The work purpose is the complex estimation of endogenous intoxication (change of optical density of plasma and erythrocytes), depressions of tissue hypoxia and functions of protective system, clinical and laboratory stratification of the risks-factors promoting progressing of disease and complication of pneumonia. There was carried cross-section study. The study included 36 patients from 1 to 7 years with an acute respiratory infection. The control group was made up of 19 healthy children. The comparative analysis of results of the specified factors and laboratory research set as the purpose to reveal the predictable negative risk factors. Evaluation of the quantitative findings of risks-factors was carried out in 95 % taking into account the confidence interval (CI). For the acute respiratory infection complicated with pneumonia, was determined strongly marked toxemia, and also high activity of antioxidant systems (SOD and catalase) and lysosomal enzymes (catepsin, RNA) was noted. The prognosis of the authentic risks-factors of acute respiratory disease was defined with following indicators: age of the child - before three years; hereditary background with a respiratory system pathology; the tobacco use in a family; low level of knowledge of parents; incomplete treatment; change of optical density of plasma and erythrocytes; fall (reduction) of redox-potential of the system of energy maintenance. We developed predictable model on probability of expected complications of respiratory system and groups of low, average and high risk were allocated.

Purpose of the work was to investigate clinical-allergic peculiarities of allergic rhinitis, together with bronchial asthma in school-age children. There were studied random representative group of children, in total 3000 subjects from 6 to 17. According to the results of epidemiological research in school-age children's population, prevalence of allergic rhinitis was 13,2%. In 19,1% of cases, allergic rhinitis was accompanied with bronchial asthma and in 8% of the patients there was indicated bronchial spasm of physical load (verified as clinically, also through the test with physical load), coughing version of asthma was observed in 4,5% of children. Thus, in children with allergic rhinitis, within the structure of clinical versions (by the criteria of severity) of rare bronchial asthma prevailed (69,8%, among which 65% - intermitting form and 4,8% - persisting form), without statistically significant difference between the boys and girls. Combination of inherited predisposition to allergy with the atopic dermatitis, in the in the anamnesis of children with the increased level of general IgE in the blood serum may be considered as early diagnostic predictor of atopic phenotype as for the allergic rhinitis, also for its combination with the bronchial asthma.

Case representative selective study of children from 1 to 15 years old age in Batumi, with 2110 children population has been carried out. Risk factors were studied by interviewing method, using two step estimation (on the basis of primary and secondary questionnaire) of the disease developing risk. For statistical analysis of the data SPSS v. 12 was used. Study findings confirm causal connection (with high relative risk) and significant probability of the disease (with high attributive risk), with "major risk factors": allergic diseases and atopic dermatitis in relatives and with "minor risk factors": allergic rhinitis. Relatively weak risk factors (with low relative risk), but with high prevalence in child population in Batumi were found: respiratory infections and bottle-feeding. Revealing individual and population risk phenomenology of bronchial asthma in children population in Batumi, on the basis of that the most of risk factors can be monitored, will promote asthma prevention and population health care, which is more rational and cost-effective.

Experimental investigations on guinea-pigs were carried out to study the role of tyrosine in the prevention of anaphylaxis. It should be noted that the intensity of clinical manifestations of anaphylactic shock was reduced in 5 out of 24 L-tyrosine fed guinea-pigs (20.83%), while in 9 animals (37.5%) anaphylactic shock did not develop. 100% death of control animals was registered. The effect of tyrosine was absent only in 10 guinea-pigs. Positive effect of tyrosine was followed by tyrosine-aminotransferase activation with a tendency towards the decrease in tyrosine plasma level and the rise in cortisol blood level. It is suggested that tyrosine increases glucocorticoid secretion of the adrenal cortex: Glucocorticoids in their turn, enhance tyrosine-aminotransferase activity in the animal liver.
