The purpose of this paper is to construct the framework for capturing the meanings of social movements in developing countries from the grass root actor’s point of view. The paper starts with reviewing ‘endogenous development theory’ which has made efforts to get insight about social change from local people’s point of view. It shares common interest with theories of social movement in the sense that both put emphasis on the initiatives of people in the process of social transformation. However, in both theories, the observers tend to apply the premised framework of ethnicity or social class from structural functionalist views, and lack the insight to the subjective realities of people. To overcome this limitation, this paper discusses the theories by Melucci Alberto, who introduced the constructivist view to the analysis of collective behavior. Melucci suggested to capture the multiple meanings of the movement by focusing on individual actors and their processes of interaction. In the later part of the paper, methodological framework is also discussed. This paper suggest employing ‘phenomenological sociology’ to avoid the observer’s assumption, and using ‘life story’ as a tool to capture the meanings of the movement from actor’s perspective.

A simulation method for full helicopter configuration is constructed by combining an unsteady Euler code and an aeroacoustic code based on the Ffowcs-Williams and Hawkings formulation. The flow field and helicopter noise are calculated using a moving overlapped grid system, and the mutual effect of main rotor and tail rotor are studied for the helicopter in hover or forward flight. In the hovering flight calculation, the tip vortex of the tail rotor is dragged by the induced flow of the main rotor, and the detailed phenomena of the flow pattern are captured well. In a forward-flight calculation, noises from the main rotor and tail rotor are predicted to understand the tail rotor noise for both self noise and the interaction noise with the main-rotor wake. 日本飛行機において研究中のプロペラ無人機への適用を検討している250ccレシプロエンジンに木製プロペラを装着し、風洞内で運転させて、プロペラ推力、エンジン回転数、燃費などのデータを取得した。プロペラ直径は約0.7mで、低速飛行用の低ピッチ・プロペラと高速飛行用の高ピッチ・プロペラの2種類を用意した。風洞は川崎重工2.5m低速風速を使用し、試験最大風速60m/sまでデータを取得した。結果としてプロペラ径をやや大きめにしていたことから、最大出力まで回転数を上げることはできなかったが、エンジン性能は公称値通り得られる見通しを得た。, 資料番号: AA0063897003, レポート番号: JAXA-SP-07-019

In the present study, CFD study was performed for 4 bladed rotor in BVI condition in order to validate its predictable ability. The computation was chosen for the corresponding BVI test case which has been performed in the previous wind tunnel test that has been conducted under collaborative research with NAL and MHI in May, 2002. The wind tunnel test was performed with free stream velocity and the rotor angle of attack being the primary parameters. The blade pitch was cyclically controlled to achieve desired thrust amount. As output from the test, measured are rotor six-component force, near leading edge pressure data and sound pressure history at fixed observation. This paper presents rotor aerodynamic analysis including influence of a fuselage using an unsteady Euler code. A moving overlapped grid method is applied in the code and four types of grid, inner and outer background grids, blade grid, and fuselage grid are used to accurately simulate the rotor-fuselage interaction. This paper shows the results of the elementary wind tunnel test of blade active control using a 1-bladed model rotor at the 2.5 m x 2.5 m multi-purpose wind tunnel in Kawada Industry. In this test, the effects of higher harmonic control (HHC) and active flap control (AFC) on rotor blade-vortex interaction (BVI) noise were investigated. The frequency of the control was 20 Hz (2/rev), and the amplitudes of HHC and AFC were +/- 2.0 deg and +/- 15.0 deg, respectively. The phase of control was changed at intervals of 45 deg. Two types of BVI were tested. The one is the parallel vortex interaction using the vortex generator upstream of a non-lifting rotor. The other is self-generated vortex interaction of a lifting rotor. The calculations are conducted using a prediction system of rotor noise jointly developed by ATIC and NAL. As a result of the comparison, the prediction method reasonably predicts the aerodynamic and acoustic characteristics of the model rotor. For the improvement of the accuracy of BVI (Blade Vortex Interaction) noise prediction, further investigation about the wake geometry will be needed. In the ATIC research program, the second model rotor test will be conducted at DNW in the beginning of 2000. 航空宇宙技術研究所 12-13 Jun. 1997 東京 日本, National Aerospace Laboratory 12-13 Jun. 1997 Tokyo Japan, 揚力線理論に基づく空力コードとCFD(数値流体力学)コード間の反復結合法を開発し、ヘリコプタロータの空力解析に適用した。本手法では、空力として包括的積分ロータコードCAMRAD2(Comprehensive Analytical Model of Rotorcraft Aerodynamics and Dynamics)を、CFDコードとして非定常オイラーコードを、それぞれ用いる。本手法を適用して、高速前進飛行および降下飛行条件下のロータ空力特性を計算した。高速前進飛行の場合、計算した翼面圧力分布は実験データと良く一致した。この場合について、矩形翼端形状のみならず、単純化修正翼端形状についても解析した。結合法は、修正翼端形状の計算に必要であることが示された。降下飛行の場合、本手法を必要とすることも示した。さらに、BVI(翼渦干渉)騒音音圧を計算した。結合法は、降下飛行の場合におけるBVI騒音の予測に必ずしも必要ではないことが示唆された。, An iterative coupling method between an aerodynamic code based on the lifting-line theory and a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) code is developed and applied to the aerodynamic analysis of helicopter rotor. In this method, a comprehensive integral rotor code, CAMRAD 2 (Comprehensive Analytical Model of Rotorcraft Aerodynamics and Dynamics), and an unsteady Euler code are used as the aerodynamic and the CFD code respectively. This method is applied to the calculation of rotor aerodynamics in a high-speed forward flight condition and a descending flight condition. The calculated pressure distributions on the blade surface are in good agreement with experimental data in the high-speed forward flight case. In this case, analyses are conducted not only for a rectangular tip shape but also for simply modified tip shapes. It is indicated that the coupling method is required for the calculation of modified tip shapes. In the descending flight case, it is also shown that the present method is required. In addition, the acoustic pressure of Blade-Vortex Interaction (BVI) noise is calculated. This method consists of following four steps: (1) trim analysis using CAMRAD2 based on the lifting line theory; (2) interpolation of blade motion and the wake geometry; (3) aerodynamic analysis using a finite difference solver for the three-dimensional unsteady Euler equations; and (4) noise analysis using an aeroacoustic code based on the Ffowcs Williams and Hawkings (FW-H) formulation without the quadrupole term. The predicted acoustic waveform for the OLS model rotor is compared with experimental data and reasonable correlation is obtained. This method is applied to investigate the effect of the tip shape on the intensity of the BVI noise. For the first step, the effects of anhedral, dihedral, swept and tapered tip shapes are discussed. 航空宇宙技術研究所 7-9 Jun. 1995 東京 日本, National Aerospace Laboratory 7-9 Jun. 1995 Tokyo Japan, ヘリコプタロータの高速衝撃騒音への翼端平面、翼形、2面および単面の影響を調べた。拡張Kirchhoff方程式組込みCFD手法を用いてロータの騒音圧を推定した。本手法ではEuler方程式を解いてロータ翼周りの流れ場を求める。移動面への適用拡張Kirchhoff方程式を用いて、全音源を包含するKirchhoff表面上でEuler方程式を解くことにより、1観測点での騒音圧を推定する。第1段階での計算は定高度ホバリングの飛行条件で実行した。計算の結果、翼端平面の修正はロータ騒音のピーク音圧レベルを顕著に引き下げること、それは40度の後退角、ロータ半径90%でのテーパ比が0.333のロータ翼でピーク値の70%カットを示した。また、翼端厚みの修正もピーク音圧レベルを引き下げること、それはロータ外径10%での厚みを12%から6%へ直線方向に変えることで、45%のピーク値カットを示した。結論として、ロータ翼端の平面形状と厚みの最適な組合せは低騒音ロータの設計を可能にすることを示唆した。, The effect of blade tip platform, airfoil, dihedral and anhedral on High-Speed Impulsive (HSI) noise of a helicopter rotor are investigated. A combined method of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) with an extended Kirchhoff's equation is used to estimate the acoustic pressure of the rotor noise. The method solves Euler equations to obtain the flow field around a rotor blade. The Kirchhoff's equation extended to a moving surface is then used to estimate the acoustic pressure at an observer position by using the Euler solutions on the Kirchhoff surface in which all the acoustic sources are enclosed. Calculations are performed under the condition of non-lifting hover as the first stage of the study. The calculated results show that the modification of blade tip platform remarkably reduces the absolute value of the negative peak pressure of the rotor noise. It is indicated that the blade with the sweepback angle of 40 degree and the taper ratio of 0.333 from 90 percent rotor radius leads to the reduction of the peak pressure by about 70 percent. The calculated results also show that the modification of blade tip thickness reduces the absolute value of the negative peak pressure of the rotor noise. It is indicated that the blade with the thickness varying linearly from 12 percent to 6 percent in the outer 10 percent radial region leads to the reduction of the peak pressure by about 45 percent. 航空宇宙技術研究所では、ヘリコプタが緩降下飛行中に発生するBVI(Blade-Vortex Interaction:ブレード／渦干渉)騒音に対し、ロータ・ブレードをアクティブに制御することで騒音源となるBVIを弱め騒音を低減する技術の研究を進めている。その一環として、川田工業株式会社の多目的風洞航空用計測部(幅2.5m×高さ2.5m)において、1枚ブレードを有する回転半径1mのモデル・ロータを用い、HHC(Higher Harmonic Control:高調波制御)およびAFC(Active Flap Control:アクティブ・フラップ制御)によるBVI騒音低減効果について基礎的な試験を行った。BVI条件として、風洞吹き出し口に設置した渦発生翼から放出される渦とブレードの平行干渉(強制BVI)と、ロータ・ブレード自身が発生する渦との干渉(自身BVI)の2つの条件について試験を行った。前者ではHHC、後者ではHHCとAFCの両方について、ロータ騒音およびブレード翼端前縁部の圧力変動を計測し、騒音低減効果を確認した。試験におけるHHCおよびAFCの駆動周波数は2/rev.(20Hz)で行い、振幅はHHCが±2.0度、AFCは±15.0度とした。さらに、位相を45度間隔で1周分変化させた。試験結果から幾つかのケースについてBVI騒音の低減効果が認められた。, This paper shows the results of a fundamental wind tunnel test of an active blade control using a single-blade model rotor at the 2.5 m x 2.5 m multi-purpose wind tunnel at Kawada Industries.
