Die Frage nach der Leistung von Erwerbslosen und ALG II-Bezieher*innen für die Gesellschaft ist im öffentlichen Diskurs ein wiederkehrendes Thema, in dem den Betroffenen oftmals ein Fehlen dieser Leistung attestiert wird. Der Beitrag nimmt die subjektiven Deutungen von ALG II-Bezieher*innen selbst zum Ausgangspunkt: Mit Hilfe von problemzentrierten Interviews werden unterschiedliche Deutungen von Leistung herausgearbeitet und entlang ihrer Position zur Erwerbsarbeit gegenübergestellt. Damit zeichnet sich erstens eine Leistungsdeutung ab, die Leistung mit Erwerbsarbeit gleichsetzt (Erwerbszentrierung). Dem gegenüber, zweitens, steht die Abweichung von der Erwerbszentrierung als nur partielle Erwerbszentrierung (neben der Care-Arbeit) oder Alternativen zu ihr (Ehrenamt und Alltagsbewältigung). The public discourse around unemployment and benefit recipients typically revolves around what they do for society. Often, a lack of performance in this sense is ascribed to benefit recipients. In contrast to such external ascriptions, this article takes the subjective interpretations of unemployment benefit recipients into account. By employing problem-centered interviews, different interpretations of performance are reconstructed and compared according to their position on gainful employment: First, an interpretation of performance emerges that is congruent with the benefit regulation's focus on employment, which equates performance with employment. A second and contrasting perspective deviates from the focus on gainful employment, as only a partial focus on gainful employment (in addition to care work), or alternatives to it (voluntary work and coping with everyday life). Der Leistungsbegriff und die damit zusammenhängenden Fragen nach der Art der Leistung und den leistungserbringenden Subjekten werden in kapitalistischen Gesellschaften zwar immer wieder neu, jedoch gleichbleibend erwerbsarbeitszentriert verhandelt. In unserem Artikel fokussieren wir hingegen Leistungserzählungen in Arbeitsformen jenseits der Erwerbsarbeit. Unter Einbezug von Gruppendiskussionen und biografischen Interviews aus zwei unterschiedlichen qualitativen Forschungsprojekten analysieren wir, wie Freiwillige und Haus- und Sorgearbeit leistende Frauen Leistung darstellen und konzeptionalisieren. Unser Ziel ist es, den arbeitssoziologischen Blick auch auf Formen und Darstellungen von Leistung jenseits der Erwerbsarbeit zu lenken und die Frage nach der gesellschaftlichen Konstruktion und Anerkennung von Leistung erneut zu diskutieren. In capitalist societies, the concept of work performance and the related questions of who performs and how which kind of performance is socially recognized, are constantly being renegotiated, but always centered on the context of paid employment. In our article, however, we focus on work performance narratives in forms of work beyond paid employment. Drawing on group discussions and biographical interviews from two different qualitative research projects, we analyse how volunteers and (formerly) employed care workers represent, act out and conceptualize their work-performance. Our aim is to direct the view of sociology of work towards forms and representations of performance beyond gainful employment and to pose again the question of social recognition of different kinds of work performance. The aim of this work was to evaluate selected influencing factors during the breeding of young Czech warmblood stallions in test farms on the results of the performance test. In six breeding farms for young horses (Měník, Písek, Skály, Suchá, Tlumačov and Železnice), 119 stallions were tested and 413 offspring were evaluated. During the performance test, the factors test farm, year of birth, father and parental descent were examined with regard to their influence on the characteristics of cannon bone circumference, conformation values, movement mechanics, jumping ability and overall evaluation. The data were collected from the Morgan ČT program and then analyzed using the GLM (Generalized Linear Model) analysis of variance method. The rearing operation, the year of the performance test, the test person's father and the ancestry of the parents had a significant influence. The influence of breeding on the overall evaluation, the exterior and the movement mechanics could be proven. The year of the test was proven to have an influence on chest circumference. The Tlumačov breeding farm was the best-rated testing station for young horses. The results confirmed the hypothesis that the farm influences the test results of young Czech Warmblood horses. „Die Konzentration der Versorgung auf Kliniken mit hohen Fallzahlen ist eine gute Nachricht für die Überlebenschancen von sehr kleinen Frühgeborenen. Denn die wissenschaftlichen Studien zeigen deutlich, dass bei einer höheren Fallzahl die Komplikationsraten und das Sterberisiko der behandelten Kinder geringer sind“, betont Jens Martin Hoyer, stellvertretender Vorstandsvorsitzender des AOK-Bundesverbandes. „Die Entscheidung des Gemeinsamen Bundesausschusses zur Anhebung der Mindestmengen zeigt jetzt Wirkung – und das ist im Sinne der Patientensicherheit absolut sinnvoll.“ Allerdings sei es möglich, dass einzelne Geburtsstationen trotz Unterschreitens der Mindestmenge noch eine Berechtigung zur Versorgung durch die zuständige Landesbehörde erhielten. „Diese Standorte werden dann in der Karte der AOK ergänzt, allerdings mit einer besonderen farblichen Kennzeichnung und mit Angabe der zuletzt erreichten Fallzahlen“, so Hoyer.

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of breeder age (BA) and dietary methionine level (ML) on growth performance, carcass traits, meat quality, and meat sensory characteristics of broilers. A total of 864 oneday-old Ross 308 broilers of both sexes were divided into a 2 (BA) × 3 (ML) completely randomised design with four replicates per treatment. The chicks were obtained from two different broiler breeder flocks, a young (YB, 28 weeks of age) respectively an old flock (OB, 58 weeks of age). Diets were formulated to provide low (80%, LM), adequate (100%, AM), and high (120%, HM) ML from 1 to 42 days of age. YB chicks exhibited superior growth performance between 0 to 21 days despite a lower hatching weight, and reached a similar performance to OB by the end of the rearing period. The OB broilers showed a higher carcass yield, abdominal fat ratio, and lower breast meat pHu value compared to the YB. The LM diet resulted in the lowest performance and carcass yield. The pHu value of breast meat was higher in the AM diet. ML showed an adverse effect on the lightness (L*) value of breast meat. There was a significant negative interaction between BA and ML on L* of breast meat. The BA and ML did not affect the sensory evaluations of the meat. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
