Abstract

Due to the global need to build mass transit systems, especially of the electric type, and since there are not enough experiences or models to plan these systems, this paper describes the process to build a digital model of the Medellín Metro System using the program ATPDraw. The results obtained during the simulation of short circuits of 1500 VDC under different topologies of the system are shown.
