The Siberian Circular Light Source is a new medium-energy high brightness synchrotron light facility that is under construction on the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics (BINP) in Russia, Novosibirsk. The accelerator facility is divided for convenience into three components; a 3 GeV storage ring, a full-energy booster synchrotron, and a 200 MeV injector linac with a thermionic gridded RF gun electron source. This paper reports on the design features and construction progress of the three RF systems for the NICA collider being built at JINR, Dubna. Each of the two collider rings has three RF systems named RF1 to 3. RF1 is a barrier bucket system used for particles capturing and accumulation during injection, RF2 and 3 are resonant systems operating at 22nd and 66th harmonics of the revolution frequency and used for the 22 bunches formation. The RF systems are designed and produced by Budker INP. Solid state RF power amplifiers developed by the Triada-TV company, Novosibirsk, are used for driving the RF2 and three cavities. Two RF1 stations were already delivered to JINR, the prototypes of the RF2 and 3 stations were built and successfully tested at BINP. Series production of all eight RF2 and sixteen RF3 stations is in progress. VEPP-5 Injection Complex (IC) supplies VEPP-2000 and VEPP-4 colliders at Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics (BINP, Russia) with high energy electron and positron beams. Since 2016 the IC has shown the ability to support operation of both colliders routinely with maximum positron storage rate of 1.7·10¹⁰ e+/s. Stable operation at the energy of 430 MeV has been reached. Research on further improvements on the IC performance is carried out. In particular control system was improved, additional beam diagnostics systems were developed, monitoring of RF system was upgraded. Continuous wave (CW) 100 mA electron rf gun for injecting the high-quality 300-400 keV electron beam in Novosibirsk Energy Recovery Linac (ERL) and driving Free Electron Laser (FEL) was developed, built, and commissioned at BINP SB RAS. The RF gun consists of normal conducting 90 MHz rf cavity with a gridded thermionic cathode unit. Bench tests of rf gun is confirmed good results in strict accordance with our numerical calculations and showed reliable work, unpretentious for vacuum conditions and stable in long-term operation. The design features of different components of the rf gun are presented. Preparation and commissioning experience is discussed. VEPP-5 Injection Complex (IC) is designed to supply BINP RAS colliders with high energy electron and positron beams. Recently constructed K-500 beam transfer line connects IC to both VEPP-4M and VEPP-2000 colliders. IC two collider operation was successfully performed in 2016. Nowadays, research on improvement of IC productivity is carried out, in particular 10.94 MHz RF cavity instead of 700 MHz one was installed and a new electron gun installation is expected to be this summer. Moreover, longitudinal beam profile measurements in IC damping ring using a streak-camera were carried out. The first project of the four turn ERL for Novosibirsk FELs (NovoFEL) was proposed at FEL'90 Conference. Later the project was modified, but the base lines kept: a four turn normal conductance linac with energy recovery, low RF cavities (180 MHz), grid controlled DC gun (Q~1 nC, tau=1 nsec, f rep = 10 kHz-50 MHz). The ERL can operate in the three modes, providing an electron beam for the three different FELs (from 300 µm up to 5 µm). Construction and commissioning four track ERL was divided on three stage: the first stage NovoFEL working in spectral range (90-240) µm, based on one track energy recovery linac (ERL) with energy 12 MeV and current 30 mA, was commissioned in 2003. The second stage of NovoFEL working in spectral range (35-80) µm, based on two track energy recovery linac with energy 22 MeV and current 7 mA, was commissioned in 2009. The VEPP-5 injection complex serves to obtain high-intensity electron and positron bunches for injection into colliders of the Institute of Nuclear Physics SB RAS. The old RF System operated at 700 MHz - the 64-the harmonic of the revolution frequency. Due to the large beam length from LINAC up to 70% of the particles were lost during injection. Therefore, in 2015, the decision was made to install into the ring the new RF cavity operated at the first harmonic of the ring revolution frequency of 10.94 MHz. To reduce the geometric dimensions, ferrites were used in the cavity. The RF cavity was manufactured, an RF power amplifier and a new RF control system were prepared. After testing the RF system at the stand, in August 2017 the RF cavity was installed instead of the former 700 MHz cavity. The new RF system is now in operation since September 2017. The paper presents main features of the cavity design and fabrication. High-power free electron laser (FEL) facility NovoFEL has been created at Budker INP. Its wavelength can be tuned over a wide range in terahertz and infrared spectrum regions. As a source of electron bunches this FEL uses multi-turn energy recovery linac which has five straight sections. Three sections are used for three FELs which operate in different wavelength ranges (the first one - 90-240 microns, the second - 37-80 microns and the third - 5-20 microns). The first and the second FELs were commissioned in 2003 and 2009 respectively. They operate for users now. The third FEL is installed on forth accelerator track which is the last one and electron energy is maximal here. It comprises three undulator sections and 40 m optical cavity. The first lasing of this FEL was obtained in summer, 2015. The radiation wavelength was 9 microns and average power was about 100 watts. The designed power is 1 kilowatt at repetition rate 3.75 MHz. Radiation of third FEL has been delivered to user stations recently. VEPP-4 and VEPP-2000 e⁺e⁻ colliders are switching to feed from VEPP-5 Injection Complex via newly constructed K-500 beam transfer line. Since first operation of K-500 at the end of 2015 injection complex delivered e⁺ and e⁻ beams to VEPP-2000 facility and is getting ready to work with VEPP-4. Upgraded injection chain demonstrated ability to provide design luminosity toVEPP-2000 and techniques of reliable operation are now under development. The Novosibirsk FEL facility has three FELs, installed on the first, second and fourth orbits of the ERL. The first FEL covers the wavelength range of 90 - 240 mkm at an average radiation power of up to 0.5 kW with a pulse repetition rate of 5.6 or 11.2 MHz and a peak power of up to 1 MW. The second FEL operates in the range of 40 - 80 mkm at an average radiation power of up to 0.5 kW with a pulse repetition rate of 7.5 MHz and a peak power of about 1 MW. These two FELs are the world's most powerful (in terms of average power) sources of coherent narrow-band (less than 1%) radiation in their wavelength ranges. The third FEL was commissioned in 2015 to cover the wavelength range of 5 - 20 mkm. The Novosibirsk ERL is the first and the only multiturn ERL in the world. Its peculiar features include the normal-conductive 180 MHz accelerating system, the DC electron gun with the grid thermionic cathode, three operation modes of the magnetic system, and a rather compact (6×40 m2) design. Novosibirsk FEL facility is based on the first in the world multi-turn energy recovery linac (ERL). It comprises three FELs (stages). FELs on the first and the second tracks were commissioned in 2004 and 2009 respectively and operate for users now. The third stage FEL is installed on the fourth track of the ERL. It includes three undulator sections and 40-meters-long optical cavity. The design tuning range of this FEL is from 5 to 20 microns and the design average power at bunch repetition rate 3.74 MHz is about 1 kW.
