- Abstract
The growing importance of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) extends to chemical research. The need for computational access to and reuse of research data for the prediction of chemical products and retrosynthetic routes is increasing rapidly. In this Thieme WebCheminar, chaired by Dr. Guido Koch (Amphilix, Switzerland), our speakers will talk about challenges for researchers in accessing data, tangible benefits for practicing chemists in predicting synthetic routes and the mind shift required for the application of new digital technologies for discovery of new active ingredients in industry.
