E-learning has become an emerging approach to delivering knowledge and information to students. It presents significant challenges to sharing and understanding learners' knowledge, inquiries, interest, and needs. Educational organizations are expected to apply the appropriate practice to address knowledge-sharing challenges in the e-learning environment. In this study, through a systematic literature review, we intend to identify and synthesize knowledge-sharing challenges and practices as well as classify the most discussed challenges and practices in various contextual settings. The findings classify the knowledge-sharing challenges and practices in e-learning from four perspectives: organization, individual, knowledge and technology. This study aims to build a knowledge base to support future research and effective knowledge-sharing practices in the e-learning environment.

In a rapidly emerging world, knowledge management capabilities, including knowledge creation, acquisition, sharing, and utilization, become more critical for organizational change, growth, and competitiveness. Therefore, this article argues that organizations should consider implementing effective journal club meetings as an opportunity to acquire external knowledge, evaluate and integrate new knowledge into previous existing knowledge, and disseminate and utilize new knowledge to enhance product or service quality, innovation, and the performance of an organization. The article reviews relevant literature, proposes a framework for conducting effective journal club meetings, and aligns those activities with the knowledge management processes. The article proposes a framework for conducting effective journal club meetings and a process that integrates both journal club activities and the knowledge management process. By adopting this framework, journal club activities would be more effective in developing new knowledge management capabilities among individual members and enhancing organizational performance, i.e., implementing evidence-based practices (EBP), improving service quality, and producing research.

Social network sites, most notably Facebook, have fundamentally transformed the way information is transferred, received, and shared by individuals and organisations. This article explores the diverse contexts in which Facebook is utilised as a knowledge-sharing instrument, along with the key challenges encountered in adopting Facebook as a knowledge-sharing instrument. It also indicates the gaps in adopting Facebook as a knowledge-sharing instrument. In a systematic literature review, 400 articles accomplishing the research objectives were identified. The findings revealed that Facebook can be used in different contexts. Greater awareness of Facebook's versatility as a platform for knowledge sharing across various domains is recommended. This article also advises that the challenges related to cost, time investment and technical expertise be addressed, and emphasises the need for education and training.

The objectives of this research are to study (i) the development of the Lusheng and its relationshipwith Rongshui culture and (ii) the knowledge management for learning arts and culture insouthern China. This research used qualitative research methods by studying documentsand collecting field data through surveys, interviews, observations, group discussions, and workshops. The data was collected from a group of 18 people. The analysis was based on the objectives, and the results were presented in a descriptive-analytical manner. The research results indicated that: (i) Lusheng is an ancient musical instrument in the bamboo family that has spread throughout Asia, This instrument has evolved differently in difference regions. This musical instrument is closely related to the way of life of people in southern China. People use it as a show for entertainment during important festivals. They believe that the worship of ancestors and gods can protect one's life. Lusheng culture has artistic value and should be studied to be photographed for future generations. (ii) The knowledge of Rongshui Lusheng, a wind instrument made from bamboo, is a valuable musical and dance cultural heritage and deserves to be carefully studied through systematic inheritance. It was found that it is a teaching activity in educational institutions starting in primary school. Secondary and higher education learning in this study has two characteristics: Learning to produce Lusheng and practicing playing Lusheng, which must create a melody. The rhythm goes along with the related dance. In summary, this study can be used as a guideline for the conservation and inheritance of cultural heritage as well as a guideline for teaching and learning for the transmission of artistic and cultural heritage.

This study focuses on the preservation and literacy transmission of the Mor Lam Khon Kaen style by the Rattanasin Intathairat Group and presents insightful findings in three knowledge-related aspects. In terms of knowledge definition, the Mor Lam Khon Kaen performance encompasses the preservation of its distinct identity, the collaborative exchange of knowledge among performers facilitated by Mrs. Chawala, the composer, and the meticulous memorization process of Klon Lam poems. Knowledge management within the performance involves the leadership of Mrs.Chawala, who guides the ensemble to ensure authentic Mor Lam Phuen style preservation over four evolving periods. This process entails systematic storage and retrieval through Klon Lam compilation, utilizing digital platforms for dissemination, and employing collaborative learning techniques. In the literacy transmission process, the Rattanasin Intathairat Group's inclusive approach welcomes disciples, emphasizes Klon Lam memorization, and adapts the timeframe to individual progress. The study's comprehensive insights shed light on the intricate interplay of preservation, literacy transfer, and community engagement within the Mor Lam tradition.

This study aims to study the Current Conditions, Desirable Conditions, and Necessary Needs of Educational Management according to standards for Excellence of Sub -- District Non -- Formal and Informal Education Centre. And to study educational management guidelines according to the Sub -- District Non -- Formal and Informal Education Centre Standards for Excellence. There were two steps: Step 1: Study the Current Conditions, Desirable Conditions, and Needs of educational management standards of Sub -- District Non -- Formal and Informal Education Centre Standards for Excellence. The sample consisted of 40 school administrators and 328 of the heads of Sub -- District Non -- Formal and Informal Education Centre, a total of 368 attended in the academic year 2022 using Multi-stage Random Sampling. Step 2: Study the standard educational management guidelines. The informants are qualified by studying best practices from five Models of Sub -- District Non -- Formal and Informal Education Centres, two persons, totaling ten people, by specific sampling. The research instruments: 1) The Current Conditions and Desirable Conditions Questionnaire following educational management according to standards for Excellence of Sub--District Non--Formal and Informal Education Centre, a 5-level rating scale. 2) Semi-structured interview 3) The Educational Management Approach Assessment Form is a 5-level estimation scale with statistics used to analyze the data, including mean, standard deviation, priority sorting of PNI[subscript modified] data, and content analysis. The results showed that 1) the current condition as a whole and in terms of study is at a high level; Overall desirable conditions are at the highest level. One aspect is at the highest level: six are at the highest level. Considering the necessary needs, it found that the needs of educational management according to the standards. There is a need to develop all seven areas as follows Organizational Leadership, Strategic Planning, Learner and Stakeholder Focus, Knowledge Analysis and Management Measurement, Processing Management, and Personnel Focus. 2) the suggestions were seven aspects and 135 approaches as follows Workshops, Learning from other people, Brainstorming, Operating Integration, Mentoring, and Learning from successful organizations.

This paper seeks to illuminate new perspectives on the concept of crisis in globalised higher education (HE) by focusing on knowledge generated by doctoral research. Doctoral research is a significant part of research and knowledge building in HE, particularly in science, and doctoral students contribute to the research capacity and knowledge building of institutions. This source of knowledge offers alternative perspectives on crisis in HE, providing a rich source of research which is often under-consulted. Using the British Library's digital repository EThOS, a collection of around 637,000 doctoral studies carried out in British universities, the research harnesses Generative Artificial Intelligence approaches in order to analyse the ways in which crisis is defined and constructed in doctoral research since 2000. Through a pilot study using a prototype of a new AI tool, the paper offers both conceptual and methodological insights into constructions of crisis in this under-used field of research.

Nowadays, team learning and blended learning are becoming increasingly important to today's university students. Knowledge sharing (KS), as an important factor that is the bridge between learning and cooperation and communication, can affect the effectiveness of students' learning. However, current research has paid less attention to knowledge-sharing behavior (KSB) under blended team-based learning (BTBL). This paper explored the factors that influence KSB in BTBL, 322 samples were analyzed using the partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM). The results showed that team atmosphere, reciprocity, sharing attitude, and knowledge self-efficacy (KSE) had significant positive effects on KSB. Meanwhile, team learning ability (TLA) significantly negatively moderated sharing attitude and significantly positively moderated KSE.

Primary school children frequently use digital devices, which can be infected by computer viruses. In this mixed methods paper with two studies (N = 278 + 114), we examined 8-year-olds' preconceptions about computer viruses and protection against them; how to teach these children about said topics using three different, 30-min-long, content-equivalent lessons; and what knowledge the children can acquire. We found that participants had limited prior knowledge of computer viruses and almost no knowledge about protection against them. However, they rarely had misconceptions. They learnt, and retained over a month, key general points and a few specific points about this domain. Acquired knowledge was still somewhat patchy, most likely represented in 'pieces' rather than as complex, theory-like chunks. Nevertheless, all three approaches produced notable learning gains (d > 1.78). A lesson organized around a narrative 5-min video and six < 1 min video snippets was the most effective: compared to a lesson organized around two 5-min videos (d = 0.89) and a teacher-led lesson without videos (d = 0.54). The findings are consistent with contemporary instructional design theories and 'knowledge in pieces' conceptual change frameworks. They imply that the topic of computer viruses should be included in second-graders' curricula.

Health professions educators often use social media to share knowledge; however, it is unclear what specific dissemination and knowledge translation (KT) processes are occurring and the implications of this sharing for health professions education (HPE). This study explored how educators have used social media as a mechanism of dissemination and KT in the literature. A critical scoping review methodology, informed by Engeström's Activity Theory, was employed. Twelve databases were searched and studies that: (a) addressed health professions educators; (b) described the use of social media for dissemination or KT; (c) focused on a regulated health profession; (d) focused on undergraduate or graduate education; and (e) were published in English or French between 2011 and 2021 were included. Data were analyzed using numerical and qualitative content analyses. Of the 4859 articles screened, 37 were eligible for inclusion. Social media may facilitate knowledge sharing in HPE, but there is a lack of conceptual clarity on what is meant by 'dissemination' and 'KT'. Who is responsible for sharing knowledge, what knowledge is being shared, and the target audiences are not always clear. Multiple factors (e.g., affordances, opportunity costs) influence how social media is used as a mechanism of dissemination, and it remains unclear whether and how it is used as a mechanism of KT. Concepts like KT and dissemination, which are often borrowed from other disciplines, must be critically evaluated for their relevance and suitability if they are to be appropriately applied to HPE and in particular to social media. Educators looking to use social media to teach students about KT should consider whether this use of technology truly aligns with their stated learning outcomes.

Key to a new contract for education is understanding that knowledge is not scarce, it is not a commodity, and it does not belong in a market economy. Instead, knowledge exchange is gift exchange, and education, when not thwarted or constricted, demonstrates its abundance. The abundance of knowledge operates in ways similar to the abundance of nature, as described by the ecologist Robin Wall Kimmerer in her essay "The serviceberry: An economy of abundance". We can therefore draw productive parallels between education and the new agroecology, which recognizes the intertwining nature and importance of the diversity of life and the gifts that come from the synergy of that diversity. Just as monoculture farming gives way to holistic farming, monoculture learning must also give way to a paradigm shift. Helping us envision this shift are arguments made in a court case in the US brought by the Department of Justice against 23 universities, including those in the Ivy League (US v Brown, 1992 and 1993). Through ideas expressed in court in defense of admissions practices, we can see how the cooperation necessary for a new education paradigm might be constructed. This essay invites us to more fully envision this new paradigm by focusing on the key shift that happens when knowledge exchange is understood to be gift exchange.

Schools are considered knowledge-creating organisations that find it difficult to develop and implement innovations on their own. Knowledge mobilisation is seen as the key to overcoming this problem. In particular, the use of external sources of knowledge is regarded as an important lever for change. However, there is a lack of concepts and empirical studies in educational research on the extent to which external knowledge is used for innovation in schools. Based on a sample of N = 411 schools, this article explores whether the concept of open innovation can be used in the context of education. Originating from the field of innovation research, open innovation regimes are seen as imperative if organisations are to create and benefit from technology. Multinomial logistic regression analyses show that mobilising external knowledge significantly increases the likelihood of implementing innovations in schools. A machine-learning approach reveals that it is necessary to tailor open innovation regimes to the specific conditions of any given school. In particular, with regard to the use of new technologies and innovations in the field of digitalisation, open innovation can be a lever for change.

Knowledge management has been a proven tool to foster organizational performance, innovations, and individual knowledge workers' productivity. A stream of empirical studies has demonstrated with contradictory results that each single organizational knowledge management process -- knowledge creation, knowledge sharing and utilization -- can enhance the knowledge workers' productivity in isolation. In contrast, our study argues with the support of Nonaka's theory and alignment theory that knowledge utilization is the only frontline and primary knowledge management process which can enhance knowledge workers' productivity while other knowledge management processes (knowledge creation and knowledge sharing) support and supplement each other as well as improve knowledge utilization. This means that shared and created knowledge will not enhance the productivity of knowledge workers until organizations strive for knowledge utilization. This study used data collected from 336 knowledge workers in the Telecom industry of Pakistan and examined it using partial least squares modelling. The findings indicated that knowledge utilization is the sole frontline and primary knowledge management to enhance the productivity of knowledge workers. Hence, knowledge utilization can only influence productivity indirectly by increasing the utilization of knowledge created and/or shared.

Higher education has undergone substantial digital change due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, which altered the status quo in education. Universities across the globe have initiated and adapted various course delivery modes to mitigate this unprecedented situation. Among these responses, online classes continue to be the most common. Therefore, this study examines institutional knowledge management and readiness to sustain online course delivery. Adopting a qualitative research design, this study used two methods, semi-structured interviews (n15) and online open questionnaires (n42), to gather data. Reflexive thematic analysis was then used to analyse the data. The study findings underline that the adaptability, flexibility, and approachability of the virtual learning experience are critical to determining an institution's readiness for online classes. Based on student perceptions, the faculties of digital skills, integration of innovative pedagogies, student readiness, skills and experience, and integration of learning resources are the main aspects that determine the readiness of universities for online learning.

This paper aims to explore the relationship between Protean Career Attitude, Boundaryless Career Attitude and Task and Contextual Performance mediated by Knowledge Management (KM). In this paper, KM is taken as a boundary process view, namely, Knowledge Sharing, Knowledge Integration and Knowledge Transformation. KM is taken as a mediator and the perspective of Third Space Hybridity and Knowledge Brokers have been tested. The role of boundary spanners has been investigated by empirically examining 104 employees teaching as adjunct faculty along with working in their respective fields in Karachi, Pakistan. These visiting faculties are performing the role of Boundary Spanners or Artists-Academic (Lam, 2017) and work using the knowledge from academia and organizations. A measurement model and Structural Equation Model using Partial Least Squares (PLS) technique have been applied using SMART-PLS software to test the hypotheses. While the bootstrapping method has been applied to test the mediation. The results showed that Protean Career Attitudes play a significant role in effecting both Task Performance and Contextual Performance through KM. Specifically, self-driven values (sub-dimension of Protean Career Attitudes) effect the relationship. Task Performance has a stronger effect than Contextual performance. This study discusses how the model works across different boundaries and how sharing, integration and transformation of knowledge occurs. This study will help top management in different organizations to understand the role of these boundary spanners and utilize them in the development of new products and services. The management needs to identify such individuals as they are better suited to take up the role of entrepreneurs in their organizations.

The present study aims to extend our understanding of motivational factors that improve the knowledge sharing intention of employees thereby can lead to creating knowledge successfully. Specifically, we aim to extend previous knowledge management research to contribute to both knowledge sharing theory and knowledge creation process with consideration of motivational factors including socialization, externalization, combination and internalization. This study has used quantitative research methodology wherein the data have been collected from 405 students from various universities in Iran using a survey questionnaire. Structural equation modelling has been applied to test the hypotheses of the study. The findings of the study reveal that motivational factors positively influence knowledge sharing and knowledge creation. Results reveal that motivational factors tend to increase the usage of knowledge sharing methods, and consequently, they impact on the creation process of knowledge. Further, motivational factors act as a mediator between knowledge sharing and knowledge creation. This study has limitations that present opportunities for future research. First, the research context covered people from universities only, which limits the generalizability of findings. Second, we did not consider regional cultural differences, which could cause variations in people' knowledge sharing intention. Future studies can build upon the research models to understand the influence of the cultural factors on other type of organisations. This research contributes to both knowledge sharing theory and knowledge creation process with consideration of motivational factors including socialization, externalization, combination and internalization. Thus, the study provides directions to managers to focus on cognitive social aspects (i.e., motivational factors) to encourage the people to share and create knowledge. To the best of authors' knowledge, this study is an early study conducted to examine the influence of motivational factors on knowledge sharing and knowledge creation. This research provides valuable information and guidelines that will be helpful for the managers to consider the important issues during knowledge creation establishment in the universities and organizations which are directly involved with creating knowledge.

Background: Research coproduction is advocated as an approach to produce more impactful evidence, by valuing a diversity of expertise and integrating knowledge users into research processes. Yet, extant literature finds that trying to bridge boundaries between different types of knowledge can also cause collaboration challenges and present barriers to success in coproduction. Aims and objectives: To study how researchers understand and manage knowledge boundaries in coproduced health research, or 'integrated knowledge translation' (IKT) as it is referred to in Canada. Methods: Data were collected from: 1) semi-structured interviews (n=20) with researchers leading different IKT projects across Canada; and 2) participant observation and document analysis for an in-depth case study of one IKT project. Data were combined and analysed using situational analysis, a modified grounded theory approach to visually map patterns of discourse along salient axes of controversy. Findings: We describe four key discursive positions participants take concerning knowledge boundaries in IKT: to recognise and handle, respect and clarify, blur and integrate, or challenge and embrace. These are plotted relative to two salient axes: the degree to which participants viewed boundaries as a problem, and the degree to which they believed boundaries should (or could) be challenged. Discussion and conclusion: The four discursive positions identified will help those doing coproduced research to critically reflect on their own position(s) regarding boundaries in collaborative research, and strategically discuss, select, or switch discourses as needed to support their goals.

While teacher-to-teacher knowledge-sharing is promising for professional learning and improving teaching quality, it lacks integration and timeliness in schools because teachers are usually weak at knowledge-sharing. Despite this weakness, principals as knowledge-sharing leaders can make a difference. There is still limited research about this promising leadership role. One possible reason might be the deficiency of a focussed assessing scale. This study was conducted to develop and validate a scale in Tehran, Iran. To this end, four consecutive sub-studies, including inductive item-pool generation, deductive item-pool generation, content validation, and construct validation, were conducted, and the Knowledge-Sharing Leadership Scale was introduced consequently. The KSLS comprised five dimensions: role-modelling, trust-building, setting expectations, creating a knowledge-sharing-driven environment, and encouraging teachers. It is expected that the KSLS could serve as a practical means for promoting relevant research and practice. Directions for future research and implications are discussed.

The paper introduces an approach that facilitates whole-class curriculum co-creation and presents a case study conducted in a higher education institution in Hong Kong where it was implemented. The approach enables students to actively contribute to constructing a curriculum in partnership with teachers and practitioners, using scenario development techniques within the technology-enhanced learning environments. In this sense, the study is compatible with and contributes to contemporary higher education requirements for future-ready students, able to work in fast-changing, digitalized and globalized working environments. The case study describes the implementation of the approach in undergraduate and postgraduate knowledge management courses. The mix-method design was employed, including content analysis of scenarios, a questionnaire asking for students' feedback, and teacher's observations. The findings revealed that the approach enabled students and the teacher to work more collaboratively and co-create some aspects of the knowledge management courses (e.g., identifying and compiling relevant subject trends), even if some challenges were experienced. The paper points to the need for students' ownership when it comes to developing curricula that better consider students' experiences and meaning-making processes. The paper contributes to contemporary higher education discourse by providing conceptual and practical guidance on how to enact whole-class curriculum co-creation for teachers interested in such practice.

This paper explores the intersection of pedagogical research in communication and research on public diplomacy and engages with the notion of "knowledge diplomacy." It revises the concept of the "collaborative" central to both public diplomacy and higher education pedagogy. With both fields emphasizing the importance of "co-creation," the paper theorizes and operationalizes this concept, and argues that co-creation (as a process and a framework) is one solution to the challenge of dominance argued by the scholarship of "knowledge diplomacy." Empirically, the article engages with two cases of "grassroots knowledge diplomacy" initiated by a tertiary communication program in collaboration with diplomats.

This paper will analyze the concept of Public Service Delivery as a Learning Cities in the Local Government Sector. The research has got great potential for Public Service Delivery as a Learning Cities based on the examples of Well-managed local government awards Thailand continuously awarded. The design adopted in the research used quantitative and qualitative methods to identify the most common factors contributing to Public Service Delivery in Learning Cities' backgrounds. The results showed that overall public service arrangements for local authorities for the fiscal year 2022 were good, accounting for 81.92% ([x-bar]=4.10, S.D.= 1.08) . The main points are the development of educational management, the development of learner potential, and the promotion of customs. Traditions, arts, culture, local wisdom, and tourism are at a reasonable level, and public services to promote the city of learning are connected to each issue of public service arrangements. The city of learning policy is managed through the development of policy networks through public learning activities that Knowledge Management and Urban Learning Manager However, analysis to find out. Knowledge-making in South African universities is set up and framed in particular ways, with a Euro-centric bias. We argue that many of the contributions that African first year entering students could make to this process of knowledge-making are dis-abled, leading to alienation. In this article, we argue for a different perspective and approach to teaching and learning in the humanities. Former Extended Studies students from a South African university have worked collaboratively in a knowledge-making project, and using data generated from this, suggest different kinds of environments and strategies for more inclusive teaching and learning. Using an African feminist theoretical and methodological lens, we consider alternative ways of knowing, and recognition that supports powerful senses of belonging and agency, using examples from student experiences of an Extended Studies humanities programme. We contrast this with how humanities programmes are experienced by some first-year students at the university, sometimes with tragic consequences. Finally, we recommend pedagogic, curricula and extra-curricular changes that can be made, to realise the possibilities of decolonised knowledge-making that is more relevant and inclusive. The authors believe that the ideas around decolonising knowledge that are explored here are more broadly applicable and necessary. Contribution: The article contributes to the conversation on decolonising the humanities curriculum, by including students' experiences, concerns, and suggestions.

There is an increasing interest and growing practice in Citizen Science (CS) that goes along with the usage of websites for communication as well as for capturing and processing data and materials. From an educational perspective, it is expected that by integrating information about CS in a formal educational setting, it will inspire teachers to create learning activities. This is an interesting case for using bots to automate the process of data extraction from online CS platforms to better understand its use in educational contexts. Although this information is publicly available, it has to follow GDPR rules. This paper aims to explain (1) how CS communicates and is promoted on websites, (2) how web scraping methods and anonymization techniques have been designed, developed and applied to collect information from online sources and (3) how these data could be used for educational purposes. After the analysis of 72 websites, some of the results obtained show that only 24.8% includes detailed information about the CS project and 48.61% includes information about educational purposes or materials.

This study focuses on how teachers' pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) of mathematics may differ depending on teacher interactions in an online teacher community of practice (CoP). The study utilizes data from 26,857 posts collected from the South Korean self-generated online teacher CoP, 'Indischool'. This data was then analyzed using natural language processing techniques; specifically, text classification with word2vec, BERT, and machine learning classifiers was used. The results indicate that the texts of posts can predict the level of teacher interactions in the online CoP. BERT embedding and classifier exhibited the best performance, ultimately achieving an F1 score of 0.756. Moreover, topic modeling utilizing BERT embedding is used to uncover the specific PCK of teachers through high- and low-interaction posts. The results reveal that high-interaction posts with numerous likes and replies demonstrate more in-depth reflections on teaching mathematics and refined PCK. This study makes two significant contributions. First, it applies a data science framework that allows for the analysis of real data from an actual online teacher community. Secondly, it sheds light on the intricacies of knowledge management in an online teacher CoP, an area that has to this point received limited empirical attention.

The COVID-19 pandemic is unarguably one of the most disastrous events whose detriment to the normalcy of the education and training sectors will never be forgotten. To salvage the academic year, the Department of Basic Education (DBE) encouraged historically disadvantaged schools to explore rotational learning. This was supplemented by mobile learning, with WhatsApp Messenger as the schools' most preferred application. However, in the face of the concerns that were raised by education commentators, student bodies and teacher unions about the lack of public schools' readiness for mobile learning, this social constructivist-oriented qualitative study adopted the technology acceptance model (TAM) as a lens to investigate educators' perceptions of WhatsApp Messenger as a supplementary tool for curriculum knowledge transfer and acquisition during the stricter COVID 19 lockdown at three historically disadvantaged schools in South Africa. This study drew on 12 educators' diverse and convergent views. The participants generally deposited positive feedback regarding the benefit of using WhatsApp Messenger to engender curriculum knowledge transfer and acquisition. However, they also detailed a few negative aspects of this pursuit, primarily on how the financially needy learners were excluded from participating in this process. Also, educators admitted that while going beyond the call of duty was necessary during the pandemic, the adoption of WhatsApp-mediated teaching consumed most of their leisure time. According to them, this was compounded by poor internet connectivity due to the country's power crisis. In some instances, this adversely affected the productivity of WhatsApp Messenger-mediated curriculum knowledge transfer and acquisition processes during the COVID-19 stricter lockdown regulations.

This research was undertaken by synthesizing theories, documents, textbooks, research articles, and related academic articles relating to the wisdom repository management process. The objective is to present a system architecture and develop a knowledge management system which culminates in a repository of crystallized intelligence with a conversational agent that can promote learning for medical students by introducing a system architecture to develop intelligent agent technology. Through mobile technology, accessible anytime, anywhere, lifelong learning for medical students will be supported via an intelligent crystallized intelligence inventory management system. This keynote includes a comprehensive implementation and has API. The application has been tested with a trial run of all commands, with satisfactory results in the communication of the system that the user accesses through chatbots.

We found that there are disproportionately intractable challenges such as poverty and inequality in an area of Tanzania, Eastern Africa. There was a need to identify and develop the factors critical for their success. Data were collected in rural Iringa, Tanzania on a case study basis, using a semi-structured interview and communication with leaders in this area of Africa, and we analyzed data with a coded transcript. We identified ten factors that are critical for the success of the orphanage literacy. These findings advance understanding of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and have important practical applications for such enterprises. When the United Nations literacy decade (UNLD, 2003--2012) reached a midpoint, we decided to add to the global awareness of literacy. With initiatives and policy shifts providing a stronger basis for action on literacy, we reached out to Africa. Our concern is that the rise in the global adult literacy rate (15+) from 76 to 83.6 percent over the last two previous decades shows steady progress, with the rates in developing countries showing an even sharper rise from 68 to 79 percent (Richmond, Robinson, & Sachs-Israel, 2008). Thus, we focused on students from grades four to twelve to foster their literary progress as well. This study included 58 students who were also orphans in Kihesa-Iringa, Tanzania. By creating a Coalition of Children's Book Authors, we established a common ground for global literacy in the form of an NGO. However, the complication in literacy levels exists due to the digital-divide challenges coupled with the expense and delay of material delivered to Africa from the United States. Thankfully, our concern has succeeded to have influence even through the digital divide posed several objectives. Our course of action included a comprehensive plan to reach the 58 orphans, train their leaders, and create interactive learning modules. Thus, our contribution to the literature has reacted to the needs of an African community that could use help in not only literacy but also literacy-leadership communication and knowledge-management.

The objective of this study is to contribute to the increasing database regarding the effects of school leadership on teachers' data usage by investigating the relationship between the technological leadership behaviors of school principals and data-driven decision-making at their schools based on the mediating and moderating effects of the knowledge management variable. 408 teachers from 14 provinces of Turkey in the 2020-2021 academic year were included in the study. The School Principal Technological Leadership Competency Scale, the Knowledge Management Scale, and the Data-Driven Decision-Making in Schools Scale were used as data collection tools in this cross-sectional quantitative study. Descriptive statistics, correlation, and structural equation modeling (SEM) were used in data analysis. The study results demonstrate the school principals' practices of technological leadership, knowledge management at schools, and data-driven decision-making to be high. It has been found out in the study that knowledge management implementations play a mediating role in data-driven decision-making at schools by increasing the technological leadership competency levels of school principals, while not having a moderating effect on the relationship between technological leadership and data-driven decision-making. In addition, technological leadership and knowledge management have been identified to be significant and positive predictors of data-driven decision-making. Based on the study results, suggestions have been made to improve the technological leadership behaviors and knowledge management implementations of school principals at schools.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of teacher mobility on the knowledge management based on the experiences of teachers and school principals of primary and secondary schools in Turkey. The mobility of teachers in Turkey is fairly high, which makes it significant to study in terms of school management. The analysis of qualitative interviews with thirty participants revealed several meaningful themes pertaining to the advantages and disadvantages of teacher mobility in terms of knowledge management, as well as the strategies to increase the contributions of teachers to knowledge management of the schools that they have to change. The results of this study contribute to an understanding of the effects of teacher mobility on knowledge management and the importance of school leadership in the process of teacher adaptation to new school environments, the topics that are not sufficiently explored in the context of Turkish education.

This study aims to analyze how visual tools, labeled as maps, are built, and used in medical education. Based on the educational model of concept maps (CMs), proposed by Novak and Cañas (2008), and adapted to medicine by Daley and Torre (2010), we are currently analyzing the results of a scoping review following the PRISMA extension methodology, specifically for these purposes. Other visual tools, such as knowledge maps (KMs) and mind maps (MMs), used in medical education, were also included. The search was made through the databases EBSCO, PubMed/MEDLINE, PsycINFO, Scopus, and Eric, using the following items: "concept map*", "knowledge map*", "mind map*" and "medical education". Only articles in English were considered and exclusively in medical education, from undergraduate to resident training. The analysis of selected articles included the following features: construction rules (if they followed Novakian instructions), teaching area, student level (undergraduate, postgraduate/residents), and use for assessment. Other features were the capacity to relate basic science knowledge to clinical concepts, the use of maps with other educational methods, such as problem-based learning (PBL), and providing feedback to students. From a quantitative perspective, the use of CMs is dominant in all phases of medical education. A failure to follow Novakian rules was found in around half of the articles labeled as CMs and KMs. As for MMs, which follow different rules for construction and use, they were considered relevant in helping students to summarize and retain information. Simultaneous use with other educational methods was only found with CMs.

The purpose of this study was to investigate Mor Hom natural dye using a qualitative research approach and local knowledge. Relevant primary and secondary data were collected through in-depth interviews with three sets of key informants, including community scholars, natural-dyed Mor Hom clothing businesses, and academics, and a participatory observation procedure involving a total of 15 participants from five local wisdom areas in Phrae province, Thailand. The content analysis revealed that the natural dye Mor Hom is inherited from the progenitors through communion with the inheritors through narrating, remembering, following, trial and error, and testing until completed. In order to determine Mor Hom local knowledge from the respondent's implicit information, knowledge management technologies are required. In wisdom management, knowledge storage is demonstrated and organised using a method of learning by practise, learning from previous teachings, and studying from successful individuals in natural dyeing, or "best practice", to generate explicit knowledge. In addition, they were developing a knowledge management guideline for natural dyeing wisdom that the community could use to learn and share information. In addition, the local perception of the district is extremely conservative because Mor Hom represents Phrae when people discuss this region. For the community and all concerned parties, the outcome of this research is a handbook and an electronic book for managing the local knowledge of Mor Hom natural dyes.

This study aims to emergency medical services(EMS) and their efficacy within the purview of Local Administrative Organizations (LAOs) in Thailand. As the responsibility for EMS has transitioned from public hospitals to LAOs, it has prompted inquiries into their efficiency. This research endeavors to scrutinize the determinants influencing the performance of EMS managed by LAOs. To accomplish this objective, we embraced a quantitative research approach. Data was obtained from 636 individuals who had availed emergency medical services, chosen through purposive sampling. Questionnaires were used to collect data, and the IOC index was employed to ensure data integrity. Descriptive statistics elucidated and assessed various variables. Multiple regression analysis was conducted with a statistical significance level of 0.01 to unearth the associations between administrative factors and the performance of EMS by LAOs. This research uncovers a positive, moderate-level correlation between administrative factors and the performance of EMS by LAOs. Specifically, factors such as community engagement, service preparedness, operational efficiency, budget allocation, resource availability, and staffing levels were identified as noteworthy predictors of EMS success by LAOs, explaining 60.8 percent of the variance. The outcomes of this study have practical implications for EMS management by local authorities, not only in Thailand but also in other regions grappling with analogous challenges. This research contributes to the ongoing endeavors to enhance pre-hospital care and emergency response, ultimately preserving lives and mitigating the repercussions of emergency illnesses and accidents on communities.

This paper offers guidance for policymakers and institutions keen on embracing Open Educational Practices within their mentorship strategies, advocating for co-creation and collaboration as foundational principles, to promote a wide range of open practices to foster transparency, inclusivity, creativeness, innovation and collaboration in academic mentorship. This conceptual paper explores the transformative potential of Open Educational Practices in the context of academic mentorship, which is per-se an open practice. We have adopted an integrative approach for our literature review, which is a non-systematic model, to help us to mitigate algorithmic biases presented in scholarly databases, for analysing and discussing literature, alongside the review of case studies to explore the intersection of open practices and mentorship in academia. We aim to highlight the profound impact mentorship has on professional development, knowledge dissemination, and collaborative learning. Drawing on a diverse selection of literature and case studies reflecting mentorship programmes both formally and informally in academic contexts, this paper provides concrete examples from practice of how Open Educational Practices can be seamlessly integrated into formal and informal academic mentorship as a driver to enhance knowledge sharing, foster inclusivity, and bolster the quality of mentorship relationships.

The purpose of this study was to synthesize the literature that has been established on the interrelationship of "knowledge spillovers and entrepreneurial ecosystem" through a systematic literature review. The query strings generated 85 articles, of which 51 were selected for final review. The analysis was performed using MySLR software that uses the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) method, and the effectiveness was measured through the perplexity score and coherence value of the topics. The results reveal that although a plethora of literature is available on these two topics individually, the mutual relationship between these two concepts is understudied. A stronger research interest was observed after 2018 which indicates the infancy of the topic as a whole, which is yet to be explored and empirically tested, specifically in developing economies. Most of the research was focused on the role of universities, innovation, geographic dynamics and policies with respect to entrepreneurial ecosystems. Results reveal the disparity of knowledge spillovers with regard to other contributors; significantly lesser attention was paid to its role in relation to the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Along with critical analysis and synthesis of literature, future directions have also been presented in the paper.

Globalization, rapid technological advancement, and a dynamic market environment make organizations need to find effective ways to escalate their organizational performance. Anchored on the resource-based view (RBV) theory, this study investigates the impact of organizational innovation, knowledge management capabilities, and organizational learning on organizational performance in the Malaysian biomass industry. More importantly, this study also examines the moderating effect of collaborative knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) on organizational performance. This study employed census sampling and collected 130 samples. Cross-sectional data were collected using a structured questionnaire and tested using partial least square-structural equation modelling. Subsequently, the assessments of the reflective measurement model, structural model, reliability and validity were conducted. This study found that organizational learning is the most critical factor affecting organizational performance, followed by knowledge management capabilities and organizational innovation. Collaborative KSAs were found to moderate the relationship between organizational learning and organizational innovation on organizational performance. However, no moderating effect was identified on the relationship between knowledge management capabilities and organizational performance.

The role of district research leaders (DRLs) in central offices has emerged as a strategy for improving the creation, flow, and use of research knowledge in decision-making. However, there is limited information about the responsibilities, opportunities, and challenges inherent in these roles. This exploratory qualitative study features document analysis to examine the individual backgrounds, job demands, and organizational contexts of DRLs. The result of this study suggest that multiple pathways to the DRL role exist, but few include formal training in knowledge brokering. Further findings suggest that DRL jobs are complex and entail diverse tasks, but share a focus on research leadership and coordination, identifying and obtaining relevant research information, and facilitating evidence -informed change. Moreover, organizational contexts varied in supportiveness for knowledge brokering work. Overall, there was limited evidence of alignment across individual, job, and organizational characteristics, signaling an opportunity to better define and support those in DRL roles.

Effective health service delivery hinges on the interface between professionals rendering health services to the sick and the injured. This paper examined the inter-professional collaboration and knowledge management practices among the clinical workforce in Federal Tertiary Hospitals in three Geopolitical Zones of Nigeria. The study employed a non-experimental survey design. 550 questionnaires were administered out of which 479 were completed for analysis comprising 204 Medical Doctors, 180 Nurses and 95 Health Information Management Officers, which resulted into 87% response rate. Findings from the study revealed that knowledge acquisition was the most practiced, closely followed by knowledge application. In addition, cooperation was the most practiced form of inter-professional collaboration, next to it is partnership. The study revealed a significant relationship between inter-professional collaboration and knowledge management practices. It shows that only cooperation significantly influenced knowledge management practices while knowledge capturing and knowledge dissemination significantly influenced inter-professional collaboration. The study concluded that Federal Tertiary Hospitals in Nigeria will perform better if they can sustain the culture of knowledge management practices and inter-professional collaboration.

Purpose: This paper aims to understand whether different types of strategic decisions warrant the influence of different types of knowledge providers. Design/Methodology/Approach: A survey of 28 horticulture farmers was conducted in Belgium to explore their knowledge providers and recent strategic decisions. Farmers reported their microAKIS configuration, up to three strategic decisions and detailed the interaction with each of their knowledge providers. Findings: Horticulture farmers configure their microAKIS in unique ways partly depending on their subsector, while purposefully mobilizing only part of this configuration for each strategic decision. The findings suggest that the role of knowledge provider can be context- or decision-specific. Practical Implications: Advisors and policy makers should consider the specificity of advisory services when developing support tools aimed at specific innovations, as farmers do not necessarily rely on topic specialists alone. Theoretical Implications: The results highlight the complexity of the influence of knowledge providers on innovation and the need for research on general strategic decisions and multiple decisions per farmer. Originality/Value: The paper applies a broad methodology to study the mobilization of agricultural knowledge providers by utilizing strategic decisions rather than specific innovations and capturing multiple decisions per farmer.

Although teaching would seem to be exclusively coupled to each country's economic and technological development, it can also be associated with social transformation, provided that it promotes social innovation: in other words, new ways of conceiving society. This leads us to ask how music teachers are being trained in terms of innovation, a concept that plays a decisive role in our current knowledge-based society and economy. This article seeks to obtain an overview of the goals and structures associated with the concept of innovation as featured in the Master's Degree for secondary-school music teaching in Spain. We analyzed the Spanish legislation and the Master's Degree programs of 26 Spanish universities. Our results evidence a lack of consensus regarding which objectives should be pursued and which innovative practices should be prioritized. We nevertheless note a tendency to view innovation merely as an exercise designed to help teachers and students adapt to existing school reality by proposing activities and projects in the area of digital technology, along with examples of "good practices". We conclude that educational innovation needs to make fundamental progress, not only in terms of its presuppositions, but also in its actions, which should lead to the development of critical, creative attitudes that can foster true social transformation.

The programme leader is crucial to the success of a higher education provider's educational portfolio. However, programme leader development is under-researched and is too often conceptualised in a negative way, as the solution to a problem. Here we adopt a positive approach by undertaking an Appreciative Inquiry with programme leaders to understand their development needs. Our work identifies domains of reward and responsibility intrinsic to the programme leader role. Mapping these against a Competence-Based Higher Education Framework, we propose a holistic model for the academic development of programme leaders. We encourage others to adapt this model to their institutional contexts.

Background: While the rhetoric of evidence-based policymaking and practice is pervasive and persuasive, the extent to which either have been achieved is contested. Both require effective approaches to research-based knowledge mobilisation, particularly at the local level where context specificities undermine generic 'what works' claims. There has been limited research on how local processes of knowledge mobilisation happen, the practices they employ and why, and what can be learned from them. Aims and method: We undertook a systematic scoping review of local models of knowledge mobilisation to address these gaps in process understanding. Keywords associated with knowledge mobilisation at the local level were identified, and searches of two international databases were conducted in May 2023. Findings: Our review identifies three key features of knowledge mobilisation at the local level: it is relational; it involves the integration of different forms of knowledge; and it recognises the need for approaches to knowledge mobilisation to be tailored to local contexts, culture and capacity for evidence use by individuals and organisations, and at system level. Our findings advance understanding of how knowledge mobilisation at the local level can be designed to improve evidence utilisation in policy and practice. Discussion and conclusion: The paper highlights important gaps in current knowledge -- namely a lack of understanding of the informal processes that underpin local knowledge mobilisation and of the determinants of demand for and the impacts of mobilising evidence -- and it suggests ways in which future research might address these.
