The Ministry of Health (MoH) set the National Digital Health Strategy 2018-2024 as a state policy. It included a National TeleHealth Plan to enhance access and quality of healthcare in a wide territory like Argentina, leveraging more than 20 years of national telemedicine experiences and coordinating it with the territorial integrated health service networks proposed by the Universal Health Coverage strategy. In collaboration with the Ministry of Modernisation, the MoH developed and implemented a new TeleHealth Web Platform to perform eReferrals and eConsultations nationwide. This poster describes the first 2 months of usage.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) stated the National Digital Health Strategy 2018-2024 in order to establish the conceptual guidelines for the design and development of interoperable health information systems. It included the creation of a National Digital Health Network, and a Citizen Health Portal to inform and empower patients about their rights. For instance, the Digital Vaccination Card is already available and has equal legal validity as its paper version. The platform also works as a personal privacy manager, to configure the consent for Health Information Exchange through the network, or to check the access logs. This paper outlines the implementation experience of this powerful tool at a national level.

The objective of the present work was to use simulation studies to estimate the number of consumers necessary to obtain valid estimations from survival analysis calculations where each consumer evaluates a single sample. Based on previous studies a Weibull model was assumed for the lifetime distribution with a shape parameter σ between 0.17 and 0.71. Simulations were calculated supposing shelf-life values in the middle range of an adimensional time scale. Graphs to estimate N under different scenarios are presented. Considering the average σ , an alpha value (Type I error) of 5%, a beta value (Type II error) of 20%, the shelf-life to be in the middle of the studied time range and a difference between the true shelf-life and the estimated shelf-life of 0.5 on a 0–6 time scale, gave an N value of 300 consumers for this particular set of parameters. As 6 time values were considered this means 50 consumers for each one of the storage times. In the present study time was taken as the reference variable, however the same calculations and conclusions are valid for other variables of interest, such as concentration or temperature, that replace the time variable in survival analysis calculations.

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo demostrar la relación entre el trastorno bipolar y el deterioro cognitivo. Se comparó un grupo de 35 pacientes con diagnostico de trastorno bipolar según los criterios diagnósticos del DSM IV, versus un grupo control de personas mayores de 21 y menores de 60 años de edad que no presentaban antecedentes de tratamientos por psiquiatría. El instrumento que se aplicó en ambos grupos fue la ACE (Addenbrooke¨s cognitive examination) que evalúa seis dominios cognitivos como la orientación, atención, memoria, fluencia verbal, lenguaje y habilidades visuoespaciales., Facultad de Ciencias Médicas

Just-about-right (JAR) scales are often used in research and development of food products. One of their uses is determining the optimum level of an ingredient. The purpose of this work was to compare the use of a 3-point JAR scale analyzing the data using survival analysis statistics with a 9-point JAR scale followed by linear regression analysis. It was also of interest to determine if a concentration range effect exists when determining the optimum concentration using a 3-point JAR scale. Three different concentration ranges were used to determine the optimum level of sucrose in orange juices. The optimum concentrations obtained by both the 3-point and 9-point JAR scales were affected by concentration ranges. The optimum sucrose concentrations were 8.2% for the 9-point scale and 13.1% for the 3-point scale. A second experiment showed that 70% of the subjects preferred the 13.1% sample over the 8.2% sample. The 3-point JAR scale combined with interval censoring statistics provided a more reliable optimum concentration level than the 9-point JAR scale method. PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS The optimum concentration obtained using the 3-point Just-about-right (JAR) scale was more accurate then the value obtained from the 9-point JAR scale in the sense that it was closest to values in commercialized beverages and was preferred in a direct comparison. Thus the 3-point JAR scale followed by interval censoring statistics is a method to be pursued when measuring the optimum level of a food ingredient. This article also provides data confirming a concentration range effect when measuring the optimum concentration of a food ingredient. This range effect was present when using the 3-point JAR scale and the 9-point JAR scale. The use of multiple concentration ranges is a way to account for this effect.

No creo casual que sea La Plata la destinataria de este proyecto largamente gestado y elaborado. Los «hilos» fueron uniéndose desde Venezuela (1978) y Europa, en casi 25 años de mi obligada ausencia. Podríamos decir, sintetizando, que la idea del MACLA se concibió en Venezuela, se gestó en Europa y tomó cuerpo en La Plata, para convertirse en lo que es hoy este valiosísimo y exclusivo patrimonio de obras donadas por los artistas cofundadores, exhibiéndose en el magnífico espacio del Centro Cultural Pasaje Dardo Rocha. La idea de un museo contemporáneo exclusivamente latinoamericano, nació en Caracas (Venezuela, 1978). Fue en el Primer Encuentro de Artistas Plásticos y Críticos Iberoamericanos. Todos los expositores veíamos que el arte latinoamericano, en cierto modo, carecía de un auténtico museo, que nucleara y mostrara con idoneidad al mundo, la realidad de nuestro hacer, sin estar supeditado sólo a los designios del MOMA (Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de New York, EE.UU.) o a los de Europa (en especial la capital «regidora» del arte hasta hoy: París). Estos centros han sido y son los que disponen del juicio y valoración del arte latinoamericano: la fuerza de la economía, el poder de su política exterior, hacen que también en lo cultural, el resto del mundo esté supeditado a su beneplácito para determinar qué hacer o hacia dónde se debe ir., Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo
