Objective: To compare the perioperative outcomes of robotic single-site myomectomy (RSSM) and laparoendoscopic single-site myomectomy (LSSM).Methods: From January 2017 to December 2019, electronic medical records of the consecutively held 17 RSSM and 20 LSSM were reviewed. Parameters including patient’s characteristics, the total operation time, size and number of myomas taken out, operative findings, intra and postoperative complications were compared.Results: Patients who undertook RSSM were younger (27.0±7.1 vs. 32.9±7.9) and only one out of 17 (2.9%) had previous pregnancy compared to 10 out of 20 in LSSM (50.0%). Complex cases with tumors of larger size and accompanied adhesion were done using RSSM. The median operative time was longer in the RSSM (176.1±59.0 vs. 77.5±47.1). All cases were successfully performed via a single port. No cases of postoperative complication including wound dehiscence or intestinal obstruction occurred in either group.Conclusion: Perioperative outcomes of myomectomy undertaken by robotic single-site surgery and laparoendoscopic single-site surgery were comparable, though myomectomy for the larger myoma were performed with robotic single-site surgery. The role of robotic single-site myomectomy on fertility needs further investigation.

Background: Allergy health problems worldwide are mainly caused by allergens from domestic cats ( Felis catus). Fel d 1 is a major allergen that causes severe allergic reactions in humans, including rhinitis, conjunctivitis, and life-threatening asthma. The treatment for allergic reactions to Fel d 1 in humans is still in its infancy. Patients with cat allergies anticipate hypoallergenic cats. Methods: We used the CRISPR-Cas9 system, microinjection, and embryo transfer to knock out the chain 2 (CH2) genome of Fel d 1 in cats. T7 endonuclease 1 (T7E1) assay and Sanger sequencing analysis were used to confirm CH2 knockout cats. Fel d 1 level in CH2 knockout cats was assessed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Cytoplasm injection clone technology (CICT) was used to clone the CH2 knockout cat. Results: We report the first successful generation and cloning of CH2 knockout cats using the CRISPR-Cas9 system and CICT. CH2 knockout cats were confirmed using T7E1 and Sanger sequencing. Cloned CH2 knockout cat was verified by microsatellite analysis. Remarkably, ELISA proved that Fel d 1 level of CH2 knockout cats was extremely low compared with that of wild type domestic cats. Conclusion: CH2 knockout cats we generated showed an extremely low level of Fel d 1 and could be hypoallergenic cats. Our study indicates that creating hypoallergenic cats using the CRISPR-Cas9 system is a significant step forward in the consequence that these cats can safely approach allergic patients.

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data to assist students and industrial designers in fashion by examining the trend of designing women’s wear with the SCAMPER method. In the research, the seven types of SCAMPER methods for fashion design were classified based on the previous studies. From 2010 S/S to 2020 S/S, data from 5,149 photographs were collected through overlapping checks and classified by SCAMPER method type. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 25.0 for frequency analysis. As a result, in the SCAMPER “combine” method, more than two items were combined, or structural details were combined with items. In the most applied “adapt” method was involved imitating similar images, or natural forms, or other objects. The “modify” method was applied by changing the shape of some details in basic fashion items. The “magnify” method was applied by enlarging, elongating, or elevating some details of fashion items. The “minify” method was applied by minimizing, shortening, or lowering some details of basic fashion. The method of “put to other use” was expressed throughout the clothing by using non-fabric or trimmings such as metal, beads, and strings. The “rearrange” method was applied by repositioning the top and bottom, front and back, or outside and inside in fashion items and in details. The “reverse” method was applied by reversing the style of fashion, mix-and-match fabric, or switching the gender of the fashion items.

This study reveals the components of college women’s shopping orientations and compares the attributes of shoes accordingly. This study attempts to investigate the needs of consumers in the target market of young women by comparing the importance of shoe attributes with their shopping orientations and to provide basic data for efficient marketing strategies which could increase sales. Data was collected using a questionnaire survey. Of a total of 330 questionnaires, 319 were used for statistical analysis. The survey was carried out from July to August 2016. The 17 shopping orientation-related questions and 13 questions about shoe purchase attributes were measured using a five-point Likert Scale. SPSS 23 was used to carry out: descriptives, factor analysis, reliability analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, and Duncan’s test. Shopping orientations were divided between brand orientation, pleasure orientation, trend orientation and utilitarian orientation. Shoe attributes were categorized into ostentation value, product value, economic value and aesthetic value. College women were divided into the following groups: active shopping, passive shopping, rational shopping and conforming shopping. According to the comparison of the importance of shoe attributes by consumer type among college women, a significant difference by group was found in ostentation value and aesthetic value only. Furthermore, the average scores on the importance of product value and economic value were very high without significant differences between groups. The study results would be available as basic data to help improving the visual image of shoes and product quality for brands targeting young women in the fashion industry.

The purpose of this study was to classify the casual image by clothing design elements. This research was done by survey method with 30 kinds of casual image photos selected in fashion magazines. The data was analyzed by Reliability Analysis, Factor Analysis, ANOVA, Duncan`s test and MDS. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Casual image was classified by 6 factors. Those were classic-casual, modern-casual, romantic-casual, vintage-casual, sexy-casual and active-casual images. 2. Classic-casual image was well-expressed by A silhouette, fit, chromatic and chromatic color coordinations and hard texture. Modern-casual image was well-expressed by H silhouette, fit and achromatic and achromatic color coordinations. Romantic-casual image was well-expressed by A silhouette, fit and soft texture. Vintage-casual image was well-expressed by H silhouette, combination apparel-fit, chromatic and chromatic color coordinations and fade-out texture. Sexy-casual image was well-expressed by fitted silhouette, tight apparel-fit and combination texture. 3. Casual image was positioned into mostly dynamic and modern on image scale.

The aim of the present study was to investigate the beneficial effect of polydatin (PD), the glycoside form of resveratrol, on embryo development in vitro. Oocytes were aspirated from ovaries of Korean Hanwoo cows and cultured until Day 8 in a humidified atmosphere of 5% CO2 in air at 38.5°C. Protein and gene expression levels were determined through confocal microscopy and reverse transcription–polymerase chain reaction respectively, whereas the number of total and apoptotic cells in Day 8 blastocysts was determined using Hoechst 33342 staining and terminal deoxyribonucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP–digoxigenin nick end-labelling. Of the different concentrations of PD (0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 µM) added to the IVM medium, only 1.0 µM PD significantly improved blastocyst development.
