With the application development environment rapidly changing, the design of an interface that supports the complex interactions between humans and computers is required. In addition, profound knowledge of various fields is required to cover the requirements of different customers. Therefore, in this paper, we suggest an interface design technique that considers the cohesion-rate in each objects of user interface. To accomplish this, specific and detailed models to embody the user interface are presented on the basis of the following classification: 1) event object model, 2) task object model, 3) transaction object model, 4) form object model. If this detailed modeling work is performed, the visual cohesion of the prototype user interface can be improved and, on this basis, even unskilled designers can construct an improved user interface. In this paper, the business process was easily modeled by distin-guishing between the business process and work logic. Based on this model, B2Bi collaboration Workflow modeling tool, which facilitates collaboration, was designed and implemented. The collaboration workflow modeling tool consists of 3 components; business process modeling tool, execution engine and monitoring tool. First, a business process modeling tool is used to build a process map that reflects the business logic of an application in a quick and accurate manner. Second, an execution engine provides a real-time execution environment for business process instance. Third, a monitoring tool provides a real-time monitoring function for the business process that is in operation at the time. In addition to this, it supports flexibility and expandability based on XML and J2EE for the linkage with the legacy system that was used previously, and suggests a solution for a new corporate strategy and operation. This paper suggests a technique, OSET(An Object Structure Extraction Technique for Object Reusability Improvement Based on Legacy System Interface) for reuse and reengineering by analyzing the Legacy System interface to distill the meaningful information from them and disassemble them into object units which are to be integrated into the next generation of systems. The OSET method consists of a procedure with 4 steps: 1) the interface use case analysis step, 2) the interface object dividing step, 3) the object structure modeling step, and 4) the object model integration step. In step 1, the interface structure and information about the interaction between the user and the Legacy System are obtained. In step 2, the interface information is divided into semantic fields. In step 3, the structural and collaborative relationship is studied and modeled among interface objects.
