The success and the efficiency of e-Learning should be measured by a reliable method in order to use it effectively. Although, there are several studies about the success of e-Learning systems, only a few of them deal with the measurement of this success within the institutions. We made a questionnaire to evaluate the e-Learning application. The aim was to develop such questionnaire which is suitable to evaluate e-Learning quality. The basis of the e-Learning quality questions was a multi-dimensional model for assessing e-learning systems success (ELSS). The aim of the questionnaire were to compare the opinions of the students and the teachers and also to evaluate the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of the University of Debrecen and the Corvinus University of Budapest (CUB) regarding the application of e-Learning. The role of the questionnaire for quality development is to give guidance for the FEB in implementing and using e-Learning. E-Learning in the CUB is applied under certain organized institutional circumstances. The e-Learning application of CUB works with an organization defined extended several faculties of the University, which can be a good example for FEB. We have used factor analysis and binominal logistic regression. We have examined whether the background variables manipulating the variables are possible to be developed on the basis of the answers. We used factor analysis to demonstrate this since it contracts the coherent factors into one common factor. Finally we used logistic regression to determine the importance of a given factor for the users of both faculties.

Diabetic foot ulceration is one of the most common complications in patients treated for diabetes mellitus. The presented pilot study describes the successful treatment of diabetic ulceration of the heel with ongoing osteomyelitis in a 39-year-old patient after using a combination of modified chitosan-based biomaterial in combination with autologous mesenchymal stem cells isolated from bone marrow and dermal fibroblasts. The isolated population of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells fulfilled all of the attributes given by the International Society for Stem Cell Research, such as fibroblast-like morphology, the high expression of positive surface markers (CD29: 99.1 ± 0.4%; CD44: 99.8 ± 0.2% and CD90: 98.0 ± 0.6%) and the ability to undergo multilineage differentiation. Likewise, the population of dermal fibroblasts showed high positivity for the widely accepted markers collagen I, collagen III and vimentin, which was confirmed by immunocytochemical staining. Moreover, we were able to describe newly formed blood vessels shown by angio CT and almost complete closure of the skin defect after 8 months of the treatment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Inactivation of the p53 tumor suppressor pathway allows cell survival in times of stress and occurs in many human cancers; however, normal embryonic stem cells and some cancers such as neuroblastoma maintain wild-type human TP53 and mouse Trp53 (referred to collectively as p53 herein). Here we describe a miRNA, miR-380-5p, that represses p53 expression via a conserved sequence in the p53 3' untranslated region (UTR). miR-380-5p is highly expressed in mouse embryonic stem cells and neuroblastomas, and high expression correlates with poor outcome in neuroblastomas with neuroblastoma derived v-myc myelocytomatosis viral-related oncogene (MYCN) amplification. miR-380 overexpression cooperates with activated HRAS oncoprotein to transform primary cells, block oncogene-induced senescence and form tumors in mice. Conversely, inhibition of endogenous miR-380-5p in embryonic stem or neuroblastoma cells results in induction of p53, and extensive apoptotic cell death. In vivo delivery of a miR-380-5p antagonist decreases tumor size in an orthotopic mouse model of neuroblastoma. In recent years due to the impact of climate change, there was an increased awareness for the importance of changing our practices. That can be done by integrating the circular economy with environmental thinking and initiatives into the current systems, which in turn will have the role of decreasing the carbon footprint, measuring up the companies profit and also motivate the competitiveness. Despite the benefits of implementing the circular economy saving ideas to the systems, it's still not widely used. Therefore, in this study a bibliometric analysis is done on the circular economy's literature over the last two decades to understand the present level of research work in the field. This research is quantitatively evaluating the academic literature and defining research characteristics based on the number of published articles and their citation impact, also it's quantifying and assessing the scientific success of individuals and organizations in the field. It was found that European countries have contributed with a high number of publications in the area of the research. Based on the results, it is clear that the relevance of the circular economy has increased in recent years, and further study and research is still needed in this area. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The United Nations launched the Management of Social Transformations program (MOST) in 1993 to guide and support international research in the social sciences. It is the first such intergovernmental program, and its primary aims are the management of change in multi-cultural and -ethnic societies; studying accelerated social transformation in cities; and coping locally and regionally with global transformations. It offers administrative and other support as well as financial assistance to research meeting its criteria.

The international civil service (ICS) is becoming dysfunctional because it is operating within an outdated structure. Reforms are needed to allow greater flexibility so that the ICS can implement changes based on experience. The ICS was modeled on national civil services, but lacks their mechanisms for political control through ministerial supervision. The result is a 'democratic deficit' as well as an increase in psychological problems. Furthermore, the centralized structure of the ICS is inadequate to support field operations, and newly formed regional organizations are unable to benefit from the experience gained by the core ICS.
