ABSTRACTIntroduction This paper summarizes the safety and immunogenicity data of Influvac Tetra across all age groups starting from 6 months of age, obtained during its clinical development program.Areas covered The article covers the clinical development program of Influvac Tetra based on five registration studies that included different age groups, different comparators, and participants from Europe and Asia. Safety and immunogenicity were assessed in all studies and in one study, the efficacy of Influvac Tetra was assessed.Expert opinion Seasonal influenza is a vaccine-preventable disease that can cause serious complications. Several types of influenza vaccines are available, including egg-based (standard dose, high dose, and adjuvanted), cell-based, and recombinant. The COVID-19 pandemic has stimulated innovation in the development such as mRNA vaccines. However, these vaccines are still in development and the true value still has to be proven. Regardless of the type of vaccine, it is also important to increase overall vaccination coverage. ECDC recommends that EU Member States implement action plans and policies aimed at reaching 75% coverage in at-risk groups and healthcare workers. Even so, vaccine coverage is still far from recommended.

Background. The study of the influence of "social" stress on biogenic elements involved in mineral metabolism and playing an important role in the life of the human body, the search for agents that have a leveling effect on their content, is an urgent problem of modern pharmacological science. Purpose. To study changes in the content of biogenic elements in the course of mineral metabolism in the blood serum of rats under conditions of "social" stress and under the influence of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi extract. Materials and methods. Experimental studies were carried out on 96 mature male non-linear rats weighing 295±12.17 g at the age of 7-9 months. The first stage of the experiment involved the study of mineral metabolism in the norm. Individuals of the first group of animals were injected with water; the second was an extract of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi (100 mg/kg/day); the third – medicinal product (MP) "Mebicar®" (25 mg/kg/day) and the fourth - MP "Phezam®" (45 mg/kg/day). At the second stage of the experiment, “social” stress was reproduced on animals, in groups of which aggressors and victims were identified after the formation of inter-male confrontations for 21 days. These individuals received the solutions used earlier (stage I) for two weeks. The content of sodium and potassium ions in plasma was determined by flame photometry; the level of total calcium - by the photometric method; the concentration of phosphorus and magnesium - by biochemical analysis; the amount of chloride ions - by mercurimetric titration. Statistical data processing was performed using the Statistica 10 package. Results. It was found that the introduction of the extract of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, MP "Mebikar®" and "Phezam®" normally does not affect the content of minerals in plasma. It has been shown that modeling of "social" stress in control animals with both dominant and submissive types of character contributes to a significant decrease in the concentration of calcium, phosphorus and magnesium ions compared with individuals of the intact group. A statistically significant difference in the content of chloride ions was proved only in the case of a group of victims. Comparable values of mineral metabolism parameters of the group that received the extract under stress conditions were obtained with the first stage of the experiment in the norm of both intact and experimental animals, as a result of which the leveling effect of the extract of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi was substantiated. Statistically significant differences in the concentration of magnesium ions in the group of victims exposed to "social" stress under the influence of the type of behavior were determined. Conclusion. The analysis of the data obtained forms an idea of the mineral composition of blood plasma in normal conditions and under conditions of "social" stress. The results of the study characterize the extract of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi as a remedy that has a leveling effect in conditions of anxiety-depressive state caused by inter-male confrontations.

Abstract In 2024 the Low Impact Development Devices (LID) open-source international database ClimateScan consist of over 14.000 climate adaption related projects uploaded in the period of 2014–2024. For cities with over 500 projects, this offers an opportunity to construct a LID-DNA of the city. LID-DNA presents the ‘genetic information of the development and functioning of LID in a city’ and was first used in The Netherlands during ClimateCafés as evaluation for future design and maintenance of stormwater management strategies. The LID-DNA of several cities based on the quantity and categories of LID is visualized. The LID structure of early adaptor Amsterdam with over 500 LID measures implemented in 2000–2024, shows a large variety of over 20 types of individual LID. The relative new adaptor Riga shows a LID-DNA with a focus on bio-filtration with raingardens and swales (based on 40 data points). Stakeholders from different departments concluded that cities benefit from the insights of their urban LID-DNA earlier in the process. An early insight will support a targeted LID strategy choosing a limited cost-efficient group of LID than having a wide range of different LID without evaluation of their efficiency. Departments in the city asked for more detailed insights (earlier in the process) to prevent mal-adaptation and disinvestments and be more efficient with their capacity. The ClimateScan database holds over 300 monitored LID projects with research results in North America and Europe in cities as Vancouver, New Orleans, Amsterdam and Riga. Future work will focus on more detailed LID-DNA visualisation based on not only the amount of LID but on the dimensions such as water storage (m3) and surface (m2). Monitoring of LID will be stimulated to make strategic decisions on measured infiltration rates (m/d) of LID as most important criteria for possible damage by floodings and maintenance (clogging). Raising awareness and capacity building targeted on the high-ranking cost-efficient LID is set up in both cities focused on the design, construction and maintenance of LID.

Мета. Поліпшення генофонду культурної форми баклажана (Solanum melongena L.) завдяки міжвидовій гібридизації з видом Solanum aethiopicum L. та гаметній селекції; аналіз ліній міжвидового походження за комплексом кількісних цінних ознак, які визначають структуру врожайності. Методи. Дослідження з комплексного оцінювання ліній баклажана міжвидового походження здійснювали протягом 2021–2023 рр. в умовах захищеного ґрунту на експериментальній базі Інституту овочівництва і баштанництва НААН. Проведено фенологічні спостереження та біометричні вимірювання рослин чотирьох ліній. Стабільність прояву семи кількісних ознак за роками досліджень визначали методами варіаційної статистики (розрахунок середнього квадратичного відхилення (σ), коефіцієнта варіації (V), парної лінійної кореляції Пірсона (rp)). Результати. За результатами аналізу визначено лінії баклажана міжвидового походження, що переважали сорт-стандарт ‘Алмаз’ за рівнем і стабільністю прояву кількісних ознак. Так, F6(Павлотас-20 / с. ‘Алмаз’)I1 та ВС1[F5(Павлотас-20 / с. ‘Алмаз’)]I1 статистично достовірно перевищували сорт-стандарт за шириною плоду (на 16,48 і 14,85% відповідно); водночас лінія ВС2[F5(Павлотас-20 / с. ‘Алмаз’)]I1 переважала його за продуктивністю (на 18,11%). За даними кореляційного аналізу, ознака «продуктивність однієї рослини» мала сильний позитивний зв'язок з ознакою «кількість плодів на одній рослині» (rp = 0,75) та сильний негативний із «середньою шириною плоду» (rp = -0,70) та «тривалістю періоду від масових сходів до технічної стиглості плодів» (rp = -0,72). Виділено лінію ВС2[F5(Павлотас-20 / с. ‘Алмаз’)]I1, в якої період від масових сходів до технічної стиглості плодів тривав на чотири доби менше, як порівняти із сортом-стандартом. Висновки. За комплексом кількісних ознак виділено лінію ВС2[F5(Павлотас-20 / с. ‘Алмаз’)]I1, яка проходила додатковий етап гаметофітного добору, завдяки чому мала високий адаптивний потенціал до умов вирощування.

The purpose of the research is to identify the features of organizing students' independent work, to study the psychological component of this process. The study used a questionnaire for the subjective assessment of the organization of students' independent work and valid psychodiagnostic methods for diagnosing personality characteristics of attitudes towards innovation. The study involved 52 students and 46 teachers from universities in Russia and Bulgaria. It was found that a teacher plays a leading role in organizing the independent work of students, so he/she must be able to quickly and effectively manage this process. There is a need for experience exchange, interaction of teachers within the framework of international conferences and foreign internships to improve the educational process. The study identified insufficient technological and psychological readiness of students and teachers to change the educational process associated with an orientation towards independent work; a low level of creativity of teachers has been found. Internal motivation for innovations in the educational process among students is higher than among teachers, which indicates the dissatisfaction of the former and the inertia of the latter. Among the forms of independent work, routine formal methods predominate, and the indicators of research work are extremely low, which correlates with the data of scientific literature about the prestige of pursuing science among students.

У статті на підставі аналізу доктринальних до­сліджень вітчизняних вчених з’ясовано поняття та зміст громадського контролю в науковій пло­щині. Наголошено на відсутності законодавчого визначення окресленого поняття, незважаючи на значний суспільний інтерес до громадського контролю як суспільного явища. Встановлено, що попри недосконалість за­конодавчого врегулювання, громадський кон­троль залишається важливим механізмом вза­ємодії між громадськістю і органами державної влади, є важливим компонентом демократич­ного публічного управління та сприяє побудові відкритого та відповідального суспільства. Акцентовано увагу на важливості досліджен­ня взаємовідносин громадянського суспільства із органами судової влади. Окреслено поняття громадського контролю за судовою системою в Україні та його сутність, а також встановлено способи участі громадськості у здійсненні контр­олю за діяльністю судової гілки влади. Окремо наголошено на тому, що громадський контроль в судовій системі виступає однією з ключових форм сприяння реалізації та захисту прав люди­ни і громадянина. Надано оцінку впливу громадського контро­лю в судовій системі на реалізацію громадянами їхніх прав і свобод. Зокрема, констатовано, що першочергово громадський контроль за судо­вою системою сприяє забезпеченню права гро­мадян на справедливий судовий процес. Крім того, висвітлено і сприяння громадського контр­олю ствердженню права людини та громадяни­на на доступ до правосуддя, права на свободу висловлювання та доступ до публічної інфор­мації. Звернено увагу і на участь громадського контролю у виявленні та вирішенні можливих корупційних проявів, а також проявів бюрокра­тії у судовій системі. З урахуванням означеного, зміцнення ме­ханізмів громадського контролю сприятиме підвищенню прозорості та підзвітності судо­вої влади, що, зокрема забезпечить громадя­нам доступ до справедливого правосуддя та сприятиме захисту їхніх прав і свобод. Запро­поновано можливість впровадження сучасних інструментів контролю, таких як онлайн-трансляції судових засідань, що не потребують по­переднього дозволу у головуючого у справі. Публічний доступ необхідно надати не лише до судових рішень, а й щодо інформації про причини перенесення та відкладення судових засідань, що допоможе залучити громадян до процесу прийняття рішень та підвищить рівень довіри до судової системи, а також сприятиме забезпеченню верховенства права та забезпе­ченню прав людини в Україні.
