The corrosion problem of the tank floor of the oil depot tank area becomes more and more serious with the extension of the operation time. At present, how to determine the potential distribution of the storage tank floor and how to judge the cathodic protection effect of the storage tank floor is the bottleneck of technological development. In this paper, by constructing a mathematical model of cathodic protection in the tank area, influence of deep well anode on potential distribution of tank bottom is calculated by boundary element method (BEM) with computer programming, to study the potential distribution of the tank floor under different anode parameters. The results show that the calculated results are in good agreement with the field measured results, which verifies the accuracy and reliability of the calculation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article analyses influencing factors of pollution degree of oil spills on the sea surface and establishes corresponding evaluation system, thus combines fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and analytic hierarchy process to evaluate pollution degree of oil spill accidents in the Bohai Sea. Based on the evaluation system, oil spill accidents in Penglai 19-3 oilfield and Suizhong 36-1 oilfield central platform are classified as serious pollution and light pollution respectively, which is consistent with relevant institutions and scholars, proving the rationality of the evaluation system and parameter selected.

With the widespread application of CO2-Enhanced Oilfield Recovery (CO2-EOR) technology, CO2 in large quantities enters oil and gas gathering pipelines and causes severe corrosion. As a result, this paper investigates the corrosion behaviour of 20# steel in produced water and 40% water content emulsion with different CO2 contents by combining Wire Beam Electrode (WBE) technology and the corrosion weight loss method, and establishes a corrosion mechanism model for analysis and explanation. The results demonstrate that variations in CO2 concentration have a greater impact on the corrosion process in the produced water simulated fluid, and there is considerable corrosion non-uniformity in the CO2 saturated state, as well as polarity reversal throughout the whole corrosion process. On the contrary, corrosion in the emulsion is more stable and uniform because the crude oil in the emulsion obstructs the mass transfer process of the depolariser agent and forms a 'surface wetting' effect on the metal surface, which seriously hinders the corrosion process. The maglev flight tunnel is a novel conceptual aerodynamics test facility, in which the complicated aerodynamic characteristics caused by the high-speed translation of a moving model in a long, straight, closed tunnel, and wave propagation and aero-structure single-way coupling problems can be investigated. The unsteady characteristics originating from a high-speed model in the maglev flight tunnel were investigated and evaluated with regard to aero–structure coupling. The new conservation element and solution element method was used to solve the 3-D compressible fluid surrounding a moving model in a tunnel, and the variations in the aerodynamic parameters, wave propagation characteristics, and pressure distribution in the tunnel were obtained.
