Background: This is an integrative review of scientific articles, published from 2000 to 2018, that address strategies for breastfeeding through telehealth. Telehealth is the safe and low cost use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in health care. The objective is to identify the scientific production on the subject of telehealth as a support strategy for breastfeeding. Methods: A qualitative research study was carried out with emphasis on the integrative review of the Embase, Bireme, and PubMed databases, in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. The descriptors used were "breastfeeding" and "telemedicine." Results: Twenty-three articles were identified and categorized as (1) synchronous support for telephone calls and/or videoconference; (2) asynchronous support for audio and text messaging, interactive websites, and mobile application; and (3) systematic review and meta-analysis. Experiences demonstrated viability to implementation, impact on exclusive breastfeeding time, and maintenance of breastfeeding, as well as positive user satisfaction. Conclusion: Viable telehealth strategies exist to support breastfeeding. With the existence of telehealth hubs, structured more than 10 years in Brazil, there seems to be potential in the development of projects in the area. There is room for innovation and for the expansion of telehealth services already offered.

The Brazilian National Health System (NHS) has incorporated telehealth to improve the quality of care in recent decades. Among the actions taken, teleconsultations have been offered to support diagnosis and decision-making for health professionals.This cross-sectional study aimed to summarize the preliminary experience of a telephone-first consultation for oral health issues available for dentists and physicians from primary health care (PHC).The study sample was 385 teleconsultations with oral health questions requested from all Brazil sent from May 2018 to July 2019, majority by dentists 83.2% (It was concluded that a telephone-first consultation may be useful to improve the resolvability and the quality of care in the PHC on oral health issues. The teledentistry allows the resolution of oral issues in PHC, avoiding the displacement of patients to more distant specialized centers. Teledentistry could be more useful in the actual coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic.

Tendo em vista que a utilização de práticas complementares na Enfermagem ainda é pouco discutida, esse trabalho objetivou investigar quem são atualmente os enfermeiros do Rio Grande do Sul, especializados em alguma terapia integrativa e quais são as utilizadas por eles em suas práticas profissionais e/ou pessoais. Estudo exploratório descritivo de caráter qualitativo realizado com cinco enfermeiros registrados no Conselho Regional de Enfermagem – COREN/RS e com algum envolvimento junto a Associação Brasileira de Terapias Naturais em Enfermagem – ABRATEN. A análise dos questionários, respondidos pelos sujeitos da pesquisa, demonstraram uma variedade de modalidades de práticas que são possibilidades de cuidados utilizados pela Enfermagem junto à equipe, aos pacientes e à comunidade. A falta de disciplinas que abordem essa área nos currículos dos cursos de Enfermagem e a divulgação dessas experiências positivas foram relatadas por esses profissionais que hoje se empenham no estudo das práticas complementares.
