Abstract

This research delves into the factors influencing the adoption of e-wallets among users in Vietnam through quantitative analysis utilizing SmartPLS software. Although one hypothesis received only partial support, the remaining three out of four hypotheses were fully supported. The research focuses on individuals utilizing e-wallets in Vietnam, providing novel insights into factors shaping usage behavior. The findings contribute to our understanding of e-wallet adoption dynamics and offer empirical evidence for model consistency across different consumer groups. Moreover, the study clarifies the impacts on the behavior of current e-wallet users and provides valuable insights for potential adopters, addressing their concerns and usage purposes comprehensively. Additionally, it emphasizes the importance for businesses to understand consumer needs and concerns, facilitating a clear understanding for users as they navigate e-wallet usage. Overall, the research aims to foster development and ensure safety in the digital transformation era, benefiting users and businesses in Vietnam and globally.

Abstract

Grounded in social information processing and social exchange theories, this study explores the effect of team power distance orientation on the indirect relationship between ethical leadership and affective commitment through workplace bullying. Based on a sample of 289 public servants nested in 59 teams in Vietnam, the affective commitment of public servants is positively related to ethical leadership while having a negative association with workplace bullying. We found evidence for the moderation effect of high team power-distance orientation. The findings highlight the importance of contextual values in understanding how ethical leadership mitigates the adverse impacts of workplace bullying. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Social media is one of the most popular means of communication in the modern world that has diffused rapidly in diverse directions. The incorporation of social media into organization which is called “Enterprise Social Media” (ESM) has impacted the traditional channels of communication as well as the habits and actions of employees. However, the use of social media for internal communication is not yet recognized adequately, its adoptions for organizational communication need further studies and researches for broader perception. Taking this into account, this paper will find whether deploying ESM can positively improve internal communication. Abstract

This paper presents an electronic tongue system with blind source separation (BSS) and wireless sensor network (WSN) for remote multi-ion sensing applications. Electrochemical sensors, such as ion-sensitive field-effect transistor (ISFET) and extended-gate field-effect transistor (EGFET), only provide the combined concentrations of all ions in aqueous solutions. Mixed hydrogen and sodium ions in chemical solutions are observed by means of H + ISFET and H + EGFET sensor array. The BSS extracts the concentration of individual ions using independent component analysis (ICA). The parameters of ISFET and EGFET sensors serve as a priori knowledge that helps solve the BSS problem. Using wireless transceivers, the ISFET/EGFET modules are realized as wireless sensor nodes. The integration of WSN technology into our electronic tongue system with BSS capability makes distant multi-ion measurement viable for environment and water quality monitoring.
