The text classification method is one of the most frequently used approaches in text mining studies. Text classification requires a model generation using a predefined dataset, and this model aims to assign uncategorized data to a correct category. In line with this purpose, this study used machine learning algorithms, deep learning algorithms, word embedding algorithms, and transfer-learning algorithms to classify Turkish texts using three diverse datasets, one of which is new, to analyze text classification performances for the Turkish language. The preparation process of the newly added dataset involved the variations in Turkish word usage patterns over the years, since it consisted of timestamp-enabled data. The study also developed a novel method named LSRM to increase the text classification performance for agglutinative languages such as Turkish. After testing the new method on datasets, the statistical ANOVA method revealed that applying the proposed LSRM method increased the classification performance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Transverse linear switched reluctance motors (TLSRMs) are generally challenged by high-force ripples that contribute to a lower average propulsion force. This undermines the overall efficiency of the TLSRM in various industries. This paper presents structural modifications to improve the force performance of a TLSRM for transit applications. In this new design, a split-teeth stator design was proposed to virtually increase the number of stator teeth without increasing the number of translator teeth. The proposed TLSRM contains a movable translator with 16 poles for direct transmission with no gear mechanism. A hybrid TLSRM design method is presented, modifying the conventional design method to accommodate these structural modifications. A specific power output equation for the proposed motor was derived by correlating the force, power, and physical dimensions. The proposed motor was designed and analyzed using the FEM software to ensure the accuracy of the design.

A linear switched reluctance motor (LSRM) drive system is a complex and strongly coupled nonlinear system with time-varying parameters, friction and external disturbances. An intelligent position tracking control based on fruit fly optimization algorithm (FOA) was proposed in this study to effectively solve the effects of parameter uncertainty, load disturbance, thrust fluctuation, and friction on the performance of the LSRM system. A mathematical model of LSRM was constructed on the basis of its structure and characteristics, and spatial discretization was conducted. A single neuron adaptive controller was designed for the discretized LSRM, and its parameters were adjusted and optimized online using the FOA. The accuracy of the model was verified through experiments. Results show that the propose controller has high tracking (rotor position steady-state error is less than 10%) and strong anti-interference performance (restores to the desired rotor position instruction in 0.01 s). The proposed controller can better track the rotor position when the rotor position instruction changes, with smaller overshoot (less than 10%) and can control the PID up to 30% compared with proportional--integral--derivative (PID) controllers. This paper proposes a long-stroke linear switched reluctance machine (LSRM) with a primary and a secondary translator for industrial conveyance applications. The secondary one can translate according to the primary one so that linear compound motions can be achieved. Considering the fact that either one translator imposes a time-variant, nonlinear disturbance onto the other, the selftuning position controllers are implemented for the proposed linear compound machine and experimental results demonstrate that the absolute steady-state error values can fall into 0.03 mm and 0.05 mm for the secondary and primary translator, respectively. The constitution,working principle and size design method of double sides LSRM were introduced and size design result of a LSRM prototype was given.Distribution rule of LSRM's magnetic field was analyzed by use of finite element method and sectioned magnetic field was consulted,so as to get the maximum induction value,the minimum induction value and the number of windings. The testing result showed that the starting power of the LSRM prototype is large and it would not affected by direction of current.But there are some problems of pulse and noise in starting,which could be solved by use of optimization of structure design and control algorithm.

Inverse modeling technique based on nonlinear least square regression method (LSRM) is developed for the identification of aquatic source and transport parameters. Instantaneous line source release model in two-dimensional domain and continuous point source release model in three-dimensional domain are used for the purpose. Case studies have been carried out for both types of releases to illustrate their application. Error analysis has been carried out to identify the maximum error that can be tolerated in the input concentration data used in the inverse model and to specify the minimum number of sampling points to generate such input data. The LSRM is compared with the well-established correlation coefficient optimization method for instantaneous line source release model, and good comparison is observed between them. The LSRM is used to quantitatively estimate the releases of different radionuclides into the Pacific Ocean which has resulted due to the discharge of highly radioactive liquid effluent from the affected Daiichi Nuclear Power Station at Fukushima in Japan. The measured concentrations of these radionuclides in seawater samples collected from two sampling points near Fukushima are used for the estimation. The average release works out to be 1.09 × 10 for I, 3.4 × 10 Bq for Cs, and 3.57 × 10 Bq for Cs. In this study, a linear switched reluctance motor (LSRM) with 250 W, 6/4 poles, 3 phases, and 24 V was controlled with a programmable logic controller (PLC). Some parameters of the LSRM were set, and for PC monitoring, software developed by the authors was used. A serial port was used for communication between the PC and the PLC. The software was developed with Visual C#.Net 2008 for monitoring and controlling. This user interference allows for controlling of the motor's travelling distance with a running strategy. The first and second destination can be defined and the system provides that the motor operates between these points continuously. The phase and velocity currents of the motor were shown and curved with the software. The existing position of the motor and the number of pulses were determined and displayed with a linear incremental encoder. The windings of the motor phases were energized depending on their position using a classical bridge converter. This PLC-controlled LSRM study leads industrial practices and the educational sector to highlight the importance of linear motion, which is used in many implementations. An improved force distribution function (FDF) of linear switched reluctance motors (LSRMs) based on nonlinear inductance modeling for force ripple minimization and smooth speed operation is proposed. Nonlinear inductance profile is divided into three segments with a K factor that depicts current effect on inductance of the LSRM. Speed controller based on the proposed FDF and the nonlinear inductance model is constructed. An accurate estimation of flux linkage characteristics is very important during the preliminary design stage and high-performance control of linear switched reluctance motor (LSRM). In this paper, longitudinal and transversal end-effects of a double-side LSRM are studied using analytical method and finite element analysis (FEA). The estimation discrepancy introduced by both end-effects is presented respectively by investigating their sensitivities to machine parameters, such as excitation level, translator position, and stack length. Abstract: This paper presents the realization and design of a new linear switched reluctance motor (LSRM) structure. The new model has double sided configuration and provides high force for many applications with low cost. The characteristics of the LSRM are obtained by using finite element analysis (FEA) and analytical calculations. The results of the FEA and analytical calculations are presented, and compared with experimental results. A high correlation between experimental and analytical results is obtained, which has been demonstrated in the form of inductance versus position versus current. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
