MoO3 nanorods were synthesized through the microwave method and the nanocomposites of MoO3/activated carbon were prepared for supercapacitor and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). The XRD pattern revealed that the prepared MoO3 has a hexagonal phase (h-MoO3). The as-prepared h-MoO3 was composited with activated carbon (AC) and tested for supercapacitor studies. The fabricated supercapacitor exhibited an appreciable specific capacitance, power density, and energy densities. Further, dedoping of nitrogen in the doped AC creates defects on AC (DAC). These DAC/MoO3 nanocomposites were prepared and tested for its electrocatalytic activity towards hydrogen evolution reactions. Abstract: Ultrasonic velocity (u), density (ρ), and viscosity (η) have been measured for glycylglycine and CoCl2 in aqueous and aqueous ethanol systems at T =(288.15 to 318.15)K. Using the experimental values, the adiabatic compressibility (κ s), molar hydration number (n H), apparent molar compressibility (K S Φ ), apparent molar volume (VΦ ), limiting apparent molar compressibility (), limiting apparent molar volume (), their constants (S K, S V), viscosity coefficients of A and B parameters of Jones–Dole equation, relative viscosity (η r), and excess Gibbs free energy of activation () were calculated and the results of all these parameters have been discussed in terms of solute–solvent and solute–solute interactions. The article discusses a study which focused on the fabrication of a symmetrical (p/p) supercapacitor by using activated carbon (AC)-poly-ethylenedioxythiophene (PEDOT)-composite electrodes. In this study, the preparation of composite electrodes was done through electrochemical deposition of Β-napthalenesulphonate doped PEDOT onto AC electrodes. It is concluded that supercapacitor is stable during cyclings and is more suited for applications at low frequency region.
