The article analyzes the role of indigenous spirituality in the field of social work. As stated, the role of Aboriginal spirituality in Aboriginal social work is not clear as social workers and the people with whom they interact, can interpret indigenous spirituality differently, and each social work educators teaching indigenous spirituality will have a unique approach. As stated, it is necessary to separate indigenous spirituality with social work as the latter is a professional practice.
