This paper considers different techniques of operating with fuzzy probability estimates of relevant random events in decision making tasks. The recalculation of posterior probabilities of states of nature based on the information provided by indicator events is performed using a fuzzy version of Bayes’ theorem. The choice of an optimal decision is made on the basis of fuzzy expected value maximisation.

В статье описано исследование возможностей применения Марковских цепей в задаче построения модели авторского стиля. Моделирование особенностей стилистики человека является актуальной задачей. Имея такую модель, возможно сравнивать с ней различные тексты, авторство которых не установлено. Итогом такого сравнения будет уровень сходства авторских стилей двух текстов. Если он достаточно высок, то можно говорить о том, что оба текста написал один и тот же человек. Использование модели авторского стиля делится на две условные части: обучение модели и непосредственно ее использование для анализа текста. Построение модели происходит на наборах текстов, для которых заведомо известно авторство. В итоге созданная модель хранит в себе особенности построения фраз и словосочетаний конкретного человека. Важной особенностью подхода на данном этапе является требование использовать для обучения тексты большого объёма. На этапе использования обученная модель применяется для вычисления уровня сходства стиля с анализируемым текстом. Рассмотрена основная теоретическая база построения графа Марковской цепи, основываясь на авторском тексте. Рассматривается возможность дополнительной очистки текста перед его использованием для обучения модели и влияние этого на итоговый результат классификации. Произведены различные эксперименты для оценки влияния параметров используемого алгоритма на эффективность классификации. Итоговый уровень корректных результатов находится в районе 60-80 %, что сравнительно неплохо. Дальнейшие исследования должны увеличить уровень распознавания

Назначение вероятностных оценок в большом числе прикладных задач производится на основе субъективных мнений экспертов. Поскольку эксперты часто затрудняются дать однозначные оценки для релевантных вероятностей, разработаны подходы, позволяющие моделировать дополнительные неопределённости, связанные с экспертным назначением вероятностей. Наиболее известными подходами такого рода являются неопределённые вероятности и нечёткие вероятности. С помощью вероятностных ящиков моделируются неопределённости, связанные с экспертным конструированием вероятностных распределений. Если эксперт не уверен в достоверности оцениваемого вероятностного распределения, вместо одного вероятностного распределения он задаёт два граничных вероятностных распределения, которые и образуют вероятностный ящик. Вероятностные распределения, образующие ящик, могут иметь самую разнообразную форму и не быть симметричными. Проблемы возникают в том случае, когда нужно скомбинировать информацию, даваемую двумя или более вероятностными ящиками, сконструированными независимыми экспертами. В оригинальных работах по вероятностным ящикам для этой цели предлагается использовать правило комбинирования уверенностей Демпстера. Недостатком этого метода следует признать необходимость нормирования результирующих уверенностей. Цель настоящей статьи - показать возможности применения альтернативных методов комбинирования уверенностей для комбинирования информации, даваемой двумя или более вероятностными ящиками. Эти методы непосредственно применимы в случаях, когда вероятностные ящики ограничены дискретными вероятностными распределениями. В случае непрерывных вероятностных распределений эти распределения должны быть дискретизированы до выполнения операций комбинирования. В работе представлены два метода дискретизации вероятностных ящиков: метод граничной дискретизации и метод дискретизации на средних точках. Наличие альтернативных методов комбинирования вероятностных ящиков позволяет выбрать наиболее подходящий метод в контексте конкретной задачи.

To select optimal solutions in multicriteria decisionmaking (MCDM) problems, many practical approaches have been developed. In almost all of these approaches, it is necessary to assess the importance of individual criteria for decision makers. Subjective assessments of importance are transformed into numerical assessments of decision weights by applying appropriate computational procedures. A large number of methods for determining the weights of the criteria have been proposed. These methods differ in their operating principles and in the calculation procedures underlying each method. Choice and decision making are an integral part of the purposeful activities of people in all areas of public and private life. Tasks of multi-criteria decision making are characterised by the fact that alternative decisions are evaluated by a set of criteria and the concept of a decision and its outcome coincide. The defining concept in such problems is the concept of a set of Pareto optimal decisions (Pareto set). This set forms alternative decisions that are not comparable in terms of the set of evaluation criteria. The choice of the optimal decision in the Pareto set can be performed only on the basis of the subjective preferences of the decision maker. In recent decades, extensions of traditional methods of multi-criteria decision making to a fuzzy environment have been proposed. One of the well-known approaches to multicriteria decision making is the TOPSIS method. In the paper, a fuzzy version of this method is considered in situations where the values of evaluation criteria are set in the form of fuzzy numbers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Probabilistic estimates are numerical representations of chances of random event occurrence. The classical theory of probability is based on the assumption that probabilistic estimates are deterministic. If available initial data are sufficient, this kind of estimates can be really obtained. However, when such data are not available, probabilistic estimates become uncertain.
