Objectives Extraperitoneal laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (eLRP) is one of minimally invasive surgical treatment modalities of prostate cancer (PCa). We here evaluated our clinical data on eLRP with 3 trocars. Materials and Methods All consecutive patients undergoing eLRP in similar surgical procedures by two different surgeons (Y.A. & R.L.M.) between 2017 and 2018 at two different centres were included. Various clinical data including patients’ demographics, intraoperative and postoperative data, complications, and follow-up were recorded and analysed. We are presenting a video of one such case of eLRP with simultaneously right inguinal hernia repair with using 3 trocars. Surgeons in different clinics performed similar modified surgical technique (Heilbronn technique) (1) for eLRP with 3 trocars. Results There were 28 cases in total (10 cases in Clinic 1 and 18 cases in Clinic 2). Mean follow-up was 8±0.4 months. Mean age was 69±3.2 years old. Mean prostate specific antigen was 8.8±1.2ng/dl. Mean operating time was 128±20.2 min. Mean estimated blood loss was 195±87.5 ml. Mean hospitalization day was 2.8±1 days. Mean catheter removal day was 8.8±3.6 days. Surgical margin was negative for all cases with 3 complications (Clavien 2) without major complications. Conclusions The first advantage of this technique is using just one assistant holding laparoscopic optic. Second one is to have similar results with traditional eLRP with fewer trocars. Indirectly, more cosmesis is third one, as our approach seems more minimally invasive than traditional eLRP. eLRP with simultaneously hernia repair is feasible, safe, and effective with using just 3 trocars in selected cases.

Materials and Methods: The data of 32 patients who underwent TOT(Promedon®) or SIMS (Ophira®) operations related to SUI between January 2010 August 2012 were retrospectively evaluated. The sample divided in two groups according to the operation type. The demographical features, preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative data were analysed and compared between two groups to evaluate the efficacy of the operations in SUI. All patients were assessed with a detailed history, physcical examination, cough test, Q-tip test, ultrasonography, postvoiding residual measurement, cystometry and UDI-6, IIQ-7 questionares. Postoperatively, the patients without any incontinence on cough test or sistometry were defined as the success. Results: The parameters of age, menapousal status, number of vaginal delivery, and body mass index were similar in two groups. The mean operation time was significantly shorter in SIMS group (16±3 vs 27±5, p 0.05). Postoperative UDI-6 and IIQ-7 scores were 3.5 ± 3.4 vs 3.8 ± 4.8 and 4.4 ± 4.2 vs 5.1 ± 5,6 respectively, and they were similar (p>0.05 in both). In addition, the improvement in these scores were not statistically significant between two groups (p>0.05 in both). It is not always possible to replace a ureteric stent with a new one due to the fact that tumoral effect increases in ureter with time. We present our experience of manual replacement of double J stent without fluoroscopy. The data from 23 female patients who underwent double J stent replacement with a total of 110 times was retrospectively analyzed. The steps of technique are as follows: take out distal end of the double J stent through urethra to external urethral meatus cystoscopically, insert a 0.035-inch guide wire through double J stent to the renal pelvis or intra pelvicaliceal system, take out old double J stent over guide wire, slide new stent over guide wire and at external meatus level take out guide wire while gently sliding distal end of double J stent over guide wire into urethra. The mean age was 58.39 ± 9.21 years. Cervical, endometrial, and ovarian cancer were diagnosed in 16, 4, and 3 patients respectively. The mean follow-up and indwelling period were 13.8 ± 5.2, 3.8 ± 0.6 months, respectively. Increased pelvicaliceal dilatation, serum creatinine level, or renal parenchymal loss was not observed. Replacement of double J stents with this technique is easy and can be used successfully in distal ureteral obstructions.

However, up the second half of the 19th century, a data or record on that mawlavi-khane has not been met. In this article, it is tried to examine the Samsun Mavlavi-khane from the second half of the 19th century to the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire.

To analyze the effect of possible risk factors, including breastfeeding, on the development of childhood-onset psoriasis, a multicenter case-control study with prospective collection of data was performed. Using a standard questionnaire, personal and specific variables including family history of psoriasis, maternal and environmental tobacco smoke exposure, body mass index (BMI), exclusive and partial breastfeeding for at least 3 and 12 months, cow's milk intake before 1 year, birth delivery method, and stressful life events were collected during 2009 from 537 patients with psoriasis and 511 controls younger than 18. Overall, patients more frequently reported exposure to environmental tobacco smoke at home and stressful life events in the year preceding the diagnosis than controls. The odds ratios (OR) for smoking and stressful life events were 2.90 (95% confidence interval [CI] = 2.27-3.78) and 2.94(95% CI = 2.28-3.79), respectively. In addition, children with psoriasis were more likely to have a higher BMI (>26) than controls (OR = 2.52; 95% CI = 1.42-4.49). High BMI, environmental tobacco smoke exposure at home, and stressful life events may influence the development of pediatric psoriasis.
