device "Kepai" (China). The content of muscle and adipose tissue were determined by the body composition monitor OMRON BF-511 (Japan). Results. The average value of the strength index in the StW-1 was more than 60%, and in the StW-2 was more than 70%. The StW-2 had a significant excess of the hand dynamometry, power index, impulse index of both hands; index of static and dynamic grip of the left hand; specific weight of muscles. The average level of physical development was observed in (61.54 ± 13.49)%, above the average was observed in (23.08 ± 11.69)% of StW-1. Harmonious physical development had (38.46 ± 13.49)%. In StW-2, the average level of physical development had (64.29 ± 12.81)%, above the average had (21.43 ± 10.97)%. Harmonious physical development had (50.00 ± 13.36)%. In StW-1 (46.15 ± 13.83)% had a normal fat content and a fat level below normal. In StW-2, the normal fat content had (30.77 ± 12.80)%, and the low adipose tissue content was (69.23 ± 12.80)%. Conclusions. All athletes had a high content of muscle tissue. It was confirmed the specific effect of StW on the body of athletes. Grip strength, specific weight of muscle component are predictors of success. The information content of the proposed indices for monitoring the functional state of athletes was confirmed.

Background and Study Aim. The aim of the article is a comparative analysis of the morphofunctional characteristics of athletes of various types of martial arts as factors of success. Material and Methods. The study participated students involved in martial arts (n = 29; age - 17.53 ± 0.15 years). The first group (group 1 - wrestlers) included judo, sambo, wrestling athletes (n = 12, age - 18.58 ± 0.38 years). The second group (group 2 - athletes of percussion martial arts) included athletes of karate, taekwondo (GTF), taekwondo (WTF), (n = 17; age - 18.12 ± 0.26 years). Determined 46 morphofunctional indicators: length and body weight; chest circumference in a pause, on inhalation and exhalation; length and circumference of the segments of the upper and lower extremities; wrist dynamometry. A goniometric study of the range of motion in the joints of the upper extremities was carried out. The dynamic grip strength was determined by the maximum frequency of hand squeezing in 10 seconds. To characterize the data, the median was determined - the first (25%) and third (75%) quartiles. Differences between groups were assessed using nonparametric criteria of Wilkinson-Mann-Whitney (U) and Rosenbaum (Q). Results. Athletes in group 1 had a greater interquartile range compared to athletes in group 1 in the following indicators: body weight; chest circumference in a pause, on inhalation and exhalation; hand dynamometry of the right and left hands; maximum frequency of the hand grip in the impulse mode with the left hand; shoulder width; circumference of the shoulder, forearm, thigh and lower leg. Athletes of percussion martial arts were characterized by large values of the shin length. The amplitude of abduction and adduction in the right wrist joint, the amplitude of abduction in the left wrist joint was greater in the wrestlers. Athletes of percussion martial arts had a large amount of extension of the left wrist joint, flexion of the right elbow joint, extension and abduction of the right shoulder joint. Conclusions. Analysis of morphofunctional indicators of athletes of various types of martial arts confirmed the specific effect of the sport on the body of athletes. The features that are the factors of success are highlighted. For wrestlers, these include hand strength in various modes. It allows to implement quickly and efficiently grip. This is the basis for a successful wrestling technique. Sufficient development of the muscles of the limbs ensures the execution of throws in wrestling. The lengthened calf size contributes to a more effective kick in martial arts. Goniometric features of movements reflect the possibility of high-quality gripping, striking or blocking. The used morphofunctional indicators can be applied to predict the success of athletes in various types of martial arts.

Gadolinium orthovanadate GdVO4:Eu3+ nanoparticles (VNPs) have been shown to scavenge reactive oxygen species (ROS), making them a promising therapeutic agent in inflammation. This study aims to assess the effects of VNPs administered orally on E407a-induced inflammation. Materials and Methods: Fragments of the small intestine of 8 rats treated orally with a carrageenan-containing food additive E407a at a dose of 140 mg / kg of weight during 2 weeks, 8 animals orally exposed to both E407a and VNPs at a dose of 20 μg / kg of weight during the same period of time, and 8 control rats were stained routinely and immunostained for CD3 and CD68 with the subsequent immunohistochemical scoring. Moreover, analysis of viability and cell death modes of granulocytes was performed by flow cytometry using Annexin V and 7-aminoactinomycin D (7-AAD). Results: Oral exposure to the food additive E407a resulted in the development of enteritis associated with altered small intestinal morphology, infiltration of the lamina propria with macrophages and T-lymphocytes, and activation of peripheral blood granulocyte apoptosis. VNPs administered against the background of E407a-induced slight intestinal inflammation improved small intestinal morphology, decreased infiltration rate of the immune cells mentioned above without affecting the intensity of granulocyte apoptosis. Conclusion: Oral administration of VNPs ameliorates E407a-induced enteritis.

Background and Study Aim. The aim of this research was to examine The effect of depression among taekwondo students and its relationship with negative events due to COVID-19 in Mazandaran University. Material and Methods. This research was conducted on the appropriate sample of 116 Taekwondo students from Mazandaran university, being 18-24 years old. The applied measure instruments were - Adolescent Perceived Events Scale, Automatic Thoughts Questionnaire, General Self-Efficacy Scale, Confrontation with Stressing Situation Questionnaire, Social Support Questionnaire, Children's Depression Rating Scale-demonstrated satisfactory reliability. The data was processed using descriptive parameters, Pearson’s correlation coefficient and hierarchy regression analysis & SPSS23 software. Results. Achieved results didn’t show that predictor variables (common automatic thoughts, the sense of general self-efficiency, confrontation strategies and perceived support of family, coach and team peers) are the cause of the common negative events due to COVID-19 and depression relations of Taekwondo students in the middle period of adolescence. Conclusions. On contrary, the results have emphasized the fact that mutual relations of common negative events and depression of Taekwondo students, in this young category, can be explained using independent variables (unwilling unconscious negative thoughts, confrontation focused on feelings, as well as support of family, coach and team peers).

The aim: Study of psychophysiological features of children depending on gender in the dynamics of the school year and the action of parents on preventive measures among primary school children Materials and methods: The study of biological adaptation of primary school students was conducted in two stages among second-graders (children 7-8 years) in the dynamics of the week and year. A total of 46 children (24 girls and 22 boys). The psychophysiological part of the study included electroencephalography (EEG) recording to assess the individual characteristics of the nervous system and determine mental performance. The next step was to determine mental performance, which is one of the important criteria for the health of schoolchildren, which characterizes the relationship between the functional state of the child’s body and learning load. The analysis of mental capacity was conducted at school with the permission of parents during the first school week and the last school week. Results: Based on the recorded EEG, the average values of the peak frequencies in each lead in the five ranges were calculated. When comparing the average values of indicators recorded in the modes of quiet wakefulness and mental load (mental account) at the beginning of the year, using a nonparametric criterion of signs revealed significant (p 0.05) by the end of the week , and had the largest number of signs on Wednesday (127.4 ± 4.2) but had no significant difference Conclusions: Preventive measures such as sleep and rest, walks in the fresh air aimed at promoting health can be the same for both girls and boys, but more attention and control over the implementation of these measures should be paid to boys.

Background and Study Aim. To determine the influence of professional training disciplines on the physical fitness level of the folk dance department students. Material and Methods. The study involved students majoring in "Choreography" (males - n = 5; females - n = 10). Tests were used to determine the level of general and special physical qualities development. Background and Study Aim. The study of functional asymmetry in students and schoolchildren practicing martial arts using a computer test. Material and Methods. The study involved students and schoolchildren (n = 38) practicing the martial arts (taekwondo, karate). Participants were divided into groups according to the sports’ skill level. The first group included experienced athletes (n = 15, age – 19.00 ± 0.45 years). The second group included beginners (n = 23, age - 9.78 ± 0.65 years). The functional asymmetry was determined using «Reaction SM Dual» software for tablets with iOS. Two visual tests were used. The duration of each test was 100 s. Each test was divided into 5 stages. Each stage lasts 20 s. The first test (simple reaction) – the participant pushes against the circles on the screen with two hands. The second test (differentiated reaction) – the participant pushes against the circles of the same color (out of five possible) on the screen. The following indicators were determined: the number of pushes with the right and left hand (abs); reaction time with the right and left hand (s); duration of pushes with the right and left hand (ms). It was estimated the following indicators: total number of pushes; average reaction time; average duration of pushes. Results are estimated using parametric and nonparametric statistical indicators. Results. The number of pushes in the test, the reaction rate, and the duration of pushes were significantly higher in experienced athletes. It was determined the asymmetry due to the lower duration of pushes with the right hand compared to the left hand in beginners. The asymmetry was not confirmed in experienced athletes. The reaction rate for the left hand significantly increased compared to stage 1 in beginners: at stage 2 (t = -2.41), at stage 3 (t = -2.23), at stage 4 (t = -2.30) and at stage 5 (t = -2.68). This dependency was less expressed for the right hand. It was confirmed the increase of the reaction rate in comparison with stage 1: at stage 3 (t = -2.39), at stage 4 (t = -2.00) and at stage 5 (t = -2.32). The differences in the dynamics of the test were more expressed in experienced athletes. It was determined the decrease in the number of pushes compared to stage 1: stage 2 (t = 2.53), stage 4 (t = 2.89) and stage 5 (t = 2.61). For the right hand, this pattern was more expressed. The decrease in the number of pushes was determined compared with stage 1: stage 2 (t = 2.17), stage 3 (t = 2.07), stage 4 (t = 2.39) and stage 5 (t = 2.94). Experienced athletes have confirmed significant changes in the reaction rate with their left hand compared to stage 1: stage 4 (t = -2.33) and stage 5 (t = -2.06). For the right hand, this pattern was confirmed only for the final stage of the test (t = -2.35). Conclusions. It was confirmed the legitimacy of using a special computer test to study functional asymmetry in students and schoolchildren practicing martial arts. The test division into several stages can significantly increase the information content of the results. The applied battery of indicators provides the necessary information for the analysis of asymmetry. It was determined the best functional condition of experienced athletes compared to beginners. Experienced athletes demonstrate the best ability to mobilize and concentrate on extreme conditions. The dynamics of the test also confirms the asymmetry in athletes with less training experience. Performing a test with a differentiated stimulus confirmed the revealed patterns. The lack of asymmetry in experienced athletes confirms optimal training tactics. The asymmetry in beginners stipulates the correction of training. Used computer test can be recommended for martial arts athletes’ condition monitoring.

Analysis of grip strength and somatotype features of armwrestling athletes of different skill levels

The purpose of this study was a comparative analysis of the physical development of armwrestling athletes with different levels of sports mastery applying the index method. Participants: 37 athletes were divided into two groups. Group 1 (n = 17, age - 18.94 ± 0.57 years), qualification – from beginners to 1 rank athletes. Group 2 (n = 20) age – 25.60 ± 1.10 years), qualification – from the candidate for the master of sports to the international master of sport.19 anthropometric indices were applied for the analysis. Results: average results dominated by body mass index. The athletes with a shoulder width index below the norm prevailed in group 1. Erisman index for the majority of participants in group 2 complied with the standards. The athletes with a strong body build prevailed by Pignet index. The average Livi index is set in 40-47% of athletes. All athletes had a hypersthenic body build by Vervek index. Qualified athletes demonstrated the significant increase in body mass index, shoulder width, Erisman index, Livi index, Vervek index, body surface and relative body surface, limb segment mass and conditional moments of the force of limb segments strength. It was impossible to determine any significant differences between the groups by power and vital indices. Conclusions: It was confirmed the effectiveness of the physical development analysis of armwrestling athletes by indexes. Qualified athletes are characterized by high index values demonstrated muscle development. The mass indices and conditional moments of force of the limb segments strength demonstrate the predictors of success.

Introduction: The athletic potential of athletes depends on functional condition parameters. They determine physical and mental performance. Their evaluation is part of the athletes’ condition monitoring in many sports. The purpose of the study was the comparative analysis of the athletes’ functional condition in cyclic and situational sports. Materials and methods: The study involved 31 students from specialized sport school aged 16-17. The participants were divided into two groups depending on the sport: 1st group - 20 martial arts athletes (Greco-Roman wrestling, freestyle wrestling, judo), 2nd group - 11 water sports athletes (swimming). The level of sportsmanship was Candidates and Masters of Sports. The following tests were applied: determination of the individual minute duration (IM) (s), measuring of a 10 cm segment, (cm), and determination of simple hand-eye coordination (SHEyC), (s), and simple hand-ear coordination (SHEaC), (s), “Figures memorizing” technique, solution of 10 sums. Results : The IM test results reflect the predominance of earlier completion of the test. This tendency more expressed in martial arts athletes. The results of measuring a segment were lower in all tests in the 1st group and in 9 tests in the 2nd group. The vision reaction in 4 tests out of 10 was better in martial arts athletes. The response to the auditory stimulus in 5 tests out of 10 and the average result was better in martial arts athletes. The results of figures memorizing test were most often average. The swimmers memorize significantly fewer figures according to 3 tests. The results of the solution of sums were similar. Conclusions : The use of a battery test allows giving a comparative analysis of the functional condition of different sports athletes. The stability of IM test results indicates sufficient adaptation reserves of the participants. The analysis of the results of the measuring of segment test allows evaluating the ability to spatial orientation as an important for success quality in martial arts and water sports. The importance of the response rate for the success of both martial arts athletes and swimmers confirmed. The martial arts athletes’ results were significantly better. This confirms their ability to concentrate, to stay focused longer. The results allow considering the response rate to an auditory stimulus as an important indicator for predicting success. The figures memorizing test also reflects the specificity of sports. It illustrates the ability of athletes to control the environment, manage the situation. This ability is significantly better in martial arts athletes. The dynamics of solving sums results suggest some complexity with a long focusing on the swimmers and better parameters in martial arts athletes. The simplicity, accessibility and informative nature of the used tests suggest their use in the athletes’ functional condition monitoring.

Analyzed in this article are historical aspects of the Kharkiv school of food hygiene and nutritiology from its inception to the present. Key stages of development are identified, including university stage (since the opening of the Department of Hygiene at the Kharkiv Imperial University in 1873 under the leadership of Professor A.I. Iakobii), department stage (since the early 1930s under the leadership of Associate Professor M.Z. Lukyanovich, Professor V.O. Sivoronov, Associate Professor M.I. Ivashchenko, and since 1983 – Professor M.V. Krivonosov), as well as interuniversity stage (since the beginning of the 21st century to the present, with the involvement of specialists not only from various universities of Kharkiv, but also scientists from other cities). Principal directions of the department stage of the period are assessment of actual nutrition, developing rationale for focus of a diet, limiting imbalanced peroxidation of lipids with food antioxidants, alimentary prevention and rehabilitation of pre-nosological conditions, increasing potential of adaptive capabilities of children affected by the Chernobyl disaster, the issue of phytoadaptogens, the development of nutritiology, the concept of "alimentary-related pre-nosology", the issue of health and nutrition monitoring, developing rationale for focus of nutrition of athletes in strength sports, studying the eating behavior of students. The interuniversity stage demonstrates continuity of all periods of development of the scientific school and is characterized by the active use of alimentary methods in health monitoring, the introduction of principles of sport nutritiology stemming from studies of the Professor M.V. Krivonosov. Activity of specialists during the existence of the school is analyzed and key scientific achievements and publications in professional journals and scientometric publications are covered. To develop a methodology for predicting success in artistic swimming based on a set of morphofunctional indicators and indices, 30 schoolgirls, average age (12.00 ± 0.22), were divided into two groups. Group 1: 15 athletes, training experience 4–5 years. Group 2: 15 schoolgirls without training experience. For each participant, we determined the length and weight of the body, the circumference of the chest, vital lung capacity, and the circumference of the biceps in a tense and at rest. The Erisman index, biceps index, and the ratio of proper and actual vital lung capacity was calculated. Them, we conducted the Stange and Genchi hypoxic tests, and flexibility tests for “Split”, “Crab position”, and “Forward bend”. Prediction was conducted using the Wald test with the calculation of predictive coefficients and their informativeness. A predictive table containing results of functional tests and indices of artistic swimming athletes is developed. It includes nine criteria, which informativeness varied in the range of 395.70–31.98. The content of the prediction consists of evaluating the results, determining the appropriate predictive coefficient, and summing these coefficients before reaching one of the predictive thresholds. The conducted research allowed us to substantiate and develop a method for predicting the success of female athletes with the use of morphofunctional indicators and indices.

Background and Study Aim. The purpose of the work is a comparative analysis of morphological and functional indicators and characteristics of the somatotype of armwrestling athletes and street workout athletes. Material and Methods. The study involved Street Workout athletes (StW, n = 15, age - 14.87 ± 0.42 years, training experience - 1.48 ± 0.22 years) and armwrestling athletes (ArW, n = 11, age - 14.87 ± 0.42 years, training experience - 1.48 ± 0.22 years). The body length and body mass were determined. The level and harmony of physical development were assessed by the regression method. Handgrip was assessed in a static mode. The electronic handgrip dynamometer Camry EH101 (China) was used. The handgrip is determined by the maximum frequency of the grip in 10 s. The electronic device "Kepai" (China) was used to measure it. The content of muscle and adipose tissue, the level of visceral fat were determined. The body structure monitor OMRON BF-511 (Japan) was used. The handgrip index, hand impulse index, static and dynamic handgrip index were calculated. Differences were assessed using the Rosenbaum test (Q). Results. A high level of handgrip was determined for all athletes. The average value of the strength index was the StW group - more than 60% of body mass; the ArW group - more than 70% of body mass. The following indicators were observed in the ArW group: harmonious physical development had (27.27 ± 13.43)% of athletes; disharmony due to excess body mass had (45.45 ± 15.01)% of athletes; disharmony due to body mass deficit had (27.27 ± 13.43)% of athletes; normal fat content had (63.64 ± 14.50)% of athletes; low-fat content had (18.18 ± 11.63)% of athletes; high and high-fat content had (9.09 ± 8.67)% of athletes. The ArW group was characterized by high - (50.00 ± 15.81)%, high - (40.00 ± 15.49)%, and normal - (10.00 ± 9.49)%-the specific weight of muscle tissue. In the StW group, the following indicators were observed: harmonious physical development had (46.67 ± 12.88)% of athletes; disharmony due to excess body mass had (53.33 ± 12.88)% of athletes; normal fat content had (57.14 ± 13.23)% of athletes; low-fat content had (42.86 ± 13.23)% of athletes. All athletes in the StW group had a high proportion of muscle tissue. It was found that exercises with your body mass in a street workout decreased fat content compared to armwrestling. Conclusions. The results confirmed the specific effect of the sport on the body of athletes. Handgrip should be considered as a success predictor in these sports. Для цього використовували монітор складу тіла OMRON BF-511 (Японія). Розраховували силовий індекс кисті, імпульсний індекс кисті, індекс статичного і динамічного хвата кисті. Відмінності оцінювали за допомогою критерію Розенбаума (Q).Результати. Встановлено високий рівень сили кисті у всіх атлетів. Середня величина силового індексу склала: група StW - понад 60% від маси тіла; група ArW - більше 70% від маси тіла. У групі ArW спостерігалися наступні показники: гармонійний фізичний розвиток - (27.27 ± 13.43)% атлетів; дисгармоничность за рахунок надлишку маси тіла - (45.45 ± 15.01)% атлетів; дисгармоничность за рахунок дефіциту маси тіла - (27.27 ± 13.43)% атлетів; нормальний вміст жиру - (63.64 ± 14.50)% атлетів; низький вміст жиру - (18.18 ± 11.63)% атлетів; високе і дуже високий вміст жиру - (9.09 ± 8.67)% атлетів. Група ArW характеризувалася високим - (50.00 ± 15.81)%, дуже високим - (40.00 ± 15.49)% і нормальним - (10.00 ± 9.49)% питомою вагою м'язової тканини. У групі StW спостерігалися наступні показники: гармонійний фізичний розвиток - (46.67 ± 12.88)% атлетів; дисгармоничность за рахунок надлишку маси тіла - (53.33 ± 12.88)% атлетів; нормальний вміст жиру - (57.14 ± 13.23)% атлетів; низький рівень вмісту жиру (42.86 ± 13.23)% атлетів. Всі атлети групи StW мали високу питому вагу м'язової тканини. Встановлено, що виконання вправ з вагою власного тіла в вуличного воркауту зумовило зменшення вмісту жиру в порівнянні з заняттями армрестлінгом.Висновки. Результати підтвердили специфічний вплив виду спорту на організм атлетів. Сила хвата кисті повинна бути віднесена до предикторам успіху в цих видах спорту. Підтверджено інформативність запропонованих індексів сили хвата для моніторингу функціонального стану атлетів.

Purpose : Comparative analysis of the physical development features and somatotype of girls and women involved in fitness. Material : The experiment involved 95 girls and women, divided into 2 groups. Group 1 - 48 girls (36.04 ± 0.19) years, Group 2 - 47 women (43.26 ± 0.22) years, (p 0.05). Conclusions : it was determined the proximity of the main anthropometric parameters (mass and body length). The girls have lower values of the hip circumference. Persons with asthenic body type prevailed among the participants. Analysis of the indices confirmed the high prevalence of overweight and high risk of developing metabolic syndrome. The application of bio-impedance method confirmed and clarified the results of anthropometric research. The participants demonstrated the increased content of subcutaneous and visceral fat, increasing with age. The water level in the body gradually decreases with age. This is considered as a reflection of age-related physiological changes in metabolism and should be considered in fitness training organizing. Studies have confirmed the informativeness and adequacy of the bio-impedance method.

The study aimed to determine the suitability of testing the saliva of kickboxing athletes to show changes in biochemical parameters in dynamic of training. 8 elite male athletes (mean age 17.29± 0.31 years, body mass 66.82± 3.46kg, with 5.62±0.96 years of training experience) participated in the study. Indicators of lipid peroxidation and glycolysis (the concentration of lactic acid and pyruvic acid) were defined before and after a training session. Significant increases in indicators of lipid peroxidation activity indicators and the concentration of lactic acid (4-fold) were observed; analysis of correlation matrices confirms the absence of expressed changes. At the same time, significant decreases in catalase (10-fold from 3.69μkat/L to 0.39μkat/L) and pyruvic acid (from 3.92μl/l to 0.55μl/l) were observed. Our results confirm the value of using saliva to determine training load in an individual. Moreover, the study provided information on the importance of indexes reflecting a correlation of various biochemical indicators to estimate the sufficiency of training loads. The ease of sampling and informational content of saliva are reasons to use such tests in monitoring athletes’ functional state to prevent fatigue.

Purpose: the comparative analysis of the physical development and somatotype of girls and females involved in dancing and gymnastic sports (acrobatic rock and roll, sports aerobics) Material: The study involved 45 girls and females. Group 1 - acrobatic rock and roll (n = 25, age - 13.00 ± 0.41 years); Group 2 - sports aerobics (n = 20, age - 19.70 ± 0.59 years). It was determined the length and body weight. It was evaluated the level and harmony of physical development. The bioimpedance method was applied to determine the composition of muscle and fat tissue, the level of visceral fat. It was evaluated the body mass index, water composition in the body. The results are evaluated by applying parametric and non-parametric statistical indicators. Results: the average level of physical development dominates in athletes. Its specific gravity is: group 1 - (64.00 ± 9.60)%; group 2 - (50 ± 11.18)%. Rather high prevalence of the level below the average: group 1 - (20.00 ± 8.00)%; group 2 - (25.00 ± 9.68)%. The proportion of athletes with harmonious development was: group 1 - (64.00 ± 9.60)%; group 2 - (50.00 ± 11.18)%. The disharmony of physical development due to overweight: group 1 - (20.00 ± 8.00)%; group 2 - (30.00 ± 10.25)%. The disharmony of development due to underweight: group 1 - (16.00 ± 7.33)%; group 2 - (20.00 ± 8.94)%. The average values of fat tissue reflect its normal composition in both groups. In group 1, was determined the normal for the age fat composition in (52.00 ± 9.99)%; low level of fat had (48.00 ± 9.99)%. In group 2, the normal fat composition was found in (75.00 ± 9.68)%. The increased fat composition was (15.00 ± 7.98)% of female athletes. The reduced fat composition was (10.00 ± 7.61)% of female athletes. The level of visceral fat in athletes of group 2 was within the age norm. Female athletes of group 1 were characterized by virtually no visceral fat. The specific gravity of muscle tissue in all athletes was above the average for this age group. Group water composition in both groups was average. Conclusions: Most athletes have an average harmonious physical development. Deviations of physical development are most often associated with underweight. It is determined the increase in the composition of muscle mass above the average age standards for all female athletes. The composition of fat tissue in 52% of female athletes of the younger group corresponded to the average value. The rest of the athletes had a fat composition below normal. In the older group: 75% of athletes had an average fat composition; 15% of athletes had a reduced fat composition; 10% of athletes had a high fat composition. It was determined the significant differences between groups. The female athletes of group 1 had smaller values of body length, body weight, the specific gravity of fat tissue and visceral fat, body water composition, and body mass index. Females of group 1 had a big specific gravity of muscle tissue. The application of the bioimpedance method has significantly expanded the data obtained in the analysis of anthropometric indicators and indices. This method can be recommended for monitoring the functional condition of athletes dancing and gymnastic sports.

Passion for computer games negatively affects the health level of schoolchildren. Among the approaches to monitoring the functional state of such schoolchildren, the most informative and painless is the study of the saliva. The study involved 45 children, aged 14.00 ± 0.21 years, and divided according to the contact’s intensity with computer games. The following indicators of lipid peroxidation (LPO) were determined in the saliva: indicators of the antioxidant (AO) system, concentration of immunoglobulin A, and hormonal indicators. The significant increases in the catecholamine (adrenaline) level for 2.3 times and biogenic amine–serotonin for 35.5% and increase in the LPO-DC product concentration in gamers for 75.8% were revealed. The study of the schoolchildren’s homeostasis peculiarities confirmed the adequacy of the use of biochemical techniques to assess the condition of children gamers. They have a prenosological condition. This is reflected in the increase in LPO intensity, failure of the protective AO system, imbalance of hormonal state, and immunity deterioration. Information on the evaluation of the LPO activity processes and the AO system condition and the degree of the balance’s shift between prooxidants and antioxidants in biological substrates can be considered objective and very sensitive indicators of the general condition, activity, and improvement of the regulation and maintenance of homeostasis.

To analyze the influence of health-related fitness on the condition of second mature aged women. Participants: 65 women divided into two groups. Group 1&ndash, 40 women, (43.33 &plusmn, 0.93) years old and group 2&ndash, 25 women (44.40 &plusmn, 0.93) years old. The participants trained for 8 months, three times a week for 1 h. Group 1 trained dance aerobics (Monday), strength fitness (Wednesday) and stretching (Friday). Group 2 trained only stretching. The body length and mass, handgrip strength test, vital capacity, blood pressure, heart rate, Stange and Genchi tests, and motion amplitude in joints were evaluated before and after the program. The significance of the differences between the groups was evaluated by Student&rsquo, s criterion (t) and Rosenbaum (Q). The different intensity of the health-related effect was confirmed at the end of the program. Physiometric indicators significantly increased in group 1. The complex physical activity led to a decrease in heart rate. The results of the Stange and Genchi tests significantly increased. Goniometric indicators of group 2 increased. The comparative analysis of the participants indicators confirms the generalized and higher health-related effect of the complex fitness program. The effect of such a program showed an increase of the adaptive potential, a significant increase in the functional capabilities of women, and the optimization of the studied indicators. With the same time expenditure for health-related fitness, the complex program has a more multifaceted effect in comparison with stretching.

Introduction: The study of athletes’ psychophysiological characteristics is one of the major problem at sports science. The aim of the study is to perform comparative analysis of athletes’ power and adaptive capacities during the implementation process of controlled activity, like performing screen-selection activity. Materials and methods: In research participated divided into 3 groups martial arts athletes: taekwon-do ITF and karate WTF (n=34); Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling athletes (n=18); sambo and judo athletes (n=11). As a device, a tablet of Apple company - iPad, fourth-generation, with 9,7-inch screen was used. For the heart rate (HR) registration it was used BT4.0&ANT+ Heart Rate Monitor. Participants performed a sample: the response rate of the selection. The attempt was to react to one given signal from the five proposed. Results: Taekwon-do ITF athletes, karate WTF, hand-to -hand combat showed the best reaction selection time rates. The worst reaction selection time rates were shown by Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling athletes. Conclusions: The handled comparative analysis reaction time of selection for athletes of different kinds of martial arts has verified its high informative value. Taekwon-do ITF, karate WTF, hand-to -hand combat athletes have better results. The results suggest that participants’ state of adaptiveness was normal. The high informative value of used test allows recommend it as screening in the selection of promising athletes to the combat martial arts which mostly emphasize striking techniques.

Purpose: To substantiate and develop a methodology for predicting success in kickboxing on the basis of analysis of morphofunctional, physiological, biomechanical and psychophysiological indicators. Material: it was examined athletes of kickboxing (n=185, age 18.58 +- 0.46 years). It was studied the features of physical development (n = 18). The main biomechanical parameters (n=45) were determined. Goniometric indices of limb joints (n=29) were studied. It was studied the features of psychophysiological reactions (n =76). The adaptive capabilities of the cardiovascular system were studied (n=17). The prognostication is carried out by means of a sequential Wald procedure. Prognostic coefficients and their informativity were calculated. Results: a prognostic table was developed containing the indicators of the functional state of kickboxing athletes. The table includes 31 criteria, the informativeness of which varied within 115,45 - 2,23. The content of the forecast consists in: an evaluation of the results; determination of the corresponding prognostic coefficient; summation of coefficients. Study aim. The aim of the research is a comparative analysis of psychophysiological features of athletes of practicing different martial arts. Methods. 46 elite wrestlers participated in a research were divided into three groups: Greco-Roman wrestlers, freestyle wrestlers, judo athletes and sambo athletes. It was applied computer complex of 10 psychophysiological tests. The applied tests allow to give the complex analysis to psychophysiological features of athletes, to evaluate the speed of reaction to different signals, coordination, concentration, sense of space. Results. It was determined specific influence of a type of martial arts on the studied indicators. Athletes of technical martial arts (judo, sambo) demonstrated the best results in the following tests: simple visual-motor reaction, tapping-test, choice reaction, reproduction of line and coincidence of shape. The worst results of athletes practicing strength sport (Greco-Roman wrestling and freestyle wrestling) witnesses that speed of reaction to different irritators is not the leading predictor of their success. Results of reaction to moving object, the reaction of recognition, the choice reaction of half of the screen and temp reproduction were better in Greco-Roman wrestlers. Conclusions. These data show the high level of athletes’ training, confirm the specificity of these tests for single combats. The applied tests are informative for estimation of the functional condition of athletes. Dynamics of their results gives necessary information for the prediction of athletes’ success and can be used in the monitoring of their condition.

Цель : изучение взаимосвязей морфофункциональных показателей у студентов и их влияние на уровень спортивного мастерства. Материал : в исследовании участвовало 17 студентов, занимающихся единоборствами. Определяли 62 показателя: антропометрические, гониометрические критерии состояния суставов рук, теппинг-тест и максимальную частоту хвата в импульсном режиме. Результаты : установлено, что максимальной величиной вклада в систему характеризуется кистевая динамометрия правой и левой руки, длина и масса тела, окружность грудной клетки, ширина плеч, максимальная частота хвата правой и левой рукой. Подтверждено наличие корреляционных зависимостей между морфофункциональными показателями студентов. Наибольшим вкладом в формирование функциональной системы характеризуются антропометрические показатели. Результаты максимального хвата в импульсном режиме имели достаточный вклад в системообразование, что подтверждается наличием большого количества корреляций. Анализ характера, силы и направленности связей свидетельствует об информативности этого теста и позволяет рекомендовать его в качестве скрининга при контроле состояния спортсменов. Выводы : Установленные показатели системообразования кистевой динамометрии иллюстрируют, что для единоборцев важна способность к сильному хвату. Она обеспечивается силой мышц кисти. Причем ведущая рука характеризуется значимо большим вкладом., Purpose: to study interconnections of students’ morphological functional indicators and their influence on level of sportsmanship. Material: in the research 17 students, practicing martial arts, participated. 62 indicators were determined: anthropometrical, goniometrical criteria of arms joints’ status; tapping test and maximal frequency of grabs in impulse mode. Results: we found that maximal contribution in system is made by hand dynamometry of right and left hands, body length and mass, chest circumference, width of shoulders; maximal frequency of grabs by right and left hands. It was confirmed that there are correlations between students’ morphological functional indicators. The highest contribution to formation of functional system is characteristic for anthropometric indicators. Results of maximal grabs in impulse mode made rather sufficient contribution in system’s formation that is confirmed by great quantity of correlations. Analysis of character, strength and orientation of correlations witnesses about informative potential of this test and permits to recommend it as screening for control of sportsmen’s state. Conclusions: we determined that indicators of hand dynamometry system formation illustrate that for martial arts wrestlers strong grab was very important. It is ensured by strength of hand muscles., Мета : вивчення взаємозв'язків морфофункціональних показників у студентів та їх вплив на рівень спортивної майстерності. Матеріал : в дослідженні брало участь 17 студентів, що займаються єдиноборствами. Підтверджено наявність кореляційних залежностей між морфофункціональними показниками студентів. Найбільшим внеском у формування функціональної системи характеризуються антропометричні показники. Результати максимального хвата в імпульсному режимі мали достатній внесок у системостворення, що підтверджується наявністю великої кількості кореляцій. Аналіз характеру, сили і спрямованості зав’язків свідчить про інформативність цього тесту і дозволяє рекомендувати його в якості скринінгу при контролі стану спортсменів. Висновки : Встановлені показники системостворення кистьової динамометрії ілюструють, що для спортсменів важлива здатність до сильного хвату. Вона забезпечується силою м’язів кисті. Причому провідна рука характеризується значно більшим внеском.

Purpose: researching and analysis of psychological status dynamic of different qualification arm-wrestlers in competitions’ condition. Material: in the research 21 students-sportsmen of 17-24 years’ age participated. Results: before the beginning of competition experienced sportsmen are characterized by higher workability in comparison with beginners - (56.61±8.31) % against (23.23±11.93) %. After competitions among experienced sportsmen 57.14% had reduced anxiety; 71.43% - reduced activity and self-feeling; 50% - had worse mood. After competitions among sportsmen-beginners 73.73% demonstrated reduction of workability; 54.54% had weakened activity, mood and self-feeling. We established significant prevalence of statistically confident correlations among experienced sportsmen: 65.15% against 46.97%. Contribution of psychological components in system of sportsmen-beginners is significantly lower than of experienced sportsmen. Conclusions: we determined certain changes of psychological status of arm-wrestlers of different qualification under influence of competitions. For experienced sportsmen we confirmed more optimal status and favorable dynamic, illustrating high reliability of functioning., Цель : исследование и анализ динамики психологического статуса спортсменов армспорта разного уровня мастерства под влиянием соревнований. Выводы : установлены определенные изменения психологического статуса спортсменов армспорта разного уровня мастерства под влиянием соревнований. У досвідчених спортсменів після змагань 57,14% мали зниження тривожності; 71,43% - зменшення активності і самопочуття; 50% - настрою . У спортсменів-початківців після змагань зменшення працездатності встановлено у 73,73% учасників; 54,54% мали зниження активності, настрою і самопочуття. Встановлено істотне переважання значущих кореляцій у досвідчених спортсменів: 65,15% проти 46,97%. Внесок психологічних компонентів в систему у спортсменів-початківців істотно нижче, ніж у досвідчених. Висновки : встановлено певні зміни психологічного статусу спортсменів армспорту різного рівня майстерності під впливом змагань. У досвідчених спортсменів підтверджено більш оптимальний стан, сприятлива динаміка, що ілюструє високий рівень надійності функціонування.

Purpose: analysis of school age children’s eating behavior. Materials: in questioning 408 schoolchildren (15-16 and 17-18 years’ age) participated. Distribution by sex was practically equal: 56.62% were girls and 43.38% - boys. The questionnaire included questions about frequency of eating some food during recent 30 days. Separate block of questions was devoted to eating habits and presence of the so-called “food trash” in diet. The bent to alimentary diseases was assessed by incidence of excessive body mass in respondents’ families. Results: The determined food consumption permitted to assume the presence of certain eating stereotype: for boys it is directed at development o muscular mass and for girls - mainly of limiting character, connected with diets for correction of constitution. Analysis of some food eating frequency permitted to mark out alimentary risk factors, which require correction and prophylaxis. Conclusions: the found special aspects of eating behavior permit to assess children’s health state as pre-nosology of alimentary genesis, manifested in excessive body mass, deficit of essential vitamins, minerals and food fibers; functional disorders of digestion.

Analysis and assessment of athletes’ adaptation potential are important components of effective selection and prediction of sports successfulness. Purpose: study and analysis of kick boxers’ cardio-vascular system’s adaptation potentials under standard physical load and in recreation. Material: in the research kick boxers (n=17, students) participated. The athletes were divided into 2 groups, depending on reaction to physical load: 1st group - athletes with normotonic type of reaction (n=9, age 17.56±0.80 years); 2nd group - athletes with reaction different from normotonic (n=8, age18.25±0.88 years). Indicators of cardio-vascular reaction type and tolerance to physical load were found with the help of PWC170 test. Results: we confirmed similarity of kick boxers’ reaction to physical load. After 1st stage of physical load heart beats rate was noticeably lower in the 1st group. After 2nd stage of load systolic blood pressure was lower in the 1st group. After load, in the 1st group heart beats rate and systolic BP restored quicker. Reduction of heart beats rate under load in 1st group can serve as a proof of better adaptation mechanisms. Conclusions: training of athletes with periodic control of electric cardiogram under physical loads permits to assess functional state of cardio-vascular system; its adaptation and correspondence to definite physical loads. Such approach permits not to admit progressing of cardio-vascular system’s pathological state.

Purpose: to work out methodic of arm wrestling successfulness prognostication by morphological functional indicators and substantiate it. Material: 189 sportsmen (of age 21.62 +- 0.85 years) were tested. We fulfilled goniometric testing of arms’ joints (n=27) and hand dynamometry (n=50). Characteristics of physiological tremor were studied (n=29). Strength of forearm’s muscles was determined (n=33) as well as the strength of hand fingers’ extensors separately (n=50). Prognostication was realized with the help of sequential procedure by Wald’s methodic, with calculation of prognostic coefficients and their informative potential. Results: prognostic table, containing functional state indicators of arm-wrestlers. It contained 18 criteria. The criteria illustrate power, goniometric and functional indicators. Informative potential varied within 64.70 - 6.33. The sense of prognosis is assessment of results and determination of appropriate prognostic coefficient. Besides, prognosis implies summing up of these coefficients for achievement of one of prognostic thresholds. The value of these thresholds was determined at level of +- 13, that corresponds to 95% probability. Achievement of threshold + 13 and more means sportsman’s successfulness higher level. In case of lower threshold achievement successfulness probability is low. Conclusions: the conducted researches permitted to work out methodic of arm wrestling successfulness prognostication by morphological functional indicators and substantiate it. The offered methodic is based on sequential analysis by Wald and is a simple, informative and objective tool of arm-wrestlers’ condition control.
