Before starting and also during the exploitation of va1ioussystems, it is vety imp011ant to know how the system and itsparts will behave during operation regarding breakdowns, i.e.failures. It is possible to predict the service behaviour of a systemby determining the functions of reliability, as well as frequencyand intensity of failures.The paper considers the theoretical basics of the functionsof reliability, frequency and intensity of failures for the twomain approaches. One includes 6 equal intetvals and the other13 unequal intetvals for the concrete case taken from practice.The reliability of the "alternator- alternator belt" system installedin the buses, has been analysed, according to the empiricaldata on failures.The empitical data on failures provide empirical functionsof reliability and frequency and intensity of failures, that arepresented in tables and graphically. The first analysis perfO!med by dividing the mean time between failures into 6 equaltime intervals has given the forms of empirical functions of fa ilurefrequency and intensity that approximately cotTespond totypical functions. By dividing the failure phase into 13 unequalintetvals with two failures in each interval, these functions indicateexplicit transitions from early failure inte1val into the randomfailure interval, i.e. into the ageing intetval. Functions thusobtained are more accurate and represent a better solution forthe given case.In order to estimate reliability of these systems with greateraccuracy, a greater number of failures needs to be analysed.

The main goal of the study was to determine gender differences in validity scales of personality measuring instruments, among the psychiatric patients. Additional goals are to fi nd the differences among male and female psychiatric patients, in relation to their age group, education level and type of psychiatric diagnosis. A total of 331 male and 331 female participants (psychiatric patients) are examined, classifi ed by the categories of diagnosis, as following: Schizophrenia, schizotypal and delusional disorders (F20-F29), Mood (affective) disorders (F30-F39) ; Neurotic, stress-related and somatoform disorders neurotic, (F40-F48) and Disorders of adult personality and behavior (F60-F69). Four control scales are applied: Lie Scale (MMPIL or L scale), Scale of bizarre and confusing thinking (MMPIF or F scale) K scale of Defensiveness (MMPIK), together with Bias-scale in Plutchik’s Emotion Profi le Index (EPI). Three-factorial MANOVA was used in the analysis of the main effects, while non-parametric tests in the analysis of differences for each independent variable. Results reflect characteristic statistically significant gender differences in validity scales of personality measuring instruments, in most of the independent variables (the main effects are found for the level of education and age group). These results were interpreted within the theoretical framework of simulation and dissimulation.

Cilj ovog istraživanja je ispitivanje obilježja muških osoba koje su ostvarile protupravno djelo u Republici Hrvatskoj prema vrsti bolesti, vrsti ostvarenoga protupravnog djela, dobi počinjenja protupravnog djela, alkoholiziranosti tempore criminis i duljini prisilnog smještaja. Istraživanje je provedeno na uzorku od 323 muške osobe koje su ostvarile protupravno djelo u neubrojivom stanju i nalazile su se na prisilnom smještaju u Zavodu za forenzičku psihijatriju Neuropsihijatrijske bolnice "Dr. Ivan Barbot" u Popovači. Največi broj ispitanika boluje od shizofrenije (59, 13%), a najmanje od organskih duševnih poremećaja i epilepsije (7, 74%). Najviše je ostvarenih protupravnih djela ubojstva ili ubojstva u pokušaju (47, 99%), a najmanje seksualnih delikata na štetu djece (3, 09%) i prijetnji (3, 09%). Dob ispitanika se razlikuje prema ostvarenju određenih protupravnih djela, što sugerira da različite dobne skupine čine različita protupravna djela. Alkoholiziranost tempore criminis kod neubrojivih osoba je velika (42, 4%), ali nema utjecaj na vrstu ostvarenoga protupravnog djela. Istraživanjem je utvrđeno da na duljinu prisilnog smještaja ne utječe vrsta ostvarenoga protupravnog djela nego samo težina bolesti pojedine osobe kao i njena procjena opasnosti za okolinu i vjerojatnost da bi zbog duševnih smetnji mogla ponovno počiniti kazneno djelo što je i zakonski smisao izrečene mjere.

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of psoriasis on quality of life and psychological characteristics of patients. Sixty-one patient (25 male and 36 female) with diagnosis of plaque psoriasis participated in this study. During their stay at Naftalan, Special Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation they were referred to a psychological consult. Assessment was done through questionnaires concerning quality of life, patient’s personality, perceived social support and traumatic events. According to the results of our study, psoriasis has a substantial impact on patient’s life. Severe traumatic event in past 6 months experienced 54.09% of patients. Personality tests revealed increased neuroticism, mainly in female patients. Also, female patients reported about presence of indeterminate fear, shudder and tension, as well as elevated somatic anxiety and hysteria. Despite above mentioned data, patients evaluated their quality of life higher than perceived social support – 3.75 vs. 3.61. It is well known that quality of life is specific psychological phenomenon. Although more than 50% of our patients reported severe traumatic event in the last six months, it did not obviously influence to much on their quality of life. Regardless to high perceptive quality of life, psoriasis patients have increased psychoneurotic symptoms which are particularly expressed in female patients. Therefore, apart from medical treatment of skin lesions, psoriasis patients should have adequate psychological treatment and support from its environment.

U prilogu su analizirani članci objavljeni u časopisu Ljetopis Studijskog centra socijalnog rada u razdoblju od 1994. do 2003. godine. Svrha rada bila je utvrditi strukturu objavljenih priloga, područje koje obuhvaćaju, autorsku analizu, te ustanove iz kojih dolaze autori objavljenih priloga. Analizirana je i citirana literatura (citiranje stranih i domaćih autora, članaka iz Ljetopisa, te autocitiranje). U prilogu je prikazana i tehnička analiza radova (obim rada, grafički prikazi, tablice). Na taj način analizirano je ukupno 222 priloga., The paper analyses articles published in the journal Yearbook of the Department of Social Work in the period from 1994 to 2003. The purpose of the paper was to determine the structure of the articles published, the field they address and to analyse the authorship of the articles and institutions they come from. The literature cited was also analysed (citing foreign and domestic authors, articles from the Yearbook, and self-citations). The supplement also contains a technical analysis of the works (length of article, graphic presentations, tables). 222 articles have been analysed in this way.

U radu su obrađeni podaci o samoubojstvima u Moslavini od 1987. do 2003. godine. Analizirana je stopa suicida, spol, dob, način i mjesto izvršenja, odnos suicida. Stopa suicida u Moslavini je veća od hrvatskog prosjeka. Prosječna stopa samoubojstava u razdoblju od 1987. do 2001. godine iznosi 32,87, a pokazuje znatnije oscilacije. Najmanja je bila 1994. godine (22), a najveća 1987. godine (45). Dok je u predratnom razdoblju pokazivala trend smanjenja, u poslijeratnom pokazuje trend povećanja u odnosu na hrvatski prosjek. Znatno je viša u sjevernom, rijetko naseljenom dijelu od južnog, razvijenijeg dijela Moslavine. Omjer muških i ženski počinitelja je 3,70:1. 64,30% počinitelja samoubojstava starije je od 50 godina. U sjevernom dijelu Moslavine preko 30% počinitelja samoubojstava starije je od 70 godina. Dominantan način izvršenja suicida je vješanje (u 66,26% slučajeva), te vatreno oružje (u 17,60% slučajeva). Samoubojstva se najčešće izvršavaju u kući, zatim u dvorištu, te na otvorenom prostoru. Broj pokušaja opada, a počinjenih suicida raste u funkciji dobi., The paper deals with data on suicide in Moslavina from the year 1987 to 2003. The rate of suicide is analysed, as well as gender, age, means and location of the attempt, the relation of suicide and parasuicide of psychiatrically treated patients. The rate of suicide in Moslavina is higher than the Croatian average. The average rate of suicide in the period between 1987 and 2001 is 32.87, and shows considerable oscillations. It was lowest, 22, in 1994, and highest, 45, in 1987. While in the pre-war period it presented a falling trend, the post-war period demonstrates a rising trend in comparison to the Croatian average. It is much higher in the northern, depopulated part, than in the southern, better developed part of Moslavina. The ratio between male and female suicides is 3.70 to 1. 64.30% of suicides are at ages over 50. In the northern part of Moslavina, over 30% of suicides are committed by people older than 70. The dominant means of committing suicide is by hanging in 66.26%, and by firearms in 17.60% of the cases. Suicides are mostly committed in the home, in the courtyard, and outdoors. The number of attempts falls and the frequency of committed suicides grows in the function of age.

The paper presents the provisions of the part of Montreal Convention which refers to the air carriers' liability regarding damage to passengers and luggage, with the intention of indicating the possible influence of this Convention on the equal liability in maritime carriage, settled by the recent changes of the Athens Convention on the carriage of passengers and their luggage by sea. The provisions of these documents are compared regarding the basic principles of the carrier's liability and the amount of liability for the damage, showing both some similarities and some differences in the carriage of passengers by air, i.e. by sea.

General development of civilisation and constant growth of population have inevitably resulted in an increased volume of traffic and energy consumption. One of the consequences is also the adverse effect on the environment, i.e. people, climate and nature. Comparing individual forms of transport, it may be noted that railway, as mass carrier in passenger and freight traffic plays a significant role and has great responsibility. Since railway represents a very convenient form of transport regarding both power and ecology, it has to provide significant contribution to the passenger and freight transport in the future, in a way which is friendlier to the environment than most other forms of transport.This work analyses the current and future role of railway in the transportation of people and goods. It mentions the most important strategic orientations in the railway development, that would render it competitive and attractive compared toroad and air traffic. Special emphasis is put on economic efficiency, ecological sustainability and social justice. The possibilities of reducing energy consumption, i.e. C02 emissions, as well as reducing harmful exhaust gases of Diesel railway traction vehicles are given special consideration.

Road traffic injuries have become a global developmental and health issue. One of the major risk factors for road traffic injuries and fatal outcomes is driving under the influence of alcohol. The aim of this study was to explore trends in the observed time period of the share of accidents caused under the influence of alcohol in all traffic accidents caused by motor vehicle drivers in Republic of Croatia. Outcomes of road traffic accidents caused by drivers under the influence of alcohol were analyzed, as well as differences in outcomes depending on the degree of alcohol intoxication. Trends in share of traffic violations for drunken driving in the total number of traffic violations were examined. Data were gathered for the time period from 1999 to 2012. Special emphasis was given to traffic accidents caused by young motor vehicle drivers under the influence of alcohol.

The existence of a focal brain lesion that might be the crucial cause for the development of diverse psychiatric phenomena and certain characteristics of personality is often a controversial issue. The patient was a 29-year-old male when he killed his father with a single knock with the blunt side of an axe. Subsequently to the act, the patient developed a 10-month-long catatonic stupor during which he experienced intensive fear, delusions, and affective symptoms. He was an emotionally blunted person with no medical record and without prior history of aggressive behavior. Magnetic resonance image revealed a large, right-sided arachnoid cyst that was associated with right temporal and frontal lobe hypoplasia and bilateral changes of perfusion in peri-insular regions. The treatment with clozapine and diazepam showed to be therapeutic. This could be the second case of homicide committed by a person with arachnoid cyst and without past history of aggression, and the second description of an adult patient with cyst who developed catatonic stupor. This is the first description of long-lasting organic catatonic stupor treated with clozapine and diazepam. Relevant literature is reviewed and some controversial issues are discussed., Razvoj različitih psihijatrijskih sindroma ili promjena značajka osobnosti može biti povezana sa žarišnim ozljedama mozga, ali je ujedno i proturječno pitanje. Bolesnik, inače osoba bez osobitosti u ranijoj medicinskoj dokumentaciji i bez ranijih iskazivanja fizičke agresije, imao je 29 godina kada je ubio oca jednim udarcem sjekire. Nakon djela razvio je dugotrajni, desetomjesečni katatoni stupor tijekom kojeg je doživljavao intenzivni strah, sumanutosti i afektivne simptome. Pretraga glave magnetskom rezonancom otkrila je veliku desnostranu arahnoidnu cistu povezanu s hipoplazijom desnog temporalnog i frontalnog režnja te bilateralnim promjenama u perfuziji periinzularnih regija. Liječenje klozapinom i diazepamom pokazalo se učinkovitim. Ovo je vjerojatno drugi prikaz bolesnika s arahnoidnom cistom koji je počinio ubojstvo, a da prethodno nije pokazivao agresivno ponašanje te drugi prikaz bolesnika s cistom koji je razvio katatoni stupor. Radi se također o prvom opisu uspješnog liječenja dugotrajnog katatonog stupora kombinacijom klozapina i diazepama. Slučaj je poslužio za prikaz relevantne literature i raspravu o proturječnim pitanjima.

Podmetanje požara vrlo je ozbiljno kazneno djelo koje uzrokuje materijalnu štetu te može ugroziti tjelesni integritet ili ljudske živote. Osobe koje podmeću požare karakterizira nizak obrazovni status, bez zanimanja su, imaju izražene maritalne i socijalne probleme koji su često udruženi s uzimanjem alkohola ili drugih sredstava ovisnosti. Za razliku od drugih kaznenih djela podmetanje požara zahtijeva vrlo malo specifičnih znanja, vještina ili spretnosti, a kao sredstvo počinjenja mogu se upotrijebiti lako dostupne stvari. U populaciji počinitelja požara relativno je nizak postotak žena. Različite klasifikacije počinitelja požara dijele ih s obzirom na motive koji su u pozadini djela, psihopatološke karakteristike, a novije klasifikacije deriviraju se iz kriminoloških studija i povezuju obilježja mjesta zločina s karakteristikama počinitelja. Osobe koje su zbog kaznenog djela potpaljivanja proglašene neubrojivim kao grupa su heterogena i ne razlikuju se bitnije od drugih neubrojivih pacijenata. Od bolesti najzastupljenije su shizofrenije (pretežito paranoidno-halucinatornog tipa), mentalne retardacije (s povremenim psihotičnim dekompenzacijama ili simptomatskim alkoholizmom) te alkoholne psihoze. Piromanija je izuzetno rijetka.

The aim of this study was to examine the possible differences in self-reported quality of life of people with physical disabilities with regard to both socio-demographic and disability-related characteristics. Testing was conducted on 153 respondents with physical disabilities, residents of the City of Zagreb. Positive correlations were found between the quality of life and income satisfaction, residence size (per capita floor area) and level of residence equipment. Multivariate analysis of variance showed statistically significant differences in quality of life among respondents with regard to the marital status, work status and home ownership. Statistically significant differences in the quality of life were found among the participants depending on their level of physical mobility and type of physical disability. The level of physical mobility is associated with general satisfaction with the accomplishment of goals, aspirations and hopes. The type of physical disability is related to the satisfaction with leisure activities, with the material status, expectations to achieve in the future what has not formerly been achieved. There was also a significant relation between the type of physical disability and general satisfaction with life in the past year. Positive correlations between duration of disability and quality of life were found. Membership in associations of persons with physical disability and related benefits were shown to contribute to the quality of life.

Psoriasis, as some sa other skin disease, has an influence on many spheres of patient s life. It influences the mental image the patients have of themselves and it indirectly shapes their personality traits as well as it defines the quality of their lives. Aims: To establish the amount of influence that psoriasis has on the quality of patients lives and their psychical traits. Methods: During the treatment of psoriasis patients at the special hospital for rehabilitation of patients with psoriasis, personality questionnaries and questionnaries on quality of life and perceived social support were used. Conclusion: The obtained results indicated that in order to effectively treat psoriasis, a psychological treatment was also needed as well as the support of patients broader environment.

U ovom članku prezentiraju se pravila kojih bi se trebali pridržavati vještaci psihijatri kod vještačenja psihičkih posljedica tjelesnih ozljeda prema pravilima Hrvatske orijentacijske medicinske tablice (dalje HOMT). Radi se o novom pristupu u vještačenju nematerijalnih šteta prema novom Zakonu o obveznim odnosima iz 2005. godine. U članku se daje detaljni prikaz psihijatrijskog dijela Medicinskih tablica i skala HOMT-e, kao i opći uvjeti vještačenja prema HOMT-i. Prosudba vještaka mora biti utemeljena na utvrđenim klasifikacijskim sistemima, u ovom slučaju HOMT-e. Nije dovoljna samo analiza lošeg psihičkog stanja nakon povrede. Potrebno je analizirati težinu i dinamiku traumatiziranja, razvoj kliničke slike nakon traume, kauzalni neksus, te odnos predtraumatskih i posttraumatskih psihičkih smetnji. Što se to detaljnije obavi, time je nalaz vjerodostojniji.

Applied neuroscientific knowledge such as brain neuroimaging has widespread application in the medical diagnostic and treatment areas. Neuroscientific progress such as cognitive neuroscience has strong implications in specific medical fields such as forensic psychiatry. Significant progress in forensic psychiatry has affected the practice of law, in which an understanding of the complex relationship among mind, brain, and behavior is becoming necessary. Forensic psychiatry is concerned with the relationship between psychiatric abnormalities and legal violations and crimes. Due to the lack of available biological criteria, assessment, evaluation and therapy in forensic psychiatry have so far been restricted to psychosocial and mental criteria of offender personality. Recent advances in nuclear radiology such as brain imaging techniques (fMRI, DT-MRI, PET, SPECT) allow a closer approach to the neural correlates of personality, moral judgements and decision-making. Introduction of neurobiological criteria (based on advanced neuroimaging techniques) in the field of forensic psychiatry and establishing the rules to what extend such biological criteria will be more reliable choice in evaluating mentally ill offenders would be of fundamental value in the modern forensic psychiatry. Psychosocial and subjective criteria in forensic evaluation will be more accomplished by biopsychosocial and objective criteria. Advances in the neuroimaging techniques bring specificity to the problems underlying the application of neuroscience to criminal law.

U radu je istraživana praksa Općinskog suda u Rijeci, kroz četiri godine, od 2003. do 2006. godine. Istraživanje je obuhvatilo sve pravomoćne presude u tom razdoblju za kazneno djelo zapuštanja i zlostavljanja djece ili maloljetne osobe (čl. 213. KZ-a). Dobiven je ukupni broj počinitelja i neke karakteristike počinitelja, te ukupan broj žrtava, njihova dob i spol. Obrađivani podaci obuhvatili su neke karakteristike visine izrečenih kazni, izdvojena su kaznena djela počinjena u stjecaju i ona počinjena u sudioništvu. Rezultati provedenog istraživanja ukazuju na porast broja počinjenih kaznenih djela (opisan u čl. 213. KZ-a), presuda, počinitelja i žrtava što nam govori o ozbiljnosti problema i potrebi za sinergijskim djelovanjem u rješavanju problema.

Rizik pojavnosti obiteljskog i drugog nasilja povećan je u obiteljima oboljelih od posttraumatskog stresnog poremećaja (PTSP). U cilju utvrđivanja učestalosti i vrste obiteljskog nasilja, na Zavodu za forenzičku psihijatriju Neuropsihijatrijske bolnice Dr. Ivan Barbot u Popovači provedena je analiza podataka osoba oboljelih od PTSP-a, nad kojima je provedeno forenzičko psihijatrijsko vještačenje u razdoblju od 2000. do 2005. godine. Rezultati analize ukazuju da vještačene osobe često uz PTSP imaju i komorbiditet, te smanjenu ubrojivost za čin nasilja u obitelji, a dio ih je i neubrojiv, iako se smatra da osobe oboljele od PTSP-a ne gube kontakt s realitetom, te su sposobne razlikovati dobro od zla. Dugotrajno monitoriranje tih osoba i članova njihovih obitelji potrebno je radi prevencije potencijalnog budućeg nasilja. Dio tih osoba treba imati intenzivni psihijatrijski tretman, koji uključuje i farmakološku i socijalnu terapiju i psihoterapiju ovisno o intenzitetu bolesti i strukturi ličnosti.

The research was conducted at the Department of Forensic Psychiatry in Neuropsychiatric Hospital »Dr. Ivan Barbot« in Popovaca, Croatia. The sample in this study consisted of domestic homicide group (N=162). The results showed certain characteristics within the group of domestic homicide offenders. Generally speaking the offenders in domestic homicide cases were often married and were living in their families. Moreover, they were brought up in families with both parents and they had history of regular military service. Furthermore, offenders in domestic homicide cases were less involved in intervention from social services with rare history of home runaway and substance abuse during adolescence. Finally, the same group of offenders was less often had mothers or close friends with antisocial personality disorder but had frequent language and speech problems during adolescent period. In regard to the victims of domestic homicide they were often aged females. The offenders usually commit crime in their living space, either in the house or in the apartment. Based on these findings we conclude there are certain specific characteristics in the domestic homicide cases compared to homicide in general.

Numerous investigations indicate a close link between violent behavior, homicide (murder) and alcohol intoxication. With increased frequency of drinking and the chronic consummation of alcohol, the risk of the fatal outcome or homicide and victimization caused by violence is more likely to occur. Studies conducted on convicted murderers suggested that about half of them were under the heavy influence of alcohol at the time of perpetration of murder. The sample in this survey consisted of 177 male offenders which committed criminal act of murder in Croatia from the year of 1990 until 2007 (capital murder and attempted murder). All were assigned for the forensic psychiatric evaluation by the Criminal Justice System (Court of Law) at the Department of Forensic Psychiatry, Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Popova~a, Croatia. For the purpose of this work the sample is divided in two groups of subjects: 1) offenders which were intoxicated at the time of murder and committed offence on intoxicated victim 2) offenders who were sober and committed offence on sober victims. Groups are compared according to the variables of crime and history of alcohol abuse. On the basis of obtained results we can conclude that there are significant differences in relation to the variables and modalities of criminal offence between two groups of offenders and victims. We could conclude that alcohol intoxication in offenders and victims at the time of murder could strongly affect the modalities of murder.

The aim of our study was to determine if there is a difference between the type of crime committed by persons diagnosed with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and that committed by other offenders. The study included 389 male patients at the Department of Forensic Psychiatry in Popovaca who underwent forensic psychiatric evaluation to establish a psychiatric diagnosis, evaluate the mental capacity, and provide advice on further treatment. The data on the number of individuals with PTSD vs. other psychiatric disorders and the data on family violence vs. other criminal acts were analyzed with chi2 test. Of a total of 389 forensically evaluated male patients, 45 (11.6%) suffered from PTSD. Study subjects with PTSD only or PTSD comorbid with the other psychiatric disorders committed family violence significantly more often than subjects diagnosed with the other psychiatric disorders chi2(1) = 40.092, P < 0.001. Subjects with PTSD, whether or not comorbid with the other psychiatric disorders, committed family violence significantly more often than subjects with other psychiatric diagnoses.

Glede velikog broja putnika koji se u nizu gradova diljem svijeta, dnevno prevoze u gradskim prijevozničkim tvrtkama, tramvajska prometna sredstva čine znatan prijevoznički segment unutar, često zagušenog prometnog okruženja. Time su shvatljiva nastojanja autora da antropometrijskom analizom zona pogleda vozača tramvaja raznovrsnih tjelesnih karakteristika, uporabom suvremenih 3D digitalnih sustava (BodySABA, VatoSABA) i računalnih programskih rješenja (ErSABA) utvrde ostvarene zone pogleda koje se realiziraju tijekom upravljanja tramvajem. Obzirom da je u dinamičnim prometnim situacijama gradskog prometa preglednost i pravovremeno reagiranje od strane vozača neprijeporno jedan od temeljnih pravaca ergonomijskog razvoja, upravljanje prometnim sredstvima s stajališta vozača još uvijek je nedovoljno istraženo. Ovim radom utvrđene su zone pogleda vozača muškog i ženskog spola, različitih antropoloških odlika i relevantnih antropometrijskih dimenzija, unutar Crotram niskopodnog tramvaja, model NT 2200.

In this paper, we propose an inter-vehicle ad-hoc communication protocol in order for each vehicle to acquire its local traffic information. car drivers always want to access not only trunk road information but also back street road information. To solve this problems, we are doing research on disseminating and propagating road information using mobile inter-vehicle ad-hoc communication protocol. In this research, we have developed a mobile ad-hoc network simulator that produces inter-vehicle data propagation situation from the location information of all the cars and various kinds of statistics information such as packet collision ratios and reception message amount. This simulator uses traffic flow simulator NETSTREAM II that is developed by an automaker and produces actual traffic flow.

Radi se prvom istraživanju u kome se sustavno analizira psihosocijalna i sociodemografska obilježja ubojstva u obitelji pod vidom (ne)ubrojivosti počinitelja te specifične psihijatrijske dijagnoze. Istraživanje je asocijacijsko, komparativno-posljedičnog tipa. Uzorak istraživanja čine muški počinitelji kaznenog djela ubojstva u Republici Hrvatskoj u razdoblju od 1990. do 2004. godine kojima je bilo određeno psihijatrijsko vještačenje (N= 286). Multivarijatna obrada podataka pokazala je da je kod počinitelja ubojstava u krugu obitelji češće bila prisutna ovisnost u obitelji. Žrtva obiteljskog ubojstva češće je ženskog spola, u 46, 6% slučajeva iznad 50 godina. Počinitelji ubojstava u obitelji u odnosu na one izvan obitelji nešto su boljeg socioekonomskog statusa te su bili bolje socijalno prilagođeni u djetinjstvu i adolescenciji. Osobe oboljele od shizofrenije koje su počinile kazneno djelo ubojstva u obitelji češće su počinitelji paricida i siblicida, rjeđe su bili izazvani od žrtve, češće su ubijali mušku osobu i češće su ubijali vlastitom fizičkom snagom te su rjeđe bili alkoholizirani tempore criminis. Nalazi ukazuju da je ubojstvo u obitelji različite etiologije od ubojstva izvan kruga obitelji.

The working activity of body interaction between humans and the ergonomic structure of automobiles is related to respective working loads, including strain. The loads people are subjected to when approaching and leaving road motor vehicles, when they occupy different working postures form a wide and still insufficiently studied bio-mechanical and ergonomic area. Carrying, lifting and handling of cargo often result in relatively high loads. Loads that can occur during human work in most cases are related to the non-ergonomic working position. The purpose of the carried out ergonomic research is to better design the working ambient system, correct and sustainable body posture with bio-mechanically more accurate performance of the movements of people in interaction with the automobile.

Air traffic is a branch characterized by speed and safety. Consequently, at present fast and precise information flow is very important from the technological aspect. One of the main and responsible parts of the airport for information transfer between the sectors is the traffic centre which can be also called the heart of the airport. The main motive for the development and modernization of introducing information technology into the traffic centre at the airport is the low level of connections offered by the information applications implemented until now, which often represent the limiting factor in communication. The objective is to develop the management module at all levels which would enable the traffic centre employees and airport users to provide a simpler, timely and more efficient service. The problem is most pronounced at secondary airports where most of the communication is performed by radio-connection and in peak hours when the radio channels become saturated. The solution that will be presented in this paper is related to the wireless network communication which is experiencing expansion and its domination in the future traffic solutions is expected.

Cilj rada je odrediti neka kriminološka, psihopatološka i forenzično-psihijatrijska obilježja neubrojivih mentalno retardiranih osoba. Uvidom u medicinsku, socijalnu i sudsku dokumentaciju prikupljeni su podaci o neubrojivim mentalno retardiranim osobama (N=34) koje su počinile obilježja kaznenog djela, a nalaze se na prisilnoj hospitalizaciji u Zavodu za forenzičku psihijatriju Neuropsihijatrijske bolnice "Dr. Ivan Barbot" u Popovači. Utvrđeno je da neubrojive mentalno retardirane osobe u većini slučajeva imaju i komorbidne dijagnoze, prethodno su psihijatrijski liječene i mlađe su dobi. Najčešće ostvaruju obilježja kaznenih djela protiv imovine, života i tijela te protiv spolne slobode i spolnog ćudoređa. Uočena je tendencija dugotrajnije hospitalizacije zbog različitih psihičkih i socijalnih faktora.

The goal of this study was identification of highly specific patterns of schizophrenia related domestic homicides by comparing schizophrenic homicide offenders with related domestic homicide group of offenders diagnosed with other psychiatric disorders. This study was based on the comparison of schizophrenic homicide group and other homicide group of offenders on the basis of differences in psychosocial and sociodemographic patterns and the modality of crime. The survey was conducted on mentally insane domestic homicide offenders diagnosed with schizophrenia (n=44) and second group of mentally insane offenders diagnosed with other psychiatric diagnosis (n=43). All offenders were admitted to Department of Forensic Psychiatry (Neuropsychiatric Hospital "Dr. Ivan Barbot", Popovaca, Croatia) for psychiatric evaluation. They have undergone psychological testing and psychiatric evaluation in order to make forensic expert analyses of each case particularly. This study showed some specific characteristics in the cases of schizophrenic offenders ; they are more often commit parricides and siblicides, the victims are often males with their own physical strength. Furthermore, schizophrenic offenders were indifferent upon killing their victim ; they were less often provoked by a victim itself and were sober tempore criminis. Moreover, in the same homicide group we found young, single offenders with high school education, average intelligence and with positive psychiatric heredity. Finally, in the same group of offenders we have found no history of military serving, less social developmental disruptions, less history of drug and alcohol abuse during adolescence and adult age.

The research was based on some personality traits of alcoholics, such as special qualities of psychopathological and socio-pathological characteristics of alcoholic offenders according to the type of criminal offence and non-offenders. The research was carried out in prison and hospital system in Popovača. Two groups of examinees were included. The experimental group (E) (N=96) consisted of persons convicted for homicide (Nl=32), traffic offences (N2=32) and offences against property (N3=32). The control group (K) (N4=64) consisted of alcoholics undergoing hospital treatment at the Alcoholism Department of Neuropsychiatric Hospital Dr. Ivan Barbot in Popovača. There were no evident differences in the examined psychopathological variables among alcoholic offenders except that the offenders against property displayed more aggression than the homicide offenders.

The research was based on some personality characteristics of alcoholics, such as specific ego qualities of alcoholic offenders in respect to the type of criminal offence, and non-offenders. The research was carried out in the prison and within the hospital system during the years of 2002/2003 in Popovača. Two groups of subjects were included. The experimental group (E) (N=96) was comprised of individuals sentenced to prison for homicide (Nl=32), traffic offences (N2=32) and offences against property (N3=32). The control group (K) (N4=64) included the alcoholics undergoing the hospital treatment at the Alcoholism Department of Neuropsychiatric Hospital Dr Ivan Barbot in Popovača. The research results indicated that the homicide offenders exhibited lower ego during the latent phase and an overall stronger ego than non-offenders.

Cijeli svijet traži odgovore na nove oblike terorizma informacijsko-komunikacijskom tehnologijom u zračnom prometu. Postupci nadziranja i kontrole se mogu promatrati kao dvije podcjeline. Obje podcjeline imaju zadaću obaviti zadatak na latentan način, jer će takvim načinom sigurnosti zgrada zadržati otvorenu vizuru. Vrlo je značajan za sigurnost zračne luke sustav nadzora i profiliranja putnika. Pored audio i video sustava primjenjen je i biometrijski nadzor putnika.Biometrijski nadzor provodi učitavanje u dokumente, bilježi biometrijske podatke osoba od identifikacije otisaka prstiju do bio-scana šarenice oka te mjerenja telemetrije kardiovaskularnog sustava. Biometrijsko prepoznavanje lica omogućava simultanu pretragu desetina lica, provjerivši identitet osobe u trenutku. Sustav identifikacije CAPPSII razlikuje četiri kategorije putnika, gdje se stvara slika o putniku te svaki ima svoju karticu sa slikom. Kao alternativnu metodu biometrijskim načinima identifikacije predstavlja VPII ručni vaskularni sustav prepoznavanja.

Promet na unutarnjim plovnim putovima još uvijek nije u potpunosti iskorišten kao pouzdana, isplativa i ekološki prihvatljiva prometna grana za srednje i duge razdaljine. Na VII. Dunavskom koridoru provodi se niz aktivnosti koje će povećati konkurentnost prometa na unutarnjim plovnim putovima u odnosu na cestovni i željeznički. Od primarne je važnosti i uvođenje telematikom podržanih ITS usluga na cijelom koridoru. U radu su analizirane aktivnosti koje se provode u cilju uspostave suvremenih informacijsko-komunikacijskih sustava koje će pridonijeti unapređenju unutarnje plovidbe. Kao podunavska država i Republika Hrvatska uključuje svoje unutarnje plovne putove u telematički sustav ostalih zemalja VII. Dunavskog koridora.

Analizom nekoliko prijevoznih oblika javnoga gradskog prijevoza putnika dokazane su znatne komparativne prednosti željezničkog prometa. Budući da Zračna luka Zagreb u svome razvojnom programu predviđa znatan porast godišnjega putničkog prijevoza, a željeznički gradsko-prigradski prijevoz ne zadovoljava sadašnju potražnju Grada Velike Gorice, predložene su razvojne koncepcije sustava željezničkog prijevoza, koji je na tom području neopravdano zapostavljen. Na taj način povećala bi se mobilnost stanovništva uz manje gužve na cestovnim prometnicama, a građanima povećala kvaliteta življenja.

Na VII. Dunavskom koridoru provodi se niz postupaka i aktivnosti koje će povećati konkurentnost prometa na unutarnjim plovnim putovima u odnosu na cestovni i željeznički. Od primarne je važnosti i uvođenje telematikom podržanih inteligentnih transportnih sustava na cijelom koridoru. U radu su dane i analizirane aktivnosti koje se provode u cilju uspostave suvremenih informacijsko-komunikacijskih sustava, kao i moguće koristi od njih, a koje će pridonjeti unaprijeđenju unutarnje plovidbe. Kao podunavska država i Hrvatska se jasno odredila prema razvoju unutarnje plovidbe potpisivanjem Europskog ugovora o glavnim unutarnjim plovnim putovima od međunarodnog značaja, te postupno uključuje svoju unutarnju plovidbu u telematički sustav ostalih zemalja VII. Dunavskog koridora.

Zbog potrebe za uslugom javne govorne komunikacije, razvijena je kod nas i u svijetu javna telefonska mreža. Periodički osvrt na učestalost i načine kvarenja pojedinih dijelova samog uređenja navodi na zaključke o prirodi kvarova i opsegu poslova za njihovo otklanjanje. Brzo otkrivanje problema i razloga kvarenja upućuje na razmišljanje o problematici predodržavanja i zalihosti modula za popravak.

Budući da se nalazi pred prometnim kolapsom, grad Zagreb hitno mora pronaći odgovarajuće rješenje za smanjenje gužvi, buke i onečišćenja okoliša, a u tom slučaju željeznica je svakako najprihvatljivija. Izgradnjom željezničkih prstenova oko Zagreba i tunela kroz Medvednicu, a potom i podzemne željeznice trajno bi se ukinule gužve na gradskim prometnicama što bi dovelo do povećanja kakvoće življenja svih građana našega glavoga grada.

Who can endanger the security of other people according to the Law concerning the protection of people with mental problems? The question arises if we ourselves contribute to the repeating of criminal deed if we do not pay enough attention to it, considering the understanding of its psychopathology and treatment planning. This paper describes a patient suffering from alcoholism with mental, somatic and social complications. The reason for choosing this case was its educational value, due to the repetition of criminal deed of murder with complicated psychodynamic explanation. In the evening hours, in the yard building where they had previously met and made love, after a short argument and the refusal of sex, perpetrator grabbed the victim from behind and squeezed her neck until she fell on the floor. After that, he went to an acquaintance of his, where he burned her money and her documents at the haystack and then, went home to have some sleep. In the evening hours, 13 years before that, he struck the neighbour of his with whom he had been emotionally involved with a plank, after she had declined his proposition of sex. He had taken her to the yard building, raped her and then put the old paper and other garbage over her and set fire to her. Afterwards, he went home to sleep. He awoke the same night to respond to the sound of fire alarm and went to help put out the fire, because he had been a member of the amateur fire brigade. The patient has committed two criminal deeds of murder, which share the main characteristics: alcoholism, murder of female person who had rejected hum, time and place of the deed, setting fire as an expression of destructiveness, i.e. desire to completely destroy the object of hatred. In both cases, there is a low level of alcohol intoxication present, as well as the "total recall" and going home to sleep after the murder has been committed. In the analysis of the cases, the need arises to provide a psychodynamic explanation, because otherwise the deed remains "strange". The client is characterized with an ambivalent attitude towards the opposite sex. He sees the rejection by the person he "loves" as a severe narcissistic insult and reacts with an outburst of aggressiveness. In the incriminated deeds, he repeats the auto-destructive and destructive urges as the only response mechanism he knows, with the features of a ritual. He destroys "everything around him" and the alcoholism represents a constellation factor, which de-blocks already weakened control and self-control.

Projekt CRORIS će sadržavati dvije faze. U prvoj fazi komparativnom metodom su postignuta tri cilja. Prvi cilj je deskripcija strukture i ponašanja podataka i informacija u sustavu. Drugi cilj je klasifikacija novih spoznatih podataka za nacionalnu i međudržavnu razmjenu podataka. I treći cilj je praćenje evolucije metodom uzoraka, pričemu se pravi razlika između reprezentativnog i sadržavajućeg skupa podataka. U drugoj fazi slijedi instalacija RIS-a na našem dijelu Dunava, a i na Dravi. Modelom informacijskih servisa postignut je metodski postupak kao konkretan cilj da što točnije i potpunije funkcionira ovaj sustav u transportnom lancu duž Dunava.

U članku se prikazuje utjecaj elektromagnetskih, a posebno neionizirajućih zračenja na žive organizme, naročito na ljude. Rad prezentira utjecaj mikrovalnog zračenja što ga proizvodi prometni radar na policajce prilikom određivanja brzine vozila.

U posljednjih nekoliko godina došlo je do rapidnog povećanja multimedijskog prometa u računalnim komunikacijskim mrežama. Nove primjene komunikacijskih mreža postavile su nove, velike zahtjeve na mreže, zbog potrebe da se korisnicima osigura kvalitetna usluga prijenosa multimedijskih sadržaja. Kao odgovor na takve zahtjeve razvijeni su brojni mehanizmi koji osiguravaju uslugu dodjele prioriteta prometu u komunikacijskim mrežama, kojom se postiže mogućnost određivanja kvalitete usluge koja je neophodna za pojedine mrežne aplikacije.

U suvremenim tehničko-tehnološkim sustavima tehnologija prijenosa informacija ima vrlo važnu ulogu.

The aim of this study was to examine the differences among the not-accountable perpetrators of criminal acts who had occasionally abused alcohol and those who had not abused alcohol during their forensic-psychiatric treatment, considering the following variables: marital status, education, diagnostic category, type of criminal act and alcohol intoxication and age tempore criminis. We have applied the comparative design of investigation, in which the data considering the alcohol abuse among the not-accountable perpetrators of criminal acts treated at Dr. Ivan Barbot Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Popovača, in the period from 2000-2004, had been gathered by means of patients follow-up and questionnaire. The sample consisted of 142 forensic patients who had occasionally abused alcohol and 188 forensic patients who had not abused alcohol during their treatment. The groups have been matched according to sex (male), age at the time of investigation and the duration of treatment. Razvojem bežičnih komunikacijskih tehnologija omogućena je primjena nekoliko sustava za prijenos podataka u kojima korisnik može biti mobilan. U radu je dana analiza bežičnih lokalnih mreža u funkciji operatera prometnih sustava. Postoje dvije topologije bežičnih LAN - ova: neovisna i infrastrukturna. Neovisna topologija podržava povezivanje stanica na načelu ravnopravnosti pri čemu pokrenuti čvorovi komuniciraju jedni s drugima koristeći bežične dadptere. U infrastrukturnom LAN - u moguće je primijeniti centralizirani ili decentralizirani višestruki pristup. Bežične LAN - ove WLAN možemo podijeliti u tri skupine: infracrveni ( IR - Infrared ), LAN - ovi s proširenim spektrom ( SS - Spread Spectrum ) i radio LAN. Za bežični LAN od komponenata se koriste: mrežne kartice, AP ( Access Point ) i antenski sustavi. Snaga EM zračenja opada s udaljenošću od odašiljača. Gubitak snage uslijed prostiranja slijedi približno eksponencijalni zakon. Primjenom bežičnih mreža moguće je jednostavnije povezati udaljene prometne objekte, ali i ponuditi nove usluge sudionicima u prometnom procesu. Uvođenjem novih bežičnih komunikacijskih tehnologija ističe se i problem onečišćenja okoliša elektromagnetskim zračenjima različitih izvora, nazvanog elektrosmog.
