- Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has left a mark on education as it had been known before. Beyond his, attention needs to be paid to the transition back to face-to-face learning and its implications. Within this context of change, the present research focuses on identifying the students' preferred aspects of online education during the pandemic, namely learning, teaching, assessment, and interaction with peers and teachers, in order to improve face-to-face education by contextually adapting it to their needs. A survey was used on a representative sample of students from Politehnica University of Timisoara, Romania, who were required to indicate their preferred form of education and the most beneficial one for their professional development. The results indicate the targeted students' several preferences, such as teachers' support with electronic educational resources, the use of online educational platforms to access resources and take tests, the easier and individualized communication with teachers, as well as peer connectivity in common projects. These findings identify practical suggestions that lead to a balance between face-to-face and digital education, probably under the form of blended learning, which could be considered by the main stakeholders in order to have a future sustainable education. An alternative electromagnetic field meter which consisted of 1) a probe made of an iron core, which is wrapped around by copper wire that is a function of receiving AC magnetic field signals, and 2) a display box having the function of taking signals from the probe to process with Node MCU and displaying the measuring results on a digital LED screen in a millitesla unit. The percentage error of measured results using the invented magnetometer are compared with ones obtained with the standard tesla meter. The efficiency of the magnetic field meter is considered for physics teaching management specialists. The results of study showed that the simple AC magnetic field meter invented here can measure and display the AC electromagnetic field from the coil. The results were close to those obtained from the standard meter. We found that the percentage error is not more than 6 % of the measured magnetic field in the range of 2.3-5.1 mT and in the frequency of 50 Hz, and that the level of quality of the invented meter is very good. Reconciliating the logics of Post-method Era, Critical Pedagogy, and Sociocultural Theory in its conceptual framework, this study postulated Iranian EFL teachers’ socio-pedagogical identity as comprising conformity, criticality, and conformity-criticality mediation in order to explore and model the different aspects of Iranian EFL teachers’ “transformative teaching self,” probably contributing to their pedagogical ZPD and sociocultural identity development. To this end, Systematic Reflexive Constructivist Grounded Theory was utilized as the methodology of this 63-participant study managing both the data collection procedures, i.e. interview, focus group, observation, field notes, and document analysis, and the data analysis procedures, i.e. tabulation, open coding, initial memoing, axial coding, intermediate memoing, selective coding, advanced memoing, and theoretical sampling. The findings of the study were put into a putative model, delineating Iranian EFL teachers’ transformative teaching self at its core, which can constantly stimulate the teachers’ three interactive triplex identity types, i.e. conformative, critical, and mediational identities. Finally, this study entailed some implications such as updating teachers’ knowledge of mediational identity, professional retraining about mediation, encouraging teachers to achieve an understanding of their transformative teaching self, and preparing them to be efficient transformative teaching learners and practitioners of the model in this study.

The present project on learning surface anatomy through the body painting method was undertaken because anatomical knowledge supports medical practice. The appropriate anatomical training of the doctor depends on surface anatomy. We considered the renovation of teaching strategies and didactic resources to optimize the overall teaching-learning process. 189 first-year medical students, enrolled in the Trunk and Splanchnology course at the University of Cádiz (Spain) participated in this study. Students were divided into 5 groups each of 38-41 students. The students were asked to complete a satisfaction questionnaire supplied to each participant through an on-line platform. On the basis of the results, we recommend the body painting method as an alternative tool for learning surface and clinical anatomy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The volume intends to offer a contribution to language teaching research starting from the issues related to the teaching / learning of foreign languages at school. From an examination of the cultural and regulatory context of reference, from the need to find a correspondence between the linguistic objectives defined by national policies and the European recommendations in the field of language education, from the definition of the concept of 'linguistic competence' as outlined by the CEFR, an operational proposal is articulated focused on the methodology of Flipped teaching aimed at promoting the use and transmission of the LS, through precise lines of language teaching planning. All the work phases, necessary for the structuring of an educational path that can facilitate the teacher to manage interactive language lessons, which can be practiced effectively, through the use of ICT. are detailed. The volume is therefore configured as a theoretical and operational reflection on the need / opportunity to see the language class, more than any other, as a learning environment suitable for teaching mediated by technologies and with the intention of looking at the methodology of Flipped Teaching as a possible response to requests for renewal and strengthening of the language teaching / learning process of Foreign Languages based on the development of communicative competence.

Reform processes in education have brought up a number of new things in terms of teaching modernization, especially its rationalization and efficiency. Since the teaching is always the current problem, as such also represents a topical issue: how to educate and train staff in the highest level of efficiency and rationalization in order for them to carry out the tasks effectively. Here we were interested in efficiency of two different (both analytical and complex) methods of Internal Affairs College student training out of Special Physical Education program. The research was organized based on sample of 59 male and female respondents (46 male and 13 female respondents), where, based on dexterity achievement results were formed two mixed homogeneous and even groups. The education was happening according to provided teaching plan and program and lasted for 26 hours. After testing conducted with application of appropriate statistic procedure the results were given, based on which it is possible to determine that the complex training method is, concerning adopting relatively compound dexterity programs, more efficient than the analytical method. Não recebi financiamento Distance Education (DE) is a type of education that enables the democratization of access to knowledge, the expansion of job opportunities and learning throughout life, as this is independent of the distance between student and educational institution. Their emergence and expansion were only possible due to the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) most recent. This whole process has given rise to new demands for teacher training and specific knowledge to act in this type of education. In other words, the Virtual Education, teaching setting itself differs from the traditional teaching / classroom. As we consider the peculiarities of distance education, are concerned to understand how it develops the learning of teaching the practice of virtual tutoring. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze how it develops the learning of teaching the practice of virtual tutoring. For this, the following five to have specific objectives: Identify and describe the virtual teaching setting present in the pedagogical model of distance education of higher education institutions; Describe and characterize the formation of virtual teachers; Identify and analyze the knowledge necessary to virtual tutor and the knowledge acquired throughout their educational experience in distance education and, where appropriate, in classroom teaching; Analyze possible challenges and strategies linked to the institutional training proposal for the development of virtual teaching and learning point the perception of virtual tutors on trends and perspectives of teaching in higher education. The methodology was qualitative and quantitative nature and instruments for data collection were document analysis, the online questionnaire and interviews. The sample used in the study corresponded to a total of 461 virtual tutors of undergraduate courses four Higher Education Institutions (HEI) partners in the program Open University of Brazil (UAB). The main results found that the virtual teaching learning has particularities, but also similarities in relation to teaching knowledge, difficulties and facilities, as well as challenges and strategies of classroom education. The focus of this study was to engage with issues relating to the learning of teaching and professional development process, since large studies of this theme will contribute to understand the teacher training process in distance education.

In the current context of the Teacher Education s universe, we have found that many studies have been concerned with investigating the quality in Kindergarten s teacher training. As a result of this context, I am concerned to find out if the paths followed in the development of the discipline that I teach in pedagogy course in a private institution in the city of São Paulo have helped students in their initial training for teaching in kindergarten. This dissertation aims to analyze the contribution of obligatory Curricular Internship in preschool and the discipline that goes with the internship in the third semester of the course. To answer this question, the students of the discipline were consulted. This option was important for allowing the voice of the students who were in the field of work and observation in the internships and their reflections about this experience, accordingly with the theory studied in the discipline, which could contribute to the reshaping of educational processes made possible in both contexts: the internship and the discipline. Additionally, the da ta allowed me to reflect on my own teaching practice, opening new avenues for my formation and performance and, consequently, favoring the formation of future teachers. For the methodology I started from the theoretical reference on Learning Teaching, with contributions from Shulman apud Mizukami (2004), Gomes (2009) and Nóvoa (2007), in addition to data collection and interviews with students. The results indicate that the discipline and internship favor the reflection on teaching practice and point to an intervention by the teaching institution to provide the egress student a high quality initial formation.

Fundo Mackenzie de Pesquisa This essay examines the existing and the need of mathematics in the work of the contemporary architect as well as in their academic studies, whether as content (academic subject - formal knowledge of the fundamentals) or as a tool (instrument - use of informal knowledge). This is a qualitative study pointing out two aspects: the first refers to research on laws, regulations and scholars; and the other, the interview with architects who teach architects, leads us to the analysis of architect s studies and performance in both ends, verifying in each one how mathematics is present during the studies and performance of the architect. Concurrently, it is a survey about the learning of Mathematics in Brazil, which shows the low level of knowledge (formal and informal) of such science. The results indicate that, for the good performance of the contemporary architect, IT is required to know and use mathematics well and, even though students enroll in the course without the necessary neither the sufficient knowledge in Mathematics, that gap is not always hindering during their studies development.

To this end, we decided to work with qualitative research approach of socio-cultural end in which Vygotsky (2006, 2007, 1997), Bakhtin (1988, 2003), Freitas (1994, 2002), Connelly and Clandinin (1995) and Bolzan (2001, 2006, 2009) contributed to the process of analysis of the narratives of four literacy teachers of the Public Education State of Santa Maria. We understand the subject as the construction of historical and social interactions, based on Vygotskian and Bakhtinian conceptions of learning. Therefore we use as a tool for data collection, narrative interviews, guided by topical guides, we believe that this tool is favorable to understanding the senses and meanings of teaching in the context of deafness. From the analysis of narratives of literacy teachers, it was possible to identify three categories that indicate aspects of the teacher learning of literacy teachers of deaf learners: the incipient nature of teaching in the context of deafness, the production of teaching in the context of deafness and the consolidation of teaching in the context of deafness. In the path taken during the research, we also identified that the categories explored are linked to pedagogical action which is constituted in the awareness of the requirements of the field of knowledge, the narratives show that as in the teachers were lecturing in the context of deafness, they developed as teachers, changing ways of doing from knowledge built through the practice established in collaboration between the individuals involved in the process. It was possible to understand that the categories are consolidated in the texture of the professorial design with different brands that permeate the mode of action of the teachers, source of reflection and understanding of the demands of teaching in the context of deafness. In this sense, we understand that learning teaching in this specific point takes place in the dialogical context, requires knowledge and action that are different, because of the specifics related to cultural context. We understand that solidarity in teaching is a mark that cuts across the three categories presented, the constituent element of the learning field of knowledge. Deaf teachers and hearing individuals are estimulated each other, constituting the shared pedagogical knowledge as a favorable element to teaching learning process in the context of deafness.
