Objectives: Workplace productivity has always been affected by a high-stress level and lack of sports activities. This aspect requires the researchers' emphasis and the present research performs this role by examining the much neglected impact of sports activities, stress management, and work-life balance on workplace productivity of manufacturing firms in Vietnam. The study also investigated the mediating impact of stress management and work-life balance among sports activities and workplace productivity of manufacturing firms in Vietnam. Methods: The primary data was collected through survey questionnaires from the employees of manufacturing companies in Vietnam. The research also applied the PLS-SEM using Smart-PLS to check the reliability and association among variables. Results: The outcomes indicated that sports activities, stress management, and work-life balance have a positive linkage with the workplace productivity of manufacturing firms in Vietnam. The outcomes also revealed that stress management and work-life balance significantly mediate among sports activities and workplace productivity of manufacturing firms in Vietnam. Conclusion: This research guides the policymakers in making policies related to workplace productivity improvement using sports activities, work-life balance, and stress management.

Dementia care scholarship focuses on care challenges and less on positive aspects of care, especially among culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) carers outside the United States. This article investigates positive aspects of dementia care across eight CALD groups in Australia.We analyzed interviews of 112 family carers using a four-domain framework covering: a sense of personal growth, feelings of mutuality, increases in family cohesion, and a sense of personal accomplishment.Positive associations with care are derived from past relationships, feelings of mutual obligation, valuing changed relationships and enjoying spending time with the person with dementia. Positive aspects of care were not associated with increased family cohesion except in Vietnamese and Arab families; neither was use of ethno-specific residential aged care, except for Greek and Italian families. Religion and spirituality as a coping and comforting mechanism was inconsistently expressed.The study reveals the multi-dimensional nature of care, what resonates, and diverges across CALD populations. Knowing which parts of the framework apply and which do not is useful for interventions seeking to enhance positive aspects of care.Migrant populations are varied and dynamic, and practitioners should be mindful of differences within and between ethnic minority groups.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to gain a more nuanced understanding of the relationship between a national product (coffee) and gastronomy. Moreover, incorporating the resource-based view of the firm framework, the importance of coffee is examined, as is the extent and potential to “marry” coffee and gastronomy into a tourism activity, and the need to develop such potential. Design/methodology/approach Semi-structured, face-to-face and online interviews were used to gather the viewpoints of 79 chefs and coffee shop owners/managers operating in Vietnam, the world’s second-largest coffee producer and home to a vibrant coffee shop industry. Findings The selected inductive analysis identified 11 dimensions, including “coffee infrastructure”, “coffee-based innovation”, “coffee-trigger” and “coffee resources”, emerged. These dimensions reveal a strong potential for a coffee and local gastronomy “marriage”. Furthermore, nine of the 11 dimensions provide direct guidance concerning the importance, the potential for “marriage”, coffee tourism development and what is needed to fulfil this potential. Practical implications The study affords understanding of Vietnam’s coffee industry, in particular its resources, and how these can be leveraged to combine with the nation’s gastronomy and produce more fulfilling food and beverage experiences. Originality/value Gastronomy, hospitality and tourism represent a well-defined partnership that can result in memorable consumer experiences. While the strength of this partnership is recognised, little is known about the potential to “marry” a national product such as coffee and local gastronomy. The study breaks new ground in this area and concludes with various theoretical and practical implications that contribute to more understanding of the coffee–gastronomy relationship.

As terrestrial snails are poorly studied and understood in Pu Mat National Park, a preliminary survey was conducted to establish their diversity. A total of 29 species and subspecies representing 11 families are documented, of which three species recorded for Central Vietnam (Microcystina vernacula, Plectotropis xydaea, and Trachia cordieri) and 12 species for Nghe An Province are herein published for the first time. Families Cyclophoridae (9 species, 31.03%), Camaenidae (6 species, 20.68%), Ariophantidae (4 species, 13.79%) were found to be the most diverse in the area. The annotated checklist of terrestrial snails from Pu Mat N.P. is presented for the first time, as a scientific basis for the conservation and sustainable development of terrestrial snails in Pu Mat N.P.

Objective: Evaluation the hypoglycemic effect of Gydenphy capsules on Streptozotocin-induced type 1 diabetic in Swiss mouse model. Methods: The type 1 diabetic model was established by intraperitoneal injections of Streptozocin 150mg/kg in Swiss mouse. Then, the Gydenphy were orally administered daily at a dose of 576 mg/kg/day or 1152 mg/kg/day in 10 days. Although Software-defined networking (SDN) is a promising architecture that simplifies network management and control, it also faces security problems that may affect the whole network. Hence, protecting strategies, such as intrusion detection and prevention system (IDPS), are in need in the SDN context. The potential of machine learning-based solutions can become the motivation of cut-edge deep learning-based intrusion detection system that can leverage the centralized control and view of the controller to secure the underlying infrastructure. However, performing additional IDPS functions in the controller, which needs to process enormous traffic amounts, can overload this component, and slow down the network. This paper introduces an approach of Big Data analysis for intrusion detection system in SDN, named BIDSDN to enhance the classification perfor-mance with a massive amount of network traffic data. Specifically, we leverage Apache Spark to deploy the distributed deep learning – based detector to reduce the processing time on complex algorithms. The experiments conducted on CICIDS2018 dataset with distributed cluster prove the efficacy in tackling the Big Data-related issues in the large-scale network like SDN.

Objectives Antibodies against anti-CD74 are related to axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA). The objectives were (i) to study IgA anti-CD74 in radiographic (r)-axSpA patients in the Backbone cohort and to calculate the sensitivity and specificity of anti-CD74, (ii) to study the fluctuation of IgA anti-CD74 levels in prospectively collected samples, and (iii) to explore the relation between IgA anti-CD74 and radiographic spinal changes. Methods IgA anti-CD74 was analysed by ELISA in 155 patients with r-axSpA and age- and sex-matched controls. BASDAI, ASDAS, BASFI and BASMI were assessed and spinal radiographs were scored for r-axSpA-related changes with mSASSS. Previously donated samples, before inclusion in the Backbone study, were identified in the Medical Biobank of Northern Sweden. Results A total of 155 patients comprising 69% men and 31% women, age [mean (s.d.)] 55.5 (11.4) years and 152 (98.1%) HLA-B27 positive, were included. The plasma level of IgA anti-CD74 was significantly higher in the patients [median (interquartile range), 12.9 (7.9–17.9) U/ml] compared with controls [10.9 (7.2–14.6) U/ml, P = 0.003]. IgA anti-CD74 was above the cut-off level of 20 U/ml in 36/155 (23.2%) patients and in 15/151 (9.9%) controls (P = 0.002). Multivariable logistic regression analyses revealed ≥1 syndesmophyte associated with IgA anti-CD74 (odds ratio 5.64; 95% CI: 1.02, 35.58; P = 0.048) adjusted for hsCRP, smoking, BMI, sex and age. No distinct pattern of IgA anti-CD74 over time was revealed. Conclusion Plasma levels of IgA anti-CD74 were increased in r-axSpA and independently associated with radiographic spinal changes, which suggests that IgA anti-CD74 could play a role in the pathogenies of r-axSpA.

Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is an autoimmune disease affecting parts of the skeletal structure in particular. Previously increased levels of the inflammatory cell types Th17, Th22, Tc17 and Tc22 cells have been shown to be associated with AS. Here, we analysed the levels of inflammatory T cell subsets, related cytokines and clinical characteristics of AS patients vs controls from northern Sweden. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) obtained from 50 AS patients and 50 matched controls were short term stimulated with PMA/Ionomycin, stained and analysed by flow cytometry. Plasma levels of Interleukin (IL)-17, IL-22, IL-10 as well as clinically relevant markers were determined. Compared to male controls, male AS patients showed 1.5- to 2-fold increases of Th17 (P = .013), Th22 (P = .003) and Tc22 (P = .024) among CD45+CD3+ lymphocytes. Plasma IL-22 levels correlated with the Tc17 proportion in male patients (Rs = 0.499, P = .003) and plasma IL-10 levels were inversely correlated with Tc17 among all patients (Rs = −0.276, P = .05). Male patients with syndesmophytes showed significantly higher Th17 proportions (P = .038). In female AS patients, Tc22 was negatively correlated with C-reactive protein (high sensitivity) (hsCRP) (Rs = −0.573, P = .016). We confirmed increased proportions of inflammatory T cells and correlations with relevant cytokines from male AS patients. The correlation between Th17 and syndesmophytes supports a role of Th17 in the pathogenic process.

A report is given on the genus Rhiostoma (Cyclophoridae) collected in Vietnam during recent fieldwork. Locality data, Vietnam distribution and general distribution are given for each species, including references to previously published records. Five named species are listed, of which a new species is described, Rhiostoma ningbien sp. nov., from Dien Bien, North-western Vietnam.
