The high strength-to-weight ratio, low coefficient of thermal expansion, and lower density of aluminum alloy materials make them the most popular substitutes for currently used traditional materials. Al6061 alloys are widely employed in aerospace, automotive, and marine applications as building materials. The goal of the project is to enhance the Al606l-SiC-TiB2 composites' mechanical, tribological, and corrosion performance in order to increase the alloy's technical applicability. Using the stir casting method, the Al6061–5%SiC–TiB2 hybrid composite samples were created by optimizing process parameters. Specifically, the 5%SiC reinforcement amount was kept constant, while the TiB2 secondary reinforcement was varied by weight fractions of 1, 3 and 5%, respectively. The produced composites' chemical alloying components were examined. In order to achieve the good desired qualities, the hard dual ceramic particles were discovered to be uniformly disseminated into the base matrix Al6061 alloy. This study also detected variations in the dendritic structure and grain refinement ofTiB2. The secondary TiB2 particles and the ideal parameter selection for the stir casting process allowed for effective control of the porosity caused by the presence of SiC particles, and the cast samples show no signs of shrinkage.
