This study was conducted from December 2015 to November 2016 at 44 sampling sites in the Hau River Basin at Hau Giang Province. The analysis results recorded 125 fish species belonging to 19 Orders and 46 families. The fish species composition was more diverse in wet season (119 species) than that in dry season (101 species). Of 19 orders, Cypriniformes, Siluriformes, Anabatiformes, Perciformes and Gobiformes had the highest number of species recorded during wet and dry seasons. The fish species composition had higher diversity in the ecological region regulated by east sea tide than the ecological region regulated by west sea tide and the contiguous ecological region. A finite element (FE) model based on the First-Order Shear Deformation Theory (FSDT) is developed for the static flexural shape and vibration control of a glass fibre/polyester composite plate bonded with piezoelectric actuator and sensor patches. The piezoelectric’s mass and stiffness are taken into account in the present model. A simple negative velocity feedback control algorithm coupling direct and converse piezoelectric effects are used to actively control the transient response of an integrated structure through a closed control loop. The numerical results are presented with discussion and in good agreement with actual experiments.

The Newmark-\(\beta\) method is used in the numerical simulation to calculate the dynamic response of the piezolaminated composite plate. The numerical results are presented with discussion and in good agreement with carried out experiments.

A Finite Element model based on First-order Shear Deformation Theory is developed for the static shape control and vibration control of la minated composite plates integrated with piezoelectric sensors and actuators. A nine-node isoparametric rectangular element with 45 degrees of freedom for the generalized displacements and 2 electrical degrees of freedom is implemented for the static and dynamic analyses. The model is validated by comparing with existing results documented in the literature. Some numerical results are presented. It is concluded that the shape of the piezoelectric laminated composite plates can reach the desired shape through passive control or active control. The influence of stacking sequence of composite plates and position of piezoelectric layers and sensors/actuators patches on the response of the piezoelectric composite plates is evaluated.

This paper deals with buckling of analysis multilaminated cylindrical shell panels subjected to axial and hygrothermal loadings. The geometrical non-linear analysis is carried out using the Finite Element Method based on a single layer first shear deformation theory. A nine-nodal isoparametric element with 5 degrees of freedom per node is considered. The effects of different number of layers, lamination angles, length to width ratios and hygrothermal effects are studied.
