The study explores the motivation of consumers to join and participate in new product co‐creation, distinguishing between recruitment before, retainment during and finalizing of a co‐creation project. The research is based on follow‐up interviews with participants in a project covering the initial stages of new food product development (i.e., idea generation, idea screening and concept development) involving older consumers and carried out in a physical environment. Different motivation factors were deemed important by consumers before, during and at the closure of the project. Consumers joined the project motivated by curiosity and desire to meet new people. While performing the creative tasks, they continued the engagement due to the positive anticipation and enjoyment of new activities, as well as positive feedback loops. At the closure of the project, the usefulness of outcomes and the received recognition became important and strengthened the perceived creative self‐efficacy of participants. The findings offer useful recommendations for organizers of co‐creation, enabling the recruitment and retainment of consumers who could successfully deliver creative outputs and complete the project. The study offers novel insights relevant to participatory innovations looking at the temporal dimension of motivation to co‐create and highlights the dynamic changes in salience of the motivation factors. The available research suggests that the rate of involvement of people with disabilities and their families in the life of the Church is significantly lower than that of people without disabilities. The engagement of people with disabilities is largely dependent on (a) the level of religiosity; (b) intrinsic motivation; (c) the level of trust in the institutions of the Church; and (d) broadly understood accessibility factors. Barriers experienced by people with disabilities are complex in nature, and make these people dependent on the help of others. Overcoming them requires significant investment, commitment, and change in the Church institution. These issues are relatively rarely addressed in the literature. The few, usually partial studies tend to concentrate on specific disabilities, discussed with no reference to the family context. However, it is usually the case that the religiosity and church activity of a person with a disability are firmly rooted in their family reality, shaped by the level of religiosity of their parents, and sometimes dependent on their presence and involvement. The aim of this article, which is both theoretical and empirical in nature, is to answer the question of which barriers form an obstacle to participation in religious life for people with disabilities and their families in Poland. This study uses the results of a nationwide qualitative research (focus group interview method) conducted among people with physical and intellectual disabilities, the hard-of-hearing and the deaf, the visually impaired, and their carers. Data analysis enabled the identification of the following barriers: infrastructural, personal and organizational (family-related and extra-familial). These research results can provide guidance in pastoral work with people with disabilities and their families, improving not only the quality of their religious experience, but also the number of the faithful in the Church community. The stability of water‐based pigment dispersions is a key factor in determining their utility in ink‐jet applications, and the appropriate choice of dispersant plays a special role. Among the pigment formulations tested to date, literature data on magenta pigments are very limited. Thus, the goal of this work was to study the influence of the type and loading of dispersants on the quality and stability of quinacridone magenta pigment dispersions. Three different commercially available dispersants were tested: (1) a cationic styrene‐maleic anhydride copolymer, (2) an anionic polyacrylate, and (3) a nonionic alkyl ethoxylate. Pigment and dispersing agents were analysed using the Fourier Transform–infrared method. The stability of pigment dispersions was determined by comparative studies of changes in the pigment particle size, viscosity, pH, filtration time, optical density and gloss during the accelerated ageing test. Moreover, Turbiscan AGS and LUMiFuge analysers were used for evaluations of the instability of the dispersions. The properties of each dispersing agent affected the performances of the different dispersants. The highest stability for the pigment formulations was provided using the nonionic dispersant (small particle size, < 60 nm; the lowest viscosity < 60 mPa·s at the optimal dispersant content; favourable results of the filtration test; the highest pigment dispersability, proven by optical density and gloss). The Turbiscan AGS and LUMiFuge results indicated that the stability of all tested quinacridone magenta pigment dispersions was excellent (Turbiscan Stability Index values below three, and no significant differences in transmission profiles, respectively). The family holds a special place in human life. Given the importance of marriage and family for the welfare of people, the Catholic Church strives to protect these values. The Church's stance towards people with disabilities is unequivocally protective and inclusive, but it also recognises that the right to marriage and family life is not absolute. Not all people with disabilities are able to start a family or fulfil the obligations of marriage and family life. In canon law, the Church sets forth certain conditions for contracting a valid marriage, taking into account the human resources that make a person capable of such a commitment. This article examines the narratives of people with disabilities who participated in a study on religiosity, faith, and prayer, and how these can provide meaning to disability in the context of marital and family life. The research findings confirm our hypothesis that faith and religious practices provide people with disabilities with a sense of meaning in life and help them stabilise difficult moments and experiences; prayer is a source of peace, patience, and gentleness, and it improves the quality of life of both people with disabilities and their families; faith and religious practices help people with disabilities make sense of everyday difficulties, gain perspective, and overcome their weaknesses or egocentrism; religiousness is a source of meaning in life. Faith and religion play an important role in participants' efforts to accept their lives, provide care, and show love. Moreover, they have a positive impact on the rehabilitation process. During archaeological excavations in burial sites, sometimes stoned organic objects are found, in addition to human remains. Those objects might be of a different origin, depending on various factors influencing members of a community (i.e. diseases, trauma), which provides information about their living conditions. The St. Nicholas Church archaeological site (Libkovice, Czechia) in the 18th century horizon of the cemetery, yielded a maturus-senilis female skeleton with a stone object in the left iliac fossa. This object was an oviform cyst-like rough structure, measuring 54 mm in length, 35 mm in maximum diameter and 0.2–0.7 mm shell thickness. Within the object there were small fetal bones (long bones, i.e. femur and two tibias, two scapulas, three ribs, vertebrae and other tiny bone fragments). Methods utilized to analyze the outer and inner surface morphology of the cyst and its inside, included: X-ray, CT imaging, SEM, histological staining and EDS. The EDS analysis revealed the presence of primarily oxygen, calcium and phosphorus in bone samples, and oxygen and silicon, in stone shell. Based on the length of the femur (20.2 mm) and tibia (16 mm) shafts, the fetal age was determined as being in the 15–18 week of pregnancy. The differential diagnosis was conducted, including for the three most probable cases: fetiform teratoma (FT), fetus-in-fetu (FIF) and lithopedion. The possibility of fetiform teratoma was discounted due to the presence of an anatomically correct spine, long bones and the proportions of the find. Although the low calcium content in the shell (2.3% atom mass), the lack of skull bones and the better developed lower limbs indicate fetus-in-fetu rather than lithopedion, the analyses results are unable to conclusively identify the object under one of these two categories since there are insufficient such cases in excavation material with which to draw comparison.
